This is about the third time that I've had to take my business elsewhere because of a BAD EXPERIENCE at this location. The customer service has been absolutely terrible and this time it involves my 70+ year old mother so I cannot abide. I have not even complained. However, now I feel responsible as a patron to share my experience. I don't mind having things not work out but the apathy an unwillingness to work and find resolution is my main concern. I am a personal and corporate member and this representative requested extra documentation that I have never had to provide. The representative made us wait for almost ten minutes before speaking and then made a few problematic assumptions about our ability to pay the deposit. His response was cold, short and lazy. Be VERY careful when renting from them. My insurance covers $35 a day for a rental, and I drive a compact car. Instead of putting me in something similar, they put me in a compact SUV with a higher daily rate. Logan's excuse was that they're very limited on rental cars because manufacturers aren't making them like they used to and that they mostly have SUVs and vans. I started off in a Hyundai Tucson, but the tire kept losing air. I called and they had me bring it back, then put me into a Ford Escape -- which costs MORE than the Tucson. Here's what really irritates me... when I exchanged the Tucson, they had 3 other Tucsons sitting on their lot. Every time I drive past this location, there are 2-3 cars sitting out front that they could have put me in. If they would have told me from the very beginning, "We don't have anything within your $35/day insurance coverage and you'll have to pay the difference," I would have gone to a different location and rented a car that was actually within my coverage. Instead, I was put into SUVs with higher rates without being properly advised that I would be responsible for the difference. Now I'm coming out of pocket $73 because of their choice of vehicle. I understand my insurance only covers $35 a day. What I don't understand is why I wasn't given the option to choose something within that amount -- especially when they clearly had other vehicles available. ASK QUESTIONS before you take the keys. Find out the daily rate and exactly what you'll be responsible for out of pocket. Don't assume they're putting you in something comparable or within your insurance coverage. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I reserved a premium full-size SUV over a month in advance because I specifically needed a large vehicle for my family's trip. The reservation clearly stated a vehicle comparable to a Ford Expedition Max, Jeep Wagoneer L, or similar. About a week before my pickup date, I received a call stating they could not guarantee the vehicle because of "multiple recalls." I asked if they could obtain a comparable SUV from another nearby location, but I was told they had been trying and that other locations were focused on fulfilling their own reservations. Wanting to verify my options, I contacted nearby locations myself. They simply explained that this is a busy time of year and that larger SUVs are in high demand. At no point did they mention recalls, which left me confused and questioning the explanation I was given. The most frustrating part is that a reservation made over a month in advance should mean the company has a reasonable plan to provide the vehicle reserved or at the very least, a comparable replacement. Instead, I was left feeling like my reservation didn't actually guarantee anything. Offering a minivan or a smaller SUV is not comparable when the reason for reserving a premium full-size SUV was the extra passenger and cargo space. If your company cannot reasonably provide the class of vehicle customers reserve, especially when reservations are made well in advance, then expectations should be communicated honestly from the beginning. A reservation should provide peace of mind, not uncertainty days before a trip. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in relying on this location for future rentals. read more

To whom it may concern: I just want to say that I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly. I have a reservation 2128495408. They have me this car smelling of smoke. I tried spraying it with febreze. I get on the highway going ftom Florida to Atlanta. The air conditioner stops working. I call customer service. She tells me to go back to Florida. Next lady I spoke to tells me to go to Perry. Perry tells me they don't have a car to swap and to try Macon. I get to Macon and they tell me go to Atlanta. I get to Atlanta and talk to customer service who tells meto try courtland or Ted Turner. Courtland says go to the airport! This is the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. No one helped or cares! Is this the service I'm paying for????!!!! I'm now sitting in a hot car at the airport trying to get some help. I rented a convertible Black Mustang in May 2026 for a work trip and it was confirmed by Enterprise. I drove to multiple locations only to be told that customer service on the phone makes reservations without checking availabilty. This makes no sense because it was CONFIRMED and not just stated to be a convertible or similiar vehicle. i was sent to 3 other locations all promising to have the vehicle and blaming it on Customer service. Customer service claimed to escalate the problem and promised to call me back but never did. After losing three hours out of my morning and heading in the opposite directions (north & west) when I needed to go South all locations were closing because it was the weekend. The last location said that not only did they not have the "confirmed vehicle" but they would have to run it as a new reservation with current pricing and not honor the confirmed price because technically each location is independent...Then they went on to tell me they were closing and that the only option was to take a Jeep Gladiator truck which I was not looking for nor comfortable driving as this was a major change from the car ordered, not easy to park, not good on gas, a wild goose chance with false promises, projection of blame. AND because all luggage had to go in the trunk it got pouring rain all over it and all my contents were soaked. It was a horrible experience, no one ever called me back or took responsibility or apologized for the broken confirmations, delay in getting to my job, lack of promised call back by management, and overall damper on my trip. Also they had my email so not sure why they couldn't get in contact with me. Like others, this branch defrauded me as well. Gave me a car with two tires with leaks in it AND it smelled horribly of smoke. It was clear as day that it hadn't been cleaned properly OR had any recent maintenance. After reporting the issue to member services it took Logan THREE BUSINESS DAYS to even reach out about the vehicle. By then, I had already driven to my destination because it's christmas and I couldn't delay our trip any longer. Member services tried their best to send my booking to another location since he was ZERO help but whenever I called those locations to drop off or exchange the vehicle they either had "no record" of my booking or were closed ‍. One of the locations offered to check for whether or not any location within 30 miles had an equivalent exchange and sadly none were available. They told us they'd reach back out when one returned. After 24 hours I called member services again and they suggested I at least get the tires patched up while we wait. I told them fine but it only resolves one issue, my only mode of transportation for my family and my 12 month old is a car that smells like someone hotboxed it for 40 days and 40 nights. After another day of waiting I asked can they just let me drop it off, I don't want the car anymore and I'm worried about my child. They say they completely understand and tell me to drop it off, the branch manager will call about a refund on monday. This is where they direct me to a CLOSED location ‍. We ended up having to drop it at a random airport after pleading with one of the attendants. I get my receipt and to my surprise I have been charged TWICE for insurance! When Logan finally calls me on Monday I explain the situation and let him know that my child is now sick with a fever and (unbeknownst to him) EVERY piece of clothing she wore in that car smells of CIGARETTES. I need everyone to understand that is NOT NORMAL. Imagine how bad the smoke inhalation had to have been for clothes that she only wore in the car for 30min MAX to smell like cigarettes DAYS LATER!!!!! Logan didn't care. Despite ample notes on my rental and the conversation that was had on the property when I first was given the car, AND the fact that I tried to return it THREE TIMES, he said I didn't do enough to justify a full refund. He said all he could do was give a complimentary refund for the double charges. That's not a refund for my experience and the quality of the car. That's a bill correction for a mistake one of YOUR employees made!!! And it was NOT what the member services team said I would be expecting. I also requested the phone records/notes of my reports and I haven't received anything. In fact, even though Logan was supposed to call me yesterday with an update/resolution I have heard nothing. Based on past experience I am not sure I will. I will never rent from such despicable and callous people again. Your phone lines claim they sanitize all cars before renting them out. LIE. They claim that they are in good condition with no defects. LIE. They claim that customer service is their number one priority. LIE. LIE. LIE. You care for nothing but the money in your pockets. You don't care about passenger safety or accommodations and you DEFINITELY do not care about their health or their kids. Don't believe me?? check the negative reviews here and on google. CAR RENTERS BEWARE. I'm very upset about renting a car from this company. I rented a full sized SUV from the west side location last month and got a van instead without calling or informing me of the substitution. 3 weeks ago a rented another full size SUV for our upcoming family trip. I called 3x before pick up date to confirm that the vehicle I rented is available. 3x I was told that it is. On the day of pick up, we waited in the lobby for more than 30 mins for the staff to find a Full Size SUV. Long story short, I was told that someone is returning a full size SUV the next day and if I can wait instead. My question is, what's the point of making a reservation and be a loyal customer if you've rented from the same company throughout the years and they can't even fulfill your reservation? read more

I give them 3 stars because the cars run. Most of them have minor damage, which they try to blame on the customer. They pestered me to buy their collision damage waiver, and I didn't. Then tried to blame minor dings and scratches on me. They backed down when I showed them the pictures of it on my phone. They try to rush me into a car without me inspecting it. WORST RENTING EXPERIENCE AFTER A CAR WRECK. My car was totaled so I had this rental from my insurance. First of all whenever I go to pick up the car everything goes smoothly the staff is helpful & I had a very helpful young lady named Antoinette help me get checked out. I decided to upgrade my rental from what my insurance paid for & she was able to get it for $3 per day extra instead of $10. After that she asked if I wanted insurance for an extra $17 on top of the $3 extra per day, & she SPECIFICALLY SAID "if you want to renew your insurance for the rental you have to call the enterprise every morning & let them know You want insurance for that day, to approve the charge & you get it day by day." That made sense to me & I agreed. No where was it mentioned that I PHYSICALLY have to come in to the store to cancel insurance because she literally said I'd have to pay DAY BY DAY. So about four days in having the rental I get a call from someone at the store (not the nice lady who helped me check out) saying that I owe over $120 for those extra days with the upgrade plus insurance for everyday. This blew my mind because I was told that I'd have to renew the insurance daily if I wanted it & I hadn't done that one time the whole time I had the car. Then on top of that they literally LIED & said they were trying to get in contact with me DAILY to get authorization for the charge of the insurance for everyday. I had NO missed calls from enterprise & on top of having my number they have my email & didn't contact me on that...but saying you tried to contact me which they didn't AT ALL until the day that they wanna charge me for the insurance. Then they have super inconvenient hours so on top of them lying saying they tried to call me everyday, they said I'd have to come in to cancel the insurance & that there was no way to do it over the phone. I shouldn't HAVE to cancel something I didn't even SAY I wanted in the first place & now I'm not able to do it over the phone ??? Are you serious. I'm a single mother who works & their hours are literally my job hours & im not able to leave. I just felt so scammed & lied to. I don't think the young lady who checked me out was trying to scam me, but the people over the phone definitely were. This is still not resolved, worst customer service I've EVER experienced from an enterprise I'm warning EVERYBODY I know to go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. All this extra stress & lies is the last thing I need on top of being injured from being in a car accident & still having to go to work. I have rented from here before and loved my experience until this time. The checkin was good and the checkput well i thought it went good until.... I returned the car on friday morning at 9:00 a guy came out and did the check everything good. I prepaid for gas which had 3/4 tank of gas and I returned it with 1/4 tank so I should have been told ok that will be adjusted but it wasnt I had ti tell him then the guy said ok no problem... well heres where it all went bad!!! I noticed last night I never received a email with receipt so I was lime ok let me call but then I received a text stating my checking account went into the red so I looked and called my bank guess what enterprise charged the full price with the deposit and the non adjustment fir gas. So I called and this is what was said to me after they had a hard time finding my reservation. I dont know why but they were trying to DO ME AFAVOR and adjust my amount for the gas and so it was not cancelled out yesturday as I was told because of that. First when they do the deposit it is held but now it is a transaction. I just jept getting told they were doing me a favor. Then I told dud if it was done yesturday lime it was supposed to be done the bank could have released for me today now i have to wait for it to get closed out and returned back and another extra two days of waiting because it was done on a non weekday. It overdrafted my business account who cN have an overdraft on their business. Then i told the guy I wont be returning he just basically said ok. Then he said Ill do what I can to help you. Here it is 10:30 an hour and half later and still no receipt. Not cool at all guys !!!!!! Well here it is Sunday and I never received a receipt called the bank and they still didn't fix my problem well their problem. I had to rent a car and Enterprise is the closest to Autocrafters. First of all my first rental car, had so many dings and a ripped seat but I did not care because at least it got me back and forth to work. Then I had to take it Firestone because the tire was low. I had to spend an hour and a half getting a tire fixed (that was not my car) when I got home someone called and asked me to bring the car back because they wanted to sell it, and they would offer me another rental. I told them not if I had to bring it back to them. The person called me back offered to bring me another car which they did and voila this car is dirty! I did call them and tell them about this but really this is not service, and it is not customer service! read more

BEWARE DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE AND NOT BUY THEIR INSURANCE. IF YOU DO, Be sure and inspect your rental on all fours when you pick it up, take pictures of the entire car inside and out, don't fall for that little dings don't matter. Because when you return it they are going to inspect the car on their hands and knees and file a claim on your insurance for any damages scraps or bumps they find on the bottom of car which are not visible when you do your pick up inspection in an upright walking position. Do not rent a car from Enterprise if you don't want to pay extra for their insurance! I've been renting from Enterprise for 10 years, and never had an issue before, but, it had been about a year, and, my goodness, have they done downhill. My husband and I got totally different stories from them when we picked up the car and when we returned the car as far as damage is concerned. Jonny was extremely condescending and couldn't even adequately answer my basic questions. They must be struggling with revenue, because I've never had them try to hard sell me their insurance waiver like they did this time. When we returned it, I found out why. I didn't take pictures of the car the day we picked it up, because it was pouring rain, because the agent who gave it to us told us that the scratches on it were smaller than what they consider to be "damage", and because I've never had an issue with Enterprise prior to that and expected decent customer service from them. I sure learned my lesson. All of a sudden, when we brought the car back, those scratches were now considered damage. But since I hadn't taken pictures beforehand, I had no way to prove that we didn't cause them. Sad, shady way to do business. I will never rent a car from this Enterprise location, or any other Enterprise location, again. There are 11 other rental car companies in the Jacksonville area. I absolutely love this Enterprise! I have been using Enterprise forever and with them I always get the best rates, I can always find a great promotion. The staff here has been awesome and they work hard to accommodate any type of vehicle I need, when I need it. The vehicles are always clean, I can reach them in case of any emergency.
