The associate I dealt with was Awesome, I believe he might have been an assistant manager. The minivan was in good working order, (Mechanically) speaking, no complaints there. The inside however was (NOT) in good working order as far as cleanliness. I immediately drove it to the car wash to give it a wash and a good vacuum that was badly needed. The minivan had an obnoxious funk smell, there was no way I was driving for hours with it stinking like this. As soon as I got home and gave it a good look, I realized there was what looked like juice and milk, spilled on several of the seats and the floor in the back seat area. Not wanting my family to drive in a nasty/funky minivan, I went ahead and detailed the van myself for the next two hours. I wiped down, disinfecting and cleaned all the seats, stirring wheel, dashboard and anything else I could see. After a thorough wipe down of everything, vacuuming cereal, French fries and god knows what else, spraying with carpet spray on what Im thinking was milk, I was able to knock down the smell quite a bit. My white cleaning Towels were all black, the vacuum was full, job was done. When I rented the minivan, I didn't anticipate needing to come home and give it, what was probably the best detailing its had since its been in service. (You're welcome Enterprise) I needed that time to pack the van and get it organized, not clean it. I would (highly) recommend you take a real good look into your cleaning/detailing department, and do some quality control please.

There is a large difference between working to make a living, and working to serve others. The latter would describe the ethic exhibited by Sierra K. who helped me when I picked up the car and when I dropped it off. We've all dealt with people who were part of the management team at a business, and quickly realized they didn't belong in management. This doesn't apply to Sierra. She exemplifies what it means to effectively manage her location and the tricky customer flow that comes with working directly inside a car dealership location. I was having the worst of the worst experiences at another near-by dealership yesterday (not where this Enterprise is located.) I brought my vehicle in at 740am, and got horrible customer service there. No updates on my car - then vague updates - then at 4pm I finally find out that my car will be there overnight. I was fit to be tied. Then the dealership told me "I" would have to rent a car myself, and took me in their courtesy vehicle and dropped me at this Enterprise. Do you think that I was a happy camper walking in there? From the moment Sierra engaged me in the customer experience, I was at ease. They were having just as challenging a day. Dealerships were just "dumping" customers there without calling to see if they had cars left. And in fact, they had none. Sierra was already sending workers out in pairs to fetch more cars from near-by locations. She kept me updated, she could see that I had a splitting headache, and made sure I was out of there in about 30 minutes. I had a clean/functional vehicle with no problems. Today when I returned the vehicle, Sierra had me checked in and out the door in less than 10 minutes. I don't think I've ever gotten out of a rental place that quick. More importantly, she was kind and courteous. She even took the time to explain to me the best way to obtain a rental from them in the future. ALL in 10 minutes. I remember thinking about that later..."Dang, she was a good future customer-relationship builder." One of her employees, Marvin, gave me a ride the two blocks away to the dealership where my car was finally waiting for me. He was really kind as well. I know not every car rental experience will be a joy for me in the future. But if I have the need to rent a car again? I'll try to get over to see Sierra and her team at this Enterprise location. That will ENSURE I have a good customer experience. There may be other car rental places closer to my home, but this Enterprise is only four miles from me anyway. Thank you Sierra and Enterprise for being a bright spot in a challenging 24 hour period.

At the end of the conversation I questioned why the amount was nearly $500 more than the agreed upon amount. He stated it was a Security Deposit and it would be refunded upon returning the car. 3 days after returning the car the FULL amount was charged to my card. When I called Budget they stated the additional fees were related to adding the additional insurance coverage on the car! They are not willing to adjust the price of the what I was told was a security Deposit because I "accepted the additional insurance". I was LIED to when I specifically asked. I've put in calls to speak to a manage and of course no one will call me back!!! I've always used Budget and have never had issues before. Now I was completely deceived!

    So many issues here…read more One - the lady at the desk was SO sneaky. She tried to "upsell us" on an insurance package and we declined so she said "Okay I'll just give you basic". And then asked us to sign a receipt without explaining the cost. My husband was about to sign for $450 before I stopped him and told her we had already pre-paid. She said oh that's for your insurance. I travel enough to know my insurance works just fine for my rentals, and she basically fought us on it. I'm not paying $450 EXTRA after I already paid for the car rental and she was hoping we just wouldn't notice. On top of that she told us we COULDN'T take a compact car into Sedona....... I promise you I've done it before and you absolutely can. She tried to charge us ANOTHER $500 to upgrade to a JEEP because "that's the best car for Sedona". She was relentless. It was painful and embarrassing for her. Fast forward, we drop the car off in PHOENIX and a few days later my husband gets a second charge for $490! We call and Hertz claims that we dropped the car off in MINNEAPOLIS?! We didn't even put enough miles on the car to possibly drop it off in Minneapolis. THANK GOD I took photos of the car at drop off with a tagged location and date so we could fight them on it. They just told us we'd get refunded but if they don't I will absolutely be updating this review. I cannot believe how bad this experience was. We will never use Hertz again.

They came over in a timely manner and drove us safely over to pick up our own car rentals for the day. When I arrived at the counter to pick up my vehicle, the employee quickly got my vehicle prepared, answered any questions, and then brought me out to the vehicle to walk me through anything I needed to know and ensured that I walked around the vehicle to note anything out of the ordinary. I was told that I could return my vehicle to them directly or right to Bell Honda for them to pick up later if that was more convenient. When I returned my vehicle, I did bring it to Enterprise, but there was a long line, so I eventually brought it back to Bell Honda. I did witness the Enterprise employee try to help an older man out by getting him exactly what he wanted even though he may need to wait a little while for the vehicle he wanted to arrive (later that day) from another Enterprise location. I was impressed with the positive customer service at Enterprise. During a typical week, this location is open on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM. While they have pick-up service available, they do not currently have after-hours returns available.
