The worst experience ever. The rep knew exactly what our needs were before I sent my wife and son in for a rental. This was as all negotiated beforehand. The entire story changed after my family arrived. Needless to say this Goshen facility is now labeled as infamous up-seller & slimy car salesman. "Holy Batmobile Batman!" I needed a rental while our car was getting repairs after a deer decided he wanted a ride without permission. Needless to say I don't recommend any human or animal try entering a vehicle while it's moving. The deer didn't survive trying to hitch a ride on a moving vehicle. The guys that were present during my rental were simply amazing. They offered a very generous upgrade, the Batmobile, which I politely declined. They even offered to give the rental a car wash, unfortunately it was late in the day and the car wash business was closed but that was a really nice gesture. The small rental car they loaned me fulfilled my transportation needs and when we returned the rental they guys were just as amazing as when we rented in providing us a ride back home. I don't rent often but our vehicle was being repaired from the tragic deer impact and the staff at this Enterprise location made the rental process easy peasy. They did put a hold on my credit card for like $800 but I was completely ok with that since it was just a hold and not a charge. So if your credit limit isn't high then you may want to ask what kind of holds the rental agency requires but I was ok with whatever hold they wanted since my credit limit is insanely high. I was only charged for the exact amount I was quoted during the rental and any credit card holds were released. read more

I truly have never in my life been treated so horribly by someone who considers himself any type of "manager," let alone another human being on this planet. Assistant manager Michael, was given an opportunity to help myself, my mother, and four of my bridesmaids who were broken down 3 hours away from home after renting a vehicle from our local enterprise office. Instead of doing ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING... He instantly tried turning us away telling us there were "no cars in the lot," when in fact there were. When asked "well then what's that?" Referring to a car parked in the lot, he stated the model of the car and chuckled. When asked again, "is that a rental?" He stated, "yeah, but you can't have it." The rental car we arrived in was deemed unsafe and undriveable by the garage MICHAEL sent us to. We had no options. We contacted our local office, they had stated no local office was giving up a car for us. They had attempted to send an Uber to us but it canceled, and where this Uber was taking us, I HAVE NO CLUE. Our local office had offered to send us a car but this would be another 3 hours, and we still had four more hours on the road to Boston (where my sister had already been since 8 AM and couldn't get into our hotel until we got there) we got on the phone with customer service thinking they could assist us- they called the store, Michael put them on hold, starting helping new customers who were coming into the store right infront of us. He then went hiding in the bathroom for a few minutes and the proceeding to exit out the side door into the garage. Leaving customer service on hold. He never returned. Customer service hung up on us, never called us back. Our local office called and requested to speak to Michael, while we were attempting to get his attention, he was ignoring us all and washing cars. The only good thing about this place was the worker JOHN, who kept referring to himself as "a no one" in the office and "bottom of the totem pole," and couldn't call any shots or he would have done more for us.. he offered to speak to our local office but couldn't do much more. The one and only reason we got out of that HELL HOLE, is because a truck came back to be returned and John said we could have it. John cleaned it for us quick and we ran out of there. I would 1000% never in a million years recommend this office- let alone this COMPANY to ANYONE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I had a terrible experience with these guys. They rented me a car that had a slow leak. Denied it had an issue even though it was plainly evident. Then offered an upgrade I didn't want but had to pay for because they didn't have any other cars available. Huge hassle and run around and dishonesty. I would absolutely never deal with them again. Their business practices are unseemly -- and unsafe to drivers. read more

First off, let me say this was my first time at this Enterprise location and I was a bit nervous because I usually rent from the location in Hillside, NJ. I've been renting from Enterprise for nearly 10 years and rarely take the insurance that is offered, including this time. On my way to return the car, a rock hit the windshield and wouldn't you know it, a crack! Well, I went in and Tyler, a manager there was so helpful and understanding. I was feeling bad about the car and now having something to deal with, instead turning in the keys and walking out. Even with the cracked windshield, I walked out of there in 15 mins or so. I called my insurance, reported it, and the next day Tyler called and said the crack was repaired for barely no cost and my insurance would not be charging me my deductible! It was as if nothing ever happened! I'm so thankful for Tyler! He'll definitely see me again! read more

I made a reservation for a rental for sat 8/1/15 to 8/3/15. I was to pick up the car at 9 am 10 mins. before I get a call from the office that they didn't have a car for me and there was nothing they could do for me.I call the main number to complain and they set me up with a car from the new Hampton office. I was told to call them so they can pick me up where I drop off my personal car for repairs.i call and as par their terrible service so far I was told they couldn't pick me up.now im stranded. I pay the tow truck driver 20 bucks to drop me off. wait it gets better. I was told they needed $250.00 deposit on my credit card. I go to use my card the next day and there is a $564.00 hold. now im stuck again trying to make a purchase. I will never use enterprise again. if you do GOOD LUCK read more

We came here after dealing with horrible customer service at Hertz. Leonard was friendly, professional, and courteous. My dad is a stickler about details ("We aren't going to get charged for that ding in the hood, right?") and Leonard handled him so patiently. Beware, Service and professionalism way down from what they used to be. Prices are extremely high expecially around Jewish holidays. The phone tree is terrible since you now cant talk to local offices - just main headquarters who when you do finally manage to reach are rude and non caring. Also... all vehicle are always rented out on empty gas tanks ......they know full well a person returning a car cant gauge a tank driving any distance on a highway so they do that on purpose to make extra money. Leaving your car now when you take a long vacation is a huge issue since you can only be picked up by the closest office...which in my case is not the Goshen office l use to prefer, Beware of all their tricks and schemes. read more

Generally speaking, I only rent a car when I travel. Rarely do I rent on when I am close to home.. Last week, I made an exception to that rule. I needed a car in a hurry for an unexpected business meeting and I was limited as to when and where I could pick it up. The closest location with the most reasonable prices was Enterprise in Goshen, so I reserved on line and headed over there to pick up my rental. When I entered the office and gave my name, the Manager, Tyler W., and the Assistant Manager, John M. immediately saw to it that I was in and out quickly, but not before giving me a few tips on the new technology in the car. I found their customer service skills and friendly service very refreshing compared to what I am accustomed to at airports. Nice work guys, and kudos to Enterprise for the obvious great training you give to your workers. I am a very satisfied customer, and I will be back! Thanks. read more

I rented (past tense) from Enterprise through a corporate account several times a month for 3+ years. Enterprise changes local branch managers every couple of months and up to this point I only had positive things to say from renting from this branch. I recently rented a vehicle from Goshen and blew a tire in MA. I could not get a replacement vehicle until the following day and had to stay overnight in MA which increased my rental period one day. When I returned to Goshen with the replacement vehicle, I explained the situation to the manager and asked that they take the additional day off my rental. His response was, I don't understand why this is my problem. In addition, I got a claim for damage to the replacement vehicle and at the time I checked it in, no damage was noted. I received the claim in the mail with zero information. When I called they indicated the branch in MA would not pursue the claim because most likely, it was existing damage. Do yourself a favor and rent a vehicle from another car company (my husband also has a corporate rental account through hertz and his rates are better, they don't charge a fee for one way rentals, and he has never had an issue). Or at least consider renting from a larger branch such as New Hampton, NY or Newburgh, NY. Better customer service and better trained employees. read more

If I could give this place zeros stars I would. We reserved an SUV for business purposes for one day from 9 am to 5 pm. Although we were running a little late we did not think that there would be no car available. We went to heck in, and there was nobody to be found in the office. After saying "hello?" a few times we finally heard a " be there in a minute" yelled from a back room. We then patiently waited about 10 minutes while listening to the man answer 5-6 phone calls before showing his face. I could over ear these conversations and they all entailed him saying" sorry we are understaffed", "yeah we really screwed the pooch with this" and " sorry, not really my problem". After I said" hello? " again, he again yelled back at us saying" I said I would be right there!". He came out in a huff and asked us what we wanted. He looked up the reservation and said "oh yeah we dont have any suvs right now". We asked why they would take a reservation for a car they don't have , he said" well you are late so that's what happens". Since when does reserving a car between specific hours that we were willing to pay for, does not include holding the car for us during that time? At this point it was obvious that he was not going to help us, so I said " well this really sucks" and he said to me " you do too, have a great day" and just walked away again. I rented a car without examining it closley, BIG MISTAKE! Iam now paying for damage in the wheel well, yes the WHEEL WELL, also a scuff on the rear quaterpanel and one on the hood. I drove the car one way direct only stopped for gas and did not do any of this damage iam EXTRENELY unhappy with this experience. I will avoid enterprise in the future. read more
