Made a reservation 3 months in advance for a full size SUV for a vacation trip. Arrived to no vehicle. Was told "its hard for them to get full size SUVs" and the THREE people in the store were very much unwilling to do anything to help. Again, I made the reservation THREE months in advance. Called the 800 number and demanded a supervisor. Got sent to the airport. DONT BOTHER RENTING FROM HERE. Just go to the airport or use a different company. read more

They gave us the wrong car and doesn't fit ANYTHING!!! We are a family of 6 and we were supposed to get a van but got stuck with a Dodge Durango which is absolutely terrible. We paid about over $1,000 for the van and we only got $150 off. We will never be returning to this location of enterprise ever again. I've always had great experiences, random upgrade offers, limited surprised fees, etc. The cars have always been clean and I've had specific car features explained to me before use. Been going to the Camp road enterprise for years. We rented a car two weeks ago. Got to Florida, and the tags on the vehicle were expired. Called Danni and told her about the issue. She advised us if we get pulled over to have the police call her that the vehicle is registered. Well, we got pulled over and it was not registered. It was the end of April and they had been expired since April 1. He was very nice cut us a break and advised we get the vehicle swapped out which we did. Enterprise in Florida was very surprised that they do not check on the registrations. They were very kind and gave us a different vehicle that has fleet on the license plates, which the man told us it means they're always registered. My wife talk to Matt and Hamburg about the issue and he was apologetic. Told us don't worry about returning the vehicle full and he was gonna put big bold note on the account stating that. When we return the vehicle, he said you never replace the gas. My wife had told him about Matt and what he stated about don't worry about gas. Well, it was Matt himself that inspect the vehicle. When my wife reminded him of that, he said, don't worry I'll take care of it, but I gave you a 10% discount. Which we always got because I am a veteran. My suggestion is you re-train these people at enterprise in Hamburg on Camp Road. Very forgetful and very unprofessional. Again, I've been going there for years and will never go there again. Absolutely awful! My wife rented a car Monday as her car was being repaired due to an accident. As she gets in her rental, the entire car smells like an ashtray. Interesting that their cars are smoke free.. She goes in to tell the rep at the desk which they do nothing but say ok. What a joke! She calls the next day to see if they can switch it out as she's paying an arm and a leg for a disgusting vehicle. They say they will see what they can do. This morning the check engine light comes on along with the tire pressure sensors for low tire pressure. It is obvious this company does not check to see what condition the vehicles are in for the next customer. Pure laziness! I will be contacting their corporate office to see if there is any remedy they can come up with to solve this awful service! Never rent from this company. While having my car repaired next door at West Herr I rented a car from this location. I was given a very beat up and dirty car with stains all over. As I drove away the tire light alarm was blinking. By this time I realized this I was on my way to work and wondered why the rep didnt see it- his answer - I missed it. Thereafter I had more problems with a charge to my credit card that was not authorized. Talked to Ryan the manager twice over 2 weeks. He was rude, unresponsive, lazy, and never ever returned my call. I asked how does my credit card get charged without my authorization - of course none of this slip shod crew had a reply. When I handed in my keys - I said am I all set and they answered yes- it wasnt until a month later when I looked at my CC statement that I noticed the charge. Go elsewhere.....they call themselves a family business...I call it a SCAMily business. read more

Excellent service and the car was clean and ready. They are closed on Sundays but allowed for a two day rental since I stated I dropped the car off when the office was closed. Don't try to leave your car there though they have a very limited number of stops. Opt for the pickup option. read more

I rent a car every week for work- I have my choice of agency and location but choose the Hamburg, Enterprise every time. Phil and his team provide outstanding customer service. They go above and beyond to make sure I'm safe and comfortable. They follow up with me, but not at the end of the rental period but on the second day to make sure everything is going well. I've watched the entire team in action- assisting customers with baby seats, reviewing car features and making sure the cars were warm and ready. I just wanted to recognize them and tell them that I appreciate how hard they work and the excellent service they provide. read more

I don't even have the car yet and spent more than two hours getting inconsistent quotes and promises. None of which was confirmed in writing as promised. The guy who "helped" me was rude and dismissive. He started out difficult, unyielding or helpful. He quoted me a higher price than the reservation center quoted me, by 150%+ daily. Yes, you read that right. The reservation center said my full share per day will be .12 with all fees and taxes. Total after four days is .49. He said my share would be almost $2 a day. It doesn't matter how small the amount, it is the lack of integrity in trying to rip off consumers that was upsetting. Reviews already put me on alert that this office had issues with transparency and honesty. I told him I'm concerned about their reviews on line and the dirty vehicles and customer service complaints. He starts making excuses. I stopped him in his tracks and said I want a clean car, no excuses for a dirty one or a bad attitude. I'm tell him I'm leaving work to do this and please have everything ready. Again, I got resistance and attitude. He said they require a debit card for security at $50/day. I already read complaints about the long time it takes to get back the amount charged and, Enterprise in Hamburg charging more than authorized. These are all public reviews for everyone to read. The employee said cash is not accepted when I refused to leave them my debit card based on reviews, in spite of their web site policies stated. I knew then if he started out difficult to with, like the reviews on line, this was not going to go well. I'm being told something different than what insurance told me and what Enterprise web site says. I told him I'm going to my insurance company when he said there was no one else I could talk to there. He could have cared less about making sure Enterprise maintained a good relationship with USAA members. Insurance asked me to call another number they gave me. Call center (Molly) tells me the Hamburg guy quoted me more than MY actual cost and said my full cost for 4 days would be .49. FULL COST. Molly then said they don't accept cash. Molly ignores me pointing out their web page says cash is accepted and immediately reimbursed when the car is returned at the same time. Frustrated beyond tolerance now, I ask for email confirmation of the .49 for 4 days as my FULL responsibility expecting Hamburg to deny the amount she just quoted me. Molly has to send me to "escalated" so I can get an email confirming the reservation and total amount due because Molly can't send the email. What a mess. Escalation: Monica confirms .49 my TOTAL responsibility for four days. I said I'll pay cash for my security deposit (as I'm looking at their web page stating cash is an acceptable form of payment which also entitles me to "immediate reimbursement" per their own website). Otherwise, it is 5-10 business days for a refund of the "deposit." Enterprise has a marked number of complaints of people "waiting 10 business days and then calling when it isn't there and being put off longer and told they will investigate." That is an unacceptable business practice. . Monica proceeds to tell me that cash is not accepted. I'm looking at their own business rental page and it is in black and white, cash security deposit is acceptable as an option. I've now spent nearly 2.5 hours in one day to try and get a straight consistent answer, price and confirmation from three different individuals, including an escalated department just to get a confirmation in writing!!! I told her to just send the confirmation, now angry. I hung up furious with the games they play at the consumers expense from false representations on their web site, different rate quotes for the same vehicle from the same place, and more. Enterprise has now been given my phone number and email, and insurance claim confirmed directly they will pay my allowed amount. I was contacted by a rep from Enterprise, via email, a month ago about this. I'm also getting spam emails and calls from them so they definitely have my information. It is now Friday night, I need the car Monday, no confirmation email from Monica of my vehicle has been received. Monica promised me she would send it, confirming .49 as my total share for 4 full days. Since I haven't received an email. I have no vehicle confirmation number or confirmation of my responsible amount. I now have to go through this all over again tomorrow. If I had another option through my insurance, I would. Three different price quotes (different one online) and not one person followed through. Don't, just don't deal with this office or Enterprise. Read the reviews. Most of the local positive reviews are obviously solicited when you see them clustered together. There appear to be a few legitimate positive reviews. read more

Then I needed to upgrade my vehicle for a weekend trip with the family and nothing was available. I almost cancelled when I got a call with a vehicle ask set to go! I will no longer be renting from this location again and advising others to do the same. I am appalled of how low the level of client satisfaction is at this location - if I could give 0 stars I would. Normally I don't do this sort of thing (writing reviews) but I felt compelled to with my most recent interaction with them. Not only have I personally witnessed the employees making jokes about not wanting to answer the phone, but they also talk about other clients after they leave. They overbook their cars all the time. Most recently someone I know well had to attend a very important engagement out of town and once again they overbooked. He personally felt very little was done to accommodate this situation and they took no ownership on this... they made him feel he was the problem. If you are running a business, and if you tell someone you will have something, you should have it. He witnessed the employees go into an office and start whispering about him and then as the employees left the office they kept on looking at him like he was the problem. I won't say the name of the employee that has really been at the root of these issues, but he really needs to understand he is not better than anyone else. To me, this behavior is sad and unacceptable. It bothers me that people feel they can act like this because they work behind a counter, they are allowed to pass judgement on people. I'm not even TOUCHING the fact that almost every time I, or someone I know, has rented from them, there has been an issue where they don't have a car when a car has been confirmed. Save yourself the trouble, and rent from a different location. We have had great experiences at the Orchard Park Location. Again, I understand things happen, but to consistently witness this situation happen over and over again, I will no longer be supporting this business. read more

Horrible! If I could give no stars I would. The worker I dealt with was a cartoon used cars salesman from the 1970s come to life. All he cared about was scamming me out of money. Had no 4 door cars in the price range I booked so instead of calling another enterprise to get one to the lot he made me upgrade and pay for it. At first he said it was just $4 a day but when we got inside it ended up be $10!! He was smacking gum and never stopped talking. He was very loud and rude. Made me feel uncomfortable from start to finish. When I came back to drop off the car I had hoped he wouldn't be there, but he was. Just as awful. Tried to get me to write down something nice about him and my experience with enterprise, but I had nothing. Again, putting me in an uncomfortable situation. Just awful! Not to mention that I only booked with them with because they advertised a better deal than the other companies but ended up being way more expensive, over $100 more. Scammers! Scummy! Terrible! This fiasco began with the Orchard Park office. I had an appointment about 1/2 mile up the road from them and this was very convenient. Pick-up time was 3:45, 25 minutes later I called their office to be told that it would be dispatched from the Hamburg branch as they were closer! (Hamburg office 21.4 miles, Orchard Park office 23.5 miles) This was never communicated to me, no apology, just, "call the Hamburg office." Called that office to be told that they had not yet gotten approval from the insurance company! Again, as I gave them my Insurance claim number and got a confirmation number from Enterprise, no-one ever said anything about that! So now I'm already running late for my appointment and I'm asked if I would like them to send a driver out as soon as one becomes available?!! or would I like to reschedule? I'm out-of-town for work and their careless, horrible customer service and non-existent communication skills cost me. I took time off work to make this happen and have to reschedule everything. Then to top things off, I got home later that night to find a message on my home phone from Enterprise (from 3:10pm) to confirm! I never gave them my home number, and they never tried the number I gave them when I set up the reservation, my cell number! What a stressful nightmare!!! Both locations need remedial training on customer service and communication. read more

I made a reservation online through Orbitz and rented a car from this location, and suffered my FIRST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE after years of pleasant ones of renting from Enterprise all across the country. The representative at the counter was extremely disrespectful and rude when I asked him why the agreement showed $110+ when my reservation clearly stated $75 or so. Instead of explaining why, he almost threateningly asked me: "Do you want the car or not?" I asked him why he was so rude and if he behaved this way with all his customers (he was clearly nicer with other renting customers who were white, I am not white, and I felt discriminated against.) When I said I would like to speak to the manager, he changed his tone saying he is actually giving me a Corolla when I would get a smaller one per my reservation and wouldn't charge me extra. I told him I wouldn't mind a smaller car but he still needed to explain the difference. He reluctantly told the charge would be $75. He was not ready to tell me the miles on the car until I signed the agreement. I almost walked out canceling the reservation but needed to drive to Niagara and realized there was no other rental location close by (which I think was another reason why he was so rude). Anyway, the car was fine and he later tried to make up by offering me hand-drawn directions at the back of the agreement (when I asked for a map, he didn't give me one). I was glad I did not have to see him again as I returned the car at the airport! Overall, he spoiled my holiday mood by his rude behavior. Never again will I rent from this location! read more
