Enterprise Car Rental is a bad company. They rented me a car at BWI which I drove to graduation and parties in Chicago. Now I sit her since 9am because the car battery died and after numerous calls have yet to hear them about a replacement car after calling numerous times and being told a regional manager was working my case I am still waiting on a call, uber, and a replacement rental car. As I sit and wait for God knows how long, I have to ask why Enterprise are you treating me and my wife this way! read more

This is one of the worst Enterprises I have ever done business with. They repeatedly are apologetic because their business practices is so inept. They give you cars that smell of weed, oftentimes are not washed, and even have hubcaps missing. You pay good money for clown cars. When you call and reserve a car a day or two earlier then arrive there what they have for you is a joke then they tell you that's all they have in their inventory. If so, why did you take the reservation in the first place and if I reserved it, what I did reserve should have been there as contracted and not some subpar clown car. Their vehicles look like they get them from Rent A Wreck or tow yard. Again, they apologize, fetch the manager who provides you half-back reassurances and promises, and when you rent again they rinse and repeat the same thing again. Nothing changes. You try to support the one in your community as it provides jobs but this is ridiculous. They are terrible and should close this location altogether. No reopening under different management. Just close it. In fact, the management before the current one (as I've been coming her for years) was no different. The quality of service and vehicles are a joke, again clown cars, but taking my money isn't funny. It's real money for expected reciprocal quality service and it's not high expectations either just standard as they should provide the quality service you deserve as a paying customer. That is not too much to ask at all. And those providing 5 stars are either friends, family, or delusional as they barely get one star and sure in the hell shouldn't get five. read more

Do not waste your time coming to the Auburn Gresham location at 1820 W. 87th st. The vehicle selection and customer service here is terrible. I called ahead of time to reserve a vehicle based on the size I selected online and they told me it was "first come, first serve." When I got here, they kept telling me the vehicle were "reserved," and I would have to take a rundown pickup truck. The obese customer service agent at the desk told me she would take it. Well, my size doesn't require me to have to ride in a pick up truck bed. I paid for my reservation and want the vehicle type I chose. This is egregious. I contacted their customer support line and didn't get much help there either. I will never come here again and high suggest you don't either. Take the extra ride to oak lawn. Unshoveled and unplowed snow on Saturday caused more than a few problems for many. After my shift ended around 8:30 there was about four inches of snow on the employee access road. And, it was still coming down. I slid into a concrete wall. The sensors in my car deployed front and back curtain airbags as well as driver seat airbags that I didn't even know I had. Seatbelt bruise across my chest and the left side of my face from hitting the window. Needless to say, I NEEDED to rent a car. I had a 1:00 appointment at Enterprise. Upon arriving my vehicle was not there. I was a bit early though. Throughout the entire process, the employees did a really good job of communicating each step with me. I have to come and give this entire staff a excellent review. I rented this truck to take a road trip from Chicago to West Des Moines , Iowa.y reservation was for 12pm.I work from home and don't live far. When I arrived there was a 30 minute delay total. Reason being, a lot of cars were gone due to parents taking their kids back to school. The first person I encountered was Bobby, bubbly personality, offered water and kept apologizing. Due to my inconvenience in waiting they upgraded my car to a suv! I was impressed. Once on the road I discovered a odor from inside the truck. Once I returned I told the young lady that helped me ( please forgive me but I didn't get her name) apologized for the smell and took $$ off my bill! I did not expect any of what I got throughout my experience there. I don't rent cars often as I have a car , but when I do I will definitely return! Good job guys!! read more

Rented a vehicle on Dec 4th, a bit of a wait, but its expected since many people were waiting to get the car rented or turned in. Daryl Payne Jr helped us out a lot and was very customer-oriented, friendly, and engaged in conversation with us while assuring the details of the vehicle, and the time it took to be ready, and even went though a showing of how to use it, assured the cleanliness of it and how efficient it is. Darly is a great customer service person and assures you he will answer your needs whenever. It's good to have a person who listens and is friendly while accommodating you during a bit of a wait. The car was well functioning, the only thing was that the left front wheel needed air compressed into it. Either then that, it's great on gas. read more

I live in the "middle" of two Enterprise stores, this was the first time that I was sent to this one on 87th Street. Despite being a busy Monday morning with many people renting due to accidents, the staff at this location kept their cool and worked swiftly to get everyone in their cars and one their way promptly. They were greeting everyone that came in through the door and making sure everyone was being helped. They picked me up at the auto repair shop and took me back once I returned the rental. The MANAGER was even WASHING cars! I been to other locations where I see the manager just sit there and let their employees struggle. The car that was assigned to me was CLEAN and smelled FRESH! Antonio (Branch Manager), Chi (Assistant Manager), and Bobby (CSR) are the best! Their customer service etiquette is on point, A+! They need to be cloned and sent out to other Enterprise Locations. I highly recommend this location. I will definitely be back for any future rentals. read more

I've had 2 recent experiences with the Enterprise in Gresham neighborhood and both times were fulfilling and welcoming. From Darryl calling to setup my appointment to retrieving my rental; everything was amazing. I utilized the free customer pickup service and the driver was very prompt and polite. Upon entering the location, I was greeted and assisted by Santino. He was very clear and knowledgeable about my out of pocket cost and overall rental agreement. The rental was available at the time of my appointment; clean with the gas tank filled. There was minimal wait time. I really love the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at this location. My interactions were with Darryl and Santino and they were both amazing. When returning my rental (after 17 days) they greeted and remembered me by name; Major points :) I also needed a ride back home from dropping off my rental and of course, they were of great assistance. I'll definitely refer and recommend renting from the Enterprise in Gresham neighborhood. Due to the warm, friendly and prompt service they give their customers. 5 Star rating in my book. read more

It started making a noise so I immediately call enterprise told the person the car was making noise . These fools told me to wait because they had some returns coming in but never called back. Wasted my time, when I was asked if I needed a dropoff, told me it would be a few minutes, then told me that it would be a delay, but not by how much, had me sitting there with no ETA, and when I asked the counter lady how long it would take she didn't give specifics, but told me "I can go take the bus if that's what I wanted to do." This was my first time at this location sine the one on 96th and Western closed. They always had better rates than this location. Typical Saturday morning wait, they advised me to come earlier than my scheduled time because my noon pickup would be hectic. I arrived at 11 and waited about 20-30 minutes to be seen only because there was an irate customer from Dodge hooping, hollering and using profanity. But as soon as I was seen it was a speedy process. The car I received was roomy, modern and clean. The return process was Speedy on the following Monday. The African-American woman was friendly. I got a half tank credit for putting to much gas in the tank. Overall, I would definitely rent from this location again. read more

My company made reservations for me at Enterprise Car Rental on 9/20/17 and emailed me confirmation at 1:45 PM; for me to pick up a car Saturday 9/20/17 at 12 PM. I went to enterprise Saturday 9/23/17 at 9 AM. Assistant manager said that i had a reservation between 12 PM and 2 PM. Also that she did not have any cars. She said that she would call me back when she got a car. Asst. manger never called me back. I called Enterprise at 11 AM on 9/23/17. An associate answered and told me that the office closes at 12 PM. I needed the car to get to work on Monday. The assistant manager promised me that she would get a car for me. She did not call and I had to go to another location for a car at the last minute. I talked with the area manager and she was apolagetic. The regional manager called me but I was at work and unable to talk with him. read more

Went to Enterprise in Forest Park,Illinois, Tried to return it for one that had no problem. A young lady said there wasn't another vehicle Available. Hello, my personal vehicle was involved in a car accident on 4/8 and my insurance told me that I may rent a car via enterprise. On Friday 4/9 I called enterprise to reserve a car but they related that they were sold out and that I may make a reservation and come the next day 4/10. I made a reservation and received a phone call from a Tory in the morning who related they had a car (Toyota, Camry) available but it was first come first some. We rushed to the rental location in which we were told the car was still available but once we told Tory it was a insurance claim rental his demeanor changed and related he had to ask the Manager if we could rent the car. The manager related we could not get the car and that we must be added to the waitlist because they only had a couple cars available and wanted to save those cars for other reservations. I explained that I called yesterday and was told to make a reservation and come in the morning as well as Tory had called 15 mins prior and told us the car was available and to come in. I explained to the manager all the details but he still related he could not accommodate us regardless of the efforts and circumstances. I am giving feedback because I feel we were not prioritized because it was an insurance claim. I was given instructions and followed them and was also told by an enterprise employee that vehicles are fist come first served so I came early but I was denied a vehicle. I will also reach out to my insurance company to let them know how enterprise treats it's customers in there most vulnerable times. read more

The staff is friendly, efficient and professional, and they do their best to get you in and out quickly. After trying unsuccessfully to rent a car at two other locations on the Memorial Day weekend, I found my choice of cars here. The young lady who waited on me was so nice, when I needed another rental, I went back and she recognized me and remembered my name! We usually always end up with an Elantra for the category we choose for some reason. The issue I have are the rates (pricey) and the availability of vehicles in a particular category. Horrible customer service! I reserved a car 3 weeks ago for the weekend. 1 hour before the pickup time someone calls me to tell me they don't have any cars available. They will not have any cars until after 3pm. They tell me I can call around to try to locate another car. They tell me that if I find a car at another location they will honor the original price. I couldn't find a car close to me (south side of Chicago) so I found one downtown Chicago. They would not honor the original price. I ended up paying almost double for a vehicle that I had reserved for a much cheaper price because of something that was out of my control. Also someone contacted me on FB and Twitter saying they was going to call me to assist. I never received any assistance. Horrible 1st experience with this company read more
