Location in Katy off Mason Road is horrible. The staff is unprofessional all the way up to the management. They treat the customers like crap. I picked up a rental at 5 in the evening on a Wednesday. I returned at 1:30 on a Saturday. The location on Mason closed at 1:00 the parking lot was full. I returned the key & was charged for a full day . I have rented from this location for the last 5 years. The staff has changed & the quality has gone down, the staff was extremely low budget. I suggest people consider other competitive car rental companies , for better deals , better service, & better professional experience.... The staff appears to be the bottom end of the totem pole when it comes to intellect . Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Katy, Texas

I went to drop off my rental car and pick up my vehicle at Autonation collision. I arrived 22 minutes before closing (6pm) and no one was at the enterprise counter. The collision center employees told me they had left just before 5:30. So I had to leave my rental key with my name on a piece of paper on the counter for them, where I found two other keys left in the same manner. Throughout having the rental, I had "change oil light come on the same week I had rented it. The low tire press light was on, and the registration expired while I had it. I notified them of these problems at least 3 times while I had the vehicle. I was told that they would find me a replacement vehicle because of the registration but they wanted me to take time out of my day to take the vehicle to a local shop and wait for the maintenance to get done, which should have been done before renting it out to someone. They never did get me a replacement vehicle, so I just kept driving on an expired Registration because I had no other choice. Basically, rental cars are in such high demand right now that they aren't maintaining them at all. The priority is to just make it look nice before pumping it out to the next customer. read more

Directed me to the reservation department to ensure my second attempt (first res was botched as well at another location so can't blame it on him in all fairness) would be successful. Upon placing my reservation with the RESERVATION DEPARTMENT, I was immediately notified that there was in fact no vehicle available for reservation. Let me tell you this is the worst location you can ever go, it is unforgetable to summarize and make it short let's start: I rented the car last Friday, they gave me a car with low pressure on the rear left tire, back seats very dirty but the real problem was I needed to stop to pump air to continue my trip. Then when arrived to my hotel I dialed the Enterprise number and when notified them everything, the lady said she will take care of that and sent us to a location where we can exchange the car. Guess what? I went there and they had no idea of having a car for us and not even with the Confirmation number the lady provided the answer was NO just go to airport!!, so that is the type of customer service and how they care! This is the Enterprise location at Autonation Ford. I made a reservation a week before, no car available. Supposedly they haven't had any cars this week?!? Why wasn't I called? Add to that I had to walk over because their phones were down and this seems to be a regular occurrence based upon the comments that I read on their log. This is the second time in 2 months I've had to get a car here because of an accident ( teenage driver.) Both Arturo and Mohamed were awesome! First time they were 30 minutes late picking me up so Arturo gave me an upgrade. Mohamed also took great care of me giving me a really nice full-size car instead of the smaller one I was expecting. This is in the Ford (dealership?) off of I10/ Katy Freeway. Look, the waiting area is decent. Super sized large TV, coffee maker and plenty comfortable seats to sit in. This place is always packed and busy, you can find yourself waiting but be prepared to find a way to entertain yourself if you have to wait. LAZ was the coordinator at this location and acknowledge that I was waiting and was apologetic for waiting. He seemed like he been there all the time and well informed of what to do if things don't go your way. He was straight forward and fast, asked questions to ensure delays. My mid-size or standard truck I reserved wasn't there so he gave me next available without holding back the "bigger" truck. He gave me an "upgrade" but that was too super-sized large kind-of truck for me. He then quickly had a plan and switched trucks. He didn't act like he didn't care, he made efforts to resolve any request I made. He had the car sprayed to mask the disgusting cigarette odor in the car because I complained. He offered to find another truck the next morning. That is all we ask nowadays is to TRY, and he did to meet my requests. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a rental car agency. My husband and I hit a deer on our way to Houston. We reported the claim to our insurance company and they referred us to Enterprise for our rental car needs. We chose to use the Auto Nation location because it was located near our home. When we finally received help, the only vehicle available was over the $30/day that insurance would cover. They had a Ford F-150 for $39/day. We were told it would just cost us an additional $9/day. We agreed. Instead the true cost was $18/day. The taxes cost more per day than the vehicle. We never received any paperwork on the vehicle because at least we would have the option of reading contract and seeing the taxes. Long story short we had the vehicle for 15 days and were charged nearly $400. I will never do business or recommend any one to Enterprise again. I have had no luck with talking to anyone above store level. Customer service is really lacking here. This was our welcome to Houston...feeling cheated, raped and robbed. read more

This is the worst location I've ever been to. You would think with it being at an very large Ford dealership and collision center they would have cars. I had a reservation they gave away that day so I went a full day without a vehicle. They promised to have another car for me the next morning. Due to business issues when I called to pick it uo I was told we didn't think you were coming so they gave hay one away also. I use my car for business and told them t was unacceptable. I was told to head that way they had an Altima for me. I get there and there is a disgusting filthy Ford Fusion wth pieces of the inside literally missing. I drove off and the smell of cigarettes and no smoke odor killer was so strong I called them not even a mile away and requested a new car. Again I was told there was nothing they could do. I called the next morning and they were able to put me in a truck which had al the pieces but smelt terrible and was filthy. They should be ashamed to even give those cars to people. Also, the people that work here have zero personality. The young female at the counter literally smiled -3 times and looked like she hated life and management was never available, go figure. Completely disappointed as I use Enterprise all the time for company business. Corporate seriously needs to look into this place. read more

Total idiots!!! Reserved a car and scheduled a 4 pm pick up. When no one showed I called for 45 minutes. It took their corporate office to get thru only to find out they HAD NO CARS AND NO ONE WAS COMING TO PICK ME UP. NO ONE CALLED EITHER!!!!!! The PUNK who answered the phone was rude and hung up after he told me they had nothing. WTF!!! I WILL NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bullshit worthless company. Called me after hours and left a message to tell me the minivan I was scheduled to pick up in 36 hours was not available because they "overbooked." But they offered to give me two cars in its place. Because THAT makes ANY sense? Called the next morning and no solution was offered. Been blowing up their customer service and social media--told several times it was "escalated" and that a regional manager would call me back to resolve the solution. It is now 2 hours from their closing time. No call. no email. NOTHING. I have scheduled with another company and will continue to make as bug of a ruckus as I possibly can. Ended up having to cancel my plans for the evening and now have to adjust around this issue that should have been avoided. Just stay away it's not worth the wasted time. read more

This place has shady business practices at best. I got a vehicle here that was provided by the dealership while my car was in service. I was told that I had to put a $50 deposit to cover taxes. No problem. 3 months later they bill my card for $140. The dealership didn't pay in time so they charged me. They are using me and my money as a bargaining chip in a battle with the dealer. This has been going on for a month now with daily phone calls to both parties. Treating your customers and their money so flippantly in a showdown with another company is a horrible business practice. I called this enterprise for two days after I got into a wreck, I got no answer. When I walk into the ford dealership two people at the enterprise desk not doing anything. Once I get there he tells me my reservation was at the other enterprise. I knew this I just wanted to check to see what type of cars they had, because the other didn't have any. He told me I would have to go back there. I get back to the other enterprise and they say they have been trying to call the Katy enterprise to see if they had any compact cars. Obviously they hadn't been able to get an answer either. I ended up having to get a different and try to find a enterprise with the car I wanted on my own. Smh.
