I was booked to have a mini van rental due to me being under the age of 25 and also only having a debit card to pay with. Starting with the lady at the desk with blondish hair (can't remember her name) she was so sweet and funny really liked her customer service! Then meeting Rey! who was absolutely the sweetest and so helpful & utterly mindful! he asked me what my plans were and I was taking a trip to Yosemite by myself and after telling him that he offered to talk to his manager for me to get me a more fitting sized car cause it was just me! (which I so very much appreciated being I had never driven a mini van and was actually scared to drive one). He was able to get me a Mitsubishi SUV that I was much more comfortable driving! Then when I even came back to drop off the car I accidentally left a AirTag which I was able to quickly get back even though they had just left the parking lot with the car. Rey was also able to discount a little for me which was the cherry on top! Above all the customer service here was so great and for someone renting a car by themselves for the first time ever it was all in all a great smooth experience! read more

I hope this feedback can reach the current branch manager, David De La Rosa. I am writing to share feedback regarding my experience at the Enterprise location on Friday, August 7th at approximately 8:00 PM. I am an Enterprise Plus member, and I had already completed the ID scan and facial recognition process specifically to avoid having to wait at the counter upon arrival. Unfortunately, there appeared to be an issue on the Enterprise side that required me to go to the counter anyway. When I arrived at the counter, there were more than eight people in line with only one employee assisting customers. I initially went outside to see if someone could assist me there, given that I had already completed the required steps. I was told that they could not assist me outside and that I would need to wait in the counter line. I returned to the counter and waited approximately another 15 minutes. During that time, the same employee was still assisting the same customer, while the line remained backed up. At that point, I went back outside and noticed two employees who were not assisting customers. I asked whether one of them could come inside and help with the line, particularly since there were multiple customers waiting and only one employee working inside. One of the employees, Michael, responded that he knew who I was referring to and described the employee as "the male with the slicked-back hair." He then told me that he was taking over for that employee, but not until that employee went on break. What was particularly frustrating was that Michael was outside and not actively assisting customers, while there was a significant line of customers waiting inside. From a customer's perspective, it was extremely difficult to understand why an available employee would not step in to help a teammate when the branch was clearly understaffed at the counter. I understand that employees may have assigned responsibilities or reasons for being outside that I was not aware of. However, the situation as it appeared to a customer was extremely frustrating and gave the impression of a lack of urgency and willingness to assist customers or support a teammate. I hope management will address this situation with the staff involved and look into what happened that evening. I also hope Enterprise can improve the process for Enterprise Plus members who have already completed the ID and facial scans, as the purpose of completing those steps is to make the rental process faster and more convenient. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor impression on me. Based on this interaction, I would not be inclined to rent from this location again and would instead consider using Hertz. I am sharing this feedback because I believe management should be aware of what customers are experiencing at this branch and hopefully take steps to provide a better experience moving forward. read more

I had to rent a car while at the airport, and from start to finish, every member of your team was extremely friendly and professional. From the front desk to the lot where I picked up the vehicle, the service was seamless and welcoming. Later that evening, I realized I needed to change my drop-off location. I called in, and a wonderful woman returned my call and made sure the change was taken care of. She truly went above and beyond with her customer service--her help stood out the most throughout the experience. When returning the car at the new location, the gentleman at the front desk who checked in the car and finalized the rental was also very kind and professional. He even offered to arrange a ride for me, but I let him know I was taking an Uber, as my destination was likely outside the shuttle range. We shared a laugh about it, and it was a great way to wrap up the experience. Horrible experience at Enterprise at Yosemite Airport. My husband and I were driving through Fresno when our rental vehicle gave us an error message stating "Error: Drive system. Please service vehicle." Then a sudden vibration was felt through the car. We called roadside assistance and were instructed to go to the closest Enterprise location at Yosemite Airport. Upon arrival, we were told by their manager that it was just an oil change message and that we were good for another 7,000 miles. We were advised to either keep driving with that error message or downgrade to a compact SUV. We explained that we had already paid and reserved the 7-seat SUV a month in advance and were only exchanging the vehicle due to safety concerns. We saw three other vehicles that matched our needs and were told that they were dirty. I pleaded with them to let us take one of them and explained that we didn't mind if they weren't refueled or dirty; we just wanted to continue our drive. The manager, Teresa, was passive-aggressive, had an attitude, and refused to be helpful. She kept giving us different reasons why they couldn't help, like it's just an oil change, then they didn't have any cars, then the cars they had were dirty. When we were on the way out, we saw at least 15 freshly washed cars that matched our seating needs. The gate attendant told us to talk to the manager about those. When we turned around and spoke to the same manager, she then gave us another excuse about the vehicle being oversold. Yet again, Teresa told us that she was not going to give us the readily available vehicles since people already had reservations until closing. At this point, we were about 20 minutes from closing, so we pleaded with them to let us wait until closing to see if someone did not pick up their reservation so we could exchange our car and continue on our way. She again said that they were reserved, and I pointed to the "dirty" cars that would be available tomorrow at opening for those who had reservations for the morning. I really didn't understand the problem with letting us wait since we still had a 45-minute drive to the place we were going to have to shelter from the road since we did not feel comfortable driving the vehicle at freeway speeds with an issue. We came back the next morning at 6:50 am since they told us they opened at 7 am. When we got there, a woman smiled and asked us if we were returning the car, and we said no, we were planning on exchanging the car since it gave us a service error message. Her demeanor completely changed, and she took the keys from us and said to wait here. We were already outside the car, and it was a cold morning since it was 7 am. She went inside, and we were left out in the cold to wait. She came back and only offered us a 2 wheel drive minivan. We explained that last night they told us they would have more cars available since they would be clean, and she said no, only the minivan. We explained we didn't want a minivan since we were going to take a road trip and drive up mountains and through San Francisco and specifically reserved a 7-seater car that had all-wheel drive instead of only two-wheel drive. The minivan was only 2-wheel drive. At this point, we asked if we could talk to the manager (Nicholas). He was very stoic, and we felt like an inconvenience, almost like since we had already paid for the reservation and we weren't going to make them any more money, they weren't going to bother with giving us good customer service. She went back in, and we were waiting outside. Nicholas finally came out and asked us what was wrong; he seemed annoyed too. We explained everything to him, and he said he could only give us a minivan and asked why we didn't want a minivan. We explained the all-wheel-drive situation AGAIN and finally said he has a Dodge Durango that he can give us. I was kinda disappointed that he made us go through all of that explaining and still asked us why we don't want a minivan when he already had a car available in our SAME vehicle class that we paid and reserved for. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. We finally got the keys to the car around 7:25 am, given we were outside in the cold the entire time while other customers were allowed to come inside; they always told us to wait out here. We have been loyal Enterprise customers for years due to their customer service, but Fresno's Yosemite airport was horrible. read more

The airport in fresno has a different policy for using debit card then the rest of the company apparently. we even called ahead to check that we could use that card and they said yes then when we got there the counter monkeys said no. And their manager said no exceptions even though the rest of the company said yes. I said we might be stranded here with out a car cause its the holidays and not many cars left and the counter monkey said he was glad we were stranded. Needless to say we were frustrated af and will def never rent from them again and also will leave a bad review on every site for a month thats how badley we were treated. A few days before my trip, I called Enterprise asking about their hours during Christmas. The lady told me that they would close at 8PM, but would stay until 10PM for people who had reservations. We landed shortly around 9:15PM-ish. I went straight to the rental after landing, and learned that so called "waiting" period turned out to be a lie. Nobody at Alamo or Enterprise was at the desk. The only people who were at their desks were probably National and Budget or Avis (can't remember exactly) and they couldn't help us. We called and got someone on the phone but ultimately, nothing could be done. We had to call a family member in town to pick us up and come back the next morning. There were OTHER families that were stuck without a rental for the same reason at night!! We came back the next morning and were ultimately told to EFF off (in a nice way). The manager did take the previous day off of the payment, but I felt like that was not enough for the inconvenience we had to deal with... An absolute waste of time. The lady who was in charge of helping us to get to our car was friendly and helpful. The choices of the type of car (van) we chose were just different year versions of the Chrysler Pacifica. The van was a smooth ride, but driving at night felt like a disaster. The display panel was not bright enough and locked at a setting of 3. Navigating that was a nightmare. read more

Rented a Renault Austral for 3 days in Switzerland. On the 2nd day we had a dead battery. We could not open the car with the fob. With a very long walk in a very steep hill one of us went to buy one of those flat 2032 batteries which turned out was not the problem. After a few phone calls to Enterprise, they sent a mechanic who jumped the car. We lost half a day from our vacation plans. Made a report to Enterprise hoping for some compensation for all the trouble we went through. A few days later an email arrived basically telling us that we must have forgotten to turn a light off inside the car or left one of the doors ajar and that there would not be any adjustment in our fee. Upon receiving this very annoying response from Enterprise I did some research on the internet about the Renault Austral and the internet was full of battery and electrical problems of that car including dead batteries overnight. Having been a loyal customer of Enterprise I could not believe the treatment we got. Shame on you Enterprise for such poor customer relations. read more

Theresa at enterprise was amazing and so incredibly helpful! I can't even explain how much I appreciated her help. My car broke down the day before my birthday and we had planned an out of town trip. Needless to say, she helped me figure out the perfect rental to help me get to my destination safely and in style. I rented a Toyota Camry and it drove so nicely, didn't smell of smoke or other renters and was clean. The return was quick as well. Just know that you will need a 400$ deposit to rent, that was one thing I didn't know but Theresa made everything as smooth as she possibly could. Let me start by saying I use rental cars once a month and usually for a week at a time. Traditionally I use Enterprise because their customer service is very good. I rented my mid-size SUV on line 3-months before my trip to Fresno. When I arrived at the rental counter, 9a on a Thursday (regular working people hours) there where 6 people ahead of me and only one person working the rental counter. When I arrived they only had one "SUV" that was a JEEP, which is not what I originally request, so I had to "upgrade" and pay for the privilege. I was NOT their typical free upgrade because they did not have what I requested. When I asked about this policy I was told "we don't do that". I walked out to my Nissan Rogue and drove to the mandatory exit "interview". While waiting I found this car had not been cleaned very well; gum pack in the glove box, airport cookie in the armrest and a baby bottle under the passenger's seat. I gave the items to the service person at the exit and went about my travels. When I returned the vehicle I mentioned the dirty vehicle to the check in person. Her comment was, "I will let the service area know." At my Enterprise in IL, they traditional give a courtesy discount for my "inconvenience". When I asked about a courtesy discount again I received, "We don't do that." This Enterprise would do well to take few lessens in client services because I was NOT impressed. read more

b careful with this company. they r shady. i got a rental from the fresno blackstone place and wen i drive it home it was shaking really bad. i returned it for something else. everyone was rude there. i got an altima. drive to vagas. there was a slight clicking in that car from the start but we had already lost a day because of the first rental.... got to vagas, no problem. parked it for 4 days @ our hotel, on the way back, drive for about an hour and the temperature started rising. i pulled over right away. saw that the fan belt had come off. called enterprise and let them know. they sent a rude tow truck guy with a truck and trailer. drove us back to vagas. got another rental. 3 weeks later we get a $3700 bill. saying we broke and damaged their cheap car.... b careful with these companies..... read more

I use enterprise for work and have never had an issue locally. I called and made a reservation by phone from my delayed plane in Denver. When I arrived at the Fresno airport they told me they couldn't find my reservation. Not by name, phone, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't have a confirmation number. It was late and my family and I had been delayed about 4 hours that day. They managed to get me compact car rental for the night through Alamo. I came back the next day and returned their compact car and got an SUV through another agency. Fast forward 4 days later and I got an email thanking me for using enterprise. They had given my reserved car to someone else. I didn't pay for it, but it was obviously tied to my account to get the auto email that reported the pick up, drop off times and mileage. I love Enterprise, they always hook my family and I up if we opt to take rental cars than our own personal cars. Anywho I came in on April 6th to pick up my car Rental around 1:30pm. My lovely sister and niece dropped me off. I entered the place and was instantly greeted. All I had to show was my ID and my card. The staff member informed me that they will be pulling up my car. Less than 30 seconds my car was ready and they informed me to pull to the front and speak with Ashley about the logistics and pull inspection. The process was so swift! It took under 10 minutes to get my car and go. It was a 7 seater decked out car. As I was driving off I was wondering if that is normal?? But I was too excited to go to Vegas with my girls than to worry about that now. The car had 8k miles and was very comfortable for our trip. I have car fever now :/ and want a new car lols The price of course varies I ended up paying an extra $100 for something? Maybe because I brought it back two hours late with a full tank? I don't know. But I do know they charge a $500 deposit but will be refunded back after the trip. I will definitely be getting my cars from Enterprise. So, my flight had to go around a storm which put us in the air for another half hour, which as you might guess caused me to miss my connecting flight. I say this so I can give you a little background for the 1 Star. I hustle off my final destination flight Fresno/Yosemite AP and 10 minutes before 12 midnight there's 3 of us that head straight for the Enterprise counter. No one there but a sign that tells us to walk outside to the booth. We all walk out and there's no one there either. 2 of us call and we get the same spiel. Your basic "SORRY". So we all three line up at a neighboring competitor (which THEY are required to stay at the desk until their last customer comes through if there are flight delays) go figure. So needless to say but here goes, Enterprise lost 3 loyal customers that night as we discussed our frustration and yes we did drive off but not in Enterprise cars. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. This location has very shady policies that they don't disclose until last minute. They told us we needed to have an entire round trip booked and provide them with our itinerary. This is strange considering some people who rent cars are not flying at all. And people book and cancel flights all of the time so it doesn't make a lot of sense as to why they're even doing this. We wanted to use debit but because we fly standby they refused to give us our car. This is an awful way to treat airline crew members.They also sent us outside to speak to a manager so we promptly walked to the location they told us he would be - and he wasn't even there. He took an hour lunch after they told us he was expecting us. The entire staff was whispering, smirking and giggling amongst themselves. The staff here is not only unhelpful and unprofessional, but they are just mean and nasty. They had terrible attitudes and were argumentative. Do not give this place your business. They will withhold your rental and last minute force you to use credit. read more

My reservation was made incorrectly even though my flight date was included and should've been through that date. I spent hours on the phone with customer service who would just repeat "the reservation can't be cancelled or updated" I asked why and the same words were repeated. I had to drive 40 minutes to the airport for the rude front desk to tell me "I could've called" and hr updated in 3 seconds. A waste of time. Enterprise can be a hit or miss, depending on location, staff, rates, and/or vehicle selections. In this case, it's the staff. Now the associate that helped me was rather pushy. He's talking to me like I hadn't done this before. Here are 3 examples: INSURANCE: dude asked if I wanted "the basic coverage or extended coverage with that?" How about neither, boy.... I mean right off the bat comes an insult to one's intelligence. GAS REFUELING: dude just jumps right into explaining the refueling options. I waited patiently for him to finish talking to explain to him twice that I'll fill it myself, even after he tells me common gas prices nearby. UPGRADES: without me even inquiring, he points to high end / luxury vehicles for $##/day upgrade. No thanks. Where's my car? So I'm not gonna name names because I like doing business with Enterprise. But when I went over to ask another gentleman starting his rental, I asked if the associate helping him kind'a did the same lame tactics. He confirmed it. Yikes. Sounds like their manager has them on a program. Time to reconsider and lay off the pushy salesman car dealer crap. Back off, stick to the basics, and understand you have members who have done this more than enough times, probably longer than you've been alive, that find these amateur hour tricks inappropriate. read more

I don't normally leave reviews about this kind of company unless I am mad about something, but I have to say, these folks really went above and beyond for me. I had forgotten some kids' toys with sentimental value to me in my rental car when I turned it in. These were a little plastic slide and some plastic chairs that I and my siblings all used as kids, and that I wanted to use with my daughter. I submitted a claim online via the lost and found page, but it didn't seem to work as far as matching up my description of the items with what they had in their storage. So I decided to drive down to the location at the airport and ask them in person. Not only did they still have the items about 15 days later, but they had a guy drive down from the storage warehouse (an offsite location) and bring them to me at that moment, LITERALLY WHILE I WAITED FOR HIM. In my experience, it's unusual for a big company to offer this level of personal service and concern over something with really no monetary value, such as some old toy plastic chairs, but these guys did. Truthfully, the web interface to search for lost and found items could have been better, but they more than made up with it by providing that level of service. I hope not to need a rental car again anytime soon, but if I do I know where I will go. read more

Ryan at the front desk was so very calm and collected, all while I was having a panic attack. If it had not been for him I would have left that place upset. It's right what they say about booking thru a 3rd party company, just go directly thru the company... it's not worth the surprises or hassle. I came with a debit card only, driving 30 mins away just to drive back home and pick up a credit card (which is all they take as a payment). I was not very happy about it because it was almost 10pm & my trip was starting at 5am the next morning. The 3rd party company did not explain any of the specific details such as an extra $300 hold. Had I known I would have definitely been more prepared. Basically, Ryan's customer service skills and willingness to help out an upset customer, including on staying late for me was impeccable. He even offered to walk me to the car because he didn't want me to run into any other issues as they were closing down for the night. Give the man a promotion he deserves it! Thank you Ryan you started my bday trip with a great start! (Also, he was saying sorry to other renting companies, who's employees left early. Shame.) Appreciate you for being so helpful! I rented a car on 1-8-21 at the Enterprise center on Milbrun in Fresno. Their customer service was good in person but they NEVER answer the phones!!! The car i rented was dirty inside. The steering wheel had drink goop and the windows were badly cleaned. strikes everywhere making it hard to see at night. Also found snacks under the passengers seat and dog hair. unfortunately i left my phone behind in the car and it was very hard to get a hold of the staff there. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, their staff was completely insensitive with no understanding. I've been in town for two weeks plus trying to get flights out to Seattle and after finally giving up on a flight I resorted to a rental car -- only to be left without the opportunity since I don't have a physical copy of my credit card. Their company policy clearly states that they can rent with debit cards at airports, but since I don't have a "legit flight" since mine has been cancelled numerous time and it was intended to be a departing flight, they cannot execute my request. You would think with a pandemic going on leaving Americans vulnerable, not only would they be empathetic towards unique circumstances, but customer service to let me speak with a manager. read more
