    We got a rental and out for GURLZ TRIP. PA, here we come. So far, the car is driving fine, even tho I'm not the driver. We have 20 miles to go before we hit our destination. We do have to drive back, so I don't want to give it it 5*s just yet.

    I rent cars from Enterprise across the U.S.- this is the only location that has me call my credit card company to confirm my out of state address- even after just renting from this exact location a week ago. This location has some questionable billing practices as well- they add to the price quoted on the app- I have platinum reward status and they still make you jump through hoops - the service here is unacceptable... this is the gas gauge at receipt of rental - skip this lication

    Let's begin with their phone etiquette - shockingly rude, zero customer service skills. Their demeanor was so discourteous that a name wasn't even offered.

    Came in with a reservation shortly before closing, the evening before Thanksgiving. They were absolutely slammed, and still tending to each customer with courtesy and kindness. Above and beyond with customer service as far as Im concerned. Full disclosure, the vehicle had a strong cigarette odor, and probably could have used a good detail. But if that was all standing between me and seeing my children/grandchildren on Thanksgiving, I'll take it! wouldn't have wanted them to put the car out of service for that reason. Still, if you are sensitive, it truly was a very strong odor. On the return, again, fast friendly service. Will definitely return when the need arises.

    This is my second time in a few weeks using Enterprise. The last time it took close to an hour to get out of the facility. When I left, I drove a few blocks and immediately returned the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty inside and out and had a bad odor. There were multiple warning lights activated on the dashboard. They exchanged for a vehicle that I had to request washer fluid be added. Today I was scheduled for an 11am pick up. I did the "Ready pass" on line for a quicker transaction. There is a long line of people here that did the same, yet they do not have vehicles for us. I have a tight schedule today with a long drive ahead of me. This is not quality customer service. One hour late with no time frame in sight. Apparently, the website allows us to prepay, register and do the ready pass yet we are told they have no control of not having readily available vehicles. A vehicle came in now that is not what I paid for. They are washing it. I expect the pricing will be adjusted accordingly

Rented car on 22 Dec (rental time is listed as 10:20AM although vehicle not available until 11:00AM). I was confident that I had prepaid but Hertz office said that I had not and I ended up processing a CC transaction (again). While waiting for the car to be prepared, I found the original AMEX transaction AND the booking confirmation email from Hertz stating that it was paid in full. I went back into the office while awaiting the car and I showed him both my AMEX transaction and the Hertz email and asked for a refund. He said that, as his system didn't show the payment, he could not do a refund and I needed to call Hertz HQ. I did and they determined that I has in fact paid twice but they couldn't do a refund and I would need to claim it back from my CC company. It seems to be an odd way to recoup that second payment. I contacted my CC company who told me that they could not proceed with a dispute while the charge was pending. A week later, the pending stopped and the transaction was not processed. It worked out but a) why did the Haarlem Ave office not know that I had prepaid; b) why couldn't he refund the charge when I proved I had paid; c) why did Hertz not refund the charge and expect me to contact my CC company? 2. At around 3:50pm on the very same day, I could not restart the car. Did quite a bit of trouble-shooting for some time but it did not help. I eventually called Hertz roadside assistance. They suggested some things which also didn't work. They put it down to a faulty wire and would need to tow the car. They offered for me to go to the nearest airport and pick up a replacement vehicle or to cancel the contract for a full refund. I opted for the latter. Car picked up at 5:25pm and I received an SMS confirming the car was picked up (and a second SMS later on to confirm that it had arrived in Haarlem Ave). I waited for the refund but called Hertz a week later and asked about it. The response I received online chat was that the refund couldn't be processed until the rental is concluded (was supposed to have been on 6 Jan). Despite my saying that the rental was concluded, I couldn't seem to get any further. Luckily, I kept a copy of the chat. In the meantime, I lodged a request on the Customer Service online on Sun 27 10:57pm. Aside from receiving a Thank you so much for contacting us"" autoreply, Customer Service has not yet responded to that online request (11 Jan)! On 5 Jan, given the long wait for a refund, I lodged claim with the New York Division of Consumer Protection. Alarm bells on 5 Jan when I received an automated email saying that they're looking forward to the return of the car the following day. This time I called the Hertz Roadside assist and quoted the case number. Eventually confirmed that the car had been picked up on 22 Dec (same day as start of rental) but that the office had not scanned the car back in and had not processed a close rental form had not been completed. She put me through to Hertz customer service. After quoting case numbers, etc. she was most apologetic as she could see that the refund should have been processed. She would escalate it and I should receive a refund in 2-24 hours. NO refund. On 7 Jan, an email from Hertz billing asking for a copy of the rental agreement. Not sure I had it any more as on 22 Dec I had understood that the rental had been cancelled but I supplied the confirmation number and the relevant case numbers. Not heard back from them by 11 Jan nor any refund! Is this all poor systems or purposeful? Hard to tell. ********************* 14 Jan: I am updating my review to note two updates: 1. I emailed Hertz CEO last night detailing some further concerns in the "End of rental" docs sent to me yesterday. I will not detail these here to avoid prejudicing any internal or Police investigation. 2. Customer Support emailed me 16 hours ago to state that they ARE providing me with a full refund within 3-7 days. That will mostly bring to a close many of my concerns.

    Rented a car for the first time ever on Monday 8/4 until Tuesday 8/5. Made my reservation online…read morefor 10am and arrived at 10:10am and was out the lot by 10:40am. They took some time to process everything due to people already there waiting ahead of me. The staff was nice and the guy brought the car and had me look at everything. I took a video and photo of the gas and left the lot. I want to say i read everything on the website and related to the reservation. I am a very thorough person and brought my debit card, license and ConEdison bill. Everything went smoothly. The next day when i brought the car back, it was 10:03am. There were a few people coming in and out and they had to move the cars around so i can get in. The guy that took the car back was so nice and so was the woman that inspected the car. She even shook my hand, super professional. She refunded my $300 deposit and told me the charge would be $85. My deposit would be returned in 2-4 business days and i got it back today, 8/7. It only took 2 days, which is great. I really liked the service i received and i already made the next reservation to rent a car from this location at the end of September for 2 days. My only recommendation is for them is for the bathroom to be a bit cleaner. It was a bit dirty but i had to use it after returning the car since i had to take public transportation home. Otherwise, great experience

My rental was very accommodating due to my needs. The car given very nice, clean. I highly recommend this place for your future car rental overall other Enterprise location, I observed this one has better cars, and most better customer service I give them A+.
