She managed the whole lobby so professionally and orderly. There were a bunch of us waiting but we all got serviced quickly and efficiently (and with a smile)! I didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes when Henry came over to help me. Incredibly friendly he showed me some options outside and even offered to speed up the clean up of a taller car that I wanted instead of forcing me to stick with a small car. The rental itself was gorgeous, she did what she had to do that weekend with no issues. I even got a text that opened up any communications or questions I had for enterprise while I was gone for the weekend. Upon returning it was even faster if that's possible! The employee there just looked at me when I approached her desk, and they only had 1-2 vehicles, neither of which was fitting. After two failed attempts w. Hertz, I'm so glad I was able to switch to Enterprise. I called beforehand to check availability. That alone was quicker to reach someone. Harry answered and was so friendly and helpful. When I said I needed a mid-sized SUV, he briefly put me on hold to check how many they had. Once everything was processed through my company, he called to remind me what I needed to bring. When I walked in, I was greeted by the most cheerful gal (Alayna?). I told her I loved her energy and she gave me a high five lol. Keanu showed me the cars, and was thorough with inspections, including checking if the car smelled like smoke. I know it's all standard protocol but saving time and frustration is always appreciated. I've rented from Enterprise at their former location, but even then I don't remember being this happy with the staff.

To my surprise, the clerk at Budget added additional taxes and fees that I wasn't aware of. My total bill was $466 (though it did include $63 for prepaid gas). These additional costs were not disclosed to me upfront, otherwise I surely would have gone elsewhere. But, I was on vacation and didn't want to spend half my day trying to secure another vehicle. I also didn't want to haggle with the clerk and spoil my vacation before it started. What a classic case of "bait and switch". Of course Budget will say it is not responsible for fees imposed by their foreign affiliates and may include this verbiage in their contract. But, this is so misleading to the casual consumer searching for deals on the internet only to find that it's not so. I'm so angry and disappointed at this! Please don't make this same mistake. The representative I worked with was very nice and obviously overwhelmed. In the 20 minutes I was there, I saw multiple other customers have the same experience as me. I am writing this review with the hopes that the Budget corporate office changes how they do things. I called customer service and they responded with "if you look at the terms and conditions, a reservation doesn't guarantee a truck." What's the reservation for, then? She said it's to "guarantee the rate." How hard is it to keep track of inventory and not allow folks to reserve a truck that doesn't exist? Maybe it's super difficult? Anyway, hopefully this review prevents other people from having to reschedule their move and all the logistics that involves.
