This place is a hole in the wall. They claim they offer pick up and drop off to repair facilities. I was told that when I got my rental. Then they made me pay for a cab saying they don't offer that service and they never claimed they did. Then they over charge you for dirty cars that smell like weed. After returning my rental I walked half a block away to hertz rental where they treated me very well and made my experience so much better. I will never return to this location ever again. I really was impress with the way they dress, they look so professional, clean and ready to work. They are on top of their game for sure. I would have given this 5 stars except for the after effects. First the day of my rental, the supervisor arrived 35 minutes late. I had a 9 am reservation. I received my rental a little after 10am. The gentlemen that helped me was very nice and courteous. Almost a month later, I received 4 citation charges from enterprise. The first 2 were for parking near a bus lane in front of their place of business. One was at 10am and the second at 10:05am. Mind you, I did not have the car in. Y possession until after 10am. So car was parked by previous renter. I was told they would look into it. Then I received 2 more citations 3 minutes from each other in 2 very separate locations in the Bronx on a Sunday morning because of a school zone speed. I am not sure what exactly happened, but as a New Yorker, I know traffic laws. Just because I have a lúcrese from another state, doesn't mean I don't know NCY laws. Therefore, I am wondering where the scam was. Needless to say, I am fighting all 4 of them and refuse to pay them. read more

I rent cars pretty frequently usually from the airport and never had an issue. I didn't have to wait long like some of the other reviews but whenI was serviced they didn't have the car i reserved. I reserved a full size car and they didn't have one available and tried to give me something else (jeep wrangler and minivan one of which wasnt clean).... the rep I was working didn't seem to understand my frustration. He tells me that a car should be coming in but he wasn't sure. The manager was able to rectify the situation but they definitely have a limited availability of cars and figure that once you get there you'll be willing to take what they have since you're there already. read more

3/22/18 - Had a reservation booked and confirmed. Contacted the site prior to arriving and was advised to ensure I arrived no later than 5pm, as they close at 6pm. Worth mentioning, I was on hold for 22 minutes prior to speaking to anyone live at the location. Arrived at 5pm and the location was crowded. The location was clearly short-staffed and very disorganized. Nevertheless, confirmed booking details - waited until 6pm, only to be told they had no cars available and I would be driven to another location. I was advised of the change in-plan, right at 6pm. I was not only one, I was driven to another location along with (5) others, as they could not fulfill the reservations for (5) customers waiting. Key points: Lack of order, short-staffed, no regard for customer's time, and dirty location. All in all, arrived 5pm and was not in a rental until after 7pm at an alternate location. We were there for awhile, my sister trying to decide which rental would be better for her (she would have to pay out of pocket if she upgraded). My car was vandalized on Sunday so I brought it in Monday to have it fixed. Enterprise rental was onsite and my insurance had set up a reservation for a standard car for my rental, included in my coverage. I waited almost an hour for the representative to show up. The car place and my insurance reps kept apologizing for enterprise rep being late and nowhere to be found. The rep shows up and set up my car. She had me sign papers without explaining anything except her insurance pitch. We went outside to show me the car. As I was about to drive off, she mentions that I would be responsible for the daily price difference in the car. I immediately stopped her and said what? Turns out she disregarded my standard reservation and gave me a more expensive car, not covered by my insurance. She just neglected to tell me until I was ready to drive off. I went back inside and called my insurance company and they talked to her and all of a sudden she decided to charge me the correct rate. I called her supervisor and he apologized for her deceptive tactics. This is just such poor customer service. And the car was dirty when I got inside of it. The rep had supposedly taken it to be washed that morning which is why she was missing, but there was food in backseat. Who knows what she was off doing on company time? Today I got a voicemail from enterprise to follow up with me and close out my rental ad get my feedback on the experience. I called back after work before 6 to give my feedback. The rep who answered said she couldn't hear me. I hung up and called right back, seconds later. No one answered and I was put on hold waiting for someone to answer, listening to their on hold music. I waited on hold for 5 minutes and then right at 6pm a recording came on the line and said the location was closed and to call back at another time, after I waited on hold. My whole experience with Enterprise has be a disappointment. I have heard wonderful things about their leadership training and management programs, but this location is just a total fail from start to finish. I wish my insurance company partnered with a better rental car company. I will not be using them in the future. read more

I recently rented a full size car to go on a family trip. Upon walking into this establishment I was warmly greeted an acknowledged by the manager Andy. It was extremely refreshing to be greeted and acknowledged as soon as I stepped in the door. The staff is very willing to assist and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Also rentals are clean and affordable. I would also like to once again acknowledge and extend my appreciation to the manager Mr. Andy. He puts great effort into showing customer appreciation. Andy's professionalism shows that he appreciates your patronage. My only disappointment is the wait time with getting your vehicle. I reserved my rental, however it took an hour to get the vehicle. Mr. Andy apologized and advised me he was currently short staffed. So please hire more workers and make this process a bit more timely. I give this business 2 thumbs up, but again please correct the issue with the wait time in getting us into our reserved vehicles in a more timely manner! read more

I have never used enterprise before and if this location is any indication of your company and their standards, I'm sold! The customer service here on Sunday 10/27/19 was absolutely impeccable! The three men who worked that day were absolutely amazing, full of character and the upmost professionalism. I was inconvenienced when a cargo van I reserved was not available and these men could not have been more level headed, more calm, the most polite and just the epitome of professionalism. I was sitting there for awhile but it wasn't any kind of discomfort as their impecable tact and just down right empathetic nature made me forget I was amongst people I had just met and this infect was a business transaction. Whatever it is that these three men love about their job IT SHOWS! I really do believe their customer service is above and beyond! They completely made the most awkward situation for both parties in to an amazing and topnotch customer experience. I needed a car while my mine was in the Auto Body shop. I ended up needing the car for three weeks! This enterprise made things so easy for me. They worked with me on the deposit, made it clear how much my insurance would cover, and had me in a car quickly! There are such great people working in this office. My first experience with Enterprise on Eastchester Road was a disappointing one. I am a first time driver and went to pick up my rental with my permit and my temporary driver's slip that was given to me at my road test. The slip clearly states it serves as my temporary driver's license. At pickup I was told that Enterprise does not allow the temporary slip as a temporary license. I advised the representative that the DMV advised I could use it as a temporary and that I rented a car with Hertz a few days earlier with out issues. The representative advised that it is their policy not to use the temporary slip. I was so annoyed and frustrated. I went home and called Enterprise and was told it was the branch's policy and not Enterprise's policy. I could not understand how another rental company allowed it. Even Carvana allowed me to buy my car with it. The State of New York is allowing me to drive but Enterprise didn't. It's fair to say I will never rent a car from this location again nor will I recommend them. read more

I've used Enterprise several times in the past but not in the last two years. While on vacation I decided to rent for a few days and I was given a Maxima which I was totally thrilled with; I have been leasing Altimas for the last 12 years and I thought the Maxima would definitely be an upgrade. Well outside of the car's acceleration ability and sunroof, the Maxima was not impressive at all. I am a music affectionado and my "standard" Altima allows me to play my music via bluetooth from my cell phone: the Maxima did not. It only allowed you to connect for phone calls. We drove out to PA from the Bronx, struggling to find some music on the radio. Isn't the Maxima supposed to be an upgrade from an Altima? However, my biggest pet peeve was the almost 20% sales tax on the car. Really people? read more

Recently went to rent a van for business purposes and upon walking in to the location I was warmly greeted by the assistant manager Luis and Branch Manager Joe (even though they both had 5 customers in front of them at the time). I patiently waited for my turn and once I was up I was escorted to my van by the gentleman by the name of Roy, very professional individual. First of all, Rebecca should not be allowed to answer calls on the office's behalf. She is short, terse, and lacks professionalism. The rest of the staff is nice enough and always poised with a friendly approach to their clients. Another issue is the number of cars they rent versus the fleet of cars they have access to. Its either this or that or no option to choose from at all. I too, have rented and the cars were not up to par. But the staff has always been accommodating and given me resolve to any issue I present. I rent a few (3-5) times a years, mostly for business. It is convenient to my home location and will probably use them again. However, if I see that professionalism does not improve, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

This place is an absolute joke. I came here through Geico to get a rental while my car was getting repaired. I waited 30 mins before I could check in. When I finally check in the girl behind the counter had the biggest attitude as if she was the one waiting for 30 mins. But wait it only gets better from here. After check in I wait a whole 2 hours before someone calls me to go check out the car. I get to the car & the guy tells me "so this is the car but it needs an oil change so you can come with me down the block we'll get it changed and you'll be all set" After I waited 2 hours!!!!!!! I left there without a car & was late to work as a result. Later that day a gentleman by the name of Joe calls me to see if I would give them a second chance. And promised to waive any fees out of pocket and that I can go pick up my car at the White Plains location the next day. Next day comes around and they tell me I have to pay $20 a day and that there's no way to waive this fee. Againnnn this place is a joke & the customer service here needs some serious training. I've used enterprise so many times and never had this kind of experience in any of the states I've used them. Long story short , dont ruin your WEEK by coming here. The car was great and everything went well transaction-wise with Enterprise, and the customer service was fine. But - we had to wait about an hour (even with a reservation) to get our car, and even then we had to wait a bit longer to get the car washed - why they didn't have a car already washed is beyond me, but at least washing only took around 10 minutes. Maybe this is how they always are on Saturday mornings, and other mornings are better? Regardless, we were very disappointed with the long wait. read more

"The Enterprise Way"? i hope my experience yesterday isnt typical. i rented a car for a week because my beloved Infiniti QX4 is now dangerous to drive. i was given a Hyundai Veloster. i drove it for 2 days and while on the way to the Post Office a few miles from my home i got a flat tire. This car has NO SPARE- just some weird patch kit and an air compressor. im paying to rent the car not a mechanic fixing it. i also found out that you have no roadside service. Its a 3rd party company who could care less about YOUR customers like ME. i was disconnected 4 times until i finally called my own AAA and they couldnt fix this tire the way it was leaking(near the rim) so i was given a ride to the office i rented the car from and they were closed but i could see Jason in there as another woman came to the door to tell me there was no one who could help me. After flashing the keys to the dead car and saying "i just left one of your cars parked with a flat- here are the keys" Then they let me in. i was scolded like a child because i didnt wait with the vehicle--- 190minutes i was told. i dont even know how long that is without doing the math but for a company who's motto is WE PICK YOU UP- should be changed to WHEN WE GET THERE. So reluctantly i was given another car and "ordered" to return to the other car to leave the keys under the mat so it could be towed. i agreed...went back to the car and hahahahahaha- NO MAT! i hope the front seat did the trick. Then because of the time, 7pm the car was towed from the Bronx NY all the way to JFK Airport in Queens because thats the only office open at that time. i still have the 2nd car and hope will have an uneventful duration of my rental. An adjustment to my bill would be nice too. Also i just heard you have a $9.99 per day special going on this weekend while i have the car but was not told about it. i hope it will be reflected in my final charges. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful. On the increasing frequency of renting there I enjoy excellent service. I do wish cars could be available immediately upon arrival instead of waiting. The wait can be 10 minutes or 1 hour. Also, if they are open late and on Sunday that would be a big plus. All said and done I am very pleased. read more

I've been renting from this location 2 to 3 days a week for about 6 months now. I have absolutely no complaints as far as customer service is concerned. No matter whom I get they are nothing but courteous and professional. My only complaint is that sometimes the wait time for a car can be long even with a reservation. However, this seems to be a pretty busy location and you can't really blame the employees if a customer decides to keep a car longer than their original reserved time. But I have tried different locations and I like this one the best when it comes to the overall quality of service. read more

Awful would be the best way to describe my experience renting at this Enterprise rent a car. I had to rent the car for a month and the smell was absolutely horrific a combination of smoke and like someone had stepped in dog stuff. On top of that the rate was ridiculous and when I questioned it the gentleman behind the counter told me I was getting a deal since the car typically rented from $140-$160 / day. What he didn't know is I travel for business and rented over 120 days last year from Avis and that price is inflated BS to try and justify the price. I would NEVER rent from this place and since they didn't give a damn about the smell I wouldn't trust going to any Enterprise. read more

My experience with this car center has been great. I've been here in two different occasions, and find the employees to be very friendly, courteous and professional. They're all great, but I can't seam to get Mr Andy's pleasant personality out of my mind. As an administrator, he just simply knows how to keep the flow going, even when it gets a little busy, he is able to find the right words to let customers feel welcome. After a painful 2 hour wait for a car, they try to give me a corolla when I reserved a full size car...and never said a word - did they think I wouldn't notice? When I tell them I reserved a full size, they said they don't have any and I would have to wait for a full size to come in from another location (this was after the two hour wait). When I asked why this wasn't told to me when I first got there, the manager Andi Gamboa, had no answer just apologies. Then I pointed out a standard size Chrysler 200 in the lot and asked for that, he gave it to me. Why that wasn't offered in the first place-who knows...but the better question is why allow me to make a reservation for a full size car if you don't have one? And if you don't have one, really I should get a free upgrade, not a 2 level downgrade. The Chrysler was filthy, which I had to point out to him, so they supposedly cleaned it and that consisted of splashing some water on it and vacuuming. It was still pretty dirty, but after 2 hours of waiting, I had to just take it to get out of there. The engine sounded awful while driving - definitely needed a tune up, one tire had a slow leak, and the wiper fluid ran out on the second day. Everyone was frustrated at the long wait and the slow service. To make matters worse, they really, really took their time. You could see the reps in the lot talking, laughing, walking slowly - while there is a room full of people waiting. The only one who was efficient and polite was the check in person, Jayson. He checked everyone in quickly, but the rest of the staff, including the manager, were dragging their asses. Never, never, never again. If I could give this place negative stars I would. read more
