Worst experience ever. The LACK of things they dont tell you its insane. I feel like i was robbed by these people. I rent a vehicle for 2 weeks, returned it early (10 days) and they pretty much charged me for the whole 2 weeks still. Apparently i had a discount which i was clearly not told i had, i called to return early, not able to return in on time in local office hours They said i could do it no problem at airport but left out the part where I'd have to pay for an extra day and the fact my "discount" i didnt know i have would terminate and i would be charged more per day than i did in my first week. They talked to me as "i mean this is something logical to know" as if im dumb or renting vehicles every week. This is my first and LAST experience with this company. I feel robbed. read more

I'm not a review person but I was compelled to do so after the service I received and witnessed this morning by the employee named Daniel. My check in went fine(a call the day before to confirm my reservation and I was in my car in 15-20minutes), but the return is why this location has 5 stars. The opening time was 8am, I arrived at 7:45am and to my surprise the door was open and another couple was already being assisted. Daniel promptly and politely greeted me, fielded a phone call and had the other couple and my return complete before the scheduled opening. I was so impressed because I've rented from many companies in many states and it is often the case that not only that you would have to wait until the 8am opening, but then it's 15 minutes of getting computers turned on such. Great employee. I wish he was in the field of Pharmacy so I could attempt to poach him. read more

This place is horrible!!! We went through 3 cars before getting on that didn't smell like sewage and have who knows what stains on the seats. The car we ended up with road so bad. Then to add insult to injury because I had a Louisiana license I had to put down a $500 deposit and use my own car insurance. Stay away from this place at all costs you definitely get what you pay for. read more

Only reason I give this place 1 star is because I have to. I returned my vehicle 5 minutes after close, which was no problem because customers were still receiving cars and they gladly took my keys. The next day I receive a call that there were damages to the vehicle which I knew I did not do. After returning back to the location the gentleman who took my keys the night before and who checked my vehicle in stated that he didn't have time to check the vehicle yesterday but notice the damage when checking it in the next day. After waiting an hour I was told that they checked the camera and confirmed the vehicle was not damaged in there possession. How do you check 17 hours worth of footage in an hour. I am now forced to pay for damages to a vehicle that I know I did not cause. read more

Yep, these low ratings are deserving. The best time to come in is close to end of business day WITH A PREFILLED RESERVATION. That means complete an Enterprise profile so they won't have to fill in the information. I waited more than 1 hour for a pickup that was due in 15min. I walked down and told them cancel the pickup - do realize this was going to be a 1 star review but the Manager Al totally saved the whole process upon my return. They also kind of sold me on the Ford lil' suv but instead I'll just say I'm a fan of the panoramic sunroof. It's now 12/2/18 and it's about 2 months after the whole September wedding weekend rental and frontier was delayed which threw everything into a hinky yet they made it work by balancing the final out the door costs . I'd recommend so long as Alvin or Al can keep this crew and he's in charge then things will flow. Point to note: one worked didn't know how to get to the airport but another took us back. Was called on a Thursday and informed a vehicle matching mine in the shop was available for rent through insurance. They asked me to pickup on Friday at 2pm. Arrived on Friday at 1:30pm and they laughed and said they didn't have any vehicle and I would have to wait a few hours to get something. Manager tried giving me her card but offered no apologies and no other assistance. I would rather walk than ever do business with the trash that works at this location. read more

Conveniently located about 5-7 minutes away from the airport, this Enterprise was one of the better rental car experiences I've had. It only took a few minutes to book the rental online and they called a day ahead to confirm my reservation as well as let us know what documents would be required to secure the rental. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly provided keys. Trey assisted us with picking up and inspecting the rental vehicle upon return. He was so pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. He was our first impression of Southern hospitality and really got our vacation off to a great start. I liked that after returning the vehicle, we were asked if we needed a ride anywhere and they were so kind as to deliver us back to the airport. Trey also asked how we felt about their customer service before we left which I found to be a nice touch from Enterprise. I would have given 5 stars but the vehicle we rented was pretty dirty / in need of a wash on the exterior , although the interior was clean and it had a 14 inch crack in the driver's side of the front windshield which Trey asked whether would be too distracting to drive. While I appreciated him acknowledging the giant crack and gaining manager approval to offer a discount because of it, I don't think a vehicle with such a huge crack in the windshield should remain part of rental inventory at all. On this day, it was also the only available vehicle of its class and capacity so we went with it. read more

I travel all around the country for work, and this Enterprise is easily the worst rental experience I've had. Unfortunately I have had to use this location three times now, and have waited over an hour each time, on top of never getting the vehicle class I reserve. Spend the extra time and money ubering somewhere else. read more

In all fairness customer service was good. Also I lost my license at the airport and couldn't get a rental ..... but that's not the issue. Fair warning.... I choose this location because they were SO much cheaper than the airport BUT they have s small sign that says they charge you for the airport fees and taxes.... WHY I am not the airport??? They do not offer pickup which means a taxi expense. Side note.... Lyft is not allowed to pick up from the airport but there is a work around. Don't put in MSY - airport code or you will get rejected but instead put in the actual airport address and then call your driver for a specifics pick up location. Lyft is reasonable but it can add up. Buy a day pass and ride the bus as much as you want it cost $3.00 for a 24 hour pass. read more

There's one gentleman here that's A1 sadly I can't remember his name, however he's the only good employee there. Everyone else has terrible customer service & make other employees look bad. I tried swapping my rental out & one girl said I couldn't do that, I spoke with another & asked if I could swap it out & she said to come by, then once I got there she had me wait 45 minutes then said they're renting them out to new customers & I already have one. If you want reliable service goto the one on Carrollton or 10200 East I-10 service rd because they're very friendly & have excellent customer service. read more

Please go online and review their rental policies so that you will not be disappointed when you get to the counter and maybe not get your rental. Their policy is pretty much the general run of the mill as most other rental places. This place is a little hard to see since there are a bunch of trees kind of blocking the entrance to the already tight little parking lot. It is right before a Hotel, a Holiday Inn I believe but don't quote me. Note, these places are the best ones to rent from than renting at the airport that is only 5 miles down the road. I saved about $200 by not renting there and instead coming here. Airports charge your for a tax on this, a tax on that and a tax because there is a tax. A Dodge Charger will run you around $700 a month with a company discount depending on who you work for but I would say it's pretty much close across the board. An Altima ran me around $200 for a week, unlimited miles (well, if I don't go over 3000 but where the heck would you drive in a week?!). Parking, like rolling dice. One day you won't find a place and will wait, the next time you'd swear they were close since there is NOTHING in the parking lot. Staff, courteous, courteous courteous, now that's worth the trip 5 miles down the road, that and a good chunk of savings. If you rent a white Dodge Charger, ask them if they got the slow leak fixed or you will be gas station hopping every other day. read more

We chose this location as even with a cab from the airport it was far less expensive than the airport rentals and I was turned off by the long hike to the airport rental facility vs grabbing a cab just outside of baggage claim due to a fair amount of luggage: we were in town for a week and a wedding. We had no problem with our reservation which was booked through a third party travel site on line. Everyone here was really friendly and when our car ( a full size Camry) wasn't quite ready we were upgraded to a very nice , clean Ford Escape SUV! The office even called the next day to make sure everything was alright . Upon our return we were promptly driven in the same car to the airport so no need to move our cargo. I've been through Enterprise many times but first time at this location. I can say without a doubt this is probably the worst location that I've ever been to the customer service was terrible. The area was low on vehicles which is understandable because it was busy but we did the "You click, we pick" which should have gotten us a compact car OR LARGER. And instead of giving us whatever was available we waited an over an hour because they just had to give us a compact car. Then after all that waiting they gave us a car that wasn't even fully cleaned as you see the big wad of hair gross! read more

Needed a rental since my truck was in the shop. This location had given me a truck for a rental. The truck was all scratched up and looked like a work truck in the bed. The employee walked around the car and as I pointed out a few scratches he told me that they weren't worried about anything smaller than about a golf ball. It's a shame that this company will lend paying customers a vehicle like this, but I was only using it to get to and from work so I didn't think much of it. When I returned the vehicle at another location, the employee noticed a couple cracked lights. Now I am faced with being charged for the damaged or claiming it on my insurance for damage that I absolutely know did not happen while I had the truck. Be very careful if you rent from this company. Point out and make sure it's noted for every little detail wrong before you take the car, no matter what. read more

The Airport Enterprise is Despicable‼ We had a Reservation and when we got to the airport they ran my Prepaid Debit Card for $600 as a Deposit and then said they don't accept Prepaid Credit Cards. We are here on Vacation with NO ACCESS to our $600.00. They LIED and said it would be reimbursed the NEXT DAY. We are on our 4th Day of Vacation using UBER's which is much LESS EXPENSIVE than Enterprise with NO ACCESS to our Money "they would NOT ACCEPT "because Instead ENTERPRISE FROZE it When we call to complain they make EXCUSES. I have easily been here at least an hour waiting for a car to be "cleaned up and ready." And there are a ton of us out here waiting too and a line of vehicles trying just to return their cars. It's as though nothing is happening. This place is god awful. read more

I usually rent cars from Hertz but my travel agent found a good car and rate with Enterprise this time. I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. I started out with a Jeep Compass but it had electrical issues so I had to return it, which was unfortunate and inconvenient. However, everyone was friendly, I was upgraded to a better car, and the whole transaction took under 20 minutes. I will definitely rent from this location again. read more

This place is not customer friendly. My plane landed 15 late and I called to make sure they would be open. They said they likely be there ten minutes past. I paid $20 to cab there and arrived at 6:05. They were closed. So, here I am at an enterprise on Vets (the airport Enterprise had NO cars) and nothing else. NO customer service. If you're going to leave, just say it- save me the trouble and money of a cab. read more

Probably the worst experience I have had with a rental agency in my 30 years of renting cars. I rented a compact from October 21 through October 23. They gave me a receipt for a Ford Explorer. The receipt was for October 21-22. The receipt also stated that my rental included a fuel option: a blatant lie. I am at Virginia Tech and I have very positive experiences with the nearby Enterprise. This experience was awful. The manager, a guy named Bret, called me to say "we will take care of this and I will send you an email shortly." They didn't. read more

As usual, Enterprise came through with the car I needed at the price I needed. The car ran perfectly as always and I had a wonderful customer experience. I was picked up to rent my car and dropped back off at home at completion of my rental. Whenever I need to rent a car I typically CHOOSE Enterprise. Recently after Christmas I was traveling and I chose this location because it was a better price compared to others. I was picked up by one of their drivers who was pleasant enough. What I didn't like- when I walked through the door no one said hello, and their were 2 women behind the counter, one of which seemed to the Manager. I ultimately ended up saying "hello how are y'all doing" one of the women said "fine" so I said "oh I'm wonderful thank you for asking." Although she never actually asked how I was. Nevertheless, because I'm an outgoing person and I like meeting new people I attempting to try and make friendly small talk about the weather, the city etc. and I was basically ignored. There was no signs of friendliness at this place. Customer service is very important to me when I choose to bring a company my business and spend my money.I did enjoy my vehicle, but in my personal opinion this location failed at customer service. read more

They picked me up immediately, provided a very clean, modern car, and then gave us a ride to the airport afterward. They were super friendly and efficient. The actual car I rented was fine. However the agent I dealt with really uses a hard sell to get you to buy the insurance. She was so focused on finding any blemish on the car I was checking out and kept reminding me I really needed their insurance. Other car rental companies do not do the hard sell practice that Enterprise does on their insurance. If you have a credit card with insurance and/or home owners insurance you don't need their insurance. It was her manner in dealing with me that was really off-putting. read more

I love renting a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Vets in Kenner, La. Their reservations do not require prepayments, the staff from counter to cleaners are always quick, courteous, friendly and professional. I used this rental to take may Grandson on a trip a short extended weekend trip to the Smoky Mountains. Instead of taking my own car, adding thousands of miles, including wear and tear. The Chevy Malibu they provided me as a full size was great. At first I was hoping to get a Nissan Altima, or other similar Asian design. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort, styling, mileage and especially the powerful drive chain. It was as if I was driving on a flat road instead of the mountains. Whenever I am traveling by air or driving hundreds of miles for a weekend or for weeks I always check with the Enterprise in Kenner, La. before going anywhere else. The rental experience itself was fine and the vehicle given was in very good condition, but be sure to check the final invoice upon returning your rental. They quietly tried to sneak in a $10.00 "fuel charge" even though I returned the vehicle at the same fuel level as it had when I picked it up. When I pointed this out to the rep closing out my rental he acted as if he either couldn't remove the bogus charge or didn't know how to remove it. Another rep had to come over and show him with one click of the mouse how to remove the charge. read more

Courteous and helpful they had me in and out in reasonable amount of time even for a holiday in which they were very busy.

Enterprise RAC has provided awesome service around the USA, but specifically in New Orleans and even more specifically manager Donald Batiste, who I met for the first time. I legally parked a Enterprise RAC on the street near a Enterprise rental location that was hit and totaled by a driver who told the police that I backed into them and fled the scene. Manager Donald Batiste reviewed the cameras at that location which proved it was entirely the other drivers fault, provided appropriate accurate information to me, the police and both the other drivers and my insurance companies. Manager Donald Batiste's handling of that significant event was both professional plus it was clear to me that that he was committed to superior customer service. I was issued a replacement vehicle and sent on my way promptly considering the circumstances. Once home, Enterprise RAC refunded my insurance deductible with minimal personal involvement.
