Dealing with Enterprise, as a whole, has been a NIGHTMARE. I called to reserve a car, while mine is getting warranty work done. I asked what the charges were. The customer service agent told me ONLY that there would be a $300 hold on my card. That's IT. I knew there would be a fee for rental, but what I understood was that would be paid when I returned the car. I then talked to a associate at the store. He told me the same thing, "$300 hold on my card". Again, NO mention of the actual rental fee. I got dropped of at the location and went through the process. The agent I talked to was gone, but the two I talked to were friendly and professional. The charge then became $650. No one could explain why I am paying the whole fee AND a deposit, but I'm there stranded 20 minutes away from home. The car was dirty on the inside, and someone had CLEARLY been smoking cigarettes in it, despite "No Smoking" stickers throughout the car. I paid the whole amount and went home. I called customer service. Some were helpful, most had a SEVERE language barrier. One agent told me that the "regional manager" would call me "right away". It's been 36 hours since then. No call from anyone. I called again yesterday, the "regional manager" would call me, but they are "very busy". Doing what, running reports and merchandising a store? NOTHING is more important than a dissatisfied customer. I then talked to an "escalation agent" at the customer service number who was INCREDIBLY rude. She talked over me, and when I asked her not to, she had NOTHING but attitude for the rest of the call. This is a person whose job is dealing with dissatisfied customers. I was never rude to her and I NEVER raise my voice with CSAs. Despite my blinding anger with the situation, I remained courteous, but I ended up hanging up on her for her TERRIBLE entitled attitude. My wife is a nurse, she has to be at work. We have to have this car until ours is fixed, but if I had it to do over, I wouldn't step foot into ANY Enterprise location. The only reason I gave two stars is the two young men at the location were friendly and professional. Barring THAT, I wouldn't rent a pair of rollerskates from ANY Enterprise, and YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. read more

Rules and customer service below par. My wife attempted to get a rental, something she does at this company 6 times a year. She did not have a 2nd form of ID that they required. Her DL and debit card were not enough even with previous rentals from them. They would not do a manual entry of a card per policy. They would take a utility bill with her name but she doesn't carry one of those around. They would take a Pic of one but all I had on me was a letter from the US DEPT. OF TREASURY with her name and address but this wasn't on their Approved list. They wanted me to drive one hour from my work to provide this form of documentation. Needless to say, she called another rental company a block away. They came and got her and she was in a rental within a half hour. I'm sure our $1000 a year we spend there is nothing to them but their rigidity in moving from their policy is unacceptable. read more

It has become my personal mission to tell every single person I know to avoid this crap business. My husband and I reserved a full size suv 3 MONTHS in advance for June 2-7 2026. We were diligent in communicating with them to ensure they had our vehicle. I personally spoke with Parker the manager the Sun prior to our departure. He assured me it would be ready. I called and talked to Kyle at 3pm the MONDAY BEFORE WE WERE TO GET IT. YES. IM LOOKING AT IT RIGHT NOW. It will be ready. Only to find out the morning of that JORDAN GAVE OUR CAR AWAY.He lied and told us it was never there. While we were waiting for some crap mid size POS , several other customers were lied to and said they didn't reserve a car. Same with a different guy who ubered and they said no cars. It cost him $75. All while the other workers called and canceled all their reservations as they came in on the we. My husband left a review and someone said the RDO Will call him . NOTHING. I VOW TO TELL EVERY PERSON I KNOW WHAT A CRAP BUSINESS YOU ARE. I work with people who travel. I will go elsewhere for them. Susan Williams read more

Take pictures to protect yourself here. I was given a car for a couple weeks. The associate showed me pictures of the dings on the car, and he said that is part of "normal wear and tear". When I returned the car, they're trying to charge me for one of the dings. I have rented for years, and never had this experience. This location deserves ZERO STARS! I rented a car here through my insurance company, (they gave me a car left on the lot dirty with no gas in it) at a discount since it wasn't cleaned and on empty! when they asked me to confirm my information on their tablet I found a phone number error! Enterprise had my ex girlfriends number as well as mine I asked them to please remove it IMMEDIATELY! The manager said he would & did right then! Well fast forward my vehicle was not repaired at the auto body shop it was located at so progressive insurance company extended my rental agreement I had my rental car for almost a whole month! All of a sudden I received a private blocked call then a voicemail so I listened to it & I kid you not it was enterprise THREATENING me saying they are reporting their car stolen if it isn't dropped back off on their premises that same day & that I owed them $450.00! I called them back immediately for one flabbergasted as to how you all want to report my loaner car stolen, for two how I owe you $450.00 & for three to explain I was out of state for a relatives birthday & I wasn't returning for three more days! I've made several phone calls after returning the rental car to resolve the issue! Well they "CLAIM" they called me multiple times but on my ex girlfriends number they supposed to have deleted! This company screwed me in multiple ways & think I'm going to pay them $450 they are scam artist & beyond delusional! They knew exactly what they were doing! Every time I need a rental, it's a time of stress for me in my life and I never have time to reserve a car. Enterprise has like an honesty policy or something, they just flat out say it if they have no cars and have helped me get a car from their competitors. The Liberty MO and Chandler AZ, Wayne NJ, Palo Alto CA branches really have gone beyond all expectations of service. read more

Worst experience ever. Manager Danny was a huge jerk. Reserved car several days in advance and I show up and no cars are available. He never once apologized, just wanted to be rude and act like it was my problem. Lied and told me was short on cars because some had just been returned damaged which his employee told me they had a super busy morning and rented all of them out. read more

While everything about the experience was excellent from the car to the service from the staff, I would highly recommend using winter windshield fluid. Driving from St. Louis to Kansas City in subzero temperatures was a challenge not having any washer fluid to use on the windshield. Other than that, everything was great. read more

I had to rent a car through my auto insurance company because I have a accident claim and they booked a rental car through enterprise. However when I booked it they didn't book a time that I would pick the car up so when I was ready to get a car they had none available on a Friday afternoon. So I was then stuck at the auto repair shop with no rental no personal car and No one to pick me up. Enterprise put me on a waiting list and was lucky enough for them to pick me up and then drop me off at my home. My insurance policy allowed for a $30 rental car per day which Enterprise had none available at that rate. So I had to pay for the additional overage amount on the rate for four days that they booked the rental car for. The staff at enterprise were pretty nice but is ran by a lot of college age youngsters. read more

I rent from the Liberty Enterprise at lease every other month or monthly sometimes. I love the service that I receive. I am "big" on customer service! When I come in (even at the end of the day)I always feel like the first person of the day. They are always professional, smiling, and seem to enjoy their job. Company vehicle broke down early afternoon. First thing you hear when you call,is they pick you up! Not true! They said they could not that day! Plus, no vehicles to rent. This is not the first time this has happened with them!! Rented vehicles twice in the last couple of months for round trips from Liberty MO to Wichita KS. I was picked up on time in a clean vehicle by a very personable agent each time. I had clean, well maintained vehicles and felt safe traveling in them. The staff at the Liberty MO location provided great customer service, ensured that I was offered and priced items such as insurance, gas level return, etc. and that I understood all terms. I was also provided rides home in a clean vehicle with one of the fantastic staff!! Will always utilize Enterprise for vehicle needs in the future. Great job all!!!! read more
