The curly hair lady at the desk is very rude and has a terrible attitude. She doesn't seem to treat customers with respect. She was not kind to us and kept insisting our corporate airline reservation had no card on file, even though we rent cars with work on a weekly basis. She treated my captain with disrespect in front of our passengers and then argued with our travel assistant on the phone. Then she called her manager, came back and said she was wrong. It's ok to be wrong but learn how to be nice and humble and apologize when it's due. read more

If I could give this location less than 1 star I would. My car had to go to the shop for a repair, I reserved a car over the phone, was given a price. I was never told there was a $400 deposit and higher tax rate for using the air port location. I was recommended to go to their other location in Punta Gorda-will get to that office in a minute. I asked if they could call to see if they had any economy cars available-was told they didn't have the number. They were not willing to work with us at all. we ended up at the other Punta Gorda location, they had no economy cars, however they did give me a small SUV for the same cost as an economy. we were in and out the door with the car in about 15 minutes. Every other ticket counter was open: Budget, Payless, Avis, Hertz.... we were told that Enterprise doesn't open till 4am. We are not happy at all!! Take care of your customers. The review below is my response to an email I received the day we rented asking if we were satisfied with it rental experience. The only way it doesn't get 0 stars is I can't post a zero. Are we completely satisfied? No. Are we even partially satisfied? No. This was one of the first experiences we've ever had while obtaining ground transportation on a trip. Below is why. We reserved a sedan for a week's stay in SW Florida and were offered a discount for a convertible upgrade and since we were traveling on my birthday, my wife encouraged me so we agreed to rent a Mustang convertible. We were warned by Peter, the manager, to make sure the car didn't smell like smoke as we would be charged for it. We did this and there was a smokey smell so I returned to the office to exchange it. Peter did this and as we packed our luggage into the car, my wife thought the tires on the driver side looked low.  They looked similar to me but when I started the car, the instrument panel that came up was one indicating tire pressure and that pressure registered that the driver side pressure for both front and rear tires was about 8 pounds too little on each tire. I decided to drive the vehicle to the return area where I assumed we'd get the tires aired up and be on our way. One of your representatives stated that we should trade this car in since there could be a nail in the tires. He told us to wait in the car and they would bring us car #3. We waited nearly 30 minutes with no one coming out with a different car for us, so I called them and spoke with a representative from the Fort Myers who takes roll over calls. She started they were probably helping customers and that's how the call was rolled over to Fort Myers. I hung up and went inside expecting to see a room full of customers but instead found that it was empty so apparently, Punta Gorda decided to not answer phones. The person that told us to wait was no where to be seen, so I talked to Peter again.  He exchanged the car #2 for car #3 and told me which spot it was in in the lot. However the spot he told me contained a Toyota SUV, so back into the office I went. He (Peter) had a young woman associate drive this car around to the back to exchange it out. This car was, to put it mildly, a piece of crap. It had rust, dents, paint from collision and broken parts on it. We transferred our luggage again and decided to check the tire pressure and found that all four tired were low. We were skeptical of even wanting to drive a car that was in such terrible condition. Back in again to exchange for a fourth car. I told Peter that I no longer wanted the upgrade, just give me the sedan we had reserved. He started that process, then offered me a Cadillac SUV.  I assumed it was an Escalade, so I agreed. Peter was about to finish when I asked him what the vehicle was and he stated it was an XT5. That is NOT an SUV and it is a car that we currently drive at home! By now, I've spent over two hours at the airport attempting to rent a car and just want to get off the premises. My wife was extremely upset as she had birthday plans for me and this wasn't helping that cause. So to answer the title of your email, I am not satisfied and have probably done our last business with Enterprise. read more

There was a woman named Tiffany who helped us and she was lovely! Very helpful and polite. She gave us a nicer car within our grade without being asked! Then there was Coleen... she budged into our conversation and after my mom declined the fill up option she repeatedly told us how much the gas price was and even said "it's not that much money," as if my mom was being cheap about it.. my mom rents from enterprise all the time and understands the fill up options and just didn't want it. She didn't want to bring back a half filled tank and have to pay for a full tank! We thought Coleen was extremely rude. The only reason this review has 4 starts is because of Tiffany! Incompetent. Rented a car same day, which was booked/confirmed. Showed up and was told they didn't have any cars for same day reseverations. Manager demarcus should never be permitted to work in a role where he makes decisions. Better off renting a bicycle. read more

I arrived at the Punta Gorda airport Enterprise with a pre-paid reservation. They stated I owed taxes of around $130. The said they didn't accept cash. So I gave them a Credit Card. They ran it through a website called BIN LIST and said they couldn't use this card because BIN LIST said it was a pre-paid card, like you buy at Walmart. I called the Credit Card company and asked them to assure Enterprise that it was a Credit Card, not a pre-paid card. The Enterprise manager refused to accept this information, cancelled my rental reservation and told me I was black balled from ever renting from them. Huh?? I went to Budget rental and used my Credit Card to pay the rental and lived happily ever after. read more

Car was basically clean, but had spots on the back seat from something. Mechanically the car was in good shape and was very good on gas. Picked it up full and used it for two weeks and never put gas in it. When our flight came in it seemed that everyone on it rented from Enterprise. It took at least an hour and a half to get car, wasn't happy. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car service at the Punta Gorda was exceptional. I mistakenly booked my Enterprise vehicle to pick my mother and I up at the Fort Myers Airport. I spoke with the station manager, Tina Powers, about my situation and she went above and beyond to get me a vehicle. Not only did she get me a vehicle, but she called Enterprise at Fort Myers and cancelled my vehicle at that location for me. The vehicle we were given was clean and the car was in good condition. Quick pick up. Friendly helpful. Very happy. No issues. Great car. Have used Enterprise at this airport many times with no problems.

The counter reps were fast, friendly providing us a great welcome to Florida. They drew a map showing us where the car was. At the car another associate showed us how the push button start worked and how to put down the top and bring it back up. The vehicle was pristine clean. When we dropped off the convertible , they quickly printed our receipt and verified it was ok. Then wished us a safe trip back home. Great team work at Punta Gorda! read more
