At least then I won't get slapped with a housekeeping fee after I returned the RV clean. They tacked on extra charges out of nowhere, and when I asked about it, the manager acted like I committed a crime. I rented a 15 seater passenger van and once I got to my destination, we realized two seats had been removed so we did not have enough seats for our group. Also, they are listed as opening at 8:30 and BOTH days I had to call them to remind them to come in to open their business. I have never had a worse experience before. I made a phone call to the brothers over there and they had me in a RV with less than a 48 Hour notice. I rented an RV through Cruise America and went into the Carson location where I was treated with scoffs and employees who are annoyed with customers asking questions and it's clear that they hate life. Well I changed my reservation from the drab Carson location to this one. I called a few times and asked several questions before I even went in and was greeted joyfully and all my annoying questions and concerns were addressed. The day of our rental, we were contacted that morning and told our rental was vandalized, they offered us an alternative which was fine. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and positivity despite what happened. The gentleman were amazing. The RV was in GREAT condition and they showed us how to properly use everything. This was my first camping experience and this company provided the main tool to make it memorable. This will be my go to spot for all my rental needs in the future. Then we had no hose for the water tank and the refrigerator didnt work. The rental process was actually ok. Rented the car on Saturday the 13th. We had to wash the car when we got it, the inside and outside. The real problem was when we returned the car on Monday, they checked the car and didn't mention anything about a smoke smell(neither my fiancée or I smoke) and no one was in the car with us, they waited until the car was checked in and charged us an extra $50 saying it smelled like smoke and we both don't smoke at all. Maybe they should detail their cars after each rental(for safety concerns also) and they wouldn't have this issue. Will never rent from this place again!!!! read more

We broke down on the freeway close to them and needed a car right away. They had a few on the lot ready to go. In and out very quickly with no issues. I only rented for one day hoping my car would be fixed in one day, but it was not. I called to extend for one day, no problem. Return was just as easy. We found them using Google but we tried a couple name brand car rental places first. Both were bad experiences. They had no cars available and when you called you got a corporate office number so you had to wait until they were able to access their website to see if they had anything available. I really enjoyed renting from them and would definitely do so again! I had to book a last minute 15- seater van and they were so helpful in helping me reserve the van. They didn't have one at the location so Rosa called to other locations to find one. Excellent service! The only thing that wasn't ideal was a seat was taken out so it was just 14 seats (we had carefully calculated the number of seats needed) so we had to do some major adjusting to make things work. We didn't realize a seat was taken out until right before leaving either. I had been asked that morning when they called to confirm my reservation if I needed all 15 seats and I said yes. I just could not find any that will work with me. Finally I came across Xpress Auto I got a good quote for a week. Unfortunately my rental need to be extended and all I had to do was call them and let them know I was not ready to return the vehicle. There was never any problem. The only thing is that when I turned it in I got charged a fee for cleaning of the vehicle witch I thought was a little unfair because I feel like a rental is a rental and your paying for a reason. I am still in shock about how horrible this owner bitch was that I am calling the Better Business Bureau on this insane pig. So yesterday I go in with my mom to rent a u haul and there is a female Downey Officer outside taking a report cause a car was stolen off the lot . I did not know this and went in to knock on the door behind the desk , big mistake . So this woman walks out and starts yelling loud that a car was stolen to bad we have to wait blah blah I did not know this and she was yelling in my face , it was so embarrassing!! Well she then started screaming, not yelling and told my mother and I to get out of office and I just stood there staring Then she went outside and got a really lovely Downey PD police officer Perez to kick us out the office!!!! So Perez was very nice and she told us unfortunately she has the right to refuse service if I were you I would never come back here again just don't ever give this woman any business ever again ,, so my mom and I left .
