Twice my family and I have booked a van and upon arrival they tell us they don't have the car available anymore. The solution has been to give us a much smaller car that didn't fit our needs, while still being charged for the size we originally booked. This past weekend we reserved another rental for Memorial Day and we finally received the right van this time but it was given to us in poor condition. The worker opened the door and saw how dirty it was and offered to vacuum but it barely made a difference. We even found a black widow on the outside of the car. Regarding gas, the tank was nearly empty when we drove off so we had to fill up on gas right away and wash the car and sanitize everything because of how filthy it was from the previous renters. I booked a car a few days ago. Got to the location for my pick up at 5:30pm and they told me to wait a bit to see what they have available because they were backed up. At 6 they told me that there would be no car available. I asked why they would confirm a booking if they didn't have inventory available, they said because they accept all weekend bookings. By the time I got out of there empty handed, all other rental places were closed so now I'm heading to the airport to see if I can do a last minute booking. Tons of people waiting in the lobby. One guy had been waiting since 11am for a car. They could have at least called ahead of time and let us know that there wasn't a car available. Won't book through them again. read more

I've been renting from the Enterprise in Norwalk for years and have always had excellent service. I even rented a car there last week with no issues. Today, I went in person to reserve a Suburban, Wagoneer, or Escalade for this Saturday. Maty E. said she needed to check availability and would call me. When I called back three hours later, she told me she wouldn't have an answer until Friday--even though I need the vehicle on Saturday. Waiting four days to find out if a vehicle is available is unacceptable. This is the first bad experience I've had at this location, and it's very unacceptable. read more

Every time I rent a car from this place, the cars do not have a full tank as expected with any other rental car facility. It's very difficult to gauge how much to put back in when you return without giving back gasoline to the rental car company. With these gas prices these days it's very difficult to not give up a lot of fuel back to the car company. You will get charged an enormous amount will if you do not fill up to when you picked up. It's really a big inconvenience to have to guess how much to fill up upon return. read more

I reserved my 12 passenger van months in advance. Less than 48 hours notice before my pick up Natalie the store manager called me to notify me that there was a recall and they won't be able to accommodate my reservation. Natalie went above and beyond to make it right! She was very apologetic and had suggestions of the bat. I also had some issues with the car I did receive and again she went above and beyond to make it right. My whole experience wasn't a 5 star for sure, but with Natalie going above and beyond to make it right every step of the way, nothing less than a 5 star review has been earned. read more

The staff are rude and unprofessional. The woman who handled my insurance reservation was too occupied trying to make a point (with attitude) rather than explain the process. When I asked her for more information on the "policy and procedure s" she cited she, said she would send them to me if she could find them and tried to hang up on me. When I spoke to the assistant manager Anthony Quan he took the time to explain the policy and listen to my question. I have rented through Enterprise for years both for personal and professional and this latest incident has me reevaluating using this company. Anthony quan, the assistant manager, was horrible I don't care if people have a bad attitude but not doing your job correctly is pathetic. Did not go over any of the features within the vehicle, did not pull the car out for a walk around to check any prior damage, left the windshield wipers on and did not tell me where he left the key I had to ask he just walked away. read more

I had to rent a car because we put my husbands car in the shop and were told it might take a week so we decided to rent a car. I've done business with Enterprise before in the past and have never had any issues. The customer service and prices were always great and the process was so fast and easy. I do appreciate the fact that I do not need to do a credit check just to rent a car. I tried Hertz before and I did not know they had to do a credit check, I ended up going with Enterprise because I do not like people running my credit if I'm not buying the car. I made a reservation online through Costco travel and got a great deal. I went in on Wednesday morning at 8am to pick up my rental, Eric was the one to help me. I was in and out maybe 15 minutes because we do an inspection together before they release the car. The process is so fast and easy. Eric was so friendly and helpful. I dropped off the car this morning at 9am when they opened 4 days before my original turn in date and Karen was so helpful. I thought it was going to be an issue as I have never returned the vehicle before the original turn in date and Karen was very friendly about it and it just made the drop off so much more smoother. I would say I was in and out maybe 10 minutes. I will continue to do my business with Enterprise in the future. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. I've used enterprise for years and have never had such a bad experience as this. I reserved a premiere suv and even received a confirmation code for the rental. The day before my pick up at 1:30 I get a call saying that they won't be able to fulfill my reservation. Their reasoning is the corporate over booked them and there's nothing they can do. But looking at their website that suv is available, but for double the original rate I originally booked for. They said there isn't any of the premiere suv around them. But when I called other locations near them they had it. Seems like they don't want to rent it out for the lower rate so they can get the revenue. I've talked to several people at customer service and was told an area supervisor will be calling me. I think that's their tactic to get you off the phone. The reservation was for Thursday 7/20 and it's now Sunday 7/23 and still haven't received a call. I even emailed care@enterprise and I think that's an email address to collect emails of complaints so they can laugh about all the people they screwed over. Avoid this enterprise cause all they will do is ruin your trip plans hours before you're set to depart. Reading some of the reviews this isn't the first time they are doing this to people. They'll probably flag this review to be removed like all the other 1 star reviews so if you're reading this make sure to check the 1 star reviews and you'll see how these shady mofos operate. read more

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Tony and his "Team" are very rude and disrespectful. My husband had gotten rear ended insurance told us to go to a body shop and the rental place would pick him up from there. Just so happened to be the rental place was enterprise a female picked them up. Was also very rude no customer service at all. They drive up to enterprise , get out of the vehicle , my husband had three of our children ages 4, 2 and 8 months. Go inside speak to the guy in the picture my husband handed him his form of identification which was a temporary drivers license. They informed him due to company policy they cannot take it so my husband then hands him his passport. Guy then said he cannot take that either. My husband then says okay, well are you doing to take me back to my car ? Since I am now unable to get home. The guy then says "Naw bro I can't do that". VERY UN PROFESSIONAL. My husband then calls me while I am at work an hour away. I can hear two males in the background arguing with my husband *THE CUSTOMER*. My husband is frustrated at this point of course especially since he has our three children with no transportation at all. While on the phone with him I ask my husband can you speak the manager? He said one of these guys here is saying he is the manager. I then hear a new voice say "Man you can take your business outside!" My husband then responds with "So you want me to go outside with my children in the heat?" The male voice then responds saying "Yeah ! Go outside." So I told my husband ask for their names , he does. They all laugh at him and say "It's a free country I don't need to give you my name ! " mind you one of these individuals is the "Manager". At that point I then decide to go pick them up. I drive up to the place ONE HOUR LATER and my husband is still outside in the sun with our children. I see 1 female employee and 1 male employee outside. I walk inside there is 2 male employees inside. I walk up to the guy at the front desk ask if he was the one helping my husband he said no. Then a guy walks up very forcefully towards me and says"What's up?" I said excuse me ? Are you one of the employees that was helping my husband he said not initially but yes. I said okay and are you the manager ? He said yes , I said can I have your name. He didn't want to tell me he continued to avoid the question I asked for the employees names and he wouldn't tell me their names either. Until I asked for Corporates number , his name was Tony. Very very unprofessional especially for management. I would NEVER go here again. Tony has no compassion towards human kind. And Tony we did make a complaint to corporate and they were not happy with what we had to say about you, and your team. read more

We have been renting here for a while, they have cheaper rates than surrounding cities. Buena Park also has cheaper rates (fyi). Anthony helped me when i picked up, he was so nice! I watched how he dealt with some rude customers and he was so well composed and never took it personal. Mario helped me check the car in and out and was super helpful with our rental. If I could give a zero for this Norwalk location I would. Now here's what happened I booked a rental 2 hours before I needed it yes on a Saturday morning for the Norwalk location as the pick up. I left my house in an Lyft that I paid for 20 minutes before the appointment time and an associate called me from the Norwalk Enterprise asking if I was pressed for time at which point I said yes I needed the rental to get to work. Then he proceeded to tell me he was alone and that there were no cars at the Norwalk location and that it would be a wait. To which I responded then why let me be able to book an appointment for 1030 am if you're not going to have a car available to which he says well you only booked it today. That has nothing to do with it, if you don't have a car to rent don't let me book an appointment! To which he says that's why I'm giving you a courtesy call. Excuse me like he's doing me a favor. First of all you're calling me 20 minutes before my appointment I'm already on the way in a Lyft I waisted $18 for that Enterprise isn't reimbursing. Second he says well go run errands. Excuse me I don't have a car that's why I'm getting a rental because I need to go to work. At that point he says well do you want to cancel the reservation and immediately I say yes! It's this person in particular who made the experience much more worse and unfortunately I was so upset I don't remember his name. However the Enterprise at the Longo Toyota in El Monte came thru! So they made up for this horrible persons service. Enterprise needs to retrain your employees on customer service at the Norwalk location. Worst rental experience. We booked a 15 seater van and got a confirmation email. One day before the trip they call late afternoon to let us know the van was unavailable and we had to choose another vehicle. I escalated the issue to a supervisor thru email because they never have time to speak to their customers and no reply. I continued to email the executive of customer service and got no reply. The person who called to give us the bad news could not tell me who made the error. My family and I had to cancel our family trip because we were here from out of town and had no means to travel with all family and with gas prices renting more than one vehicle was out of our budget. I really just hope they train their employees better it really does place a sour memory for their customers. Needless to say we will not be doing business with this company again. read more

The car I was given to rent was actually from a filthy driver from some airport or whatever who just stentched up the car. And for the passenger headrest being backward and the dirtiness of the car, no idea what happened there. BUT! Enterprise came through and their personal care is super awesome. I was too quick to post a review before actually calling in advance because of my busy schedule. Turns out they can just change the car and also drive straight to your location, whether work or home. So there you go, I can't think of any other to complain about. Enterprise doesn't disappoint! and....Of course.... I'll be coming back soon. read more
