    I was recently rear ended and my insurance sent me here for a rental. They could not have been…read morenice enough or more efficient. My issue comes from today when I returned the car. Check in and out was a breeze. When I needed a ride to the auto shop comes my issue. They have a huge passenger van that the really needs a step ladder to get in. I hoisted myself up in which with two replacement knees not any easy feat. I went to buckle the seat belt and it broken. I slide over to the other side. We get there I slide back over and an can't get the door open. Another passenger had to open it for me. Not the driver! Getting out was very difficult to the point the passenger offered to help me. I did manage to sort of fall out and it the process re hurt my back which I'm already having treatments for. I did call and who ever answered the phone said someone would call me back??? He did say something to the effect because of the pandemic. I get it, I really do but if you have to use that ridiculously high van, get a step stool. Not acceptable! This can make your head hurt, you reached out to me and asked me to email you the details which I did and then you replied to I needed to send it to claims? My complaint?

Starting to shift rentals away from enterprise purely because this location can't ever keep up. Renting a car has become a pain, wait time is entirely too long. Should take minutes but usually requires 40-60min minimum.

After returning the car, I found the actual charge on my credit card was $1,183.63, that is, over THREE TIMES of the booked price!!! Why? Because these demons added a fee called "Excess Distance Charge" based on my entire mileage (1,726 mi) to be $655.88! This is freaking and insane. See the second image, issues are: 1) The demons charged me on 10 days (3 Day + 1 Week) as well as on mileage (1,726 mi). How can they overcharge twice on two items, both days and miles?! 2) "Excess" means something beyond limits. For instance, if I drive over 100 mi/day or outside MO/KS/IL, the extra miles may be defined as "Excess". However, the demons calculated "Excess" miles from 0 (pickup) to 1,726 (dropoff). This is to say when I picked up the car, the mileage was already "Excess". 3) When I picked up the car at St. Louis Airport, the staff did not mention anything about this damned "Excess Distance Charge" or the car does not have unlimited miles. I was not informed of such a ridiculous charge by anybody during the rental process. I have experience renting cars in the USA and in foreign countries. All rentals are based on days and most have unlimited miles. It is my first time to see such a hidden and unreasonable charge, which reflects the ugly greed to rip money from my pocket by any means. From now on, National Car Rental is blacklisted and banned from my life. Such a diabolic company without honoring contractual obligations should perish from the Earth ASAP.

This review is for Mel Woodson, a management trainee. This young man is going places...he was very personable, friendly, and very respectful. Also a big thank you to the gentleman that helped me during my return as well. They were gentleman and very respectful. This provided a very positive experience for me. My flight was delayed and I landed past my reservation and he helped me in a very efficient manner and was super nice. I appreciated his genuine nature and making sure I chose something that suited me well and made me feel comfortable during my work stay. I hope he continues to grow with his experience here at enterprise and continues to do well. This is my first time renting in Missouri with Enterprise and it was such a positive experience. My only suggestion/ complaint, it was Just a little confusing when returning, you have to turn at the light and enter a side gate. There was an arrow but I wasn't for sure if it meant the area I was in or through that lot. Depending on what gps you use, it will take you to the front with like visitor parking. Perhaps more signage or better signage for those new to area. I arrived late at night days prior, so I only saw one side when using the shuttle at first arrival and this was a new side to me when returning during the afternoon.

    Collinsville Vandalia Street not sure why it states Beltline…read more Extremely Disappointed with Avis Ongoing Theft and Lack of Accountability I will never rent from Avis again, and I strongly discourage others from doing so. My husband and I initially rented a vehicle from Avis in March, starting with a weekly rate. After extending our rental, we transitioned to a monthly rate. From April through June, however, we noticed a disturbing pattern: unauthorized and excessive charges were repeatedly made to my credit card by the same Avis location. To be specific: * In April, I was charged $734, followed by $658 the very next day, and then $634 the day after. * This pattern repeated in May and June. * The total excess charges amount to thousands of dollars. We did not catch the discrepancies until June, at which point I immediately filed a report with both Avis customer service and my credit card company. Unfortunately, neither party has taken responsibility: * My credit card provider claims that due to our rental agreement, they cannot process a refund. * Avis has refused to refund me, claiming they won't process anything further because I filed a dispute with the bank. * Each time I reopen the case, Avis closes it without resolution. * The employee involved is still working at the location and has now blocked me. * The manager has not once contacted me, despite being told repeatedly that he would. This experience has been not only financially damaging, but completely disheartening. What started as a simple rental has resulted in unauthorized charges, poor accountability, and zero transparency. Avis has demonstrated a complete lack of concern for customer protection or integrity. We've since switched to Turo, and will never use Avis again. I am now exploring legal representation, as it's clear that no one at Avis is taking this seriously. The way this situation has been handled is unethical and possibly criminal.
