The employees that work in the Nyack, NY location are horrible. The team that worked the 8AM EST shift on 5/26/26 were extremely rude. They said they didn't have the vehicle we ordered available and then instructed us to find a new enterprise location and figure it out on our own. They locked the doors and shooed us away. I've never in my life experienced that type of rudeness. On the contrary, the employees at the Bardonia, NY location were excellent and helped us right away. read more

Tim, the branch manager of this Enterprise location, really puts his all into his position here. I requested a car at the busy time of Monday morning. My car was sadly in need of at least a week long stay at my mechanics. I had dropped my car off the night before at the shop, and was in need of a ride to Enterprise for a car replacement for the next day. Mondays are very busy at rental businesses since it's after the weekend nonetheless, someone from Enterprise picked me up at my home to get my replacement vehicle. Unfortunately, inventory was non-existent so I had no options but an SUV. I hate driving big cars, and I'm not used to the new technology installed in them for the 'driver's convenience'. My vehicle I drive is a 2013 VW Jetta stick shift! It was not a comfortable transition for me, and I couldn't wait to get a smaller vehicle. I had to wait two days but on the third day, I picked up a compact car which I fell in love with. It was spankin' new, not complicated, and tiny to maneuver in and out of streets, driveways and avenue parking spaces. I was relieved. Tim apologized for the inconvenience, and couldn't have been more gracious. Kudos go to Tim again for not charging me the gas for the two days while I was stuck with the SUV. When I finally returned the compact car, with very little notice on my part, a nice young man drove me back to the mechanic to pick up my own car. Anytime you reserve a car here over the phone or on the app they never have what you ordered but they always tell you to come back the next day in order to fulfill the request undermining your time. I've rented from this location several times & staff member Alex provides good customer service, however, this location is always short staffed having only 1 person responsible for cleaning the cars & processing the rental car transaction. They hardly ever have the class or size car that your reservation was made for! I mean there is a less than 50/50 chance that you get the size car you reserved & they will not willingly upgrade you. One of the last car reservations which was made in this month of August 2024, I was given a 2021 Nissan Kicks! Why is a 2021 vehicle still a part of there rental fleet in the year 2024, approaching 2025?? This vehicle had a dent on the hood of the car & rust damage on the passenger side door! Although I was reimbursed, I also had to get the car washed myself! I could not believe that they would still allow or even have this vehicle as part of their rental fleet! Also, I paid for this reservation with my Rewards point & the rep said you're not paying for it anyway but in fact I'd already paid for it which is why I had thousands of points from there rewards program. Enterprise really needs to provide this location with at least 1 more employee & vehicles that are at least within the previous year, without noticeable body damage! During a prior reservation, the car did not have Apple Car play which clearly meant that the car was an older model, smh. I am a regular rental customer & should receive an expect much better from such a well known rental car company. Enterprise y'all need to do better! This is completely unacceptable!!! read more

Traveling for work means renting a lot of cars across the country and experiencing all types of different facilities. To say I'm impressed with the professionalism and customer service is just the start. Upon entering, I was greeted by Tim with a friendly welcome. He was expecting me as I had an appointment right before I had to go into work. He knew I was pressed for time so he made it a point to handle my order in a fast and efficient manner so I would be out as quickly as possible. The whole process took under 10 min and I couldn't be more thankful at the accommodations. The gentleman who serviced my rental gave me a detailed run-through and showed me some of the car's features. We rented a car yesterday at this location and were greeted and had great customer service from Dillon. He was so helpful in fitting us with the perfect car for our needs. The first car that he attempted to get us into was smelling of smoke and he immediately decided this was not the vehicle for us. As a survivor of second hand smoke, this was very appreciated. We also have a pregnant woman in our party and he had her health in consideration too. Although the lot was very short on available cars to rent, he was able to get us quickly into another vehicle. He was very pleasant and seemed very eager to meet our needs. read more

My car was damaged at Chester Line on rte 17 there was a metal that was part of road support had failed and sticking up in the roadway. Traveling at 65 mph had no time to react and hit the metal support causing damage to the undercarriage of my car. State Police took a report and car was towed to a local yard. Not only I hit it, a bunch of cars did as well. After a few days at the tow company the car was towed to Art Auto body. Get a rental car at Nyack told them what happened and they took advantage. They said we have a Cadillac, did not tell me how much per day, just that it was covered by the insurance. All I had to do was put a deposit and pay for insurance that was taken Incase anything happened. Art Auto body took 25 days with the car and rental was like the Grinch that Stoled Christmas. Cost me 899.91 and they charged my insurance almost 2200 dollars. read more

I've rented from this Enterprise branch three times and each one has been great. I was picked up for two of the rentals. The second time we rented that car smelled strongly of smoke and they gave us a different car and it turned out to be an SUV, which was a free upgrade from what we originally rented. That was nice. The most recent rental was a weeklong rental for our vacation. We rented an intermediate size car and when we arrived for pickup, they had upgraded is for free to an SUV. I have dealt with Katie, Mike, and Brian and they were all a pleasure to deal wit. Would definitely rent from them again. read more

Very disappointed in the poor service. I rented a mid-size sedan online for Saturday, 10/12/18 2:00 pm pick up. I arrived closer to 3:30pm expecting my rental to be ready for immediate drive off. My rental wasn't ready. I did not get my full tank of gas and the vehicle was filthy. They offered to vacuum the rental but I had to wait. I was already pressed for time. To make things worse I returned my car the next day Sunday 10/13/18 12:30 pm and forgot my Oakley shades in the mid console. I called them early Monday morning but they said the shades weren't there. My shades just magically disappeared??? My shades cost more than the rental. Never again. customer beware.. read more

I just felt like the guy guessed at a price per day when I told him why I was renting. Then I said too much. He immediately said well I could lower it 20 bucks. I felt like he was about 70 too high for an economy car. Plus being able to move the price at will makes me feel like again... it's a scam. Almost like when you buy a used car. read more

Very rude service, I booked the rental one month in advance, I didn't receive the right car,I went the next day they were open and they had the nerve to charge me for two days even though we received it Saturday and Sunday they were closed so I ended up going Monday to return the car. After I told them I would never use there service again they told me that they would charge me for three days unless I take a survey Then they would only charge me for two days.Take your rentals elsewhere these people are scam artists. The cars were dirty; the manager showed me three cars and all had expired registration. CHECK the registration before you sign! The 4th car popped up with a braking warning light two blocks from the lot. The manager acted like it was no big deal. I've never had this issue with Hertz. I went to Enterprise because of the convenience. I called Enterprise to file a complaint and never heard back from anyone though I was told I would. All cars dirty and none had full tanks of gas. read more

Lovely customer service :) I was given a rental car through the Nyack location for one month while my car was being repaired after an accident. Not only did I love the vehicle I was given, but from the time I received my car to even after its return, I was very happy with my experience. Austin assisted me when I was first given the car and Nicholas was more than helpful with some questions I had while closing out the account and made sure to follow up. Let me start off by saying, I will see if Enterprise will switch our rental to a car that does NOT reek of smoke, & a CLEAN Car at the least then I might consider raising my rating but only a bit. I'm currently in a 2017 Chevy Equinox, I share a car w/ my old man, we just bought a 2017 FordFusion Sport V-6, unfortunately it's w/ the Ford Dealer because they have to activate a few sensors that connect to Cruise ctrl, Collision assist etc. That shorted out & although Its drivable, when u spend $35K u want it Perfect! W/ that said, this is at least the 5th time we're in a NYACK Enterp. rental over past 2 & 1/2-3 years. And between Y2K & 2008, I myself had rented from various enterprises in NYC, rockland, westchester, Suffolk & South Florida half dozen times-at least & ALL those times that I rented I never had issues. I always received Good, clean , newish cars. Long story longer- With this Equinox, like each & every other rental from Nyack, they gave us a FILTHY car In & Out. They're literally always so dirty that u can't see well out of any window. (In the past I actually took to a car wash) The Interiors are never vacuumed, and the surfaces that you'd expect to be touching w/ your bare hands, I. E. , Steering wheel, gear shifter, door handles, etc etc, they're always so dirty and dusty & groce! Hence me grabbing some cleaning wipes, armor-all-windex, etc.& wiping it down. Lastly, what prompted me to leave this bad rating, was the fact that this Chevy Equinox is almost brand new, the registration says July-2017, its August 9, it has only eight-hundred something miles, and it honest to God STINKS OF rotten cigarette/possibly cigar smoke. And putting air conditioner on only makes it worse. I am going to try and get into another vehicle. I am reasonable, I'm not a person who "kicks & screams" I treat ppl with respect, like how I'd want to be treated. Furthermore I don't forsee why they wouldn't be more than glad to rectify the problem. As I said, if they accommodate, I will upgrade my review, NOT make it 5 stars, & glowing, but raise it up nonetheless. read more

I recently rented from the Nyack location. My car was at Route 303 Autobody for repair. Enterprise picked me up from Rt 303 and took me back to the office to fill out their paperwork. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mike and Katie. Even when I went over the time alloted for the repair it wasnt a problem. I made a few calls to them during the rental period and everyone answered my concerns with a smile on their face. I have rented from Hertz and Budget in the past but Enterprise made things so easy and stress free Its a nobrainer. Any future rentals will be Enterprise. read more
