We rented a midsize SUV for 4 days. The service was prompt and friendly upon arrival and return. Gabby, who waited on us was very accommodating. Worst experience with Enterprise ever! Do not use this rental location, employee on site was just terribly disrespectful and non-existent customer service. The rental was not blowing air conditioning, unfortunately I was traveling during the rental Out of state and was unable to get it fixed on enterprises behalf. Although I did bring it to fill up on coolant and still no fix. The temperature did not get cold. When I mentioned I learned of this issue employee became nasty. read more

I had to rent a car from November through June. I had had an accident so they gave me the bargain price of $40 a day I paid out-of-pocket they would not give me any loyalty points, citing it a special insurance cost. Add any other rental I would've gotten a better car for that price and points. Unfortunately since I went through Mercedes Benz, I didn't have a choice but to go through enterprise. The cars were OK. I can't say I was riding in the lap of luxury. Their cars are not equipped with a tow reader, so I was charged for the tolls plus $40 for Administrative fees . Never again. read more

My pick up went pretty smoothly. I did a one-way rental of a Nissan Altima. I got in the car and took off for my trip. When I went to plug in my aux cable, I found that something was jammed into the hole. I called the location and asked if they had anything else. The only car they had was a compact car, that was not going to work for me. They asked me to come back to see if they could get whatever was stuck in the hole, out. He tried but it wasn't budging. I asked if the car had bluetooth, I was told no. I headed out once again and while stopping to get gas, I played around with some buttons, I figured out it did have bluetooth and I connected my phone. All was great until after my first rest-stop break, when I got in the car, it showed that I had an incoming call (which I didn't) and the bluetooth no longer worked. I spent the rest of my 4 hour drive going through radio stations. The other big issue with the car (which only had around 20,000 miles on it) was each time I had to brake hard, the car would veer (strongly) to the left. Not the safety car in the world. I'm always hesitant to use traditional car rental services (I prefer ZipCar), but this branch redeemed the process for me. There was an issue with my reservation, but the man assisting me (Michael?) was extremely courteous and rectified the situation entirely, exceeding my expectations for the experience. Worst experience ever with enterprise. Taneisha was very unwilling to help and further assist me in my travel needs. When I explained I called and spoke with customer service and they have given me to rent a car with a temp ID along side my passport. After calling again customer service said that I was good to go but Taneisha instead of trying to help gave me an invalid phone number to call and promptly left as I asked to speak with her area manager. I booked a reservation with this location in September. Upon arrival to retrieve the car, I was told there were no vehicles left. My ride had already left and there was no offer to assist me with traveling to another location. After several phone calls, the associate arranged to have me retrieve a vehicle at a different location again, without any offer to drive me there, be picked up or have the vehicle delivered. I had to contact a friend to pick me up and drive me to the other Enterprise location on Blue Heron. A phone call prior to arrival would have been professional and appreciated instead of leaving me hanging. Once at Blue Heron, they didn't have the vehicle I requested and informed me they couldn't add my Enterprise reward number. After returning the vehicle, Blue Heron called me demanding I return the vehicle at that location (I returned to where I originally agreed to). I advised the associate I already returned the vehicle, a day early nonetheless, to where I agreed to per my contract. I didn't even request being compensated for the early return. I usually use Enterprise because they are often the most professional, however this could not be further from my experience this time. I emailed customer service and going on two months later, I have heard nothing from management or the regional office in Palm Beach. I gave them the opportunity to at least acknowledge what happened, but they dropped the ball. Completely unsatisfied. read more

This is a small location, and when I say small I mean they MIGHT have a dozen vehicles. The vehicle we got was dirty and smelled like someone was a little too enthusiastic with the deodorizer. Still, the rep at the desk was polite and we got a vehicle, so no complaints on the customer service side. UPDATE 11/11/14 I was contacted through Yelp from an Enterprise Customer Service agent regarding the content of this review. It is clear that customer service is a top priority with Enterprise. Okay, so the vehicle itself wasn't perfect. I was happy to receive a comment from Enterprise and feel that this did a lot to smooth over the situation, and ultimately, it made my overall experience a pleasant one. I was a little skeptical renting from this location due to all the low star ratings, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. The staff were awesome. Just went over the vehicle with me, helped me select an insurance option, and before I knew it I was on the road. Incredibly easy. Returning the car was just as seamless. The car was in great condition. Just a few exterior scratches that were pointed out to me, which gained my trust and appreciation. Inside was spotless and odor-free. Plus, they were able to get me an upgrade. Yes, theirs a small fleet of vehicles. But they more than make up for it with helpful and friendly service. After returning the keys, I was even asked if I needed to be dropped off somewhere close by. I would 100% rent from them again. read more

Car was reserved at this Enterprise location. Called ahead to be sure a car was available and told yes a car was available. When arrived to pick it up we were told don't have a car available. There was no offer to call another Enterprise location to help us find a car or to call us when a car was available. Very poor customer service. With insurance and incidentals, cost of the rental was 150% more than budgeted. Gave me a minivan when i asked for a compact, saying they would call when a suitable replacement came in. Never called. Hope you are not in a hurry when you use this Enterprise. I rent cars frequently and the drop off process tends to run 2 to 5 minutes most places. Not here. Pulled onto the lot...no one outside to inspect and check in vehicle. Okay. Go inside. Two customer service personnel on duty. One is helping a customer who is angry because the car he rented had no gas in it when they gave it to him. The other is calling a customer's company to get their policy on whether he needs to purchase insurance. No acknowledgement of my presence or existence. I wait and wait and then wait some more. Finally the second counter person gets her insurance question answered. She completes the rental, signs the customer out, and promptly jets off to the back office--leaving one counter person to handle the angry customer, me, and the constantly ringing phone. The remaining clerk finishes with the angry customer then starts answering phone calls. Several minutes later I look at my watch. It's now 536 pm. That means I have been here about 25 minutes now. Suddenly it dawns on me. They can see the rental contract and keys in my hand. They know I am just checking a car back in. They already have my money, so I am priority last--I can wait. Got it. Curious business philosophy, but nothing I can do about it at the moment. Next time I need to rent a car, however, I will walk a mile past the Enterprise sign to rent from literally anybody else. 5 star all the way.... I am a serial car renter---kind of like a serial dater, only i do cars. Now, why I am telling you this? Because I travel A LOT (business and personal), rent cars all over the world and have seen the good the bad and the ugly with car rental agencies. Now more to the point. I have rented at the North Palm location on several occasions. The staff has been nothing but stellar with me. They have always gone out of their way to accommodate my needs, honored the internet rate when I asked at the counter, picked me up and on time without hesitation and occasionally given me an upgrade when I didn't ask (I think based on their availability). And let me not forget to say POLITE. Yeah, sure, I have seen a cranky moment, but I get them too. The difference is that the staff of North Palm really go out of their way to service their customers. I have seen it first hand. I have heard the employees ask customers if they were happy with their customer service. Everyone was smiling and answered YES..(at least the times I was there) As for driving me or anyone to the the West Palm Airport--there is NO RENTAL CAR AGENCY that would ever do that as the distance is too far. If someone wants to be driven to the airport, rent from the airport, not an agency that is 10-15 miles away. The only reason for one star is couldn't figure out how to rate no stars or negative stars.If this is not the worst customer service company in the world is definitely in the top 5. Reserved a mini van on Oct 20th pick-up for 12/29 - 1/6. Arrived at the location at 910am. The lobby was full of unhappy customers. One rental agent and one detail person to handle an extraordinary number of customers. I was told about an hour into my wait that there were no min vans. Wes eventually checked and said there were check ins due. After another hour wait Wes denied his previous commitment and said he had no mini vans due. He did take our number to call if one should check in. I hope we available to get the call as if we had to call back no one answers the phone. It must be a company wide policy to not answer phone in time of consumer trouble as we called the corporate number, the airport (PBI) and several local locations to no avail. I reserved a mini van as we need to pick up family with luggage at an airport 100 miles away and neither of our vehicles individually can accommodate. Enterprise may be the biggest with more cars, more people, more revenue than any other car rental company, bur who cares. The advertising should be we are not easy or cheap, but our customer service is miserable. read more

Just want to share an experience that is hard to believe, but it happened to me. I have rented a car from this location for two days to drive for work to Bradenton, FL. I normally rent from Avis, but wanted to have a car brought to my house and know enterprise does it. However I was told that they don't do it at this location and I have to pick it up. The car was given to me with almost empty tank and I was told to bring a full tank back. Upon return, I asked the agent to email me a receipt. Next morning the receipt was still not emailed and I have to call the office three time and still didn't get a receipt after providing them with two different email addresses. I had to fill out a customer support request on the enterprise website requesting a receipt. Next day the receipt was emailed, however it was not mine , but for someone else in Quebec, Canada. To add to my frustration the rental charged me twice, first on my corporate card and then also on the personal visa that I provided them upon renting a car as I didn't have my corporate card with me. Now, five days later I don't have receipt, was charged twice for the same rental transaction and don't have any confidence when this all be resolved. Everyone was kind, helpful and professional. I had them pick me up. He was on time and courteous. He even stayed in the car with my dog while I did the paperwork. Ayana was very helpful in giving me the car that I wanted for a reasonable price. When I went back after a week and needed the car for three more days, they gave me a weekend rate and even upgraded me, because another customer didn't want the large vehicle they had for her, so we traded, making everyone happy.I felt they were really on a mission to please their customers! read more

The enterprise in Weston gave me a car that smells like a cross between cat piss and mildew. I need this car for a whole week because my car is in the shop. Of course, they aired out the car so I didn't notice the smell until later on that day. I called enterprise and they said that I could exchange the car at any enterprise location. I went to this location because it was right down the street. They refused to help me and they didn't have any cars on their lot. The guy (Richard) really was a DICK!!!!!! they wouldn't even getme a car for the next day. He was very rude and unhelpful. I went to pick up a car at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in early April for a wedding, and there were no cars. Here is the note I sent to them, with details... "I made a reservation a few weeks before a wedding I was going to, traveling from Palm Beach Gardens to the wedding in the keys. The day I was to drive down, I went to the Enterprise location to find out that there were no cars. No cars. I made a reservation, not one car. I had to scramble to borrow a family members car, leaving them to use Uber for their inconvenience, and arriving hours later than expected. This was unacceptable, and I can personally say that I have been telling everyone of the incident, and that Enterprise does not value a reservation. It was a sickening feeling not knowing if I could make a good friends wedding, not knowing if I would be discarding a $300/night hotel. I got there, but not without issue. Your people didn't seem to care, they had a "whoops" attitude, and I plan to tell the world about it. This is the last reservation I will ever make with your company, and I will be posting this to my FB, Twitter, Yelp, and all other accounts I have.
