The service was impeccable. The owner was friendly and provided great service. Instead of renting and stopping by the beach for an hour or two instead we pretty much drove the slingshot the entire time. We drove up the A1A from St. Augustine to Jacksonville then drove back down 95. It was the most amazing experience. Needless to say, I will be renting from heat again. The slingshot was clean and the handling was amazing. We picked the manual one because hey driving manual are more fun. The performance on the slingshot was top notch. I may end pitching my own. In the meantime this will be my place to rent from. I couldn't have asked for better service!

He was welcoming from the first phone call. Made processing the appointment and finalizing details of breeze. Upon pick up we were attended to quickly. And as even the lines grew everybody was placed in importance and taken care of efficiently. The drive itself is something you have to experience. It was truly amazing, and unlike anything you've driven before. Whether it be a car truck jeep van motorcycle four wheeler snowmobile, this is in a niche all its own! Matt pulled the rabbit out of his hat! Our adventure was as follows... We had scheduled Jax Elite Charters to pick us up at 5 pm on Thursday to drive us up to Brunswick GA.. Weather intervened and we had to leave the next day... so we scheduled to get picked up at 5 pm on Friday... Well we arrived at the Airport at 5:30 am to leave and the rescheduled ticket in the computer for was not for March 8th but November 8th... Well there were no seats available anywhere because of spring break and the bad weather... so we had to reschedule with Jax Elite Charters again as we were now not arriving now until 11 pm on Friday after a zig zag excursion across the country ... so we called again and Matt worked out a couple of options for us. Ultimately he personally drove us up to Brunswick on Saturday before he went forward with his full day in Jacksonville. I work in the entertainment industry and have worked with hundred of car services around the world. I do not know if I will ever be back to Jacksonville but I guarantee you I will not delete Jax Elite Charters number out of my phone. It was very easy to get to the location once you turn into the street! It was affordable and fun; our instructor Daniel was very informative and easy going! I felt at ease during the whole flight! He was professional and calm which I always appreciate when learning new things because it can be stressful when you know your life is on the line ! You come in ten minutes before your lesson, sign a waiver, fly and if you have any payment left due you should pay at the end, we paid in full through the website. The Amtrak station wasn't crowded; it was clean and the staff was very pleasant. There seems to have been some renovations going on at the station, which is good. It was an easy process to check our luggage and just wait on the train, which was delayed a bit. Of note, there were delays throughout the trip. Not one time was any of the trains ever on time. There were multiple stops along the way to pick up travelers and to drop off travelers at various stations. But we always made the next connection. This was our first train ride of this kind. Both my husband and I wanted the experience of an overnight train ride. We traveled from Jacksonville to New York City (overnight), then caught another train (9-hour ride; Coach seats very comfortable; very ample leg room) from New York City to Niagara Falls, then took a taxi across the border to the Canadian side. Though we paid for a "first class" experience, the accommodations were definitely not "first class." Definitely need an upgrade in terms of the rooms. Still, the experience of traveling and not having to deal with anything near the stress of catching a flight was just very satisfying. We purchased the bedroom and the space was very tight, but it was private and peaceful. Enjoying the scenery along the way was awesome. The meals were good and the service we received was top notch. With the meals, we had the option of eating in the dining room, or having our meals brought to our room. We exercised both options throughout the trip. Note, there is a "cafe" on board the train as well for those who were riding coach and for anyone who wanted to purchase food in between meals. On our return trip back, we had a bit of a layover in NY so we were able to enjoy the lounge (complimentary food, spacious seating area). The staff at the station in NY City train station were simply amazing; so very helpful and with great attitudes - considering the hustle and bustle!

While we are familiar with the city, it was really interesting to have the context of history to frame our knowledge. We arrived 15 minutes before our tour, and our guide Toni was waiting for us. The tuktuk was ready with a cooler filled with champagne, sangria and water (that we ordered as add-ons to our tour). She gave us a set of headphones and a speaker we could wear around our necks, so we could hear her narration clearly over the traffic. Our two hour tour was chock full of sights and sites! Toni was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. We had plenty of opportunities to comments, ask questions, and even get out of the vehicle to take photos or admire certain locations. We cannot WAIT to take another tour (or three!) Highly recommend - this is a fun date for couples, families, or friends!
