No star - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Rental car lacked maintenance- attempted to swap car at Fayettevill GA location after experiencing a horrible ride from Eustis FL to GA. Was advised could take car and change only to drive the poor running car to Fayetteville GA and upon arrival told there are no cars available. Agent suggested we go to airport. I asked if he could assure there was availability at the airport. He couldn't. I Contacted airport location and was advised no availability. Driving car back to FL and tire went out. Roadside assistance advised Enterprise closest to us closed and could possibly get us towed in 4-5 hrs as we were on the side on the busy Interatate 75. I have given out many five star reviews here on Yelp!, but this may be the first time I have said that our experience was perfect. Really. To begin with, this is the only major car rental place in Eustis. Convenient. Our vehicles are too old and unreliable for a long trip, so I checked my auto insurance and found my coverage would be the same, just as if we were driving our own vehicle. Cool. The insurance website further said that even if our vehicle was newer, it is cheaper to rent when you figure the cost of wear and tear on your own car. So on a Thursday I reserved an economy car and we went to pick it up Friday. (The closest I can come to a criticism is that they are only open until noon on Saturday and not at all Sunday.) When we went to pick it up, they offered a free upgrade to a Toyota Sienna. Lower gas mileage, but a stronger engine for hills and more storage space for a long trip. Unlimited mileage, and $400 for over two weeks seemed very reasonable. And she didn't try at all to upsell extra insurance or other options. We loved the Sienna to the point we will look into buying one when we are ready. A service light came on, and when I looked it up it said an oil change was needed. I called and he checked their records and saw the oil had recently been changed. They must have forgot to reset it. We were fine. We had it for over two weeks and then returned it. The same woman handled the return and seemed to remember us. We asked about their process of releasing their vehicles for sale and she said when we were ready to start looking to buy, we could talk to to someone on their sales team. The entire process was so smooth and satisfying, I am sure we will be using Enterprise again, probably even for shorter trips. read more

Enterprise is my go to when renting a car. What really sets them apart is the customer service. They are so friendly, you're in and out in just a few minutes. And the pricing is straight up and hassle free. The only complaint I do have is the business hours at my local rental centers. They are closed on Sunday's and only open until noon on saturdays. So when I want to make changes to my rental it's a little difficult. HOWEVER, because of the hours, I wasn't able to extend my last rental that ended at noon on Saturday but needed the car TIL Monday. I gave them a call first thing Monday morning and let them know I still had the car and would be bringing it Monday afternoon. It was no issue. I was still locked in with the same fair rate, and brought the car back, no questions asked. For a hassle free car rental experience, and superior customer service, I'd highly recommend going with Enterprise! read more

I was impressed with the professionalism I experienced with Jason and other staff. I was in a wreck and was having to rent a car for over a month. The insurance companies made things very difficult but enterprise was always helpful and helped me when I had to return the car and get the insurance company to pay. It was a very stressful experience but Jason was there to help me and spent over an hour helping me battle with an unhelpful insurance agent. Jason never lost his cool and I was very impressed with how professional and calm he was through the whole ordeal. Staff was superb. The car planned for me came in damaged so they gave me a great upgrade. They took time to explain the controls in the car and made sure I was OK with my choice. At the return end, I needed a ride home and they were happy to accommodate me. Had a minor problem with the vehicle during the rental - suspect it was a blown fuse. They gave me an adjustment for the car problem. Can't say enough good things about the Mt Dora location - those guys are great. read more

I was visited my friend who live in Mount Dora also I stayed overnights there and I made a car rental reservation by online then one week later , I came in and wait few min for customer service and I told him about a car rental reservation by online and I gave my driver lic. and credit card to him and he did set up fast time also gave me free upgrade model and we checked up around the body car before I signed up and gave him a hand shake and drove away and I had no palm with a rental car for one week and I returned a rental car to same place and came in and gave a key and he checked up by computer then checked up around the car body and no damage and signed up and got a reception then hop in my friend's car ... there are no hassle at all ... running smooth process fast instead of waiting long ... Been a big fan of Enterprise for a long time, but this was the worst car rental experience I have ever encountered. My car was at the local Hyundai dealership for a warranty issue and they took care of the rental cost, but the car that I was suppose to get was mid-size and that was the problem. All Enterprise offered me was a compact Ford, 30,000 miles, numerous dings, worn out tires, filthy interior and unwashed exterior. However, the worst part...the interior smelled like someone had crapped in their pants and odor permeated into the seats. Enterprise refuse to give me a different car without paying for an upgrade. Unfortunately the driver from the Hyundai dealership had left and my wife and I were stuck! We had to be someplace and we needed transportation, so reluctantly we accepted the car "as is." Shortly after we left Rent-A-Wreck, I mean Enterprise, it starts to rain! I'm on the tollway and the car starts slipping because of the low tread on the tires. I've been an Enterprise customer for many years and especially appreciate that they have offices usually near where I live when I have to rent locally for business. I have to say that this Enterprise Office in Mount Dora is one of the most unprofessional and unmanaged ones I have ever experienced. I've rented there 3 times now and each time the staff was more interested in talking to each other than being efficient in taking care of the customer. The most recent time was this week where it was like the blind leading the blind with the 2 service staff trying to figure out how to work the reservation system, talking to each other and generally acting like a couple of high school jokers while there was a whole room of people trying to get going to where they needed to be (including me). This is not what Enterprise is typically about everywhere else. This store in Mount Dora is obviously in need of some management oversight. read more
