Recently we had a snowstorm and I pulled out my snow blower(that I had not used yet but had bought the year before) and it didn't throw snow or go in reverse. I called Rental Zone which is an authorized Cub Cadet service center. I had originally purchased the Snow Blower from Tractor Supply and it seems that they forgot to put the shear pin in and the cables were not adjusted correctly. The last thing you want when you turn on your snowblower is for it not to work and you have to shovel your driveway by hand. I will say I did learn a good lesson here, buy your machines from an authorized dealer rather than the big box stores and you will get better service and it will be put together professionally. We were able to track the location of the car via app and knew exactly where the driver was at all times. The vehicle was a shiny black Cadillac XT6 and the driver was dressed in a dark suit (and wore white gloves! I can't think of many car service drivers that present at that level in this day and age outside of the major urban areas). High touch services continued during our ride. You want wifi? You got it. Would you prefer still or sparkling water? A fragrance-free environment. It felt like a mini spa treatment in a car as our driver calmly and competently slogged (if that's possible) through a nasty accident-induced traffic jam AND a torrential storm that flooded the highway while we dozed off and caught up on emails. For starters, the inspection EXPIRED in May (I rented it mid-July). The radio signal was no good most of the time. Every warning light where the speedometer is located sporadically went on. The tires needing air icon was on most of the time. And the car did not smell good either. Since I only had to pay approximately $6 per day I didn't return it. If I was paying for it completely out of pocket I would have brought it back immediately.

We went back and forth for a while and I told him that I rented from this location in the past and he said he "couldn't find me" when he searched name in their system. I showed him the receipt I had on my phone to his face and all he did was say "huh, well I can't do anything". Honestly felt like he was doing everything in his power to not rent me a car. Driver was friendly and safe and got us there on-time, but it was NOT a Cadillac XTS, instead it was a minivan. Again, not a big deal, but not what I pre-booked.
