We came to this Enterprise on a Saturday morning after making a reservation online. The lady at the counter told my partner that because she had booked the car using my corporate code, I had to be the one to pay for and drive the car. That had never happened before; nevertheless, my partner was forced to wait in the sitting area for 20 minutes while I made my way down to the location (we had planned on saving time with her picking up the car while I ran errands). When I arrived at the rental car agency, another customer service individual told us the same thing. I asked if this was a new policy -- that the corporate card necessitates the employee paying for and driving the car -- and the customer service rep was very squirrely, refusing to answer the question and say either yes (it was a new policy) or no (the policy had just previously gone un-enforced). Finally, when they proceeded through the reservation, it became apparent that the particular corporate code that my partner had applied DID NOT require me to pay for and drive the car. So she had waited 20 minutes for no reason whatsoever, with little in the way of apology from any of the people working there. We were finally led to a car, which was freshly cleaned although with only 1 bar of gas. One of the three reps we dealt with was really kind and quick, tried to get us into a car and on the road, but I was unimpressed with the service we received from the other two people there. The car itself was nice, pretty clean, handled well, and the location of the rental car agency is convenient but...just a word of caution, in case you're renting with a corporate code! read more

This was the most efficient car rental agency I have ever done business with. I rent cars often for work, and the agency near my home always takes longer than expected, the billing is off, and the whole process usually takes at least a half hour. My family was in town for vacation and shopping around for the best car price. The staff were super helpful on the phone, giving us various scenarios about what would be cheapest. When we picked up the car, we were out in 10 minutes. The staff was nice and super helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the voltage thing that the GPS Usually needs to run did not work, therefore we could not use a GPS and had to rely on data use from our phones. Very bad experience. We rented a car on July 27,19 in Boston Mass, Prudential office.. After a few miles, we had to return the car as it was defective. We were given another car. I drove a few miles and realized that I left my wallet in the first car; It was never found. I lost all my IDs, Driver's licence and..a lot of money. read more

Don't get me wrong: the staff at this Enterprise office is, as others have said, great. The problem is, YOU CAN'T FIND THIS PLACE. Plug in the address on the Enterprise site and your GPS will have you driving round and round the block, which in Boston traffic can be hazardous to your health. Ironically, I LIVE in Boston and I couldn't find the place without pulling over to call them and say, "Where the F are you guys, anyway?" There is NO Enterprise sign anywhere near where you have to go. I'm pretty shocked that the company would overlook such simple and necessary tools as posting clear directions on their site, giving the correct address, and putting a sign where you have to turn to get into the parking garage. If it's hard for me to find it, living here 15 years, how would an out-of-towner do? HOW TO GET HERE: Drive E on Boylston toward the Boston Common. Turn right on Ring Road (just past Lord & Taylor). Make your 1st right on Huntington. Turn right on Belvedere. You will see a P.F. Chang's. Look for a parking garage entrance labeled SERVICE ENTRANCE B. Turn there. A true hidden gem. No signage at the Prudential center, down the escalator behind Dunkin Dounuts, but worth hunting down. (If you call the nice agents will tell you how to find them) Originally reserved a car at the Hertz counter in the Sheraton, but the agent was so rude and the car was not ready when I reserved it, that we needed a plan B. The hotel concierge called up these guys and I had a car within 20 minutes. Enterprise was such a pleasant surprise. The shop is well staffed with polite agents in professional dress. I was already in their computer system so checking the car was very quick and efficient. Great mid-sized car, great price, great service, and super speedy to get me on my way. When we returned the car at Logan the next day, same superior service. All that and the price was much better than the other guys. Way to go Enterprise, you've earned a loyal customer (and an excellent Yelp review), I'll be back again and again! read more

Living in Boston, I do not need a car. Ok, fine, when I need a car, I can just zip a car for a few hours. OK, what If i need a car for a few days? That is the conundrum I ran into.; I needed a car for a couple of days, and I know I was going to be getting back around 11 PM (or as close to the last T as possible). after looking at several options, I opted for this Enterprise office, mainly because I could pick the car up on Friday afternoon at 5, and return it Monday night at 11:45 PM. The staff was super friendly. I called a couple of times and everyone was very helpful and friendly over the phone. When I arrived, I felt very welcome and got excellent service from Daniel. He patiently explained how the after hours return would work. The car was great, in top shape, and very clean. The location is very convenient as I could walk to Copley and take the outbound B train as I needed, made it by 12:15. It is very lonely at Copley at 12:15 Am. This was a great experience and I hope to do business with them again in the future. read more

Hardest part about this place is finding it since it wasnt on any of the mall maps that I saw. If you are upstairs in the Prudential mall go find the only Dunkin Donuts in the place (this is on the mall map) and then behind the DDs there is an escalator downstairs. Great downtown rental option. Fantastic, professional staff, easy in / out, and lots of selection. I was able to swap out to get an AWD vehicle for our ski trip to Maine no problem. Car was available and was perfect for our needs. Guys even gave me a card w/their location's contact info. There is 24 hr return - dropped the car off, put the keys in the after hours drop, and got an accurate email receipt the next morning. Easy peasy. Great rental experience. I had the most outstanding pizza experience .......got the rental went right up to Chelmsford ....it is just because I run into some guy on the subway who highly recommended their crispy cheese pizza. ....... I looked all over Chelmsford center couldn't find the place....... Out of despair drove straight to the next town .......stopped by the first pizzeria . That was it finally found it. .... Ok. Maybe I was a little hasty and emotional with my last review. Truthfully, the employees here are great. I rented another car this past week and now that I know how to find the place, it went smoothly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes on Monday morning when I picked up. When I dropped off the car this morning, it had a 6" crack in the windshield from a rock on the highway. They dealt with it painlessly and everything was great. I still maintain that it is in a horrible location. Impossible to find the office on the first visit. Impossible to find the car return. No gas stations anywhere close to fill up before dropping off (which often means the car you pick up is several gallons under "full"). But if you know that going in (read my earlier review for clues on how to find it), they are actually great to work with. read more

I've rented a car twice, and both times were really smooth experiences. The guys who work there are super responsive, friendly, accommodating, and quick, which really stood out to me. Also, unlike my experience at the Budget car rental in Back Bay, the first time I rented Enterprise actually started the car for me and drove it out to an easy starting point in the parking lot, which I appreciated as someone who doesn't drive in Boston and gets anxiety from crazy parking lots. Also, the first time I rented a car, my boyfriend actually slightly hit a car in the lot on the way back. However, we had full insurance on everything so it was super easy to figure out/we didn't have to pay anything extra. read more

Why a 2 star? Am I mean? Skipped a meal before going here? Missed my workout? The answer is, no,no,no. I gave this place a 2 star due to the VERY EXPENSIVE pricing. To rent a compact for 2 days and returning it to Logan airport my total cost would be over $200! The explanation was "It is close to 4th of July,well it was the week before so I don't see how the 4th would affect the price. I went on the Web and research other places and went back to these guys and said look, I can rent a car for $40/day vs $70/day at Logan, can you meet the price from your competitors? Their response "Oh we can't meet the lower price as we don't have that many cars". This response was disingenuous. The fact is they prey on unsuspecting visitors who may be in a bind and this place is located in the basement of the towers. I would recommend walking or even catching a Taxi to a different car rental place. A place like this is only useful, if you are desperate. I rented a VW bug(the cool new aggressive styling one) for a total cost of $80 for two days. read more

Booked through Priceline to pick up a car rental at this location (with National Car that this office covers). Website allowed me to book a car at 12pm Sunday, the time it closed. Even if I had booked earlier, the location apparently shut its doors permanently a week earlier. Representative told me I could pick up a car at the airport instead. Terrible communication and no talent for Problem resolution. Everyone you talk to has a different view and story for you. And even the manager on duty seems to care less. Interns are left to themselves and by rude coworkers blamed for the missing training that was obviously never provided in the first place. The crew at the Providence Center Mall location got my paperwork done inside 3-minutes and in my rental car within 10-minutes. I used to use Hertz as they were the most convenient but I now prefer Enterprise as they are usually priced a notch lower and have equal if not superior service. read more

Price was good. We saved a lot of money by returning car to this location rather than the airport (fees there would have added $100-150). However, we NEVER would have found the drop off location if it wasn't for one of the Yelp reviewers. Wow! I shudder to think what we would have done if someone hadn't posted directions. Address is on Boylston but you have to make 3 turns and enter a service entrance under the Prudential Bldg to find rental car location. We returned car after hours so there was no one at the office to answer my call and provide help. I made the reservation about a month before. I thought a small SUV would be good because I was traveling with 4 adult males plus myself. I was advised that it might not be big enough and was told a Chrysler 300 would work best for my needs. When I picked up the car naturally the Chrysler 300 wasn't available and told the Buick Lacrosse would work fine for my needs. I had my doubts and was guided towards a full SUV that would be $20.00 a day extra. I had already discussed with my traveling friends the price and didn't want to pay the extra amount so I stuck with the Lacrosse. We were traveling from Boston to P-Town and it was a very tight squeeze. Very disappointed with the car and the fact they wanted to charge me extra. After some horrible service from Hertz, I called this Enterprise directly, explained that I needed a car ASAP and they told me to walk over and they'd help. Honestly, 15 minutes after my phone call, I drove out of the parking garage (and a good 8 minutes was us trying to figure out if we'd fit in the Accord or the Jeep). Then, the best part was that on Sunday, they closed at 1pm. At 12:55, we were still 15 minutes away. I called and Jose said he would wait for us. Right around the corner from my apartment, I can't tell you how many times this location has come to the rescue. They always greet you with a smile and a handshake and get you on your way as quick as possible. But this morning they went above and beyond. I needed a car to get to Jersey by 1 pm when the Enterprise in Hoboken closes. I knew they opened at 9 am so I showed up at 8:30 in hopes someone would be there. Sure enough, they were and they were nice enough to unlock their doors and accommodate me so I could be on the road half an hour earlier than I expected. Eli helped me and he was simply a pleasure. Great place, WHERE THE HECK IS IT??? If you went to the Belvidere address, you could walk through the long garage opening where the enterprise national signs are and wind thru the garage (not really pedestrian friendly). Or, go into the prudential center, up to the main mall area, all the way across to the where office tower lobby is, and ride nearby the escalators down. Kind of irritated when picking up our car. I called ahead of time a few weeks back to confirm there would be a toddler rear-facing car seat. I came to pick up, they tried to give us a fiat, which couldn't even fit a car seat in the back at all...even though they have a much larger economy car listed online when I reserved. So they charge me extra for the week for the size up...the size I thought I reserved per their website (gave the example of a Kio Rio- which is a 4 door, standard sized coup). Then we were given a messed up INFANT car seat we had to untangle and install. Our son is right at the brink of the weight limit. We were able to fix it after a lot of work (who the hell puts the straps through at opposite levels???). So 40 minutes and extra money later, we are finally in our scuffed up rental. Fun. Don't rent from there if you want what you actually reserved. read more
