Please be warned. They do not deserve our service. I made a reservation with Enterprise three weeks in advance, only to arrive at pickup and be told there were no cars available. This completely defeats the purpose of reserving ahead of time. To make matters worse, there was only one employee managing everything, including driving duties, and there seemed to be no organization or clear scheduling. Then there was a driver just standing around asking when he was supposed to take his lunch? The lack of staffing and coordination created unnecessary delays and frustration. Overall, the customer service was very disappointing. I expected a much more reliable and professional experience, especially with a confirmed reservation. I call the 800 # They took all my information and was supposed to book me a car. They never called back. Thank goodness we didn't wait. I also called the Whittier location and wow the service over phone was worse and it was a manager. I have now booked out of my city!! What I shouldn't have to do. read more

I had a reservation at the Whittier location. For some reason the pickup service and driver took me to the Carmenita office(SFS). Once I arrived the gave me a Mitsubishi. I asked the representative if there was something else. He said no. I really needed to get home and figured it wasn't that bad. It actually was. This car had the worst smell I have ever experienced, it got worst as I drove. The car was so dirty and had scratch marks everywhere. The tires were so bald that every time I turned it squeaked. The brakes were so bad, I was scared that the car would not stop. I took the car to the Whittier location and they swapped out the vehicle for a newer and nicer Nissan Rouge. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I called three times for a reservation that was already made... I was put on hold for 20 minutes each time and then after waiting, they hang up. When you call again, they pick up, say can you hold and then put you on hold before you have a chance to answer. I've been trying to confirm that my vehicle is ready for an hour. They put me in a car that smelled like cigarettes. A few days later, the push start was hesitating until on day 6 it just decided to not start at all. Very dissatisfied with the customer service experience With the Whittier location. I booked a MID size car a few days in advance before my trip. I called a day before to confirm details of my reservation ensuring that the car will be a good fit for 5 people. On the pickup day, I went to the location to get the car and even though they have several mid size and SUVs available, the representative offered me a Golf hatchback car which fits hardly 3 people. Alternatively, she said I could get a BMV SUVs for an extra 50 USD a day. I rent cars extensively and this has been the worst experience ever. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else, this is a waste of time and money. I walked out of the place without a car. I just left and I had a not so pleasant experience with the representative by the name of Christian. I just reserved a car yesterday from the DTLA location and decided not to get insurance because initially I reserved the car for a couple of days. My actual car is being worked on and I had been advised that it won't be ready until next week so I decided to visit another location closer to my job and extend the reservation as well as add insurance. What I did NOT sign up for was an interrogation regarding the scratches and damages on the car. Christian met me outside, I explained my purpose for visiting and he asked for the keys. He walked around the whole car pointing out discrepancies and asking me about each individual one. "What happened here?" "how about this?" "What about this, this wasn't you either?" "Hmm, are you sure?" Like wtf?! Don't you all have a system that communicates this type of stuff?! And I'm not returning the car I am extending my existing reservation. He then asked me about a particular spot on the car door where it looks like it was damaged and repainted. I let him know for the 4th time I did not damage vehicle and I've only had it for 24 hours. Logically do you think I would be able to damage a car, take it to a repair shop, have it repainted, let it dry and bring it to you in one day??! He then walks away and says he needs to call the other location to verify the damages. By this time, I took it personal. Eventually after calling the other location and not receiving a response he was able to check the system and verify everything that he asked me as well as the fact that I JUST got this car. He let me know that the other location did not notate the door damage, but I was already over it by this time. I decided to point out the fact that that's not something I would notice off rip. A repainted door? Are you serious? I called the other location myself after leaving to have them notate the damage on the door. They were very polite about it and if it wasn't for the DTLA location I would never utilize this company for a rental again because of this experience I've had today. read more

Worst experience!!! After calling and confirming the inventory, their inventory magically changed when the Manager (Gina) learned I was swapping a current rental (Dodge Ram) out for a vehicle that was comparable to what I owned (Honda Accord). I explained to Gina that I called and confirmed availability before even coming down. I also mentioned the inconvenience I had gone through already with a few other Enterprise shops prior to coming to this one. She showed no empathy or regard. She made it clear she had accounts she communicates with on her phone and needed vehicles available for them. I explained to her I had a reservation for the vehicle they confirmed they had available. She could careless and specifically handed me a business card to contact corporate. All I could do was laugh and proceeded to leave. In the end, Enterprise and this location specifically has a Manager that doesn't care about customer service and it shows. I'll be contacting corporate regarding the experience I had today. After four different locations, this place put the cherry on top. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and rent from Hertz... you'll save yourself from a headache. I will never rent from this location again. The service I received during my previous rental from the sales rep was distasteful. I still love Enterprise and shall always rent from the company. I will not however rent from this location and I also don't recommend anyone to go there. There are so many other choices in the area...why waste your time here? I had reversed a car for 5pm on a Friday. I get to Enterprise and I understand there could be busy days, but I would assume they'd have the vehicle ready for pick up? Joey was outside washing a car for a different customer. I was waiting in the office for about twenty minutes for someone to assist me. Soon it was my turn, we went outside inspected the car. Horrible experience. We rented a 2018 white Dodge Ram. It was left with a bunch of trash inside. The check airbag light & check oil light kept coming on once we were already gone on our trip. Called the branch manager Joe & he just suggested it would be okay or I could take it back to exchange for another vehicle... how? I was already gone. This is why I rented in the first place for a reliable safe car on my trip. Then, we almost crashed about 4 times because while driving on the highway the truck would lock brakes all of a sudden without even touching the brake. I rented a convertible mustang or similar vehicle through Costco and this location was about $40 less than the Pico Rivera location. Two days prior to my pickup I called to confirm they had a mustang convertible and they said they did. To be safe, I called back the next day to confirm and they said they didn't have a mustang and only had a 2 seater Mazda Miata. I asked if they could get a mustang or similar and they said no cars were available. So basically, my reservation meant nothing! Fortunately, I was able to get a convertible from the Pico Rivera location which is part of a different district. Much better service! read more

Enterprise is the only rent a car company that will rent to you without a major credit card. I made sure to read the fine print for customers using debit cards. I made sure I had a copy of our car insurance, proof of income and a copy of our bank stmt with home address on it. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. The young man going over the car with us before turning it over to us, talked us into an upgrade. We were thrilled with the upgrade. It was an Impala with back up cam, bluetooth and lots of other little things to make our 300 + mile trip so pleasant. The customer service was exceptional. The car rode like a magic carpet and was awesome on gas mileage. Returning the car was just as quick and easy as picking it up was. We are definitely making this our go to rent a car company and would highly recommend using them for your rent a car needs! Thanks for making our 25th wedding anniversary that much better! This is a new Enterprise office and although the staff is extremely polite, they need more customer service training. I was incredibly unhappy with the car they gave me and requested something different, explaining what I wanted. First they tried to get me to pay more and when that didn't work, I kept explaining that I don't need a bigger car or a luxury car - I need a car where my high heels won't slide around while I drive because the car lacks floor mats. I also asked for something with a center console control that controls radio, phone, etc. because I'm not used to a touch screen. And the seat wasn't staying in place - it shifted when I hit the very touchy brakes. The branch manager told me he didn't understand and I should come walk his lot myself to see if they have what I need. What kind of customer service is that?! Today I decided to return the vehicle and was met with "but why, I just found you a car I think you'd like; I was just too busy to call you." Really? Too busy to call a paying customer? Or was there never a different car? Additionally they leave customer paperwork on the counter and key cabinet open while they're not at the desk. It's not the best neighborhood - they're just asking for trouble. But seriously, they get a second star just for being truly polite. All of them have great attitudes; it's clear they just don't understand great customer service. read more

I have always rented from Enterprise and will continue to rent from them. Unfortunately I will never return to this location. The manager was not very helpful when it came to picking a rental. When I asked what was available his response was "whatever you see on the lot". Well that didn't help dispute the numerous cars on the lot he only had one available and wouldn't rent it to me because I do not have a major credit card. He also gave me a ridiculous quote for that car saying it is normally $115 a day but he would give me a deal for $77 a day. The crazy thing is I rented the same car from Cerritos enterprise a few weeks before that and they only charge about $54 a day. Thanks for the "deal" but I'm good. I also asked to speak to the manager and he responded with a smirk and remark stating he is the manager. Not a good experience whatsoever. I recommend going to the one I'm Cerritos if you're looking to rent. read more

I will give them 3 stars, I had to rent a car from ( I was in an accident, so my ins paid. All I had pay was the taxes ) enterprise all they had was a ford Focus. I ask if they had a bigger car, I was promise they would have a Nissan Frontier by Monday and they would call. I never received that call, I call them on Monday around noon all I got was the run around. Point is don't promise what you can't keep, I could of given them a 5 star if they would kept their word or of they wouldn't of said anything.
