My most recent experience was significantly better. The location has improved, I was able to get my rental car much quicker, and communication throughout the process was noticeably better. The staff was more responsive and the overall experience was much smoother than my previous visits. I appreciate the improvements and the effort to provide a better customer experience. Based on this most recent experience, I'm comfortable updating my rating to 4 stars. Hopefully Enterprise continues in this direction. read more

My rental from Enterprise is my option because I am having a shop work on my truck. My experience felt personal in the way they wanted to see another happy customer, and that's exactly how I feel: happy I went to Enterprise! I am very happy with the service and professionalism from the support staff here. I had spent the previous 2 days trying to rent a vehicle from an overpriced competitor (t*r0). After 3 attempts at getting something i was going to be happy with, I followed my better-halfs recommendation and decided to rent a luxury vehicle through Enterprise on 103rd. I wasn't immediately expecting anything however my rental was dropped off after my reservation time. I was given a rental for the time and when the luxury vehicle was returned, their office contacted me right away. If i have to do it this way and have no pressing plans, I would go with this option again. Ms. Kenyans (Branch Manager) and her team there on 103rd did the very best with what they had to work with in my situation, and with no plans to immediately drive any distances, I was happy to work with them too. I will NEVER use this location again. I reserved a car in advance online through my company. I received a call after hours the night before my trip telling me they have no cars. WTF? I asked for the reservation to be transferred to another location. The lady says they are all in the same situation. However, I was able to successfully reserve another car with a better location. I rented a vehicle from here and the engine light came on about a week later. So I was told at the original location they didn't have another rental equivalent to what I had already rented So It was a process and I was disappointed and exhausted because I went to five different locations including the airport rental location but this location on 103rd St. Jax, Fl accommodated me with no hesitation and no problems especially I was leaving them with a vehicle that was not operable. This is the only Enterprise who doesn't pick up customers who doesn't have a ride. The manager Muhammad excuse for no pick up is you live 15 min away it's too far. Then the next excuse we have no employees or retailers to pick you up. So how is this enterprise operating? No retailers to clean vehicles and no employees to work. This location had one sedan available and it had low air pressure, which I had to get taken care of later in the day. They told me to take the car to a Goodyear that didn't exist. When I called back, they were not helpful. The car had less than 1/4 tank of gas at pickup. Luckily the car was clean and the pickup service was quick. I scheduled a reservation with this specific location for a suv pickup on 2/24/23. I specifically called that morning to confirm they had my reservation and that they had a suv avail before I came up there. I spoke with a guy who placed me on hold and said that they had vehicles avail and for me to come up to that location. I get there, not even 30 mins after that conversation and the guy behind the counter acknowledged me and then got on the phone. I assumed he was talking to someone from a different branch based on his conversation which was very unprofessional while customers were in the lobby. He spoke about how Enterprise has him jumping from one location to the next to help out and spoke on how he didn't like a manager at a different location all while "helping" me. He stayed on the phone complaining about how this wasn't his location and handed me a tablet and pointed. I wasn't sure what he was needing because he clearly wasn't giving me the full attention and didn't explain what was needed. I just looked at him and then he whispered, fill in an emergency contact. Which I did. Then he said the manager (a woman) would be in to help me. We waited for a short period of time when a lady came in, she took the phone from the guy and talked to whoever was on the phone for a short time and then called me up saying they didn't have any suvs avail but she could show me what they did have. I specifically called up there that morning to confirm before driving there and was told they had a vehicle avail. She said they were getting a shipment in early afternoon and would call me Around 3pm. Because I didn't want to cause a scene, I agreed for them to give me a call even tho it would put me behind in my scheduled trip. Today is 2/27 and I still haven't gotten a call. Thank Goodness I knew they were on BS and went ahead and placed a reservation with another company which was wayyy more helpful than enterprise. The service was great however the rental car was a little dirty. There was food crumbs in the door on the passenger side and the seats had cigarette burns and dirt stains. There was also a slight cigarette smoke smell. We always rent from Enterprise and get good service however the cars could use a little bit more care read more

1 star for 103rd St. location in Jacksonville FL 5 stars for Starke, Florida location I made a reservation via phone well over a week prior to the date I was requesting to have my rental available. The 103rd St, Jacksonville, Florida branch gave me reservation #662328 and they asked what time I needed to be picked up. I told them at 8:00 AM. They told me that they open at 7:30 and would have someone leave from their location and come to MacClenny Florida as soon as they open. At 8:15 when there was no car available I called and they tell me they don't service the location I have made reservations for. No call prior to let me know. I was stranded and almost made late for work. Approx 20 minutes later they called to tell me they were requesting Uber come to get me (Uber doesn't service MacClenny). I would think they would know when you make a reservation if you're outside of the area, and I would think that you would be notified if anything changes. With the help of my repair facility, we called the Starke, Florida branch and they located a car in my exact area and had me on the road in 15 minutes. read more

Wally was extremely helpful from this location albeit there were a few quirks. As I could not pick up the vehicle at the airport location (SUV), he did arrange for a one-way, one-day (compact) rental from the airport-hotel to the 103rd street location. a) They were unable to email me a confirmation number for my rental in advance. b) I requested a 15 passenger van, was told that Enterprise did not rent those vehicles for out-of-state travel (FL to VA). The online reservation system showed that the vehicles were unavailable. This was contrary to an (Enterprise) rental (for the same vehicle type) during the previous three week period from (WA to CA). So my vehicle choice became a large SUV. Upon arrival at the 103 st location, the SUV was not available; although I did see a few at the airport location, they gave me a 15-passenger van...go figure. c) Gas was nearly empty. read more

I had a rental reservation and the day before pickup, I called to confirm my reservation with them at the 103rd location. The next morning at 8am I called to be picked up and was advised that I didn't have a reservation with them and after having to defend the fact that I had spoken to someone at that location, as the rep tried to convince me I didn't call that location, providing the exact time I called per my phone records, the representative stated that they did have my reservation and somehow was transferred to the Cassat location which is not near my home. Their solution was to put me on a wait list in which I was the first on the list so when a car was available, they would call. Three hours passed and I hadn't from them, so I called at 11 to get an update, called again at 12:40, 3:00. Each time I was told that they were waiting on the vehicle to be delivered and that they would get me in a vehicle the same day. I never got one phone call from them, not even at the end of the day to apologize for not being able to get me in a vehicle as promised. I could tell by the female representatives tone that morning when I asked approximately what time should I expect to be in a vehicle, that they weren't going to work diligently to get me in a vehicle as if that question was offensive, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They never offered another solution (downgrading or upgrading vehicle, to try to get a vehicle from another location), in fact, they acted as if they were doing me a favor by putting me on a wait list when they clearly saw that I had a reservation and the mixup was on their end. Needless to say, I was stranded all day long with an 8 month old baby. read more
