A must read...... I could write a 16 page positive review…read moreabout the salesman we had the pleasure of working with, but I'll keep it short. Purchasing a new car isnt fun, but working with Thurmond was a smooth, and zero stress environment. My young adult daughter had her sights on one specific car after mnths of searching and she was ready to purchase that one, and ONLY that one and the car had not even got the lot yet. I wasn't giving her money for it. She had to afford it all by herself. I told her Id do the haggling for her and I was not looking forward to that feeling if worked a double in a rock quarry dealing with a car salesman. End result, we drove off the lot with THE car she wanted, papers signed and we felt great! She had just signed away thousands of dollars, years of payments in her name to this dealership and we felt we'd made a great decision to purchase from here. Capital Mazda may not know how big of a gold mine they have in this employee. I hope they invest in Thurmond because dealerships have bad reputations due to salesmen that are a dime a dozen. Thurmond had to put up with hours of my multiple questions for a solid 5 days and by the time we left the dealership we felt OUR time and money was well spent here and ready to buy my own car from them. I never had trouble reaching Thurmond. He was reliable, good energy, he was focused on us, I never felt pressured or rushed and he did a good job leading us to closure. I can see it when I look back now. The deal was fair, and really important--Thurmond actually likes his job so I have to compliment his management team. Great salespeople are a reflection of the culture and leadership they have and it was evident management respects and works in tandem with their people. Johnathon especially. There was a manager who seemed a bit scary/gruff at first, but was actually kind & professional so in the end the dealership was well rounded IMO. Ask for Thurmond. He is a breath of fresh air in today's environment. We are purchasing our next car thru Capital Mazda......unless Thurmond switches job sites.

Poor customer service and a very extremely frustrating experience. This location was difficult to…read moredeal with from the start. Vehicle pickup was disorganized, communication was poor, and the process was far more stressful than it should have been. The manager was horribly disrespectful, unhelpful, and made the situation more complicated instead of resolving it. Based on my experience, I would not recommend picking up a vehicle from this location.

The staff was welcoming and extremely quick with checking me out with the vehicle to get my trip started. The inside of Enterprise was clean. I used my employer's corporate discount. Enterprise required a $500 hold for a corporate discount which wasn't disclosed to me until I arrived. Fine! The rep pulls up a vehicle. It was filthy. The excuse was that the car washes were frozen. I recall Enterprises having car detailing teams with buckets for handwashing. Water can come from the inside of the business. Poor excuses. Please come again! I ended up settling on another economy vehicle that wasn't as visible as dirty on the outside. The car was reasonably priced and provided great gas mileage for my road trip. I have no complaints about how the car drove. The outside of the vehicle could have been a Lil cleaner. That is all. I will use Enterprise again, but I would like improvements and cleaner vehicles in the inventory.

I'm a longtime Avis loyalist and business traveler. Simply put, locations with no after-hours drop…read moreoptions simply don't work for me. Hard stop. I've rented in many states at large and small locations, and I've literally never had this issue. As this was my first rental in the state, I wasn't aware that this "no drop box" deal is commonplace in North Carolina, and I wish I'd been told at the counter at pickup. But, that's on me. I've now been educated that "North Carolina is different. All NC Avis locations outside of airports have no drop boxes or after-hours returns." Meanwhile, my husband casually throws out that Fuquay-Varina Enterprise (boo!) location has a drop box, and he's used it twice. -- We're clearly a house divided on preferred rental companies. So my reply to that is-- Be an Avis trailblazer in this state! What a simple accommodation to consider, and a huge missed opportunity for added convenience for your customers. (Or do I join the Enterprise ranks when I'm in NC now? I'll have to chew on that a while.) Lord forbid someone's delayed or life happens. I showed up at 1:15PM on a Sunday, and after parking on the 5th level in the garage across the street and entering the hotel lobby, I had no way to return my vehicle, other than to go back to the garage across the street and take the vehicle to the airport and try the return process again. How's that for convenience, with a looming engagement to get to. Seriously? Charge me for an extra day, but please (for the love of all that is holy) let me return the keys after all the hoops I had to jump through while backpacking to and fro in downtown Raleigh in hopes of returning a car. It cannot be this complicated. Going forward, and as much as I can help it-- it's airport only for me in these parts. Lesson learned, le sigh. I got yelled at for parking in the hotel pull in rather than the parking terrace across the street, as if I was supposed to know that. I informed the employee that when I picked up the car elsewhere it had not been vacuumed out first. He exclaimed that he did not believe that and looked at the passenger seat floor (I had no passengers) and declared that they would probably have to steam clean it and that they would charge me more. I said they better not! However, they ran my card for an additional $120. I filed a complaint with Avis headquarters about a week ago but so far have heard nothing!
