Though I've used the local Prescott Enterprise Rent a Car many times over the past decade plus I never wrote a review. We need transport to and from Phoenix airport several times a year and have used private parties the least cal shuttle companies and we hadn't considered renting a car and driving ourselves. We finally. I'd and are so great full. We arrived late on our flight that is at 1:00am. And grabbed the bags went straight to enterprise from the sky tram at PHX. Picked up the car drove home then topped the rental off with fuel and dropped it off. The staff here in Prescott were very helpful professional friendly and fast. Within a couple minutes was on my way. Cost for an suv it was 129 plus 20 gas so 150. Where door to door with the shuttle is 110 but you have to wait at the airport and after you get to Prescott to go home. In the past it has taken three and half hours!!!! This is the way for Twitter mor more people. And highly recommend it. read more

Was really impressed when I picked up my rental over a week ago with how professional, courteous, and knowledgeable the guys in the officer were getting me set up. But it's because of Shalimar that I'm writing this review. She really went above & beyond with assisting me. My insurance company dropped the ball bigtime, for an accident I was the victim of! I've been with that company for many years and they make lofty claims about how much they value their customers, but both this accident claim & a few other recent things has shown that to be empty words on their part. But I digress. Shalimar made sure to pursue this despite getting the run around (just as I have got and seem now to always get with my insurance company) and successfully rectified the situation on my behalf. I am very impressed & grateful that there are still other people out there who take pride in their work and seek to do it to the best of their ability. Update, I see that Chris at Enterprise would like me to contact them however that is an incomplete, non functioning link. We had an appointment and arrived about 5 minutes early. There were several people ahead of us who had earlier appointments but who had not yet been given a vehicle. One woman was an hour and a half past her scheduled time. Our rental was being paid for by the insurance company. I had advised Enterprise specifically that I didn't want any add ons. I would take whatever car the insurance company authorized. An hour after our appointment they called us outside to get our car. We were supposed to get an economy car. In front of us was a mid-sized car. The guy says it will be an additional $14 per day for this, just sign here. I refused and told him that I had already said that we wanted only what the insurance would pay for. He walked away in a huff and came back with the Keys to a Kia Forte opened it and said "It's dirty, we have no one to detail it. I can give you this if you'll take it". We took it. Here are my issues: If you set an appointment either keep the appointment or contact the customer to try to arrange a different time if necessary. If you have three people manning the desk and you have no one to detail cars, pull one of those employees to detail cars. Listen to the customer when they tell you that they don't want any up charges. Don't get huffy when the customer reminds you that they don't want any up charges. For those still reading, go to Avis at the same mall. Great service and clean cars. read more

Post partum wife needed me to pick up a car here as my Porsche had a flat, for us to get back home with our newborn. The manager refused to accept cards which have always been accepted, and then claimed I was making them uncomfortable by asking why in 2024 they don't have a car tracking system so customers don't get something worse than they expected. Questions like these are apparently too much, even when they knew my wife's situation. Heartless and I will be reporting them to the highest levels of this Family Owned Business. read more

Brief Overview, do not rent your car from them. So I got a rental car from them through insurance and on the way driving it, the car kept wanting to drift to the left the entire drive. I switched the car out with a different location. Now without alert they charged my account for a bunch of stuff. Had the car from them for 4 days. I do not rent vehicles too often, but after renting and then getting involved into a hit and run in Phoenix I ran into major issues swapping the rental out with the Scottsdale locations close to where I was. No location was willing to help me because they stated it would take away from a new customer. Funny thing was, I was a customer! I ended reaching out to the original location I rented from which was in Prescott. Shalimar was a gal that helped me and was amazing. To bad not all locations were as good and as valuable as she is. I had my car serviced under warrantee, twice, at York Dodge, and my warrantee covers car rental. They use ENTERPRISE Rent a Car. The first time I picked up the rental car, Shalamar and Josh had been there. They are AMAZINGLY GREAT with people. They care ALWAYS, and they are professional and friendly and efficient. If there is a wait time (like a long line because of demand) they both work as team to keep the crowd HAPPY, laughing...and welcomed. The cars are super clean and smell clean. They have run perfectly. The last car was a Dodge Charger, so you know that was fun (more fun than a diesel truck - THAT'S FOR SURE)! They inspect the car. They make sure everything is ready go. I returned the car yesterday, 5-19-23 right before a lightening/hail storm! As I was waiting in the office all heck broke loose with the weather. One of their employees, Elijah, drove me to pick up my car. Weather was crazy. I mentioned drive slow and be careful!! He certainly did! Visibility was limited and lightening and thunder all around while cars were zipping by us! Elijah, continued to just let the cars pass. We had a wonderful conversation and he got me to my location safely! He said he had been with this local office for a couple off years, and finishing grad school. What a nice young man! Our Corporate travel made reservations for a car same day for a 4 day rental. Received a call from Enterprise indicating I would be on a call list because it was not far enough in advance for their fleet. Got stuck with a clown car from Enterprise when I needed transportation while my car was being repaired. Paid some money up front and walked out of the repair shop to a a crappy little Nissan Sentra. It is basically a styrofoam cup on wheels. It squeals,grinds and grates on the roads. They called today after 10 days and demanded more money. They never advised of this policy. Even though my copay is low, they charged me for additional 20 days! They are garbage, their vehicles are garbage, their customer service is garbage. With so many car rental choices avoid Enterprise and it's collection of junkers. read more

A word of WARNING DO NOT rent a vehicle from Prescott Enterprise. They totally scammed us regarding a windshield that they claim was damaged while being driven by us. After the vehicle was returned and checked in we received a call claiming the windshield was damaged and they didn't notice it until it went through the wash. We went back to take pictures of the damaged and it was obvious that the windshield was damaged prior to our renting the vehicle. The crack in the windshield was starting to "spider web" from the original location which is a clear indication that this was old damaged. The vehicle had paint chips and other damage ALL OVER the vehicle. Renter BEWARE!!! I have filed a complaint with YELP, BBB, 3 On Your Side and Enterprise. read more

I have rented cars from this location MANY times in the past two years since moving to Prescott from California. They were always pretty great until this last rental. We returned the car at 6:00pm on a Saturday and they charged us TWO EXTRA DAYS!!!! This has NEVER been an issue in the past, we came home from our Christmas vacation early to assure we returned the car on Saturday, yet we still got charged 2 days extra!!! I was happy with the information I received when I rented the car from Hawaii! I was happy with knowing I was getting a good rate through Costco Travel & I was even happier knowing if I returned the car early that I would get money back for the days not used. However that DIDN'T happen. The manager said to receive money back I would've needed to return it earlier & then the rates would have been recalculated to a different rate and still wouldn't have got money back. He said the fact I didn't keep it costs them money. (So by keeping it 9 days that I didn't need it saved them money, by however that works....) But he could give me a discount on a future rental. I was told by his employee if I brought it back earlier I would get money back at the start and when I returned it today... NOPE I WAS WRONG FOR TAKING IT BACK!! The manager stated I was told that I saved $500 by using Costco Travel and there was nothing he could do once it was closed out. I left the business today knowing I'd get money back and was told so at the time...... NOPE....... DIDN'T HAPPEN. I thought I'd get at least $100 back, after all I was charged $1,107.60 from 12/23/2020 to 1-20-2021 and took it back on 1-11-2021. You do the math..... $39.55 /day x 9 = $356.01 refund. The manager offered ONLY a discount on a future rental........go figure. Don't look for me to return, I'LL PAY MORE FOR HONESTY!! YOU'LL GET MONEY BACK IF YOU BRING IT BACK EARLY...... NOT AT ENTERPRISE!! Problem solved after talking to regional manager, refund receipt!! Thanks!!!! Much happier now!!! read more

This was the easiest car rental experience I've ever had- both picking up and dropping off, and not for lack of customers- they were busy with several customers in the office each time I was there, but had an excellent staff that helped everyone quickly, efficiently, and were very friendly and pleasant. I am completely satisfied with the experience I had here! I was given a ride by John to pick up my car from the auto body shop, and he was extremely professional, courteous, and took his service to the next level- I had two kiddos, car seats and all kinds of stuff to transfer over to my car. He helped me every step of the way.
