    I am writing to express my outrage over the treatment we received at your Jacksonville location…read more(4307 7 Blanding Blvd) from manager Josh Davis. We had a reservation for 10:00 AM, but due to our child with autism having a difficult morning, we were unable to arrive on time. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, Mr. Davis was rude, disrespectful, and humiliating, treating us poorly in front of my child. His behavior was completely unacceptable and falls far below the customer service standards I expect from Enterprise. We had rented vehicles from Enterprise for years and our reservations are always honored for 24 hours. We have never experienced any issues with this policy until this visit when we encounter Mr. Davis who apparently is new to the location as we rented multiple time here with no issues like this before. Additionally, Mr. Davis argued with us, talking over my wife and myself --demonstrating behavior that was both unprofessional and appalling. This manager immediately turns aggressive and frustrated when we tried to communicate our concerns. Proudly he announces to us that he is the manager and that he can asked us to leave the location because he just don't want to deal with our questions and request for common sense assistance from him. We asked for a brief moment to review our finances, as he was attempting to charge us significantly more for a new reservation and to upgrade us into a more expensive vehicle to pick up our children at the Orlando airport. Rather than assisting or listen to us he demanded that we leave the building immediately when we refuse to pay extra for the vehicle, he wanted us to rent, claiming it was 1:00 PM and he doesn't need to help us after that time. This left us in an extremely difficult situation, without a vehicle, struggling to meet our children at the airport. My 9-year-old daughter became uncontrollably upset and frightened by Mr. Davis's yelling and behavior toward my husband and me. This experience has been demeaning, stressful, and entirely avoidable. As a result, we are immediately canceling our personal and corporate rental reservations with all Enterprise locations. The lack of professionalism and basic human decency displayed by Mr. Davis is unacceptable. This gentleman treats us like we do not know anything about car rentals and was not even looking to assist us in any possible way other than forcing us to upgrade and pay much more or to leave the location as per his request. I request immediate corrective action to ensure that no other family is treated in this manner. I also suggest gathering statements from all employees working at this location to fully understand this incident as I won't want a manager like that in my company as a district manager. The two other enterprise employees present at the counter during the incident look extremely in shock and truly ashamed of this manager aggressive tone of voice and stand. We do communicate the incident to all Enterprise customer services levels including the CEO. Because a person of this low level of professionalism and respect should not be working with customers at any level in our Jacksonville area. We had been from plus to platinum customers with Enterprise for years and never before we had been treated so poorly and disrespectfully. FYI We drive to Budget car rental down the road and were able to rent the vehicle we needed at a lower price with a last-minute reservation and that staff at Budget was very respectful and responsive even when the associate was working alone at the location.     I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I reserved a premium full-size SUV over a month in…read moreadvance because I specifically needed a large vehicle for my family's trip. The reservation clearly stated a vehicle comparable to a Ford Expedition Max, Jeep Wagoneer L, or similar. About a week before my pickup date, I received a call stating they could not guarantee the vehicle because of "multiple recalls." I asked if they could obtain a comparable SUV from another nearby location, but I was told they had been trying and that other locations were focused on fulfilling their own reservations. Wanting to verify my options, I contacted nearby locations myself. They simply explained that this is a busy time of year and that larger SUVs are in high demand. At no point did they mention recalls, which left me confused and questioning the explanation I was given. The most frustrating part is that a reservation made over a month in advance should mean the company has a reasonable plan to provide the vehicle reserved or at the very least, a comparable replacement. Instead, I was left feeling like my reservation didn't actually guarantee anything. Offering a minivan or a smaller SUV is not comparable when the reason for reserving a premium full-size SUV was the extra passenger and cargo space. If your company cannot reasonably provide the class of vehicle customers reserve, especially when reservations are made well in advance, then expectations should be communicated honestly from the beginning. A reservation should provide peace of mind, not uncertainty days before a trip. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in relying on this location for future rentals.

After two years of consistently renting from them due to…read moretheir convenient location, I can say with absolute certainty: Hertz is a terrible company with abysmal customer service. Every rental has been a disaster. One time, they rented me an electric car without making it clear in the booking or at pick-up that it needed at least EIGHT HOURS to charge. The car had less than 200 miles of range, and finding a charging station turned into a nightmare, wasting half my trip. Hotels with chargers? Good luck with their two spots, always occupied. Expect malfunctioning cigarette ports and USB outlets, rendering any plans for using a cooler or charging your phone useless. Often, the car I reserved isn't available when I arrive, and once, their listed address was incorrect, leading to a wild goose chase in heavy traffic. Calling customer service? Prepare for a 25-40 minute wait, all while enduring the most aggravating 30-second loop of music. By the time you reach a representative, you're already at your wit's end. Speaking of representatives, when I finally reached Jumaine, employee #2323, he was as helpful as a brick wall, parroting, "sorry sir, but unfortunately that's our policy." After all these issues, they issued me a certificate which expired after just FOUR MONTHS, with the expiration date buried in fine print. Do yourself a favor and rent from Sixt. I'd even prefer Dollar Rental over Hertz. Their customer service couldn't be worse.
