So....I only gave you ONE star .... if I did not, I could not leave this review. You deserve 5…read moreNEGATIVE stars.
2 months ago , my son's ( actually My) Land Rover LR3 was pelted by a huge hailstorm while driving on I-95 in Palm Beach and minutes later, he had major leaks in his car. Claim adjusters got involved as a result of a grossly misdiagnosed issue by Pam Westenberger, and shot the claim down as wear and tear to the forward sunroof. The car was taken to Ed Morse Collision Center on Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens, where they (manager Pam Westenberger) grossly misdiagnosed a sunroof leak and ultimately fried the motor to the sunroof while doing leak checks at the shop. Pam Westenberger actually lied repeatedly to me by saying the sunroof had never been opened one time. Subsequent calls to her boss at Ed Morse, John Ullmann were of no avail. He obviously didn't care about quality control and NEVER called me back after 4 calls plus emails directly to him. ... State Farm had various pictures at the shop with the sunroof open.... OOPS....
Long story short.... I made a few calls to State Farm, and my phenomenal agent bar none- Tony Tibaldi got the claim forwarded to the highest level and again it got shot down because of Pam. When Pam was called by my agent Tony Tibaldi and myself, she became irate, started screaming, and hung up on us. She has ZERO professionalism and should not be managing anything. She is not a reputable person, nor is her boss John Ullmann.
I took it upon myself to call a very reputable Mom and Pop shop that worked on my son's car previously, Vic's in Lake Park, and they referred me to Central Auto Trim (Rick) to diagnose the problem. Very professional and VERY knowledgeable people....to diagnose the leak. Alas, as originally thought, the sunroof was NOT leaking one bit, and the drains worked fine, but the level of this repair was out of their scope of expertise. SCORE: Central Auto Trim 1, Ed Morse Collision Center ZERO....
So we got referred to Andy by Central Auto Trim to basically do the final diagnosis and repair. All that I can say is that Andy is a consummate professional, and great businessman, while being a fine human being as well.
Andy tirelessly troubleshot the car, doing more tear down and diagnostics on HIS dime, and ultimately concluded that the leaks truly happened as a result of the deluge of hail and water at high speed, and again, that the sunroof was NOT leaking, nor the drains as diagnosed at Ed Morse Collision Center.
He worked tirelessly with the adjuster and my agent at State Farm to do the right thing and help to get this claim covered for me.
Because we persevered and worked together as a team and he was able to explain in detail to a Senior Claim Manager to plead our case. Justice prevailed, and now 3000$ worth of charges and a rental car later, we won and it's fully covered. He also delivered the car to Central to have the headliner reinstalled free of charge.
Score: Andy's and Central 2- Ed Morse ZERO.
This would not have happened except for Andy's continued troubleshooting and perseverance.
Andy is personally the best , most honest, straightforward, repair specialist I've ever had, and a very reputable and professional
Agent. If you want THE man to repair your car , Andy is your man.

I have been a loyal State Farm customer for 32 years, including auto, multiple home, life, liability umbrella, etc....
I am allowed to call you out. You DO NOT DESERVE to be a "preferred " State Farm collision and adjusting center. I have stated this to the highest authority in both Florida and PA. Having that designation is a privilege. You deserve to have it taken away. I ultimately plan on doing just that. You OWE me one sunroof motor.
