Not only are they incredibly unprofessional, unproductive, lazy, and incompetent, but absolutely disrespectful as well as not even being able to look you in the eye!!! One of the first things I noticed was that the first person who "helped" me, couldn't even look me in the eye. Huge red flag and makes me immediately start to feel like they are shady. Great location, awesome employees, nice selection of vehicles! We originally made our reservation for a large passenger van through Costco Travel. Enterprise had the size vehicle we were looking for and making a reservation was very easy. On the day of our pickup, we showed up at the location and happened to see a snazzy Mercedes Sprinter van in the pickup area. One of our drivers commented that this could be our vehicle, since it was in the pick up area. We joked that he should pray about it, since the Sprinter was supposedly his dream car. :) Turns out our designated car was a Ford Transit, which was decent but not quite as fancy as the Sprinter. Our friendly and helpful Enterprise employees were very flexible and allowed us to check out both vans. Though the Sprinter was part of their exotic vehicle line and at a considerably higher rate, we decided to go for it. Our 2 weeks with the Sprinter were terrific! The diesel vehicle had great mileage and we even got special treatment at SFO when the cops thought we were there to pick up a Filipino Boy Band in our superfly Mercedes van! (Turns out that vehicle was a black Sprinter that was actually behind us at SFO). We even got nice parking at Disneyland without paying for preferred parking because there's a special section for oversized vehicles! Passengers on our trip were very comfortable on our travels. Tons of room for luggage and you can even stand up in the Sprinter because it's so roomy! Only concern was making sure we had enough clearance in some areas since the vehicle is over 10' tall. Returning the van was seamless also. I've always loved Enterprise and this time was just another great experience. Had thought about getting an uber to get home but then asked if Enterprise could give me a lift home, and they did! The gentleman who drove me home in their Honda Odyssey was so kind and we had some good laughs about our Sprinter experiences. All in all, a very positive experience. The employees are trained very well, professional but also have wonderful personalities and sense of humor. Couldn't ask for a better experience! So glad they had this Sprinter at this location too. A surprise post-rental charge with no invoice or prior notice! Warning to folks here that this Enterprise rental charged un-invoiced charges to my credit card on their file. I found charges on my credit card statement which I had not received invoice or itemized receipt for. They passed billing dispute between bill-to party and them to me as the customer. They provided no support for resolving the dispute they had and left it fully for me to resolve. I called them and they asked if I want the invoice if I liked to, but the charges are in compliance with the rental agreement and they provide no support for resolving these matters. This could be common practice as this is written into rental contract that they can charge the customer if bill-to party does not cover all the charges. What had happened? My car was took into work by Ford in Roseville and a rental was provided based on the contract. Ford was marked as bill-to party with Pays:100.0% on the rental contract with 0 charges for me when I picked up the car from Enterprise. My rental period was 4 days. I retuned the car as agreed to Ford. I was told that all is well. I even received a call from Enterprise few days later that they have received the car and no charges are due as all was well. I found $144 charged to my car by Enterprise few days after that from my back statement. I had not gotten any communication as to why this sum was charged, no invoice, no recipe. I called and they said this is as per contract as bill-to party approved payment for 1 day only and 3 rest of the days they would not pay for and Enterprise just charged these days to my card without any communication. They said that this as per contract and if bill-to party does not pay then they are allowed to charge the card and will not support in dispute. They said that I need to work this out with Ford and if Ford pays for the 3 days then they would reimburse me. It took a while for Ford to understand what had happened as they assure that they had approved all 4 days. Eventually Ford manager called Enterprise and I was paid the sum back by Enterprise shortly after that. Ford gave me screen shot of them approving 4 days all along. The point here is not what Ford or Enterprise communicated as I was not part of that. The point here is that Enterprise did charge me without invoice and didn't provide any support in resolving the matter. This eroded the trust to car rentals and specially to Enterprise. read more

I received your response which led me to nowhere. I've contacted customer service on the site you directed me to and have not received a response after three calls. It appears from other customer reviews with complaints an Enterprise employee will direct them to this same site to discuss the complaint further. Something other than apologies and explanations for this type of common issue needs to be addressed. Enterprise should not be allowed to make excuses for their failures. My experience was so-so. I needed a rental since my car was getting warranty work done at Hyundai. I spent over an hour and a half waiting. I was sitting outside, and once I realized people who came in after me and were given cars first, I went back inside. The guy who had checked me in confirmed I was skipped over. They called my name indoors and failed to check outdoors. Was given a 2024 car with minor scrapes on the front and was told they were already documented. Had my car for a week. The 3rd day of having it, it was hit while parked. A new driver failed to back up entirely out of a parking spot before turning continuing forward (I was backed into my spot). Front passenger side was hit. I had walked out to the car and she informed me, gave me her info, claiming liability.... Next day I had called her insurance and Enterprise. Brought the car into enterprise for them to inspect and write down info and start a claim. Since I was not in the car and 3rd party was claiming liability, I was good to go.. Allison was absolutely amazing. I kept the car since it was still driveable, until my car was done at the dealership. When it came time to return the car a few days later, Allison was still there and was fantastic in remembering the case. She was quick and efficient. Making sure everything was written down for the information to go to the damage recovery unit. Now, I'm not sure how to write a review for the damage recovery unit, but "Shan"? was unprofessional and did not know her information. She kept stating there was a no-fault contract. California is an "at-fault" state. Allison had clearly written in the claim in what happened and that the 3rd party was claiming full liability/fault, but I was still written a letter stating I was responsible for the damages. Shan said I would need to get a hold of my insurance, and that the 3rd parties insurance was also billed. Come to find out, the claim number was written in the policy number and they were never billed. I called the at-fault's insurance, who called the damage recovery unit again and got Fred. Fred was way more knowledgeable and ensured I did not need to involve my insurance, the at-fault claimed full liability, and that I (or my insurance) did not need to pay anything. I think what makes me mad the most is Shan had said she's a part of the damage recovery unit and makes the decisions. Anyone else I talked to "wouldn't know as much as they do". But the fact is, she didn't know anything. She said anyone else I spoke to wouldn't be able to tell me anything different. That was a lie. Shan was wrong, but was hell-bent on being right. Convenient and Reliable [Roseville CA] We have used this location more than once in the past for car rental, the last one during our Midwest road trip (North and South Dakotas and Nebraska) in July 2024. That car was a Honda Accord and did great for us. Another time was a Nissan Sentra during a long weekend in Shasta County for Memorial Day. This location is great and easy access, next to the Echo Park Automotove (formerly occupied by Fry's Electronics) on N Sunrise Ave. The cars have always been clean and reliable and we've always received friendly and helpful service. I feel completely deceived and scammed by this Enterprise branch in Roseville, CA. I never thought I would have to write something like this, but what happened at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch at 150 N Sunrise Ave, Roseville, CA was absolutely unacceptable and feels like a deliberate scam. I received a rental car through my insurance company while my vehicle was being repaired. When I came to pick up the car, the employee asked if I wanted to add a Protection Plan. I said yes, but I clearly told him: "Only for five days, because I'm taking a long trip out of state. I don't need it for the full rental period." He replied, "Okay, no problem." He mentioned it was around $30 per day, but never said anything about having to return to cancel it later. Before leaving, I asked if I'd get a receipt or contract. The employee said, "Don't worry, everything will be emailed to you." I trusted them and left. I never received any email--nothing in my inbox, spam, promotions, or anywhere. Weeks later, after returning the car, I was shocked to find out I'd been charged $809 USD for that Protection Plan--for the entire rental period, not just the five days I requested. When I called, the employees insisted, "Everything's in the contract--you agreed to it." But how could I have agreed to something I never received or even saw? I explained over and over that no one had told me I needed to "come back in person" to cancel it. They promised callbacks that never happened. After multiple calls, I reached the branch manager, Brenden Hall. He told me he'd check the contract and call me back. He didn't. I had to visit in person. At the office, he repeated: "You signed the contract; it says you must come back to cancel the plan." I asked to see where exactly it says that. He insisted it's written in the Terms and Conditions. I've since reviewed those Terms myself--they say nothing of the kind. There is no clause anywhere stating that a customer must personally visit the branch to cancel a Protection Plan or any optional coverage. That was a complete lie. Standing in their office, I even checked my email again in front of them--nothing from Enterprise. I asked for my contract number; they couldn't find any record tied to my email. Then Brenden printed a "contract" and handed it to me, saying, "Here, this is yours." The signature wasn't mine. When I examined it later, I realized it was actually another customer's contract from 2023 with that person's name, signature, and personal information. That means they not only lied but also handed me someone else's private data. I feel completely deceived and financially exploited, as if the staff intentionally withheld information just to squeeze more money out of me. They created a false narrative about an "in-person cancellation rule" that doesn't exist, fabricated excuses, and repeatedly ignored my calls. Even after admitting they'd given me someone else's contract, they promised to email my real one the next day. Of course, they never did. Then they said the manager was "out sick." When he returned, he promised to send it within an hour or two--and never followed through. It's now been over a two week from this investigation , and still no call, no contract, no apology. I'm not against paying for what I agreed to--those five days of coverage, yes--but not $800 for something I never authorized. This experience shows a shocking level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism. It feels like the staff deliberately avoided giving full information so they could later claim I "agreed" to charges I never consented to. That's not a misunderstanding--it's deception. As a paying customer, I expected transparency and integrity. Instead, I was lied to, overcharged, ignored, and handed another customer's personal document. This isn't just poor customer service; it's unethical, and it potentially violates consumer-protection and privacy laws. If you're considering renting from this Enterprise location--be extremely careful. Double-check every single line, demand a printed contract, and don't trust verbal assurances. What happened to me should never happen to anyone else. I've already filed a formal complaint with Enterprise Corporate Office, and I intend to contact the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, and California Department of Consumer Affairs regarding this case. Roseville Chrysler gave me a rental while the worked on my car. Very nice Went to enterprise. All the people who work at the office where nice. No problems. They only had a big truck, had it one night. Drove home, which is close. Did not put gas in. Got an $18 bill. They said i used 2 gallons of gas at $9 thats $18 bucks. Thats all i can say. We rented a car from a different location. Called customer service multiple times and advised us to call the nearest enterprise to see if they have any available cars and swap the car. Because we are having some safety issues. I talked to Angela and she said they have 15 SUVs available. But when I told her about the issues we are having with our current reservation, she changed her tone and said she can get us in a sedan because all the suvs are now booked. I also talked to her supervisor and her supervisor said the same thing, only sedan for swap. Because all the suvs are now booked. Prior to this, we tried to book online and then called to make sure. The lady told my husband, they will let you book online but the car is not available here. We are very sad that all 3 employees denied our requests to swap our faulty vehicle. Enterprise should look into this! Is this a protocol that they need to follow or the location doesn't want to take faulty vehicles and give their newer once to customers in need? I accidentally ran my battery down and my car could not be jumped. The car did not recognize the key. Enterprise set up the tow and I got an Uber to the local branch. Everthing was going well until I was told that I cannot get in to a new car until my existing car needs to be intaked by the Enterperise Service Center. I have to wait an extra hour or longer. I NO LONGER have responsibility for the car but I have to wait. I was not advised of this so I'm stuck waiting. Just boggles my mind. read more

I had a terrible experience with this location. I rented a car and was in a hurry to get to the Bay Area, so I didn't do a full walk-through before leaving--my mistake, but time was critical. The car had only half a tank of gas and absolutely reeked of marijuana. The smell was so strong it made me nauseous during the drive. I tried multiple times to call the local office to report the issue but kept getting routed to the general reservation line. When I finally reached someone at the location, I asked to speak with the manager (Fernando), but he wasn't available. The employee I did speak with became defensive and rude--and then hung up on me. I called back, and they hung up on me again. As someone who works for a large corporate company with a contract through Enterprise, this level of customer service is unacceptable. I highly advise others to avoid renting from this location. The car was essentially a rolling hotbox, and the staff's response was beyond unprofessional. read more

We were trying to rent a car for a weekend trip with the family and called ahead to make sure the vehicle was available. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told there was no vehicle--which was very disappointing and stressful. However, I have to say that Katie Dansham, the manager working at the time, was beyond helpful. Not only did she take care of us, but she also reassured and calmed us down, promising they would find the vehicle we had reserved. I am beyond grateful to see that there are people like her who will do everything they can to make sure customers are taken care of. We ended up needing to go to a different location, and she even drove me there--about 40 minutes away--to pick up the vehicle we needed. That level of service is rare, and it made all the difference. The trip turned out great, and the effort she put in was well worth it. I highly recommend her and what she brings to the Enterprise team. After disputing they contacted us right away to fix the situation and get it fixed for me. They went above and beyond to help us and get my backup camera working again. I was racially profiled, discriminated, and retaliated against by Evan Bennett. His behavior is unbecoming of a manager! Horrible experience at the Roseville AutoMall Enterprise! After renting a vehicle from San Francisco, I went to Evan's location to switch to a larger car. Evan gave me the runaround and was very antagonizing. He treated his white customers differently, serving them quickly while I faced disrespect, was overlooked, and overcharged. I was even told to return to my original car to put $10 of gas in to avoid a full tank fee. After all that, I was informed I wouldn't get the car I waited an hour for. Mind you, I called ahead and confirmed they had a larger vehicle, And I made an additional reservation just in case before I arrived. This was the day after Christmas. I was with my 10 year old niece! Who hadn't eaten! We had just driven 2.5 hours from San Francisco. I had only reserved the car for a day! Evan knew all of these facts. Then still put me through the runaround for an hour. And then he denies me a car swap because he didn't like me asking questions about why I had been experiencing such horrible customer service. I arrived there at 5, they didn't attempt to put me into the new car until 5:35p. It was a swap out. There should not have been a price difference. Still, they greedily tried to scam me into paying $175 when my contract said $95. I complained. Then they said it was $145 since they penalized me for the gas being on 5.5/8, when I originally picked it up at 7/8. I complained. Their scams didn't work on me, so they retaliated by taking the new car back, yelling at me to go put gas in the original car, and come back claiming the new car would still be waiting for me. Upon returning, the new car was gone, I saw the rep who pulls out cars and informed him I was back. He literally said, "I'm with another customer, go check in again with the front desk" meaning... restart the process! I've already been here 45 minutes!! How much longer is this about to take? They knew I was coming right back, the gas station was less than a minute away. I didn't understand why he moved the larger vehicle, and closed out the swap. I shouldn't have had to start over from scratch. I waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room. Then I asked how long it would be. At this time there were no customers in line....But 3 reps at the counter. I complained again, asking why one of them couldn't assist me. I've been here since 5. It's going on 6 O'clock! Evan got extremely defensive and nasty with me. He then leaves from behind the counter, walked towards me. I was sitting down in a chair at this time. Evan stood over me in an extremely threatening and antagonistic manner with the original car keys, saying "you are not about to come in and tell my staff what they should and should not be doing." He then said "I'm not about to swap you out, you can go head and leave in the car you came in." He scared my niece! She was visibly shaken up. I was livid! I have been renting for 10 years, I know what to expect from Enterprise and Evan wasn't giving that. I am a black man sitting here waiting to be served and watching all the white customers getting served instead. I never waited in line to speak to Evan. It was not that busy. I have never waited somewhere and didn't know why I was waiting. He never provided updates, checked in, or explained the wait. He just didn't want to serve me. It felt like he wanted me to leave and made getting service as hostile as possible. I have done a ton of swaps and never had to pay for gas, nor did I see a price difference at a swap out. This entire situation was avoidable. I shouldn't have been there that long. I've been renting with Enterprise exclusively, and regularly for 10 plus years. And have never once felt so disrespected or tormented. I was antagonized to the point of feeling like I was on an episode of PUNKED. He was beyond rude on multiple occasions, but after today's incident it was clear it will be our last time at this location. No manager should go out of their way to be rude and difficult with a customer to where Kyle was obviously taking pleasure in acting this way while just to get a response from the customer so Kyle can act like a victim! I was currently going through an insurance claim and most of the locations did not have a regular small sedan that would be covered by my insurance. So I settled for a Tacoma. I came here, to swap out the truck from the Northgate Location so I can get something that is covered and the salesman named Kyle showed me a Mitsubishi Mirage which was the only car there either way. Car had zip ties on hub caps and a huge indent drivers side. I mentioned it to him about the indent and he said don't worry that the current damages on the car is already on the profile. I put my initial and after I return this car Enterprises files a insurance claim because they found me liable for a garbage of a rental that they offered. So now that I'm going through this process of a insurance claim I have another claim because of the negligence of the staff from this location. I'm so upset with Enterprise and I would never recommend you this location for the amount of time you wait in the line and have to go through this is awful. Please make sure you do not initial and make sure you don't initial for damages on the car from the previous client. Please make sure they send you an email with the paperwork. Brought my truck in for service at Future Ford but it was going to take a few days so they offered me a rental car. Sure, why not. So they shuttled me over to Enterprise. Obviously Ford was paying so they weren't going to let me rent a super nice ride. So I was given a Toyota Corolla and I have to say it was pretty beat up. Not just the outside but the inside was too. The back seat seriously looked like a late night orgy went down. Stain on top of stain on top of stain. Ewe! Lol. Then obviously someone was smoking in it because there was many burn holes on the seat and even on the liner above me. Someone was seriously cruising down the road smoking with the windows down and just letting the ashes fly! Lol There was even stains on the liner up above, how in the hell does that happen. Lol Anyway, I appreciated the free rental and honestly Hope was amazing with her customer service. So it wasn't all bad. Now I have my truck back and all is well. read more
