I almost scrapped my reservation with Enterprise due to their multiple disregard to customer service. However, since I was heading for a funeral I kept the same company begrudgingly. At the 1007 Blanding Blvd location, they were not only cold and rude but also unhelpful and disrespectful. On the other hand, Ashtin and Luc provided me with beautiful customer service, enough to make me feel comfortable with paying my hard earned money for a company that hasn't followed up with my previous complaints. Anyhoo...Ashtin and Luc both acknowledged my presence. Ashtin even followed up to make sure we'd been helped. They both balanced what was an apparent busy day and my concerns effectively. One representative at (800) 214-6094 claimed our receipt showed only 5 gallons, implying the tank wasn't full I completely ignoring the fact that adding 5 gallons can just as easily mean the tank was already nearly full and simply topped off. The second representative takes the prize, this dude, Ray Collins (Ref #110) at (800) 259-6095, who admitted there was an error. He said I need to pay $61 just to process the claim. Paying a fee to correct the company's own mistake is unacceptable and makes no sense. At that point, it was clear customer service was not interested in resolving the issue. Thankfully, Jamil from the local station later called, refunded the refueling fee, and apologized. That effort was genuinely appreciated and was the only professional part of this experience. Overall, the process was frustrating and unprofessional. This situation raises serious concerns about the company's practices and accountability. Formal complaints to the FTC, BBB, and state consumer services are being filed, because this should not be considered standard business practice.

Non compliant, hard to work with and constantly told me untruths about every situation that occurred. NEVER will I use HERTZ again. The customer service has been absolutely terrible and this time it involves my 70+ year old mother so I cannot abide. I have not even complained. However, now I feel responsible as a patron to share my experience. I don't mind having things not work out but the apathy an unwillingness to work and find resolution is my main concern. I am a personal and corporate member and this representative requested extra documentation that I have never had to provide. The representative made us wait for almost ten minutes before speaking and then made a few problematic assumptions about our ability to pay the deposit. His response was cold, short and lazy. Even after asking for a resolution or alternative, he made little to no effort to help. I will never ever come back.
