I am a believer in second chances, but this Enterprise-Rent-A-Car location is Special. As a Costco member, I typically go with Costco Travel for the majority of my travel needs. On my first experience booking a rental car with this location on the day of pickup, I was running late to their office location in Marietta and arrived one minute before closing without realizing their close time. There was about 5 or 6 guys standing around (obviously waiting to leave for the day) and when I was served by the Enterprise employee, I had 3 credit cards decline. I had a couple more credit cards that would have worked, however, the Store Manager, Quinten/Quinton, decided that was it for me and he told me that I had to leave, because they were closing. Probably one of the worst customer experiences I had, because my son, who dropped me off had already drove 30 mins away and had to come back and get me. There was no options of alternatives offered by Quinten/Quinton. I refrained from leaving a review and thought it might have been a one off. The second experience was the trigger for this review, also same manager onsite. I booked a reservation on May 22nd, 3 days in advance of my 10AM pickup. Once again, I had my son drive 30 minutes to assist in the transfer of vehicles. However, to my dismay when I arrived at 10AM, the store employee told me that they did not have a car available on the lot for me, although there was plenty of other vehicle options on the lot. Once again I was sent away without being offered any options or alternatives to get me transportation in my time of need. They said that in the event a car was returned, they would reach out to me. Once again, demonstrating that this location is deserving of a 1-star review. My advice, DO NOT rent from this location and seek out alternatives. I've rented from AVIS and BUDGET in the area without issue. The Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 1669 Cobb Pkwy S, Marietta, GA 30060 (770) 618-8030 is mismanaged and does not have their customers well-being in mind. I have used enterprise many times over the years, with no issues. This nightmare will definitely be my last. My truck broke down on a road trip with my family and I was towed to the Chevy dealer for warranty work. Because the Chevy dealer didn't offer loaners, they took me to this enterprise. Chevy had a contract with them, and Chevy was to pay $50 a day. This Enterprise got me a vehicle so my family and I could continue our trip. We were relieved to continue our trip until it started raining, which resulted in us hydroplaning due to the bald tires on the enterprise vehicle. I was able to swap out the vehicle at a different location so we could continue our trip safely. The part needed for the warranty work on my truck was on backorder which resulted in me needing to use the enterprise vehicle for 3 months. Once my truck was returned to me, I turned in the enterprise vehicle. This location called me and said I had a few fees from my travels such as tolls, which I happily paid over the phone and they informed me they would close out my account. 3 months later without any notice this Enterprise location charged my account over $4K. When I called for two days to see what was going on, but a manger could not be reached. One of the employees decided to give me the area managers email. I emailed James to see what was going on, and he tells me that Chevy never paid the invoice so they are charging me. I was charged $4K with no phone call, no invoice in the mail, no notification what so ever. I had no time to prepare for this amount coming out of my bank account. I tried to express to James what this was going to do to my family, but he could only point the finger at Chevy and show me he doesn't care about the customers who are affected by this. James' unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, and inability to take accountability is enough for me to never go back to Enterprise and by writing this review, hopefully I can save people any headache from a corporation that has clearly fell downhill.. I have had nothing but great experiences with this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location on Cobb Parkway just south of Franklin Road, across from Dobbins Air Reserve Base. I first found out about this Enterprise location when someone hit my car. While my car was in the shop, my insurance company set me up with a rental from Enterprise. I had a painless experience. That was years ago. Not too long ago, my car had a mechanical breakdown. I had to have my car towed to the shop. While my car was in the shop, I needed a rental car to get around town. I remembered my good experience with Enterprise and returned on my own volition. I went to Enterprise early on a Monday morning, with no reservation, and was seen and set up with a rental car almost immediately. The speed at which I was in and out of their office and back on the road was incredibly fast. These folks are efficient. At the time of writing this review, Enterprise's lowest cost rental cars are about $35 per day. After taxes and fees, it works out to be about $40 per day. At this rate, I was hooked up with a 2013 Toyota Yaris. It was a clean, compact, and fuel economically efficient car. I enjoyed my time with it. Returning the rental car was even easier than renting the car itself. I returned to the Enterprise office the following Thursday morning and was, once again, seen immediately. Check-out only took a few minutes. An Enterprise employee then promptly drove me to my workplace. It's almost like those Enterprise "We'll pick you up!" commercials except this time, they were dropping me off. This Enterprise location provides complimentary pick-ups and drop-offs within a 5-mile radius. The service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with at this location was friendly and professional. Little touches like walking me out to the car with an umbrella over my head and opening the door for me when I entered the office really set the experience apart from other rental car businesses. The Enterprise workforce also dresses more professionally (e.g. dress shirts, ties). If you ever need a rental car, I recommend Enterprise. read more

I made my reservation through the phone. I was in a hurry and did not pay close attention to the pick up location. I was completely embarrassed once that I got to this Enterprise and it was the wrong location. The representative was very nice and informed me that even dough I had made the reservation for another location they where going to be able to take care of me their. As a customer I was all excited about this. Great experience up to that point. On my drive down from ATL to FL. I was like man there is some bugs on my windshield let me use windshield fluid on it. I pressed the button and nothing. Come to find out it was completely empty. I was like well hell. Stopped and put some gas in the car and picked up some windshield fluid and a drink. So I continue driving south and I look down at my drink and it was covered in ANTS. I know its crazy! "Wish I would have gone to the other Enterprise. I was like dam I paid another $180+ to drive down to FL in this car the least they could have done was have some windshield fluid and be ant free. For these reasons I can't give this location a better rating and can't encourage others to rent from here. read more

If I could rate it a 0 I would. I had to get a rental that was being paid for by my dealership because my car was in the shop. So after getting there they ask for my ID and also a form of payment. My question is why and I asked several times because the dealership is paying for the rental. Why do I need a form of payment for a deposit. My question was never answered so I ended up leaving the location. I've dealt with enterprise before with the same type of situation and I did not have to provide any form of payment because the dealership was being billed for the rental. I had to rent a car for a few days while my car was in the shop, so I rented a car from Enterprise. The staff was really nice, and made every attempt to serve people as fast as they could in what appeared to be a VERY busy branch. This location services many of the car dealership and repair shops along Cobb Parkway, so it seemed as though their inventory was pretty low. A guy stopped in while I was being helped, looking to rent a car that day. Because he didn't have a reservation, he was turned away. It's THAT kind of busy. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the wait times. Even though I could see that they were trying their hardest to get me in and out of there, it still took FOREVER. It took me over an hour to get my paperwork squared away on the first day, and due to an unforeseen issue with the rental, I had to come back the next day to exchange the car, and that took another 30 minutes. Even so, I'd definitely use them again, especially with the "We'll pick you up" service that they have. read more

I had the pleasure of renting a car from this rental location last week due to yet another car accident. Can't seem to avoid them. The accident was the other guy's fault so his insurance quickly set up the claim for the car repair and rental service. I told them the repair location so they set up the rental at this Enterprise location. Enterprise contacted me as soon as they got the reservation to confirm the date of the rental and where I would need to be picked up. I called them from the car repair shop the day I dropped off my car and they arrived within 3 minutes to pick me up. Check-in was quick and painless. I had the option of taking the car they picked me up in (Kia Soul) or a car that was getting its oil changed at the time (Dodge Avenger). I opted for the Kia since it was readily available. (Sidenote: the Kia Soul is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. Plus it comes standard with this horrific fabric in the car that repeats Soul many, many times over the doors and the car seats. I have no clue who would willingly purchase this vehicle with the standard fabric. My apologies if you are an owner of one of these vehicles. Hopefully you opted for upgraded seat fabric.) My car was supposed to be in the shop for 2 to 3 days. They called me the day before the final day of the rental to tell me that the insurance company actually extended the rental through the weekend in case my car was not ready from the shop. Very considerate of the insurance company. Fortunately for me, my car was ready on time. I returned it late on a Friday afternoon and they whisked me off to the car repair shop. This location also has a sales lot for their used vehicles. read more

I got a rental car here recently when my car was getting repairs at the nearby Kuhn Volkswagen. The dealership arranged for and paid for the rental as part of my car repair bill. This is a decent local rental facility. It took a little while for them to finish the paperwork needed to get me a car. I got a very nice car--I forget the make and model, but it was a generic type of midsize vehicle that you get from rental facilities. It was an Ok experience getting the car, but I think they tried too hard to upsell me on insurance and other optional items. I turned the car back into the dealer and they handled the return. It was a nice touch to get a courtesy call a couple of days later asking me if everything was ok with my rental. It was also good to know that everything was in order with the rental, since I didn't turn it in directly myself. This is a good local car rental facility--I've used other local Enterprise facilities when I've not had my own car available and have found them professionally run. I would rent here again if I have the need or opportunity. read more

After getting stranded by greyhound 8 hours from home, Brandon hooked us up with a fully covered F150 for HALF the price of what the other places were trying to get. I almost cried honestly. Amazing service. When we got back home and returned the car, Brandon called us personally from Marietta to let us know that we would have the deposit back asap, because he had picked our case out and handled it personally, immediately after the enterprise here sent them a confirmation. The staff was very rude to her and then to top it off, a coworker and I have delivered food here twice in the last two weeks and both times we got stiffed on the tip. Wish I could give them ZERO stars. Secured a van on Tuesday for Saturday pickup. They called Friday and said the van was no longer available. Didn't offer to try and locate another one....just said I no longer had a van. Rude, short and not professional. Enterprise as a whole has gone down hill....but this location is leading the charge. Left 6 messages for area manager before he finally called me back. Assured me I would have a van Saturday morning and he would call me at 9. No call at 9, 10, 11 , nor 12. He didn't call the entire weekend and still hasn't called. I guess they have all the business they want. read more

Worst rental experience I have ever had. Reservation through Abra glass for windshield repair. I called Enterprise at 730 am. Woman said dealer had to call when I got to the dealership for pickup. Got to the dealer at 745am and service guy called. Waited until 830 am and then I called Enterprise. Male rep said no one called and someone would be sent immediately. 855 am I called and the same man said no one called. At this point I was irate and asked he confirm the reservation which he did. He also said someone was coming immediately. 930 am and no one has showed up. What makes this even more ludicrous is the Enterprise location is less than a mile from the dealership. Called my wife to pick me up. Edit: I already emailed Enterprise customer service the day this occurred. Reference number 170901-001458. Let me start by saying that I love Enterprise Rental Cars because they have really good prices. The Cumberland Blvd location sucks don't go there. They used to be good and friendly, but the management changed and now it sucks. Windy Hill location is awesome. Friendly service and they want and appreciate your business. These locations are all within a 5 mile radius of this Cobb location. If the Cobb location is ever too busy go to the Windy Hill location. They will get you in and out too! I do this on my hour lunch break whenever I rent a car from the Windy Hill location. They are not as busy either if you want a rental without a reservation. Go check them out if you need a rental on the whim. read more

I made a reservation on a Saturday and was confirmed that the car would pick us up on Sunday @ 930. They never came and when I called they said they were too busy and werent sure when they could pick us up. I called the customer service number and they could not even get through to the local branch. I finally had to cancel after an hour of wasted time getting no where and was late to our destination. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! Probably the quickest I have ever gotten a car. And they gave me a free upgrade from a mid-grade car to a Chevy Camaro! My car was in the shop, and I had to extend my rental a couple times as it was taking longer than expected for repairs to be made. Each time I called, they were like "no problem... don't worry about it!" When it was time to return the car, I was quickly given a ride to the shop to pick my car up. I am pleased with the service and availability of rentals at this location. I want to give Kudos to Brian who is my favorite agent. He is courteous and attentive to my needs and I believe he is the one who is most in tune with the repeat customers' needs. If I were in a position to recruit him from Enterprise, I would. He exemplifies the service that make companies great. I also hope that Enterprise is penalizing driver who rent non-smoking cars but still smoke in them. As a non-smoker I am very sensitive to the smell of cigarettes and I know when I have been placed in a vehicle that had a smoker in it. I was placed in a car here for a week due to a care accident and my son accidently left his Beats 3 headphones underneth the driver seat; I immediately called to report the incident. I have not recieved a call back regarding this matter from the store manager or GM of this store and it has been over a month now. Every staff member at this location near Franklin Rd has been polite and very good at their jobs. My two complaints are that on the turn in, there are never enough people working (usually a Saturday or Sunday), and the wait is very long. The one or sometimes two people are just not enough to handle the crowds that have been there each time I was there. They really hustle as fast as they can, but the wait time is bad. Secondly, I have this thing about dirty cars inside. and filthy seat covers. I don' t get why more attention can't be paid to the appearance of the vehicles. I rent from a different location normally, however on this particular occasion my usual location was out of vehicles. This was my complete worst experience with Enterprise. I traveled to the location at about 9:30A.M. and I wasn't able to get situated with a vehicle until 1P.M. that afternoon. This was due to the unavailability of the enterprise plus team ( It was a Saturday) to shed light on an issue, and the lack of policy knowledge by the person handling my rental. For 3 hours I watched people coming and being taken care of, while my issue was left unresolved. Finally when I got sick of making futile phone calls, watching other customers complete their transactions and being overlooked, I asked,"What do I need to do to get out of here??" Then I was finally taken care of. I intended to use my rewards points for part of my rental period. That didn't happen due to having my points tied up with the repeated reservations I was told to make, to try and resolve an issue, that as it turns out was caused by trying combine rewards with a discount. No one in the location was aware of this as well as I spoke to several people on several different calls by dialing member services, and no one there was aware of the conflicting issue either. I didn't have any issues making the reservations with the combination of the two online, and it wasn't until I called member services for at least the 5th time that the customer service agent made me aware of the conflict. Your plus membership is supposed to be a customer perk for frequent patronage, however in this case it truly was just a huge headache and a wasted afternoon. Unless I have no other options I would not opt to do business at this location again. read more
