We reserved a car in advance. Originally had a 12 noon pick up. They called the morning of and asked us to come 3 hours later since they didn't have the model we wanted. We accommodated but they still didn't have the car when we arrived. Also we were on a 35 minute hold with them prior to arrival. They never picked up the call ultimately. When we asked if we could change the reservation to something else available in the lot, we were told NO. Unacceptable treat a customer this way. Don't use this place. It's better just to go to the airport for better availability. read more

I showed up today to pick up my "Premium Specialty" car rental @ noon which on the Enterprise website as well as my reservation confirmation is classified as an "AUDI A3 OR BMW 2 SERIES GRAN COUPE or similar". Instead, I was asked to choose from a 4 door pick up truck, a Nissan Rogue or a Toyota Highlander. After being pretty annoyed, I was than offered a Nissan Altima. I'm a bit unsure what the point was in making my reservation way back on June 20th if what I reserved was going to be unavailable "due to the holiday weekend"!. The response I got was, "we called you yesterday to confirm your reservation". To which I replied - "I was on a flight which landed late, well after closing". AGAIN, what is the point in making a reservation! This is the same location mind you, when my rental got a flat tire - I was told to take it to Firestone so they could fix it for me for free. Could have been a better experience! I'm a bit surprised with my recent experience as I usually have good ones. They told me that eventhough I got my rental covered through insurance I would still be receiving points for the rental but I never did. They told me that the charge on my credit card for the excess time I had the car beyond my insurance limit would be pending for about 5 days until I had a chance to resolve insurance matters, but they never did that. The charge still went through the same day they told me this lie. Also, even though my insurance approved my rental for an extended period of time, Enterprise never notified me that they won't be able to charge my insurance for that extra time since my limit was reached. While I felt the staff was kind and easy to speak with, I expected a much better experience there. read more

This company operates with blatant dishonesty and zero integrity. Yesterday, I discovered an unauthorized $63 charge on my card. When I called to ask about it, the first representative falsely claimed it was due to a late return, even though my rental had been properly extended through my insurance. After several minutes of explaining, my call was transferred to another employee who then insisted the $63 was for "taxes," even though taxes were already included in my daily rate. When I challenged this, she abruptly hung up on me. I called back, and she admitted it was a "system glitch" and promised a refund. Today, when I returned the car, I watched an employee cancel that promised refund right in front of me. When I questioned him, he dismissively claimed it was "something else." This level of deception, incompetence, and disrespect for customers is absolutely unacceptable. I will be following up again tomorrow, but I strongly warn others: be extremely cautious before trusting this business with your money. read more

0 star I arrived with a confirmed reservation and it was a complete waste of time. They did not have any car available, not even something similar to what I had reserved. Their excuse was that all cars were already reserved before me, which makes absolutely no sense when you show up with a valid reservation. My reservation was for 5:00 PM, yet they kept me waiting for several hours with no real solution or urgency. In the end, their only "solution" was to wait for another customer to return a car, and on top of that, they allowed that person to take almost an hour to remove all their belongings while I continued waiting. Zero professionalism, zero respect for customers' time, and extremely poor management. A terrible experience and a completely ruined day. Definitely appreciate that they can do pickups as I needed to do a car repair and was able to have insurance arrange for a car rental while the car was in the shop. The wait time for the pickup can be somewhat long and they do try to pickup as many customers at one time as possible which means that you might end up having to wait a bit if there are others still be processed at the same location as you. This is probably most relevant if you are at a car repair shop arranging a rental. The rep at the front desk was professional and efficient. The rep who took me to my car I think was named Jonathan and he was quite slow about taking me to the car but once inside the car he was very pushy about trying to get me to upgrade my insurance coverage for additional costs even going so far as to make it seem like there was no other option but the ones you had to pay for which frankly is very disingenuous and an instant turn off from a business/marketing standpoint. Would highly recommend a more honest and straightforward approach, not cornering customers inside a car making them feel very uncomfortable, and having this conversation outside in the open, especially as a female customer talking to an aggressive male rep. The car return was very straightforward and I was able to get a ride to the car repair center in a relatively timely manner. I would come back here again if I needed to given that it is probably the closest car rental center. read more

They explained everything thoroughly and are very kind and welcoming. The shuttle guy, Dennis I think was his name, was also very kind. The customer service was top notch! When I got there, the Fremont manager, an Indian woman showed us smaller cars despite the fact that we told her we reserved a luxury 7 seat passanger SUV, she looked liked she was clueless. Our vehicle was in an accident, and luckily, the other driver admitted fault, so their insurance took care of everything. Progressive set up the car rental with this Enterprise location. This location is pretty busy, but everyone that we came in contact with was very friendly and apologized for the wait. The Nissan Altima that we received was very clean and had a full tank. We needed to extend the rental for a few more days since our car needed more work at the shop; it was no problem when we requested that extension. This has been the Enterprise assisting me while my car is at the Hyundai dealership getting serviced. It is very convenient that they have a free shuttle service between the dealership and rental center. I came to write this review though, based on my experience last night. Wesley went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I needed to swap out my rental for a new one and he was very accommodating. I don't live in Fremont and it was raining and traffic on 880 so we arrived later than expected. Wesley was quick to swap out the cars and even offered an umbrella for the walk around. Would highly recommend. I've had maybe 5 rentals from this location and I have nothing but positive reviews for the staff and the customer service. read more

Zack (had to ask another staff his name) was helping us, said he couldn't find our reservation then took a PHONE CALL on his cell phone not even the office phone? seemed like a personal call. left to take the call into another office, left us confused. Needed a rental for an auto collision repair. Unfortunately, AAA uses enterprise. Waited over an hour for a car just to arrive to the lot since they ran out of vehicles. The employees working there are extremely kind and patient, which was the only reason I did not completely lose it. I finally get a car after a few from another lot are driven over... the inside is SO dirty. I can promise you, this was not cleaned per their "Complete clean pledge" Stains, crumbs, not vacuumed properly, and still had bird poop on the windshield. read more

Adulting is hard...and things that are included in adulting are having to figure out how to rent a car. Recently, I got into an accident and needed a rental. Through my insurance, they referred me to this Enterprise. Upon picking up the car, Vivian was super helpful and nice. She made me feel very at ease with choosing the car as well as making the process clear. It was my first time having to rent a car on my own so she made everything super easy to understand. Whenever I had to adjust something with my reservation, I would call in to this branch and they would help me out each time. Returning the car was super easy too.
