I came to rent a car and wanted to add my sister as a driver. We always rent together, and she uses an American passport and an international drivers license because she lives abroad. Not only did they not agree to rent to her, they walked away with her documentations to a back office and disappeared for a very long time. It is not OK to take people's legal documents!When I asked for the manager to come out of the back office, the woman who was helping us said that she was the manager. She went in the back to get a verification from someone else; that person should've come to the front. Taking a person's passport away, is unsettling to say the least. When I mentioned it to the woman who had the passport and driver's license,she says "there's cameras everywhere." Well I could've rented the car alone. I needed the other driver. Well, this may have been the issue with this particular location, I will never rent from Enterprise again I went to another company. read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Glenwood Avenue location. 5 stars across the board. After experiencing a fender bender here in the great south with wildlife amongst us, AAA Insurance scheduled me for a Priority Pass Appointment on a Monday morning. I was initially scheduled for a pick up from John's collision office but the owner knew how busy enterprise was and decided to drive me and another customer over. Susan assisted me and reviewed what models were in stock. I initially requested a Nissan Sentra or Dodge Charger Sedan. I also confirmed with her that I wanted to stay within my policy's daily allowance. She showed me a 2023 Mazda CX5. I found the vehicle too large for my needs and asked to see other options. I decided on a electric blue 2021 Ford Ecosport Compact SUV. I love a fuel efficient vehicle, so this was perfect for my needs. The car smelled new, did not have cigarette odor and the interior was spotless. I enjoyed the keyless entry, Automatic engine shut off, cap free gas tank, comfortable stain free seats, amazing fuel economy where $30 fills up the tank. The collision shop originally promised the repair would be only a few days but I had the car for over a week's time. I am not a fan of FORD but I really enjoyed the EcoSport. When it came time to return the vehicle Josh was wonderful and assisted me with the return. Caesar drove me back over to John's Collision and I was on the road again. The customer service at Enterprise is unmatched. I will definitely return for my rental car needs. Prices are affordable and the selection of vehicles was spot on for me. read more

We made a reservation for a car for pickup at noon and walked in and was informed that they didn't have any vehicles available. Was told that we would get a phone call by 1pm that day. It's 18 hours later and no phone call. "We may have cars being returned later today" is all that they kept saying. read more

A reservation was made for a vehicle. We were scheduled to arrive around 10 am. The airlines had different plans for us. We arrived at the car rental location approximately 5 hours later. Kaylee & Austin were so friendly, sympathetic & patient. We were given different options of vehicles that were available. They worked with us & gave us a great price for our rental. Enterprise truck rental! Awesome ! I rented a 15 ft truck drove about 300 miles truck was Great! Easy to drive. The representative who first dealt with was extremely nice she waited for me I showed up right at closing. Fast service. When I returned the truck it was pouring out the man walked me out to my car with the few things I had from the truck so nice of him. Check out was quick and easy. My only problem was the truck did not have a plug or USB for me to charge my phone. read more

I'm not sure about the rest of the Enterprise locations, but THIS LOCATION is one of my best customer service experiences with car rentals ever. I'm in the business of events and media which means I travel a lot. I wasn't even traveling this time but needed a rental car quickly. From the beginning phone call to me being picked up.. to me dropping the car off- every person in the office was just fantastic. These were all younger people who were trained well and had a desire to to exceed my expectations. I cannot day enough. These folks are good humans trained by a real LEADER. I don't have enough words to say about them, but what I can say to you- if you need a car.. GO HERE. They will treat you well and they care. read more

I've a long rental with enterprise (a year) and their service has been good. About the cars, not so enticing. Out of the 8-9 cars we've rented and exchanged, more than 50% of the fleets reeks cigarette smell although it says NO SMOKING and some of the condition of the car was bad. Seats were dirty, carpets torn and the performance was under par. Don't get me wrong, the Glenwood branch has fantastic employees working there, its just the fleets they have are under par and badly maintained. This is not only from me but most of my colleagues who are on assignment as well. read more

I reserved a minivan a week in advance from the Enterprise office on Glenwood Ave. I needed a 7 seater because I was traveling with 2 wheelchairs. I called the morning of the trip only to be told by a man named Corey or Tory (not sure) that they didn't have my car. He claimed they had been trying to call me but the number wasn't working. This was suspect because I checked he had the correct number, which he did, and I had received no incoming calls from them, no voicemail messages, no texts and no emails since they also had my email address. I believe this was a lie to cover their mistake that they had neglected to contact me about it. He offered me another type of car which would have been very difficult for me to use, but not impossible. I asked him to hold the reservation while I checked other places for the 7 seater. While I was trying to make other arrangements (and still well within my reservation time window) Corey called me back and asked if I was going to take the car or not. Amazingly my phone number worked perfectly this time confirming that they had been lying to me previously. I didn't want to work with an agent like this so I told him I didn't want the offered alternative vehicle and I would make other arrangements. Then Corey hung up on me without saying anything, not even acknowledging my conversation. I was completely polite throughout the whole interaction and gave him no call to treat me so rudely and unprofessionally. I'm sure this agent doesn't represent the whole company but he certainly is a bad reflection on it. read more

This review is long over due. We were victims of Hurricane Florence. There were no trucks to be found in our area that were reasonable so we decided to look further out. (We also had a friend in Raleigh that was going to help). I worked with Kevin and he was AMAZING! What started off as a 3 day rental turned into a week long rental. Kevin worked with us to give us the best possible price for both the truck rental and the per mile charge. Hope I don't ever need to rent a truck again, but if I do, will definitely rent from him. I tried the 'you click we pick' offer and was given a clean Toyota Camry. I had to return early due to a family emergency and everything was smooth. I was grateful for the airport drop off because I believe they are not supposed to do that due to their other location in the airport. I left my sunglasses in the vehicle and the fine gentleman brought them to me in the airport terminal. I will definitely use them again. read more

I needed a rental when my car was in the shop. Insurance paid a set amount for the rental. Agent there asked if I wanted an upgrade for additional amount but I declined. When she brought me to the rental, it was the upgrade anyway since they did not have any standard cars. Did not have to pay anything extra. Felt like she was dishonest trying to get me to pay the extra amount when she was going to give me the upgrade anyway. Oh yeah and the vehicle was on Empty too. read more

I rented an intermediate sized car for a work trip and called in the morning to make sure there would be a car that day. I was told that they would be able to get me one by 4 PM that day so I made my reservation for 5 PM, giving them a little extra time. I got a call at 5 PM from them saying that they weren't able to get an intermediate car yet but that they had two minivans and that they would upgrade me for free and waive the gas. I said ok--better to have a bigger car than a smaller car right? Well, when I got there 30 minutes later they didn't have any minivans and the ONLY car they had for me was a Nissan Versa, the most basic compact car possible. They didn't even mention the downgrade to me until I was all checked in and they showed me to the car. It was right at 6 PM then when they close and I needed the car for my trip the next day. I think they were hoping that I wouldn't notice the size and failed to address the downgrade until I mentioned it. Their response was that they would only charge me for the compact size car, but it was for work so the price didn't matter to me-I just wanted a comfortable safe car. I sucked it up and drove the car 4 hours and it shook when I went over 70 MPH and there were scratches all over the driver side window. When I returned the car the next day I overheard two other people in the waiting area saying that the same thing happened to them. The employees at this location are nice and they picked me up, however they need to work on making sure their customers get the car they reserved. read more
