Had a truck reserved for over a week. When I got there the truck was nowhere to be found. About 10-15 minutes later it shows up. There was a guy blowing dirt all over the place outside and I mentioned that to one of the associates inside. When we finally went outside to look the truck over it appeared that they just ran a hose over it. It had water spots all over and with the guy blowing dirt everywhere you can guess the rest. The door jambs were real dirty. The truck was black by the way. When he talked about bringing the truck back clean I said I'll bring it back the way it looks now. All of a sudden he needed to take it to the garage for something and said it would only take a minute. 15-20 minutes later I got the picture and realized he didn't want to rent me the truck after that. I just walked away. That truck should have been there when I showed up and spotless and the guy blowing dirt everywhere should have been told to stop. It shouldn't have had to go to the garage for anything. I didn't get a phone call asking why I walked away or if there was something they could do to rectify the situation because they already knew why. read more

Perfect experience, no complaints

I spoke to the manager Matt on the way to drop off my car at their Mac Haik satellite office. He said he'd reach out to the employee there and they would call me back with the information about the rental. I don't get a call back. I show up and Mac Haik has no idea what I'm talking about. I rushed my entire day to make it to the dealer before close for no reason. I call the next day to the satellite office. They tell me they have no cars. I call Matt back, he tells me he did everything right and it was on his employee. Zero ownership of his business. He tells me to go to his employee Jordan and I do, they have a car magically after she told me they didn't and she doesn't mention a thing to me. I drive the car for two days. It has a terribly slipping transmission and I am positive of it, because I rent cars a lot on business travel and I've driven a lot of the model I had. I tell her about it and she says, that's normal that's just how they are. As we close out the transaction, she asks if I was satisfied. I tell her no that I wasn't. She offers an upgrade but I told her I've seen Enterprise not honor those in the past. She tells me she'll contact her manager. I doubt that'll go anywhere. read more

The worse experience I have ever had! I had an accident and the person at fault's insurance company was going to cover the rental car. When I arrived at the office, the sales person made a phone call to that insurance company and said that I needed a car. The sales person provided me with the car that was covered by the insurance. When I returned the car, I returned it to the shop, who turned in the car for me. A few days later I get charged 639$ on the card that I authorized only a 50$ deposit for possible damages. When I called the office I spoke to the manager who was extremely rude and sarcastic telling me that i have to speak with the insurance company because the reservation was not made through the insurance and so I was responsible to pay the rental. I told him that the sales person made a phone call in front of me and spoke with the insurance company. The charge was fraudulent because I never authorized it but in order for me to get my money back I spoke with insurance and I am still waiting for my reimbursement to arrive. Meanwhile I am paying interest on the 639$ on my credit card. Today I logged into my account and found out I have another 72 charge pending on my account. Oh and to top it off, I noticed the car that I was driving had an expired registration since 10/2017. I would never recommend this place and never will I ever use it again. Don't ever trust them. I really like the enterprise Rent-A-Car in Georgetown. I rent at least twice a year to go on vacation and here in there when one of my kids wrecks a car... It's pretty much no hassle in and out, although parking at the facility a little tight. Also if you don't like the car you have, you can just bring it in and swap it out for another one. I travel for work often, and I always use Enterprise due to their great customer service and the fact that they always go above and beyond for their Plus members. However, this specific location offered me the lowest level of support I've ever received from Enterprise or any customer facing organization of any kind. My car was damaged by hail while I was away on a work trip and my wife set up the repairs through our insurance company who coordinated with this location to have a rental ready for me when I returned. My wife called ahead of time to ensure that she could pick up a car with a temporary license as she has recently lost hers. She was assured by a representative (Brooks) that she would be perfectly fine. Yet, when she arrived, she was told she could not pick up the car and was throughly degraded by the Enterprise staff. So much so that she called me in tears, as I was on my way home from Germany...to let me know she was treated awfully and due to the Memorial Day holiday, we wouldn't be able to set a car until the following Tuesday. When I called, from Germany, I was treated with absolute disrespect from the same agent. Who proceeded to hang up on me...during an extensive international call. When I called back to speak to a manger, I encountered another rude individual who 'put me on hold to help other customers' and after 10 minutes had not returned. The entire experience was degrading, disappointing, and most frustrating. It is categorically a shame that such a great company can be represented by such abhorrent reps on a local level. I'm ashamed to have given you my business for as long as I have. If you're in the Georgetown area, avoid this place at all costs. read more

I love this place. I use Enterprise a lot, their membership is free, and when you go online to their site it is cheaper and a better deal than any other bulk places. I love it. This place is really nice. I had an out of town trip planned with my kids and the night before on the way home after buying some items I hit a deer. It totaled my car at 10pm. We did not want to cancel, called early the next AM, and were able to get a vehicle large enough for me and my 6 kids. And they were super nice. read more

So I'm unsure how to rate this facility as there were definite Pros and Cons. On a totally random note, what's with this place and their "really really ridiculously good looking - insert Zoolander-face" staff? I felt so dumpy each time I was there compared to them. Pros: Customer service was excellent. I would give them 5 stars for customer service. I had a car accident with my personal vehicle, but thankfully I had car rental coverage in my insurance. As promised by my insurance company, Enterprise called me at 8AM on the dot the next morning to alert me that they were aware of my upcoming need for a vehicle. They were more than happy to have someone pick me up from my residence, but I didn't have need of the service since I hitched a ride. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Kristin. Kristin was my point of contact for the entire two week timeframe as I awaited news from my insurance company. Each time I got off the phone with my insurance company, Kristin would call me to coordinate the next step once she got the alert in the system from my insurance company. I was very impressed with Kristin's promptness. Seriously, as soon as I would hang up from my conversation with insurance, within a minute Kristin was calling me. That girl is on it! Cons: This place doesn't have a large fleet of vehicles, so it didn't help with the recent bad weather that everyone needed a rental since their cars were in the repair shops. When I arrived, there were no small vehicles ready for me to drive off the lot. I ended up paying an extra $5 out of pocket per day for a mid-size while my insurance company paid up to the max amount allowed. So it sucked that I had to pay for a larger car since they didn't have available cars at the moment and I didn't want to wait all day until a car was returned. Because there was only one car available at the moment, it was apparent that it wasn't cleaned between clients. There were drink stains in the cup holder as well as the previous driver's chapstick and candy. The front passenger seat had a large dark stain right on the butt area. When I notified Kristin, she surmised it was likely water, but lo and behold, that stain never disappeared after two weeks and I was never willing to sniff it anyways to figure out what it was. The vehicle also had a hint of cigarette smoke when I got in it, but the smell dissipated after a day or so. The tank was also half full when I received it, but thankfully they allowed me to return it at half-tank as a result. Week 2, I called them to coordinate a downgrade to a smaller vehicle so I wouldn't be paying an extra $5/day. They added a note to expect my call the next day to coordinate a time to do the auto-switcheroo. When I did call the next day, I was regretfully informed that all the small cars were still checked off the lot, and they didn't know what time they'd be coming in. Sensing that I was being done a big disservice, the young man on the phone said, "I'll tell you what. Do you like your current rental? If so, go ahead and keep your current mid-size vehicle and I'll just discount the rate so you're no longer paying out of pocket for the rest of this timeframe." Sounded fine with me. When I finally returned the car, the young man who helped me was polite and friendly. So besides the lack of car selection on the lot and dirty car, the customer service was great. I'm still perplexed though, is it a requirement that you have to be good looking in order to work at this place? Apparently so... read more

You don't do the walk around for the customer and then say no damage. You silly rabbit the customer completes the walk around. John explained all the insurance options (without being pushy) and made sure I understood what I way buying and/or declining to buy. He then went outside went over the vehicle inside and out. I use rental car agencies quite often. On October 9, I needed a car at the Mac Haik location, as my truck was being worked on. The folks there are usually pretty good, especially as compared with my main experience, agencies located in airports. On this occasion, one employee, Shelby Melendez, stood out as an excellent example of customer service. Despite it being a very busy Monday, Shelby always had a smile on her face, and made all of the customers feel that she was in tune with their needs. I've had the dubious privilege of renting from this location weekly for the past year. The agents are nice and courteous, I don't have anything negative to say about my interactions with them. My complaints lie in the condition of the vehicles and their rampant overbooking. I can't tell you how many times I've arrived at this location only to find that my reserved vehicle isn't there, and that they have no cars for me at all. Maybe this is staff incompetence, I don't know, but it is a huge inconvenience. My second issue is with the make ready crew, they suck and always have. The cars are very rarely clean. Bad smells, fresh uncleaned stains, windshields that have never seen a rag, food crumbs. It's disgusting and I make sure to wipe the touch surfaces down because I know they haven't. If my company would let me rent somewhere else, I would. read more

Wow! Horrible. From the get go my husband tried to rent a car so we can have ours repaired. He had a meeting in Dallas scheduled after he picked it up so he wanted to make sure the car was there, so he called the day before and they re-assured him he would have it. He got there and they had nothing, he had to wait missed his meeting and had to re-schedule it. A care came in and there was so much smoke in it that we could not drive it with out driving with the windows down. Needless to say that the seats were also sticky and the passenger seat was recently burned (it looks like with a cigarette). My husband had to get to his meeting and they had not other vehicles so whatever. After airing it out and multiple sprays with cleaner it was kind of bearable. We did not dare try to get another car due to our schedule, there lack of cars, and the fact we both work. He then returns it today and they will not give us our deductible because it is not full of gas. My husband clearly was aware it only had half a tank when he got it (he is very aware of all that along with mileage). They argued and took half of our deductible. This place is no professional and they are not concerned about the customer. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! read more

Overall, the crew were friendly and quick to ensure that between the two employees the customers waiting were taken care of. Vehicle I received was new and clean. Return process took a few minutes and I was on my way. One recommendation would be to set aside about 30 minutes if you want to use the "pick-you-up" option. read more

If I could give this place zero rating I would. Made a reservation online 4 days in advance went to pick the car up and there was no car available. We were told it would be about 10-15 minute wait and it ended up being 44 minute wait. The first time they presented an available car was at 34 minutes but it was dirty and they had to clean it over. I presented the disappointment with the manager and let him know I would be reviewing this location. He stated that's just the situation when you come at this time of the day during the week. Also said that they can only wash so many cars at once. Asked if there was anything he could do and we said just give us a car any car. He said he didn't have any other cars. Really!!! I would not rent from this location again. They seriously need to re-evaluate their business processes if this is a normal situation at this time of day. Nobody should have to wait this long for a rental that was made several days in advance. read more

You'll meet a different clerk each time you visit them. The first one will make your reservation and "hook" you with a "special rate". This rate will be for a short period of time from two to four days. You come away thinking that it will be the rate for the whole time. When you go to pick up your car, they won't have the class of car you want, so they will "upgrade" you. You will ask if the same rate applies and they will say yes, but not add "for only the special time period". Again, you think you are getting a deal. Upon return, and it was two days early for me, you will end up paying more than you thought. I ended up paying a higher per day rate, the same rate had I kept the car an additional two days. Weird. They are in the business of maximizing revenue based on scarcity and demand. You will not deal with the same person twice. They will always say "I'm trying to help you as much as I can". They train their clerks to always go for higher rates based on initial promises of lower rates upon the initial reservation. They move their personnel around so that what one person tells you cannot be established with consistency since they may be at another Enterprise location the next time. This is the way they operate. They will have a limited amount of cars, but with always an eye on maximizing the revenue per vehicle per rental time. I picked up the car. It was dirty and the gas tank was only 1/4 full. I returned it washed with 1/2 tank of gas. Well, I tried Enterprise in Georgetown but will definitely use Hertz in Round Rock as I had previously been using. Sorry guys, you all know what you are doing to the customer who rents from you. I guess moral relativism exists in many capital enterprises such as yours. read more

Horrible experience. They said they had Sedans at $30/day, then when I drove down there, all I got was a minivan at $64/day. Then 4 days later they let me trade it in for a smaller vehicle, which became a Nissan. On day 2, this Nissan's check engine light went on and the tire was getting flat. When we brought it back in, he explained that the oil had been changed recently and the light must have just never been turned off. But the light was not on on day 1. And he said that we must have ran over a nail, but why would it be going flat slowly on day 2 already, starting on day 1. Then the manager said that we must be wrong, but he'll give us a different vehicle anyway. Truth be told, he just didn't want to own it, and he decided to accuse us of being stupid or a liar. Came in today to pick up rental through insurance company. Doug the assistant manager stated they could not rent to me unless I had credit card because my home address is in Austin. Credit card at home in Austin.Sarah called an Austin location to see about having my reservation changed to an Austin location. Bryan the "new branch manager" stated they would not be able to give me a ride to the Austin location and the only place they could take me would be back to where my car is getting repaired which is further into Georgetown. Branch manager would not even come out of office while I waited for my uber. Do not use this location unless you want to be stuck having to find a ride. The organization I work for uses Enterprise (which I arrange and make payment to), but I have to say after this we will be using Avis only. Absolutely dont give a shit about me as a customer. Do not ever go to this location, or use this rental company. I was rear ended and the insurance company gave me a rental from this location. The Lincoln SUV had over 27k miles and no where close to being in top condition. It had a dent on the driver door, a cracked windshield and the scratched up rear bumper. Sadly this was the only acceptable car that did not have a terrible smell to it. I was told anything less than a golfball size dent will not be an issue. I should have pay more attention to the walk through before taking the keys but after rejecting the first two cars they offered due to interior smell and stains on the seat I just wanted to get out of there. A month later my car is repaired and it was time to return the rental car. At the return they found a scratch on the passenger fender that can be easily buffed out with wax, which I didn't even notice during rental and offered return the car later in the day after the scratch is removed. The manger at the location flatly refused and went ahead to charge me a $1000 for damage deductible for a scratch that did not hit bare metal. Even the most expensive dealership would not charge more than a few hundred dollars to remove this scratch. I will never rent a car from Enterprise, and I will be filing a complaint with Texas Department of Insurance and BBB. read more

If they had negative stars, it would make me happy. Last week my insurance company sent this company all the information they needed and made a reservation for me. When I did not hear from them, I called them to confirm and was assured that my reservation was confirmed that a car would pick me up from the repair shop and take me to the Enterprise lot. I called them again this morning to make sure everything was in place. I was again, assured it was. So they sent a car to pick me up at the repair shop and took me to their lot to get my rental car. They took my information, cleared it with my insurance and then simply pointed at the board where they keep all the car keys and told me they did not have a car. I was stranded and it was pouring outside. He never offered to take me home or even apologize. I had no choice but to call my 81 year old mother and ask her to come and get me. Now, on a clear day, my mom has no business driving, but now it's a full on thunder storm. After 45 minutes my mom called me very upset, unable to find my location. She had pulled off the road. When I realized she was within a half mile of me, I just walked to her. NO ONE at Enterprise offered to take me anywhere. They completely ignored me! DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS LOCATION! THEY ARE HANDS DOWN THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. read more

Well after reading the last review, they must have changed management because I didn't even want to give one star on this location. I have always used Enterprise and have always had a great experience. But this place, forget customer service!!!! They don't know what it means and it looks like all the employees are scared of the boss! The wait was ridiculous, the sales person was arrogant and condescending. The car was disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. When I pointed it out to the rep, he just said really? Okay, but I'll give you half a tank of gas free - the car was not even full! Needless to say I took it because I was late for work. On the way to work I called and asked to speak to the manager and after asking three to times to speak to him, I finally got him. I told him I was returning the vehicle, he asked me to give them another chance and if I could stop by after work to get it. I told him I would be there first thing in the morning (7:30). I'm there at 7:40 and no car ready for me, the manager did not even try to make eye contact with me, the sales rep was trying to get another vehicle "detailed" while I am there waiting. What do I get? A car that someone ran the water hose over it to hide the dirt and it was dripping wet. The inside cleaner that the other but looked like it had been cleaned with a dirty rag. The outside well I'm sure you can imagine after the water dried. I have notified the insurance company to put them on their "do not call" list. I really don't like writing bad reviews but I don't want anyone else to experience what I did especially since Enterprise has such a good reputation. I'm sure it was just this location and its, sad to say, bad management. Someone definitely need a course in Customer Service. read more

You know, I used to rent from Enterprise here ALL the time when I worked for the state and traveled all the time in rental cars. Yet this time, when my wife called the 800 number and tried to rent, we were given the run around. They would not give her a quote for AARP or military rates. Unfortunately they are the only rental car place near us so we ended up going with them. We showed up at the office and wanted to see if they could get us a mini van instead of a full size. They had one available we were told but then the other guy told our guy that the van they had was already reserved so we ended up going to another rental place at a car dealership for a van but that is a different review. Like I said, I used to rent from Enterprise all the time and never had an issue, and in fact I rented so much that they new me by name and would give me free upgrades, but now I don't know if I'd rent from them again. read more

I have rented from Enterprise at this location a number of time over the years, and I have always been satisfied. True, they have a quite a bit of employee turnover there and they aren't perfect (what human is?). However, they do their best to make me, the customer, satisfied. The last time I rented, the agent was fairly new and did not know how the rear seats worked and told me they did not fold flat. I later questioned that with another employee and they showed me how they really worked. I would much prefer that the agent simply say "I don't know, but I will ask". That is my only complaint. THey apologized, of course. I also want to let everyone know that they price-match the competition. I found a much lower price at Avis and they lowered their price to slightly beat it on the minivan that I rented (one day before I needed it, too). That is customer service! The cars have always been trouble-free, too. No owner manual sometimes though. read more
