Car broke down on me. Rented the car Friday afternoon and it took me to Orlando and back home, but broke down on me the next day... now I am stuck dealing with roadside. The First Lady hung up on me which I thought was very unprofessional. I called again and a different lady responded. She was much more grounded and respectful thankfully. They told me that they are sending someone to help me, but it was some scary stuff because why would you allow someone to rent out a car that could potentially break down. Anyways, I hope that I'm able to get someone to give me a refund or some type of compensation because this was scary for real. Also it seemed like the young woman was new to the job and she was the only one assisting people with cars. I do remember her going on and taking the car for a spin, but the car looked pretty small. It was a Mitibushi Mira. I'm wasn't sure of the model or year number since they didn't tell me. I knew I should've turned down the car but the other, but it was already late and I needed to head out soon. I expected better. Very unprofessional!! Don't use this rental location!! made a reservation 2 months in advance for a min van to take my daughter up to her college . The week of the reservation they called to confirm that indeed we wanted only a mini van which we did and confirmed. On the day of reservation we called a head of time to notify we will be a few minutes late and they then informed us they have no mini van for us and they have nothing to do or any way to resolve this situation... left us stranded on a very busy weekend.. Do not do business with this company. They are criminals. I was told 10 days after my car was not being covered by my insurance through enterprise that I then had a balance of $400. With no notification from them or my insurance. Whenever I return my car, the agent said no worries ma'am we're gonna figure out what happened and why you didn't get any messages or phone calls, my manager Francisco is out of town and he will call you to resolve this when he gets back. A week and a half later, I never got a phone call from Francisco and they charged my account anyways without my authorization or approval. Then Francisco lied and said that he had called me back and when I told him that I would check my phone records through my phone company. He changed his story. He refused to help me refuse to resolve the issue and told me tough luck. They stole from me. I will be pursuing legal action do not do business with this place. read more

2/28/2017 - Rented a car online through my work's discount. The day of, I called for pickup at my house. Larry answered the phone at 8:58am and I told him I needed pick up, he said his first available pick up was between 10am and 11am. It was 11:05am and still no pickup. I called Larry to check on the status of the car. He said his driver would be here in 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes John called me and was waiting for me downstairs in a van. John was very friendly and we talked about the company and how great it was to their employees and their career advancement. I thought he was my driver but he ended up taking care of the whole process. He checked me in, took my payment, and handed me the keys to a 2017 Hyndai Sonata. I would give this experience a 5 Star rating but the fact that they were not punctual really turned me off. This branch is literally 10 minutes from my house....with traffic. So far my experience with this Enterprise location has been fabulous. I needed a long term car rental. The rental arrangements were taken care of by my company on a Friday for a Monday pickup. On Monday morning I called to confirm the pickup and asked if it would be okay if I would be later than the arranged time. They said no problem and still had my vehicle available when I got there later than I said I would. When I went to pick up the car, the customer service could not have been better. All of the staff members were extremely polite and friendly. I was provided with an upgrade without even asking. A staff member even called a couple of days later called a couple of days later to make sure everything was satisfactory. I have been enjoying my rental for several weeks without issue. The only feedback I have is it would be nice if the cars came with the option of a Sunpass as with some other rentals I have had. read more

He proceeded to tell me the reservation was made and will take about to 10 min to prepare the car. I then met Mya who handled the paperwork. I've been trying to get a rental from this location for over a week. Was told I was put on a list since the first time I called. Have spoken to someone almost every day since and they never have cars available. I finally came in today in person and there were three cars available but when I mentioned that I had to swap the car from my current rental all of a sudden they weren't available. The lady that works there said there were three people put on a list from the day before that had to get cars before me (the famous list I was put on over a week ago). The lady admitted she's spoken to me before and disregarded that saying that I am better off going to the original location I got the car from. My son and I visited this location to rent a car. Not only was the service bad but the Manager was so rude!! He didn't have the car there we were going to rent so he wanted us to wait and be shuttled to another location... Luggage and all. When I asked if we could just rent a car he had there he said that would be an upgrade and I'm not doing that. Rude!! Considering he just upgraded the person in front of me for free. He refused to give us a receipt saying (we want to Void our rental ) after asking him several times he finally conceded. The biggest insult was when he told me & my son to get out of his store!! Great customer service!! Super friendly staff. They picked me up and had me in a car in under 30 minutes. Was the fastest and easiest part if being in an accident. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because the car was very dusty and you can tell it hadn't been cleaned well. There was also a weird post smoker smell to it. This place sucks. The only good employee is the assistant manager. Dan maliciously never returned our deposit out of spite because we complained about it. Corporate lied to me also when they were emailing me saying we got it back when we didn't. All of this going on in the middle of a 3400 mile move across country. This place is 1 minute from my house and I will go the extra 5 miles for the better service at a different Enterprise. The manager (Reggie?) Is very unwilling to help. He does not give straight answers so I'm constantly confused. I've went here twice because of convenience, but after today I will definitely not be back. The Enterprise on south University is AMAZING and got me a car in the knick of time. Even when Reggie had told me that "no other Enterprises have cars or else they would've been sent here." Can't believe I am reading negative reviews for this Enterprise location---I had nothing but great service. I visited this storefront personally, seeking a smooth ride for our first road trip in years (we generally fly, rent a car once there); and with me, I brought a list of models I favored based on reviews. As our rental time approached, Larry called me with a choice of 3 of my top 3 favorites, and he kindly agreed to drive to another site in order to secure the Ford Edge I chose which was not on his lot. Our drive to Charleston and Kiawah Island was absolutely the most pleasant it could be, due in part to the wonderful help from this rental center. Yes, there was a bit of a wait when picking up and dropping off, but the care and kindness given us was well worth that waiting. We always have a book to read wherever we go, so if there is a wait, we get to read. I personally think we have come to expect impossible speed with which we receive service. On the Tuesday before Hurricane Irma struck, I reserved an SUV with this Enterprise location for pick up on Thursday so I would have it to drive for my job after the storm. On Thursday morning, three days before the storm arrived, I showed up at the office and it was closed for the duration. The only note on the door said that if you dropped off a car and it was damaged by the storm, that was on you. I had not been texted, emailed or called to warn me that the location was closing and that I would need to pick up the SUV early. I tried to call Enterprise's national number, but I kept getting put on hold for several minutes and then disconnected. Only when I bitched on Twitter did I get a response, which was vague and unhelpful. Enterprise's actions left me scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute. My husband and I arrived at the Davie location. We were greeted by a female employee at the counter. She asked may I help you, I said yes, we have a reservation for a minivan. She said sorry, we don't have any minivans. I told her Enterprise confirmed the day before and said they'd have it ready. She said, smugly, well, we don't have any minivans. We asked to speak to the manager, Daniel Rosas. He said they sold out of minivans, but could give us a mini SUV. The SUV is too small as we have too many passengers with lots of luggage. Then he said if you're willing to drive to another lot, I can get you a minivan. We agreed. He took my driver's license and credit card, then told me, unfortunately there are no minivans at that lot. I asked how they could confirm a reservation less than 24 hours prior to delivery, and then, not notify us that there was a problem. They acted as though it was beyond their control and it was our problem to fix. In my opinion, although the location is convenient, don't rent from Enterprise. Go to the airport and rent from a reliable rental car company. It will save you time and aggravation. read more

I have been renting cars from this location for many years, since I live around the corner. Things at this specific location have hit rock bottom. Personnel changes every few weeks, and the current manager needs to take a few classes on customer service. Down right rude, "I am the boss" attitude, and hasn't a clue of how to promote "return business", or "customer satisfaction". Do yourself a favor..... Avoid this office to avoid major headaches with your rental. Hertz is close by in Pembroke Pines, Avis is down the street, but.... Avoid this rental location. Was visiting from Tennessee and I'm 24 and I thought you had to be atleast 25 to rent a car but that's not true. They just put you in different bracket. My oh my was it easy!
