Exceptional Service at Canyon Road Enterprise - Zac and Team Went Above and Beyond After my car was broken into and my purse and wallet stolen, I was already dealing with the trauma of feeling violated while navigating the exhausting process of replacing everything - closing bank accounts, getting a new driver's license, and filing police reports. When my car went to the shop, I reserved a rental through my insurance at the Highway 99 Enterprise location. I called ahead to explain my situation and that I only had a temporary paper license from the DMV. I offered to bring my passport and any other documentation needed. The Oregon DMV confirmed over the phone that my temporary license and supporting documents were sufficient for verification. I even went into the local DMV office in person to see if there was anything else I could do, but they assured me that what I had was completely valid and should be accepted. However, the manager at Highway 99 flatly refused, insisting I needed a physical license with my photo - something the DMV said would require starting the entire process over and paying additional expedited fees since they use a third party for processing and couldn't refund what I'd already paid. Throughout this interaction, the manager showed zero compassion, speaking to me coldly as if my situation was just an inconvenience to him. Even when I asked if my husband could rent the car for me, he incorrectly stated I couldn't drive it without a physical license (which my insurance confirmed was false - Oregon law allows me to drive any car I'm insured for with my temporary license). I left feeling defeated and violated all over again. Thankfully, a relative who works for Enterprise suggested I try another location. When I called Canyon Road in Beaverton, it was like night and day. The manager and Zac (who's in the management training program) were immediately sympathetic and accommodating. They found a way to verify my identity without bending any rules and got me into a rental car. They even came to my house for pickup to ensure I was completely taken care of during this difficult time. The contrast between locations was striking - where Highway 99's manager was cold and dismissive, the Canyon Road team showed genuine care and understanding. Zac and the manager (I wish I could remember his name!) turned one of my worst weeks into a moment where I felt heard and helped. I cannot recommend the Canyon Road Enterprise location highly enough. The experience from the beginning was great. Kayden picked me up at the car repair shop right on time. He was friendly and did a good job driving-comfortable to ride with. I had a horrible experience from pickup when they did not have any of the size vehicles had initially requested and Jose tried to out mein a much larger vehicle that I was not comfortable driving and did not want to be responsible for a larger gas bill and when I declined he was very pushy and rude. he then out mein a sedan that had just comeback that was not cleaned or wiped from previous customer, stains on seats etc. then, when returning the car, matead of asking us or allowing us time to tell the the form of payment we are wanting to use, they ran the credit card that they talked using using for the down payment and charged that without our permission. Meg who says she is the manager at this location is the one who charged my credit card without permission and was very rude, condescending and expressed no care in regards to this mistake. Chopped it up to human error and then asked me to another form of payment for today and the could refund my credit card after payment with through which would out mein out $600 for something that should have cost $152. yes that would be temporary, but a huge inconveniences to me nonetheless. Terrible experience renting with them. My son's car was damaged while it was parked downtown. He was told to get a rental through Enterprise. The Murray Enterprise location encouraged my son to get the extra insurance at $25/day knowing full well that his insurance would cover any damages. This is a predatory practice and should be illegal. They said that he could have reviewed his contract at any time - which isn't true because they sent the contract to the wrong email address and never gave my son a paper copy. Terribly disappointed in their practices and will never use them again. Hoping they'll do the right thing and return his money. read more

Excellent customer service from beginning to end with both Ryan and Andy. A week prior to my pick up, they called because they had more demand than supply for the car I reserved. They asked what specifically I wanted with the car class (cross over) and were able to get me into a car that was much better for my need for both interior cargo space and rough terrain. I use Enterprise Exotic Car collection mostly in Beaverton, Oregon and always have positive experience. Kyle and his team are very helpful and always very nice. The cars are great. I suspected a problem with the car one time and Kyle not only picked up the car but gave me a choice of cars that were all an upgrade from what I rented. Can't say enough about Samantha C. .. My car repairs went south fast. My car started shaking and I immediately drove it back to the dealer. No foul though. My car has been in storage, and after a while the brakes tend to fall apart. The shutter scared my new 16 year old driver. Long story short my repairs were comp'ed and Enterprise picked me up. Grouchy, pissed and late-Samantha got me in and out in record time. She, at light speed, managed the office and waiting customers with skill and seasoned poise. Mechanic didn't call ahead, as asked, but when I got there, they were able to accommodate me miraculously. Overheard from the person in front of me that they were sold out in the entire city, but they made it happen. Totally impressed with their service. They also had a computer outage at the time of rental too. Everything ran very smooth even with someone in training. 5 well deserved, glimmering stars for these stellar chunks of starstuff. Beware: they'll spoil you rotten "Sorry sir, we don't have the car you reserved. Are up okay with upgrading to a brand new BMW X3 with 16 miles on it, for no additional charge?" GASM blast! This, and several similar instances have occurred. I've rented from these guys about 6 times and they've always gone the extra 16 miles to make sure my trip's 48 karat gold. Rented with Enterprise at this location for many years without a problem! Reserved a car online and when I arrived to pick it up, the customer service went down the drain. Now you have to provide this company a utility bill with your name and address on the bill matching your drivers license when using a Debit Card. Well, we just moved after selling our home and are renting another home. So nothing matches my driver's license so I wasn't able to rent a car! Worst service I have ever had over the past 15 years. We spoke to a rep for Enterprise who said we could have a Cadillac or equivalent. When we got there the only thing they had were trucks. I do not drive trucks! After a wait someone came in with an older model Chev Equinox so they put us in that with a promise of an upgrade by the end of the day. Nothing, same promise the next day, again nothing.. Well, here it is a week later, after calling and calling, asking to speak to a manager (who was promised to call me back) have not heard one word from them. I really like this location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've been upgraded for free before. I also like Enterprise because they "pick you up". They also don't change their rates if you extend your reservation. The only reason it's not a 5 star? They always hold my full deposit hostage AFTER the car has been dropped off, for up to a full 24 hours. This is the only location that I've experienced this with. Others will return balance into my account upon drop-off. It's just annoying, but it's good to know in advance so you can budget around the missing $250 deposit minus rental cost. read more

Had to rent a vehicle when my SUV was in the shop and I needed cargo space to haul things. Thought I was going to rent another SUV, but rep at Enterprise asked why I was renting vehicle and then talked me in to a minivan as it had so much more space (with stow and go seating). Upgraded me for free and I liked it so much I ended up ditching my SUV and buying a minivan. Had I known Enterprise also sold their rentals, I probably would have purchased from this group. Today, I had to take my car in to be fixed at a nearby body shop due to someone rolling back and hitting the front of my car, and the auto body shop contacted Enterprise for me knowing I was in need of a rental car while the work was being done. It didn't take long for someone to pick me up and we were on our way to this Enterprise location. I want to thank Brandon in particular for being such a great problem solver and a patient guy. He helped me out so much, and made the headache I have been dealing with for the last month with the other person's insurance a breeze instead. We managed to get enough information we needed and although things hadn't been completely taken care of (again, the fault of the other person's insurance), everything sort of fell into place. He was even kind enough to take care of me beyond what was required of him because of the inconvenience, and now I am driving a super fun car while mine is in the shop. I've had a smile on my face all day! It could have gone much worse, but Enterprise and Brandon made it so much better. I used Cost-co travel aFriendly and accomodating gentlemen at the sales/service counter. No extreme upgrade pressure. They let me know what I could upgrade to and offered a reasonable up charge price. I discovered best price time to upgrade is before closing. I was going to be two hours late from my 24hr drop off time and they could of charged me the 1/3 day rate but didn't. They could flex between not dropping me off at work and allowing me to run a few hours late. read more

This is one of my favorite place to rent a car, the staff here were all friendly and very accommodating. I had a trip plan early in the morning around 6:30 am and wishes to get the car a little bit sooner. I call and spoken to the Manger Ben Brikley, who is such an awesome guys. Rent from Enterprise at your own risk!!! Even though this problem occurred at an Enterprise office in Tennessee, I'm also posting it here because this is where we are from. And, it's really the Enterprise head office that is the culprit. So, it doesn't matter where you rent your Enterprise car. You're still likely to be treated similarly. A friend of mine rented a car on a business trip to Tennesee. While he had the car he went to open the back door and the handle came off in his hand. When he returned the car, he gave them the door handle and explained what happened. At first he was told there was no problem. However, their "suits in cubicles" at some office somewhere decided that they needed to bill him for damage. $102.10 for the door handle, $50 for administrative fees, $24.67 for loss of use, $10.21 for diminished value. They finally waived the diminished value amount and charged him $176.77. This, for a handle that was clearly already defective. I had a bad experience with Enterprise administration (not the field people) as well. I rented a car in Hawaii. A tire went flat for no apparent reason. When I called the number on the paperwork, it was some office on the mainland. I was told to call someone to fix it and I would have to pay for it. That was the end of it. I urge everyone to spread the word about Enterprise. They are a dangerous company to do business with. read more

A great friend and I were dreaming of getting away to the coast for sometime and had overcome a few obstacles renting a car until we came here. He was very flexible and accommodating to get us where we needed to be. Dealing with this Enterprise location was fantastic. They were fair, transparent, and courteous. My family and I were in the area for an extended, but undefined stay (we were traveling up the Coast by RV and evaluating whether we wanted to live in Portland). Because the RV isn't a "jump in and go" vehicle, we rented a car from this location. We got a great rate, and we were able to extend our reservation week-by-week. When we hit a 30 day limit on our rental, we had to reserve at a different rate, but they allowed us to keep the car for a few days more (rather than make us trapse to an office in Seattle, where we were traveling at the time). Thought names have escaped me now, management was superb. Even new employees, when they didn't quite know what to do, were well trained to ask their managers, who always had a creative solution to the problem. We rented a vehicle from this location for 9 days in November. Our son is an employee at this location. We had the best service and we even received a fabulous upgrade!!! Now I am not just giving them a glowing recommendation because he works there, because I would not!! We were picked up at the Beaverton transit station by a wonderful young man who was waiting there for us and driven to their location. They were busy when we arrived, but were waiting on in a timely manner. We drove there almost every day to see our son and they were always busy with customers...it looked like it was a popular place for sure!!! We even had to extend our rental 1 day and had no issues. Our son loves his job and the coworkers treat him great. It makes us feel relaxed know we are 2350 miles away and he is working at a place where he and his family are taken care of.
