My experience with Brittany at Enterprise Car Sales was very disappointing. I found her to be unprofessional, dismissive, and rude throughout our interaction. I did not feel respected as a customer, and her behavior made the process uncomfortable and frustrating. Customer service is an important part of any car-buying experience, and unfortunately I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with her. I noticed immediately she smelt strongly of alcohol when meeting her and observed her what appeared to be smoking some sort of drug on her break. I do not recommend this place! read more

I was in a car accident and my vehicle was in the shop for 5 weeks for repairs. After 3 weeks I needed to orchestrate the pickup of a rental car. Once my insurance agent put in the request with enterprise, I received a call within 15 minutes to setup a time to pickup a rental. From the first call through the pickup all of the staff was friendly and engaging. I was well aware of what I needed to bring and what the deposit would be at the time to secure the rental. The process of picking up the rental was very quick and efficient. I returned the car to where my car was for repairs. Enterprise took that extra step to call and let me know that they had the car back and everything looked great. If you're in need of a rental for leisure or due to an accident I highly recommend you try this location. They had a decent selection of cars and made it a very easy process amongst friendly staff. read more

Sometimes Enterprise is truly outstanding. If you get lucky and happen to draw a great rental agent you'll drive out with a really nice car and often an upgrade from what you reserved. I am a long time Enterprise customer so I expect to receive top tier service. Sometimes I do. Other times, like today, I do not. I always rent a luxury car. So at the very least I will get a very nice car and often an upgrade to something even better. I reserve my rental weeks in advance. Often months in advance. I go through Costco so you have to check back often as the rates will fluctuate wildly week to week. On this particular rental I saved $150 by doing this. One would think Enterprise would just automatically give their most loyal customers the best possible rate and not force them to play these stupid games. But the people in "corporate" are clueless morons. They seem to be far more interested in perfecting their golf game than in running a first class business. So I show up to pick up my luxury car as reserved and am greeted to an empty lot. Oh, sorry... we've been very busy this week and don't have any luxury cars. Like this is my problem and not theirs. And like this isn't the dozenth time Enterprise has done this to me over the past handful of years. Scheduling rental cars is not a new or complicated technology. My little great granddaughter could probably figure out how many Tonka trucks she'd need to have available tomorrow by just looking at the reservations calendar. So I left, sans my rental car. The "manager" who's biz card has the title "management trainee" committed to having an actual luxury car on the lot, ready to go at 08:00 tomorrow. We shall see. I got a lot of blah, blah excuses why Enterprise had no cars available. Now if I was a walk-in customer and they had nothing that would be expected and understandable. Instead I had to endue a lot of fake apologies and annoying "we appreciate your patience" blather for a problem that was of their own making. I was told, "If I have a problem I am welcome to report it to corporate". Yeah, right. Why don't I just hit my head with a hammer? The results would be the same. Nothing is ever going to change at Enterprise until the clods responsible for this stuff are shown the door. I'm not hopeful. read more

I've visited this location for several rentals in the last 5 years; the staff has always been courteous, helpful and honestly friendly. I suspect the employees actually enjoy their jobs. I was recently in an accident where someone totaled my car, so I was using a rental through this location for the last week. Everyone I spoke to at this Enterprise, both on the phone and in person were all so kind and friendly. When I dropped off my rental today, Kyle Lightsinger(sp?) helped me with my return. He greeted me right before I even got inside the building and was so kind and helpful as he got me checked out. I was in a severe car accident. I set up my pick up time to get the car the next day. I told it would be $50 for a deposit. Then I get there and they're wanting me to pay the $600 upfront. The young guy helping me Christian did not have good customer service even argued with his manager. I almost walked out and went somewhere else. Then I tried altering my rental to a different time and date and they couldn't find me in the system because the guy entered my information wrong in the computer. I couldn't even claim my rewards. I've NEVER had a good experience at a car rental place. Ever. I had to get a rental car because someone side swiped my car and it was being repaired. Taylor welcomed me as soon as I walked in and went through the checklist and options for me. I told her we needed to add my husband as a driver but he had forgotten his mask, and was outside, and she said no problem! We can do all that while you car shop and pick the car up want to borrow. She took the time to really provide me a lot of options and even though it was a fairly impractical car, I chose a Dodge Challenger because my son LOVES them and it's his favorite. Since COVID has brought so many disappointments I thought we could be indulgent and get this car. It was super clean and I appreciate the process they use to keep it that way for customers. During our rental period, we decided to go to Mt. Hood to sled and wondered if we could swap the car for an SUV since it's completely impractical to drive a Challenger up there. It was NO issue at all. The entire process was so easy with each car and with Enterprise doing a FAR better job on keeping us apprised on our progress than the actual repair shop. I was really impressed with their customer service and appreciated their communication. Taylor specifically was GREAT! Next time I need a rental I'll definitely come here! read more

EDIT: I heard from the manager at this Enterprise. She apologized and lowered the price of the car to what I was quoted originally. So I'm adding two stars and this text. It isn't a ton of money, but for the principle -- both the customer service and the hassle -- it was nice to hear from them and get the adjustment. First: the guy I dealt with was nice but unempowered to do anything helpful; that's not his fault. That said, I don't understand why this place takes reservations. After having to go back and forth between the local Enterprise and the call center last week, I finally got a reservation and everything was set. Then when I showed up after dropping off my car for repair work, they claimed that the cars they had were somehow higher than "luxury" class and they didn't have any cars in the "regular luxury" class. It's not as if I surprised them, I made a reservation way in advance with date & time & car class; they knew that I was coming for that purpose. So they wanted to charge almost double for the car they had on the lot. Then, when the call center said that I could get a car for the quoted price at a different Enterprise, they said I would have to arrange my own travel there. At this point, they ended up making some sort of special discount that was still well over my quoted price but at least it got me out of there. Again, it's not the fault of the poor guy who was trying to help. I don't know if it's the management of this particular Enterprise, or if the whole company just sucks, but literally I am left with the question: what's the point of making a date/time and class of car reservation if they're not even going to try to meet that commitment? read more

So I've had great experiences with Enterprise in the past and I've definitely not had a problem sharing that experience with others but I've always pre-ordered online and on this day my car had broken down, I was so stressed out and already having a terrible day so I didn't have time to order online and I came in in person and customer service was great but I don't know what happened but I got overcharged for a vehicle that had expired tags and ended up getting pulled over because of that and almost in an accident because of bad breaks. Luckily, I didn't get a ticket because I was on my way to return the vehicle and the police officer was really understanding of my situation as my personal vehicle was in the shop. But not only were the tags expired on the vehicle that I was rented through Enterprise but you could tell it had not been driven in a very very long time, it was extremely dirty inside and out, had cigarette Burns on the seats, smelled of animal urine and it had not been through a car wash in what seemed to have been a really long time and had probably sat on the back lot for far too long before being driven. Also the brakes were bad and I almost got into an accident because when first driving it I had not realized you had to push the brakes so far down to the ground in order to stop and it was leaking oil really bad. I was charged the same price for this Nissan Versa with expired Mississippi tags, was extremely dirty and bad brakes that I was charged for the almost brand new Nissan kick and the Chevy Equinox I had gotten the year previously and I'm just absolutely beside myself as to why I was given this kind of service for being such a loyal customer. I just got done picking up a rental car due to an accident I was in. This is the second time I've used this location and both times I've had excellent customer service. Today I worked with Mark and Taylor, they were both very friendly and responsive to my needs. I'm a frequent car renter due to my work and can honestly say this location has some of the best customer service. I went to this location with a promise that there would be an available car while my car is in the shop. I talked to Brian at this location. I show up on a Friday at 4:30 to be told by the VERY rude and disrespectful manager that they have no cars. That was it. No I'm sorry. No "let's make this right". Nothing. Pretty much just F*** you. To make matters worse, I'm also 9 months pregnant and I can't just be out of a car for unknown amount of time. I then proceeded to call other locations frantically looking for a rental. I had a fuel pump being replaced on my pick up . And rented a mid size for a week . The morning I picked up no no selection she upgraded me to a van at no extra charge together we walked around the van looking to make sure there were no dings against which is normal and noted I am looking for things to deal with paint not looking at Trim around windows. Returned the Vehicle with only 50 miles I completely washed and vacuumed before returning which I do with every vehicle that I rent from Enterprize (that's just me) The Gentleman checking the vehicle in.pointed at dimple in the chrome trim around the side window . He commented ,"you're lucky you have the walk away insurance "and I said what do you mean ?? He pointed at the trim . I said I didn't do that He said ,"you had the opportunity to walk around the vehicle and it's not noted". I said yes but I was looking at paint chips and dings in the paint and do was the lady checking it out to me. I wasn't looking at molding around side windows . . I said that was there. I thought it was indented for the door as no paint ins damaged. Yes I took the full insurance. had I not taking the full insurance. if Enterprize was going to charge me for that window trim repair they would've lost me as a customer. I don't know no vehicle that has sliding cargo doors. I didn't need to use the doors . I wanted a mid size car I think it opened and shut the door it was twice. The indentation in the metal is obviously caused by the door since the hinge is right below it. I've rented a lot of vehicles from enterprise . I say again if I would've been charged .insurance or not. They would have lost me as a customer. people walk your vehicle and point out every little ding and dent. Even if you think that indentation is there from the factory pointed out!... This is the first time that I've left Enterprise. irritated I host an Air BnB in Beaverton I tell my out of town guest . Let me give you the low down. Unless you are a customer of a dealership nearby where they have a contract with, they really could care less about your business. My situation was a complete service failure. Let me also say that I am a Enterprise Plus Business member and have rented from Enterprise for years - both through my employer and on my own so I am a loyal member. It started with the North Portland location where they didn't have my car type available or an alternative despite me having a CONFIRMATION. Booked here in Beaverton and when I arrived they too, did not have my car type available. Even though it allowed me to book online and I was given a CONFIRMATION. I emphasize this to warn you that even though you have a booking, if they don't have that specific car type available, you won't get it. Did they offer a solution? Not even close. I was left to feel that I was a burden, that I didn't matter and frankly, that they would rather have helped anyone else. I booked an SUV and the ones they did have on the lot were reserved for others. Again, no offer to call around or make the situation right. Ashley, the branch manager, instead kept reiterating that it was the other branch's fault, not hers (which I understand to a certain extent). Wow. So, if someone were to walk into my business and say they were mistreated at another location, their logic is: well, we really don't care? It's ONE BRAND and ONE COMPANY. It's clear that these franchise locations outside of the airport locations could really care less. When we were finally able to get a SUV, only because someone returned their SUV a day early, Ashley told me that she was giving me someone else's car. Hmmm, didn't you say that the ones on the lot were already spoken for? This slimy tactic of trying to make it seem like they went out of their way to help me was disgusting. I literally sat there as the man told her he was here to return his car early. So no favors were done. She simply was trying to make herself and her branch look good. Instead of apologizing and trying to give simple service recovery, Ashley made sure to tell me that she expected a good review. Of what? The fact that your location is slimy and shady? And what should've taken 20 min ended up being 3 hours? Copy. Also when I called to ask if they could waive the drop fee (since that's the least they could do for the service failure I experienced) Ashley said there was NO WAY possible to do that. I explained my situation at the airport location and they waived it for me. Save your time, your sanity and book with the airport location. They treat you like a human being. This Beaverton location lacks basic customer service and they care more about ratings and reviews then actually running a decent business. read more

Last time we rented from Enterprise it was at PDX and we were very disappointed. So this time we thought smarter and were not disappointed! We rented from this Enterprise location last week and could not be happier with the service we received. When we arrived to pick up our rental car around noon on a Saturday, they were packed! And although we felt that they needed more people working to get people checked in and out, Ryan communicated very well and that made all of the difference. We had reserved a compact car, but once they got us checked in and took us outside to pick a car, we were upgraded to a mid-size vehicle at no cost. Unfortunately when we got into it, it smelled of cigarette smoke. (Who smokes in a rental vehicle?!) Anyway, we had already spent a lot of time there, so we didn't want to make a fuss, but the girl that helped us compensated us on the gas and we appreciated that. It was just as easy (if not easier!) dropping the vehicle off when we were done...they even offered to give us a ride to wherever we needed to go. All in all - a great experience. So, my Jeep developed some intermittent starting issues (like it would start maybe half the time) and I found myself in need of a rental car for a few days while we troubleshot, replaced a few things (thanks honey), troubleshot some more and then got it in to a good mechanic friend who took care of it. That whole process took several days, and I have a job and errands and things and using my husband's truck when available (he also has a job and errands and things) was not a sustainable solution. Anyway. Let me tell you, on a Sunday afternoon at the end of Spring break, rental cars are in short supply and Enterprise was the only car rental open. So I made a quick reservation online and then went down to pick up a car. I've never used Enterprise, in fact I can't remember the last time I rented a car for personal use (only business, where I don't pick the car company). It turned out to be a great choice. I reserved the cheapest class of car as I don't need much, but inventory was tight on those so I got a free upgrade to about 5 classes above what I reserved. At least. So I got to drive around a new Jeep Cherokee with alllllll the bells and whistles and let me tell you, after years of driving an aging (but much beloved) 14 year old Jeep Liberty this was at once familiar and yet so very, very different and awesome. And I got to rent it insanely cheaply.It was a fun little treat for a few days. 3 days later my little Jeep was fixed and I returned cool new Jeep. The entire process went smoothly and easily. Horrible service.. from Assistant manager.. Not only I had to get my rental cars changed 3 times, I was told that she is being accommodating.. I was on business trip, and the 3rd exchanged car, required oil change. Not only she asked me to go to Firestone, take appointment and get oil changed, but answered very rudely. If I had time, in the world when I'm on business trip, I would have done that. After that I was called in the office to get an another exchange. After going there, during my office hours, I was told that even though my car requires oil change, I dont have to do that right away.. This Enterprise was so great. I had been rear ended the day before coming in and had to have a rental because my car was in the shop. I had went to 2 enterprises who told me that all they had was a pick up truck for me. Being that I had just been in an accident, I wanted to drive a car similar to a sedan for familiarity reasons. Anyways, this Enterprise originally had a Minivan for me, it wasn't my first choice but I could deal with a minivan. I told them my story of the accident, how this was the 3rd Enterprise I had been to etc. Before I left the lot, they told me they could give me a Kia Soul for the economy price. They were apologetic and very kinda about all of it. Getting in a car accident sucks, but this Enterprise was empathetic and understanding. I'm so thankful for this location. read more

The Enterprise employees (4050 SW Murray Blvd Beaverton, OR 97005), promise discounts, facilities and won't even provide those discounts or facilities. They provide me the pick up on a week day and failed to pick me up on time. They picked me after 1 hour that too, I have to give them a call and remind them. We left a cable inside the dashboard and we pretty sure about it. They say that it was not there. I won't recommend this to any one. read more

I've been renting quite a few cars here over the past six months and have had different experiences each time. Sometimes it's super fast, sometimes it's super slow. So, why give it four stars? This is the busiest Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Beaverton, and as such, it's going to have a long queue of people from time to time. The people who work there (especially Julie) are awesome. They "upgraded" me to a pickup once, but after driving around the block, I found it was way too big of a vehicle for my needs, so I brought it back and ended up in I think a Mazda 6, which was fantastic. There have been times when the cars weren't especially clean, and the salesperson either had it actually cleaned or upgraded me to a better car. And, a lot of the slowness, besides sheer number of people, is that people just aren't prepared to rent a car (missing documents/reservations, invalid payment methods, etc). Some tips for renting a car, generally: 1) Have your driver's license 2) Have a credit card with at least $300 available on it because if you don't: a) they'll need a debit card where instead of just seeing if the money is available, b) they will actually take money out of your account for a deposit and c) refund you the difference when you return the car. 3) Have good car insurance so you don't have to pay all the extra for their insurance. 4) If someone else's insurance is paying for your car, call ahead and make sure everything is set up and see what additional paperwork you may need. read more

The first car I got had a warning light on so I went back in and they were very fast to get me into another car. Even with this little glitch, I would recommend Enterprise. I rent at this location often due to work. Each time, my experience has always been mediocre at best. My last experience was the last straw. I started with scheduling a pickup at my office two days in advance. I called 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time to see where they were. They claimed to have had some "confusion" and hadn't sent anyone yet. 25 minutes after the scheduled time they arrived to pick me up. They picked me up in what I requested, which was a large SUV. I arrived at their office to check out... Simple in and out, right? Nope, they gave a customer in line the car they picked me up in. I didn't realize it until I saw the suburban rolling out of the lot. Unbelievable!! To make this short, they did not have another SUV. They had to scramble and find a solution. They found a solution but it pushed my departure back by two hours creating a pretty frustrating trip in Portland traffic. Good luck if you rent with this circus!! read more

I used these guys when my car was being repaired from a fender-bender. They were helpful in driving me back and forth between the auto body shop. My only complaint was that the car they gave me reeked like cigar smoke! YUCK. I mentioned it to the guy who was helping me but I was ignored. Great experience at this location. A week ago I rented a car from a different branch and had a bad experience. I was up in the Portland area for a wedding, and realized it would be easier to get a second car rather than share one with my girlfriend. The both of us were helping out with the wedding and needed to go in different directions at times. I was reluctant to rent from Enterprise again but the location was near the hotel I was staying at. I downloaded the app and reserved my car at a very resonable price. I was there bright and early at opening. They looked fully staffed and ready to go. A man checked my reservation and a nice young lady was ready to go do a walk through within minutes of my arrival. My previous experience at the other location was terriable. I had to wait over an hour and a half because they "overbooked reservations." The lot was fully stocked with vehicles clean and ready to go. I told the young lady that I was the DJ at the wedding and she even offered to get me an entry level SUV for my equipment. I declined but appreciated the thought. I declined the supplemental insurance they offered and she explained how my insurance policy and credit card would handle any incidence if anything happend. My other experience the guy keeped on telling me how bad it was not to take there insurance. If I am ever in the Portland area and need a car Ill get it here. read more
