Everyone was rude from the moment we arrived. I was even told that they had "more important reservations" because I only booked one day in advance, which is completely unacceptable. Assistant Manager came over to help evan, but unfortunately was no help at all and couldn't provide any explanation as to why they were unable to fulfill our reservation or why the process was handled so poorly. What makes this even worse is that we drove over an hour to pick up a rental car, only to be turned away and forced to Uber two hours back home. Then to hartsfield to obtain a rental. There was no communication ahead of time letting us know there may be an issue fulfilling the reservation, which would have saved us significant time, money, and frustration. I sincerely hope this location improves its customer service, communication, and reliability, and hires staff who are willing to properly accommodate customers and treat them with respect. Terrible customer service. Undependable. We were told several stories as to why our reservation was not there as scheduled. First they canceled it the day before. Then we were not there at the time listed. Then the place where they get them from has issues. One excuse / lie after another to eat from manager Tyler who said he was the location manager and district. Do not rent there or depend on that location. When I first walked in, I was a little surprised that the waiting area was extremely boring. The owner really needs to invest in some comfortable seating and end tables. A flat screen television definitely would make the time go faster. Instead of being bored waiting on your rental car to be ready. The so-called washing area for the vehicles that was in back of the building, would definitely be an embarrassment to any company. The owner seriously needs to make the staff area behind the counter updated. I thought I was in the 1950's for a second. Make their customers want to come back and maybe enjoy a cold/hot beverage and or snack while waiting. The staff was very pleasant and made sure each customer was satisfied with their rental. Offer Sirius XM in each vehicle without a $5.00 a day charge. Pleaseeeee., maybe $5.00 a month, not each day. Pure greed and shame on the owner for being soooooo cheap! Give those employees a raise for running that establishment, because the owner could probably care less. Believe me it shows when you walk through that door. read more

We needed a jump for our car battery and we're across the parking lot at the patio furniture store, while they weren't very helpful, the manager at Enterprise asked Rod to pull the training van for Enterprise around and he gave us a jump. If I have to follow you to the gas station to fill up the car that I'm renting that's a problem. My reservation was for 1pm and I tried to move it to 12 however they stated they were booked... got to the place around 1230 and they were like we already have your car ready we're just washing it now.. Got to the car ..checked the car over ..stains on the seat..and of course the gas on a half of tank. The bad part about it, the lady checking it over said it like it was nothing..This will be my last time renting from this location because the first time they couldn't find a car for me yet they had all day since my reservation was at 5pm. Update to my review two years ago. THIS location left me to sit for 28hrs without a vehicle. They have really gone downhill. My last reservation they couldn't fulfill, so they do...NOTHING - no callbacks, no communication. I had to call the Barrett Lakes location to find out there were cars in Acworth, then arrange my own ride. And what did they do to compensate for the problem, again...nothing. I couldn't even get the manager to return my calls. Go to the Acworth or either of the other two Kennesaw locations. Don't take a chance here. read more

Day before my pickup the Kennesaw location calls and say we do not have any trucks for you to rent. I made the reservation almost 3 weeks ago. What kind a reservation system allows overbooking. This office did not have options or solutions to help me, The office manger told me to go to U-haul across the street. I am done with this company. Emailed by the company how can we help you? How can you help me if no trucks are available and your reservation system does not work. Been a regular renter at this "location" (including when it was just up the street on Old 41) for the past couple of years - roughly once a month here plus using Enterprise when traveling. I have found it mildly annoying to get a phone call confirming my reservation from this location every time considering the frequency that I was using it but they consistently run out of cars so okay, I get it. Plot twist: Today they decided that since they have gone from professional attire to green jerseys that meh, you were "30 minutes late" so we rented out the car that we called to confirm on but hey, we'll rent you a more expensive one for more than we quoted. Well .... if I wanted the more expensive one I would have confirmed it. Had I known you would give away the one I confirmed because I was slightly behind schedule I would have addressed that as well. Today was probably the last day I use Enterprise at all as I have seen this location consistently drop off in professionalism and service. BTW Enterprise it wasn't the extra couple of bucks on the weekend rate since your buddies across the street will charge me twice as much, it was the cavalier attitude. read more

Rented a car from them and returned it with no damages, but they did not come out to inspect the car when it was returned. They settled the credit card charges for the agreed amount two days after it was returned. It wasn't until a week later that I received a snail mail from their 'damage recovery unit' that a claim had been filed for damages to the car. Very shady business. read more

I have a few snafus, most were my own fault. The one that wasn't is that you cannot leave your car at any Enterprise sites apparently since Jan of this year. This was not listed on the website I booked on or in my confirmation email. Be sure to get a ride to the location or uber. The other issues were things I missed. First, if you are using a debit card, you must also bring a utility bill of some sort with your information on it - luckily I had a major credit card on me. Which I find pretty strange as no other vendor I've used (including Enterprise) has ever asked for that before. It is clearly stated on their site however. Also clearly stated on the confirmation is the fact they do not accept cash. Again, that is on me; however again, very strange an American company does not accept American currency yet accepts money orders. My representative was Candace who was nothing short of amazing. When I was told I couldn't leave my car at the location, she followed me to my house nearby to drop off the car. Which was very nice. Candace, by the way, you should visit New Orleans. If I could give this location zero stars, I would! Worst customer service experience EVER at this Enterprise location. I have never written a complaint on business, but I can't let this go. I rented a vehicle through Hawthorne Aviation in April 2018 and employee never closed out my account upon my timely return of vehicle. Despite leaving credit card on file with Enterprise and Hawthorne Aviation in order to pick up vehicle, I received phone call a month later from Enterprise stating account ''was never closed out and needed credit card Info", the employee I was speaking to could not pull up account for some reason and after waiting 15 min on I told him to call me back when he could. The Employee never called back but I was sent an invoice a month later. I called to reconcile and was told I needed to call the regional office, not the branch. I was given the regional office number, contacted them and was told I had to call the branch office. I contacted the branch office again and explained I needed to reconcile my account. This time the branch employee took my credit card information over the phone for my $117 balance. A week later I received another invoice in the mail for $117. I contacted the phone number on the invoice to make sure it had just "crossed in the mail" (although the date on the invoice was after I had already made a payment over the phone). I was told by the Enterprise representative to disregard the invoice because she showed a zero balance on her end. I explained that I had given my credit card to resolve the balance over a week prior and she stated it must have just been printed before it posted. Ahh, but no. Yesterday (June28) I received ANOTHER phone call from the local Enterprise branch stating it was their last attempt to clear the balance of $117. I went back through my credit card statements and although I was not able to find an original charge of $117, what on earth is going on at this location..and who did I give my credit card to? I was assured by Anika, the branch manager that this will clear the balance, but when asked for a confirmation number of the payment transaction she was not able to provide one to me because it takes up to 24 hours to post. We are currently going on 20 hours, with no confirmation number. The hours I have spent to resolve a meager $117 charge is UNREAL. read more

Please do not rent from this store. The staff is incompetent. They are only interested in "pushing" extra insurance coverage and they will charge you for it even if you decline coverage! I booked a car for 11 days at the total cost of $346.09. They debited $819.00 from my account. Even after admitting they were in error, the well meaning but inexperienced assistant manager could not process the refund back to my account until the "vacationing" General Manager "Jabari" returned to the office! So for several days I had no access to funds because my account was over drawn. And please don't try calling the store because they will keep you on hold for 25+ minutes. Great customer service onsite EXCEPT for billing/invoicing. I have rented many times from this location due to its convenience to my residence. Not one time have they given me a correct receipt. When there are errors, employees are not given the authority to take care of the mistake and cannot correct it that day. The employee has to send the correction to corporate accounting, then I have never received the e-mail receipt have to call back, then multiple calls and several days/weeks I finally get a correct receipt. Corporate Customer Service is not much help, as I was routed to a person with a heavy accents who sounded as if she were reading from a script. May be time to try Hertz. read more

Even since 9/11, it's still easier to get a passport than rent a vehicle from (this?) Enterprise. I'm trying to buy a vehicle after mine was struck and totaled, and needed to rent in the meantime. Understandably, I'm keeping my credit in condition for new financing, so paying by credit card or choosing the Hertz across the street that only runs a soft credit pull in lieu of an IRS tax audit aren't options. Even though I was prepared to pay by debit (i.e., money that definitely exists), they required 2 months of 2 forms of utilities. And not just any form of payment that shows a history of paying on time: specifically they need utilities for your house, such as a landline that everyone definitely still has in 2018. So if you rent or your name doesn't appear on the utilities, be advised it's impossible to rent a car from here, no matter how much actual cash you're ready to throw at them. If you make six figures and show a year of pay stubs, it speaks nothing to your ability to pay compared to two months of water bills. They say credit is preferable to cover unforeseen costs? Isn't that what the insurance is for, which I was ready to pay? This location didn't want my $1000 since I was a renter. Since when is actual money worthless? Probably for the best anyway; Uber is cheaper and I can put that grand toward my down payment. read more

Our insurance company USAA used this Enterprise location to provide us a vehicle after my wife was involved in a fender bender. The rep. convinced my wife that she should get additional insurance and if she discussed with me later in the day and decided we didn't want it she could call in and cancel it. If you are familiar with USAA insurance, military and family members, you know they cover rental vehicles. My wife called in first thing the next morning and was passed off to the manager trainee who claimed that she couldn't just call in, and she would have to drive the car over so they "could inspect it for damage" first? If it was damaged, why would I cancel the additional insurance? They knew it would be inconvenient for her to make the long trip over in rush hour traffic to do this. I later got on the phone with this manager trainee and explained what happened and what his initial rep had told my wife and that she fulfilled our obligation to call and cancel as she was told by the rep. He basically said his rep never would have said that and my wife must be lying. He said he would check into it and call me back...which he did not. This crew is very unprofessional and I recommend you avoid them. I have contacted USAA insurance to report their deceptive tactics. read more

The car rental was fine...however the customer service left something to be desired...the Enterprise Rent-A-Car agent ran my card 3 times and caused the system to ultimately reject my card...initially I thought it was my bank rejecting the card...so I called the bank, and they stated that no charge ever came through... which led me to believe that it was something on Enterprise Rent-A-Car side causing it to be rejected...i'm sure the Agent's swiping and cancelling 3 different consecutive occasions had something to do with it... ...I left my garage door opener on the visor in the rental and called back and was hung up on 5 times before I could speak to someone. read more

I had no problem with the service at this location. The staff was friendly, allowed me to sit in vehicles before I made a selection. I'm am a very tall man so comfort mean everything for a person my size. After I chose a vehicle, the manager checked in on me and asked about the service his staff provided. I rent a lot cars often for business and pleasure. Reading some of the reviews it appears that the complaints are coming from individuals who do not rent vehicles on a regulars basis. Don't get me wrong, I dealt with customer service reps who are not friendly, which can be a turn off, but the routine is simple: You arrive at the Enterprise location where you have you a reservation, give them your name, driver's license, and a major credit (I never heard of a reputable car rental company taking cash, and if you have to used a debit card be prepared to provided documents i.e. utility bill etc., and a large deposit) , select your vehicle, informed them if you want insurance or not, inspect the vehicle, initial and sign, and drive off. Plain and simple. I enjoy renting from this location because the vehicles is typically not base models. read more

We are very happy with the services received at this Enterprise location. We recently were faced with a family illness situation on very short notice to find a good rental car and this location fixed us up. When we arrived on a Saturday morning to pick up our car, we were treated in a professional and friendly manner. When the relative we visited then passed away, our plans to return the car got extended for the funeral and they were very gracious and understanding. What we appricate is the very prompt, professional,friendly and efficient service, even with last minute changes beyond our control, and we would recommend the location to anyone who expects great service, clean and good condition rental vehicles. My experience overall was not a good one, but I will have to say that the manager here did everything he could after the fact to make me a happy customer. I wasn't too happy about not getting told that we cannot park overnight, leading me to come back home after Thanksgiving to a parking lot where I expected my car to be late at night, only to realize I owed a $265 tow bill. It was not a great experience, BUT I will be back due to the manager's commitment to me as a customer to resolve the issue the best he could. read more

Used this location because of an insurance. Unfortunately most insurance companies use enterprise because of their footprint, however, they know they have this captive market and it is obvious they don't care about the customer. When the insurance company gave me the reservation number, I was told I would hear from the rental company before the end of the day. They did call me after hours when I couldn't get the car that day. I made an appointment to pick up the car the next day. They first started showing me all of the vehicles I could get if I was willing to pay an up charge. I declined. They had one vehicle that was approved by the insurance company-1! They had two others that were already promised out. This vehicle that was offered was by far the worst vehicle they had. Dents, stains, high miles and as I was leaving determined bad brakes. But before I could get the car, I had hear the barrage of pitches for add on's. No thank you, no thanks, thanks but I'm covered. If you have a choice Hertz or National are much better choices and provide better service. Eventually the insurance companies will start pay for ride share programs like Uber and enterprise's gravy train will end. read more

After renting a car and explaining that i was driving to FL for vacation they assured me that the location i was intending to drop the car off at had a drop box for the keys. After i arrived to my destination and attempted to drop of the keys( it was a weekend) there was no drop box and the corporate office then told me in order to not be charged for the next 2 days i would need to drive an hour and 45 min away from our vacation destination to return the car and not be charged. After spending aprox 4 hours on hold or being tossed back and forth from the FL office and the Kennesaw office( both places blaming the other for the error and telling us that they could not do anything to help) we finally got Kennesaw to agree to refund us how ever that was over 3 weeks ago and we have still not received a refund, the manager called us with a curt reply to our concerns, today 3 weeks later, and had an attitude over the phone. I will not be bringing my business back to this store or ENTERPRISE in general, I advise you do the same. read more

Tried to book a car in person they told me to call back, not a problem. Saw a good deal online, tried to do that. Called back and the first person I talk to tells me they need to check inventory and puts me on hold for 5 minutes so I hang up. Then I get Imani who I later find out is a manager, she rushes me and quickly puts me on hold for the wrong thing, so I hang up, why would I wait for you to do something I didn't ask for? Call back and talk to another guy who clarifies I can't use my insurance policy and the deal together.... then hangs up on me or just leaves the phone. Call back ask for manager, Imani is the manager, so she feins concern, "oh he hung up on you sorry" hear laughing in the background. Done dealing with their shifty customer service and because of them I don't have time to monkey around and can't rent a vehicle today and not only has enterprise lost my business today and turned away a new customer but I will never be using this shop because of disrespectful and unhelpful staff. read more

Dirty/ filthy cars. I noticed this at the location on Cobb Pkwy several months ago and brushed it off as being a 1-off situation. The customer service reps said that the dirt on the seats and console could not come out. I rented the car anyway, drove it home and took a warm damp cloth and removed the filthy. A few days ago, I went to Hwy 41 location to pick-up a car and asked to see the inside of about 5 cars because I wanted to make sure that they were clean. Guess what, they were all filthy. I'm not talking about a spot/stain that can't be removed, I'm talking about surface-level dirt that a damp cloth that can be used to remove. I guess they don't have someone dedicated to cleaning the cars once they are checked back in. The customer service reps didn't seem to care too much about the filthy. There seems to be a pattern with several of their locations and I wonder if the corporate office is aware of this and how this will hurt their business in the long haul. Oh well! I cancelled my reservation and went to Avis. I paid a few dollars more but their cars were cleaned and the service was outstanding. Guess who I will be using and referring in the future. read more
