    Here is ANOTHER reason for the abysmal rating: Rented and…read morepaid for a minivan weeks in advance through Expedia. It was going to be used to relocate my son in St Louis. We were counting on it right through the day before when I even filled out an express checkout form. 30 minutes before we were scheduled to pick it up, we received a phone call that there was no van, and in fact, no other options were available. When I explained that we were already on our way there, the jerk says, "Well, keep drivin' south, I got nothin' for ya". When I said we had paid in advance for the rental, I was told that I needed to talk to Expedia to even get a refund. This was Purdue graduation weekend, and I tried to impress on him that they were really putting us in a bind. I was told to "try a competitor, but there was probably nothing anywhere." I asked how this could happen, and I was informed that they routinely over-book. Zero contrition, and totally unwilling to offer any solutions to the impossible circumstances they created for us. I will NEVER forget this abhorrent lack of customer service. Don't give them the opportunity to screw you over like they did us.

    Incredibly unprofessional. Cancelled a reservation I made with a corporate account without…read morenotifying me. I showed up and he told me it was canceled in person. When I showed him the reservation didn't show as cancelled on my end, he said he didn't actually cancel it in case I showed up to "confront" him, he wanted all the information there. I should be able to expect that once I make a reservation, I will have a car. If overbooking is done inadvertently, the minimum should be doing me the courtesy of canceling the reservation in advance so I don't waste my time. It's bizarre that he expected a confrontation and chose to waste my time over that. Apparently this spot is regularly in the position of canceling folks' reservations and incurring anger as a result. Worse, I was easily able to make a reservation without my corporate account (at double the price) for the exact same time and car -- so maybe he just didn't want to let me take the car at the corporate discount price when he could make more off regular customers? It would explain why the app didn't show the location as sold out. I cancelled the second reservation myself because I won't give this location any business. The agent at the location - Mikah - was very rude, unsympathetic, and generally unprofessional.
