Erick went above and beyond and turned my bad day around. My cars ac went out for the second time after a shop repaired it. It's 94* and I have a child. We were picked up by their shuttle service and given a car comparable to ours, WITH AC lol. He stayed and made sure I found a vehicle compatible with our car seat and was kind and positive the entire time. Thanks Erick! read more

Sadly we cannot recommend this Enterprise. Pick another location if you want fast, courteous custom service. We walked in with only two other customers in the lobby. Over an hour and a half later we got our car. I can understand if the lobby was packed but this location runs in slow motion and their attitude toward customers need to improve drastically. Other locations we have went to are very helpful and efficient. Sadly this is not one of them. We rented from here one other time and three customers had to leave because they couldn't accommodate due to poor management, not having inventory because of "overbooked car (whatever that means), and lack of staff to speed thing up. Sorry Enterprise but we will not use this location again. I strongly suggest you use a different location as well. read more

I have had a reservation for enterprise for weeks as my car needed repairs from a fencer bender. Everything was supposedly in place and ready to rent my vehicle once I dropped my car off at a nearby auto shop on July 14. When I got to enterprise, they had a look at my out of state (Oregon) license and deemed it invalid for renting. I am 21 years old, expiration on my license is 2025, it is a state issued valid driver's license and it has been since it was issued in 2017. The assistant manager Brianna claims I am unable to rent because my id was issued to me when I was 17 and says "Under 21 until xx/xx/2022" and "Under 18 until xx/xx/2019" along with "Class C Provisional License". With that, Brianna claimed my ID was invalid since I turned 18 and I pose a risk to the company if I rented a vehicle because in Arizona, when you turn 21, you need a new ID, no matter what the expiration date is. Upon research, for the state of Oregon, my ID is still valid in all states for driving. I am now 21 years old, out of a vehicle to get home, stuck in the 115° summer weather. Many calls later with insurance and other rental agencies, Hertz was able to get me in (3 days later) for a vehicle. One look at my ID and the Hertz general and district managers had no issue eith my ID. The general manager at the Hertz location I visited were not shocked by my experience at Enterprise and claimed they "overbook and have to have an excuse on why they didn't rent to you for records". Brianna took a look at my age and inexperience renting a vehicle and used it against me. Do not rent with Enterprise and do not rent with Brianna. She is an awful lady and put a 21 year old girl on the street with no transportation. read more

Great interpersonal communication from Tony! And Tamaya (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Had to grab a rental while my truck was being worked on at Toyota. My rental was clean, did NOT spell like smoke, and very easy to pick up/drop off. Tony and Tamaya made renting a car easy; enjoyed them both for being happy and showing a great positive outlook! This location has their act together! Oh, Enterprise Corp, stop having your employees cover their tattoos. It's 2018...I don't have any tattoos..and believe it's more common to have them have not....I would imagine Baby Boomers and possibly 60's children may have opinions on them; but take a demographic pole of your customers...if the policy is in place to ensure 20%-30% of customers are not offended...consider focusing on your greatest asset, the employees. This place cancelled my reservation without me knowing when I had told them that my flight got cancelled the previous day due to high winds. My booking was for the day I flew in at noon, but my new flight time was 11:30 so I called to inform them that I would not be able to pick up the vehicle at that specified time and would get there as fast as I could when I landed.. When I landed in Mesa I tried to look up my reservation and to my surprise they left me high and dry without vehicle... Totally erased my reservation! Josh said as long as I got there before 3 I was fine, because of course it's Christmas Eve and they're closing early.. I called as soon as I landed to let them know I was on my way buy no one would pick up the phone. Merry Christmas!! One of the worst experiences with Enterprise ever.. Was very informal of notifying me of not having a vehicle but When told to call around and all I found another location with a vehicle that I was looking for. I ask Whitney for a ride to another location she told me I don't think so since it's out of our boundaries but I'll ask. She didn't ask she was upset or something and she called over they guy to talk about me because she made it very obvious but didnt have the guts to say it or something so she pull out her phone to type it as a message but looked at me put it down and proceeded to do it on the computer. I made a reservation on our cooperate number for Enterprise. Apparently in the middle of summer in Phoenix AZ we have a car shortage! Going on 1hr waiting along with the other 20 people in here. This is by far the WORST location to do business with!! I've been renting cars from enterprise for years at locations all over the nation. However, the Gilbert location is downright AWFUL! Their costumer service is horrific!! They charge me for things they weren't suppose to and ended up double paying for one car. When I called to sort the matter out, I spoke with Maggie. She said she was going to look into the situation and place me on a brief hold... Nearly 20 minutes later someone finally picks up, and had no idea why I was on hold! I explained I had been working with Maggie, and they said "oh, I'm sorry Maggie left." So she placed me on hold and walked out of the office?!? Great costumer care! I will NEVER use this location again! They don't care about their costumers! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I would have driven to their Mesa location if I could have avoided this. read more

BEWARE !!! The location at 1312 E Motorloop, Gilbert Az has in my opinion the worst customer service I've experienced. I had to rent a vehicle because we were rear ended. The return date was on a day the my wife and worked so we could not, the next day was Thanksgiving and Enterprise was closed. I asked if they had a night drop off and they did not and I was told I could take it to the airport and drop it off there for a $75.00 drop off fee.. well that did not make sense... When I returned the vehicle they charged me for 4 days. I picked it up on Tuesday at 4pm, and returned it Friday morning at 8am. I asked for a manager and "Parker" said he was, I told him my concerns for being charged a day I could not return the vehicle because THEY were closed. His reply was "don't worry about it, the insurance is paying for it", that jus got me going.. naïve Parker thinks it FREE? Someone will pay, maybe not me directly but indirectly with higher insurance premiums... yea it just one rental day but if Enterprise practices in this fashion that's a LOT of day.. after I left the building I checked my email and the invoice stated 4 day rental. I was confused so I went back in I heard someone behind the partition say "there he is".. I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager. I was confused because Parker said he was the manager, come to find out Parker is the assistant manager and Eric is the manager??? Now is he the rear manager or another assistant???? and asked why 4 day and not 3 days. Tuesday - Friday is a 3 day rental.. Eric told me that Bodyshops and Insurance companies have an agreement to charge calendar days. So I called corporate and spoke to customer care agent and she took my concerns down and sent an email to corporate, she said they will answer my email in order of what they receive.. I will update this page when I get my reply.. I work in retail and I know customer service is your highest priority.. especially when your closed and the customer has only one option and get charged $75.00 to perform a task that there would be no charges for IF THEY WERE OPEN!!!!! This has been one of the worst experiences with multiple locations of enterprise I have ever had and they have lost my confidence and business. I arrive at this location after bringing my vehicle into the local dealer for mandatory warranty work for a preset appointment. Three people working at this location that I can see, four people in line, and almost a dozen waiting for vehicles. I finally get to front of the line when a condescending man, I wish I had gotten his name, seems bothered and in a hurry. When I attempt to get my vehicle he tells me he sees a rental out in my name. Yes, for my other vehicle that's engine siezed due to a manufacturing defect. This happened two days ago and yesterday I had to jump through hoops to get a vehicle because they would only give me one from the same manufacturer. And after waiting for hours and close to closing they put me in a vehicle that reeks of smoke and they haphazardly attempted to cover the scent with chemicals causing a headache inducing smell. And while this is another location it is the same company. But because of this he refused to give me a vehicle. States that he cannot get me back to dealership. Will not give me a vehicle that he has outside that could replace the one at home from the other manufacture. And tells me well that sucks when I say I'm stranded before talking to the person behind me. Very rude and inconsiderate service. And I'm now left with an enterprise vehicle that reeks at home that I haven't been able to replace yet at the other branch. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your rental needs. Enterprise has always been good to me in the past but avoid this place and find another location.. If you absolutely have to use this location my best advice DO NOT DEAL with a woman named SYDNEY!!! I was told on the phone that my car rental would be $32 a day. When i showed up to this location Sydney (women) told me it would be $46 a day. I found a Hertz in tempe for $32 a day. When i was leaving she told me she would put her personal employee discount in and make sure i would get the car for $32 a day. She just asked me to say a few good words about her to corporate who was visiting that Friday. I thanked her and addressed with her corporate manager that she did a great job because it saved me time and I have prior obligations I had to attend too. When I return the car the man I returned it to informed me my bill was going to be much more than I intended, at the rate of $42 including full coverage insurance. I told him that must be a mistake because Sydney personally told me that she gave me a $32 Rate and no insurance. he relayed to me they would figure it out and give me a call within 3 to 5 business days. Three weeks later they charged my card for over $300.... Its not about the money, its about the principle and ethics of business being conducted this way in our community.... She lied to me, asked me to put in a few good words to her corporate boss, then hustled me and overcharge me! I would recommend any place but here, but if you have to come to this location... I made a reservation and confirmed everything by phone to come down and pick up a car while mine was getting some work done. I arranged for a ride and got dropped off and then when I got here I was informed that I could not pay for the car with a Visa debit card. That was not disclosed before and I have rented dozens of cars from other establishments with this very card and never had a problem. I ended up stranded at their office for 20 minutes waiting for another ride and while I walked out the staff was giggling over my annoyance. They found my inconvenience to be funny. So I was out a couple of hours and $20 in Uber fare and I will never return to Enterprise. read more

Let's just say I will never rent a car again from Enterprise. Last Oct (2017) I rented a vehicle from Enterprise and drove to the LA area for a conference from AZ. I knew there were toll roads out there so I asked about there little box they rent for that purpose. The employee had no idea what I was talking about and the manager told me if I used a toll road it would be paid and there would be a service charge of 3.95 each day a toll was used. When I arrived at my hotel I checked again with the onsite Enterprise office about the tolls. I was told the same thing as I was back where I picked up the car. So to save time I used a toll toll lane a couple of times. I expected a charge of the tolls plus 7.00 since I used the toll lanes 2 separate days. Well that's not what I received. What I received was a violation notice stating Enterprise informed us you rented the vehicle during the time of the toll violations occurred. The notice also stated there was a 50.00 fine for each violation. My tolls totaled 14.00 my fines 200.00. I called Enterprise the day I received this violation notice about 30 days after my trip. The customer service people were not able to handle the issue and escalated it to the regional Manager and told me I would receive a call back within 48 business hours. Well that never happened. Called customer service again said they would escalate it but I received no call back. I paid the 214.00 as time ran out before the fines increased to 100.00 per occurrence. I gave up after a month of promised call backs. Now 6 months later I get a bill from Enterprise for 14.00 for tolls. I about lost it. After calming down I called the number on the notice explained this was paid already by me along with 200.00 in fines. The rep did not seem to care and said he would waive it. Two weeks later I get another notice for 14.00 from Enterprise. I called again got transferred to the toll department they took down my information and said a regional manager would be calling me. In two days it will be 45 days of waiting for this call back. Just a warning do not believe what the rental agents say, don't use toll roads as if you rent a vehicle from Enterprise they will not pay the toll they will give your information to the toll authority and your 3.95 fee they tell you about for them paying the tolls will increase dramatically. I will not and suggest you don't either use Enterprise as they do seem to throw you under the bus and leave you with fines to pay. So for using a toll section a total of 4 times over two days cost 200.00 not 7.00 if I knew about this ahead of time I would not have used the toll section. read more

Was sent here for by Earnhardt Jeep for a loaner while my Jeep had some warranty work done. We waited at the dealership to be picked up by Enterprise for about 30 minutes. The pick up vehicle was an Escalade. Once we got to Enterprise we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. They explained the rental agreement throughly and I left with no questions. Dropping off the vehicle took less then 10 minutes and by the time I made it back to my hotel room I had the final receipt which was e-mailed to me. The service rep offered me a hard copy but I told him that e-mail was fine. I didn't wait at all for the shuttle back to the dealership. The rental vehicle was clean and actually larger than my Jeep. I thought the process was fairly seemless. I would use them again. read more

I had to rent a car after mine was in an accident and in the shop. Let's start by saying I got picked up at the collision center in 10 minutes by Mike and I believe the front desk man was named Adam. He found my reservation and got me into a car in less than 15 minutes. Even when they were super busy. And when I dropped off I was just as easy. Mike wrote down my mileage and gas and Adam got me out the door. Mike took me to get my car and they all had the best service. I will be renting my cars from this location from now on. Had my Jeep being worked on at the dealership and needed a loaner...ended up at Enterprise near quitting time and it was busy as a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. I've noticed how patience is not only a virtue but becoming more rare these days. Short and sweet, a young red-haired woman named Maggie...I believe...was calm in the eye of the storm. She was making things happen, coming up with solutions to make the customers happy, (myself included) and all with a great attitude to boot. Refreshing. I suppose there were things to complain about if you wanted to. I saw employees trying to accommodate people that think 15 minutes is a long time to wait for anything and in the midst of it all a young lady with grit and personality that exceeded my expectations. I have been using Enterprise since 1987 when I resided in the northeast, now in the South West I have continued to use them.Never but I mean never I have had any issues at all and Enterprise is my car rental company and that of many friends and business associates. Well this got cloudy when the manager of the location Syed Tirmisi manipulated, humiliated, mistreated and disrespected my wife to incredible levels. I just found out over this weekend otherwise this would have been posted a while ago. For personal reasons my wife needed to rent a car for an extended amount of time starting on May 2017 up until July 30th,granted she did spend over $2000 dollars. This individual broke every promise made to my wife regarding the treatment she would receive, ignored every instruction about which credit card to use depending on continuous funds available, he charged the wrong credit card on file without permission, accused my wife of lying, attempted to pin on my wife's bill $ 900 dollars of the supplemental insurance that Enterprise offers which my wife declined and it did take a few copies to be faxed to this guy Syed because he said they had lost their original copy or not saved it in their Samsung tablets,( I do not believe that) and the last week he was on a rampant chase after my wife for a remaining balance of $300 which was going to be paid of course after 3 months of rental you kind of get to know the renter's integrity so you do not have to worry if they do not return the first call because she was busy. Mr, Sayed Tirmisi put in motion almost all the rules under which he was raised which by the way , here in the USA we respect women and we do not make them feel like us men are more intelligent , powerful or better in any way or make attempts to humiliate them at all unless you are a psychopath, a rapist , a criminal or somebody like this manager who should think twice abut bringing his cultural and upbringing habits to the place of work , let alone in the great Nation were women are not given the rock treatment, or get rocks thrown at them for the lack of better details. To make things worse because my wife got a little upset and let this guy know (in a nice manner of )that she was upset he deliberately blocked her from renting at Enterprise. By the way, our faith in the Lord helped us purchase a new vehicle and now she will not be needing the services of Enterprise, the company where we bought her car OFFERS loaners. I believe this should be promptly escalated to the Corporate offices to avoid future ladies go through a similar situation and perhaps US Citizens, BORN in the US of Hispanic descent can avoid going through this charade. My husband rented a truck for the weekend--when they were doing the inspection upon pickup, my husband noted to Tony that there were several scratches on the vehicle. Tony was very non-chalent about it saying "Not a big deal--they will buff out." When my husband returned the truck, Tony said he was going to file a claim on our insurance for the scratches that were ALREADY ON THE TRUCK. The same scratches that Tony had noted on inspection and said were no big deal. It's a good thing my husband bought the damage waiver (which we have never done in our life) since my husband had a bad vibe from this guy from the start. The red head lady here (Maggy) is incredibly rude and answers the phone mid conversation with a customer at the front desk. My girlfriend was trying to get a rental car, and she was talking down to her the entire time without giving her a chance to speak. Hyundai called for them to come pick me up. Waiting for an hour. Blame on both Hyundai and enterprise. I come sit finally get help. The young man helps me. Another customer walks up he told him I'll be right with you after he told me to follow him outside. He walks out and starts helping the walk up guy. We left inside. My son walks out to check him, he tells my son he told me let me help him...my son said no you didnt...so I'm so done....very unprofessional. The customer rep that was very rude his name was Anthony. After he told me he would be right in to help me. He started waiting on other people without even saying anything to me. I waited for a minute. After I noticed he was not helping again he started helping other customer as if I wasnt there he didnt acknowledge when he came back in so I asked what's up I did use a few @#$% which is not who I am as a person... Anthony was very rude and started arguing with me saying he did tell me and my son was right there and he told him no you did not...he continued arguing with me in front of other customers very unprofessional again. He went on to tell me "well you wouldn't know the protocol because you dont work here" that's when I really went off...once again not who I am....Kevin his MANAGER was very nice and Continue to apologize for the INCONVENIENCE he shouldn't have had to do that... I called back to find put what the rude man name and they told me they couldnt give me that information. Which I have never been told that after I just told him the I was just there. So that just tells me he knew who I was and he didnt want me to know his name. Well, i called corporate and by them asking for my invoice number the rep. Let me know who the rude person's name. Whitney was the absolute nicest customer service representative that I've ever encountered in an enterprise service center and will definitely make repeat customers of us. The rental process was easy and quick and I felt confident in the cleanliness and sanitation process of our car that we rented. The young man that checked us in upon return was nice and friendly. Mike, the gentleman that gave us a ride Home was incredibly friendly and personable. Seriously, the best service. I had a poor experience with this location. I had to keep calling to get an update on my rental. They said they'd pick me up and kept me waiting with no updates. I waited an hour to get picked up when they said it would take 20 minutes. When I called to ask why it was taking so long, I was told matter-of-factly that the driver tried picking me up but didn't see me. No one bothered to call me. Once I got to the location, I saw about five people waiting: I was told I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour for my car when I already had a reservation. I ended up cancelling my reservation and calling Hertz. They called a Lyft for me and texted me with updates--and I had a rental right away. I was so happy that I went to Hertz and ditched Enterprise. Hertz was my hero that day. read more

Maggy from this enterprise location was assisting me and I have NEVER experienced such horrible service. In a crisis situation with trying to handle a rental through insurance, Maggy was completely dismissive when attempting to help and made me feel like an inconvenience by talking down to the client and myself, answering phone calls while trying to talk to her, while 4 other employees were standing by a phone with no clients and much more. I just rented a car from here and it was FILTHY! It was obviously not clean at all! The windows were smeared as though they sprayed some water on it and just "tried" to wipe it. There was dead bugs already on the windshield, which confirms the car was not washed. The inside was DISGUSTING! There's cigarette ashes in the car and a film of dust in the car, I'm guessing because the previous renter was a smoker, he left the windows down so the car wouldn't smell like smoke! The console is obviously dusty and dirty, not sure how Enterprise would even consider renting a DIRTY car out! This is bad customer service and awful representation of the company! I tried contacting another location, but they stated I would have to bring the car back to this location to get cleaned, which makes no sense as I thought their moto was to pick up and drop off a car from "any" of their convenient locations!!! read more

I was having a difficult day with my car breaking down and struggling with the poor service at the dealer. My mood was low and I was done with dealing with any service providers. This place is where you want to go for a rental car, I just finished my 2nd rental in a month and both times were great. Jason and Kevin made the process extremely fast, it took me less than 5 minutes to get my car and about 60 seconds to return it. I asked Jason when I returned my car if they had a shuttle to give me a ride home. Jason jumped in the car I just returned and said get in and he drove me home. Also the manager Ryan sent me a text from his personal cell phone advising me if I needed anything to contact him. After this experience I will not rent at any other place unless they are out of cars. read more
