    We came to JLS to look for a truck for my hubby. We chose JLS because we've bought my Tahoe and hubby's Silverado truck years ago. I wanted to get my hubby a new truck because he was tired of his Ford F-150. This time I told my husband to pick a truck that he will never grow tired of and has all the bells and whistles. When we came here, our salesman was Alexzander P, he knew his trucks! He went out of his way to show us some trucks that my husband might like. We were super disappointed that we didn't buy a truck from him. He was super chill and never pushy like some sales guys?! Unfortunately, my husband didn't like the style of the new Chevy so I ended up getting him a GMC Z71 Sierra instead. We really did appreciate all of Alex's knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend you see him if you are in the market for a vehicle.

    My experience at Roseville Chevy was among the very best I've had at a major dealership. I made a small online inquiry and the next day I received a very kind and welcoming call from Gary. Most sales people are charming, but pushy. Gary came off as unassuming and helpful. It was apparent that he wasn't just following up on a tip but had actually read my note about what kind of truck I was looking for and talked to me about all the available options that met my needs. I know you might be thinking, that's what they are trained to do, but once I was on the phone with Gary, I asked him if he had read my inquiry, and he knew it verbatim . I knew he had what I was looking for and all I needed to do was swing by and check it out. I. So I was on my way. I was greeted like family and was taken straight to my new truck. After inspection, it was everything I was looking for. We went straight to finance. Gary and the team went out of there way to win my business, by negotiating like people who care about what was best for me, not the deal . I was given an amazing healthcare professional discount and was on my way with my brand new Chevy truck. I highly recommend Gary and Roseville Chevy if you are looking to be treated like family.

    Bought a brand new 2021 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 duramax diesel in July, 2021. I had issues with the check engine light turning on in September. I am giving 1 star because of the quality of the vehicle I was sold. I live 6 hours away from this dealership. So, I was forced to take my Colorado into my local Chevrolet dealership in Eureka, CA for repairs. It took my local dealer two different appointments to fix the check engine problem with my fan and fan circuit. My infotainment (touch screen display) system has been glitching since October, 2021. The infotainment system will stop responding when I press navigation buttons to scroll through my SiriusXM. Sometimes the computer will reboot while I'm driving and display the Chevrolet logo or eventually the infotainment system will catch up to my button presses minutes later. I have contacted GM corporate countless times and they do not have any solution for me. My local dealer - Northwood Chevrolet in Eureka, CA told me the infotainment issue is a widespread problem with Chevrolet vehicles but they do not have a solution for me at the moment. My exhaust brake stopped working in November. I swear I get one issue fixed and another issue starts up. I would appreciate a reliable vehicle and thought I made a good decision going to John L Sullivan. I have called John L Sullivan numerous times and they don't have any solution for me.

    Was currently in the market for a new car, we had gone to the State fair, and to the Gilroy festival and at both locations they have a Chevy Traverse and my wife and I really liked the Traverse. We decided to start searching for a deal on the Chevy Traverse, we went to the Chevy in Elk Grove but wasn't sure so we decided to go on line and build our on Traverse and then reached out to a few dealers. We decided to go wit John L Sullivan. We pulled up to see what they had in stock with no intentions to actually test drive just wanted to compare prices, we got approached by Guillermo aka G, G was pretty chill and i liked his demeanor, he wasn't pushy and seemed like he really wanted to get us into a new car. Long story short we test drove a Traverse, and I thought we made a deal considering G shook hands on a price we agreed and told us that the price we were gonna pay was for that amount "OUT THE DOOR" when we got to the financing part i was told a different price. I wont get all into detail because I dont want to throw any one under the bus. I wasnt to happy with the results of my deal. The next day i got cold feet and I called wanting to return the vehicle. I called Chevy they said come on back but i know car sales men are full of ish, i said screw it, it is what it is. The next day i got a call asking me about my experience i explained to them what happened and they said they would call me in two days. Two days go by, i got a survey in my email i filled it and within an hour G calls me and we spoke about the situation he managed to take some more money off, koo!!! He said pull up tomorrow to sign the new paper work. The next day the wife and i pull up met G, he told me the new price, broke it down to me, i told him what i wanted to do, he said it was good then we met up wit the financing guy Ron. Ron was koo as fuk!!! I liked Ron lol i felt like i could relate to him, shout out to Ron. If you go to John L Sullivan ask to be helped by Ron. Ron got us squared away told us the new monthly. I would have gave them 5 stars but i felt like i still took a slight L. My wife liked her new Traverse so thats all i care about, i can afford the monthly so i dont have to stress off it. I felt John L Sullivan did kind of try to make it work but then again idk i think they should of split the difference of what price was said to me. Non the less, something is better than nothing.

    The guys down at John L Sullivan Chevrolet went above and beyond when it came down to an engine problem that I had to deal with. The fuel pump exploded sending metal fragments into the fuel injectors and throughout the whole top end of my motor in my 2014 chevy Silverado 25000HD and I was looking at a $12,300.00 bill because the extended warranty I purchased would not cover the damages because I use the truck for "commercial purposes". The service manager Ed, as well as the GM Brian Watkins and Mr. Sullivan went to bat for me with the insurance company and got them to pay for the parts, labor, and truck rental while the service department fixed my truck. This was a huge blessing and something I will never forget. This why I choose John L Sullivan Chevrolet, and why I will always drive a Chevy! Thank you to everyone involved

    A while back I purchased a car for my daughters graduation from this dealership. They treated me right. I wrote a long letter to the dealership showing my appreciation. But I didn't let everyone else in the world know. Til now. If u buy a car, buy it here. I think that's a quote from Clint Eastwood. If not, it should be. To put the icing on the cake for me was just yesterday on my birthday. My dealer, a young man named Ethan Connaker sent me a happy birthday email. May not sound like much, buy it does hit the spot when you get the kind of service that this young man gave. Great job Ethan and team. John should be proud!

    The car I bought here in 2017 has been great unfortunately they convinced me to make a huge mistake buying their maintenance plan. Every single time I come here with an appointment it takes at least 3 hours. Today I had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change and here it is 1pm and I'm still waiting, finally asked for an update and told another 25 minutes at least. I'm going to be trading this car in tomorrow and it won't be here.

    The failed dip stick which is 6 mo old is not covered by warranty apparently.

    Did not purchase or even look at their inventory to be honest - I was kind of the customer who…read moreusually would get pushed off because I really had questions lingering from disappointment I had at the dealership across from here....i came in pretty hot and ready, so this review is purely based on my in person experience: after wasting time driving to roseville based on a deal Kia across the way said they had for me, I ended up coming here to mainly ask questions. instead of any forcing to pick a car or take a seat, I immediately was greeted and then walked to reception by Jack Slone, the consultant, who got my info quickly and proceeded to have the receptionist call a finance manager for me per my immediate request (all less than 60 seconds from walking in the door literally). And guess what - the finance manager, Sawan, happily agreed to come out (the phone was on speaker). Not only that, he gave me his undivided attention for at least 3-5 minutes - something other dealers don't even do when you've had your credit run numerous times AND drove over 45 min to get to the appointment. Anyway, from this experience alone I can say the service here is worth your time at the very least. The candor and attention to detail and overall urgency around my requests were front and center unlike other places where their objectives supersede anything you have to say. Job well done - I'll legitimately be back! Props to Sawan for his professionalism and Jack (sales consultant) and Charlie (receptionist) for doing their jobs without any attitude or pushback (literally very undervalued these days!)

So we're on the…read moremarket for a new car, have been watching Toyota build up their EV selection for a while now. We have a Honda Prologue that we are turning in for a buyback because it's a lemon/defective car. We got there to try and test drive a BZ first sales person we asked told us that they were all sold out and tried to get us into a CHR, just like the last time we asked for a 4Runner and they tried to get us in a Venue. 2nd BS. A "sales manager" came by and now all of a sudden there was a miracle, a BZ was available? What? Where did it come from? Lol. So 3rd and final BS. We did mention that our Honda Prologue was going to be returned as a buy back within a week.!The sales manager proceeded to try and convince us that he could go ahead and take care of it for us? So Toyota will payoff our car? And give us about 10k back after everything is done? We didn't know Toyota would buy our Lemon at full price? Plus all the payments we didn't? Again listening isn't really their strong suit at this Toyota dealership, that used car salesman mentality. We shall try Toyota again in a few years. We also went to Volvo and the experience was night and day, zero pressure, they were committed to giving us all the information, showed empathy for what we were going though and invited us back after we have dealt with Honda. Even showed us all the options with a smile.

It arrived maybe 2 week later.. everything moved along fine, no game playing, no haggle hence you pay for that peace of mind, my only frustration once you purchase the vehicle service department dont return phone calls.. the number they use to text on I haven't received anything back..my only complaint to other potential buyers test drive during the day you can see any visible cosmetic damages, and come back another day test drive right around dark time to check all headlight is visible and working.. wait few days and see if you still want the vehicle also sometimes the prices may drop.. when I purchased my vehicle it was a price drop maybe less then 1k..anyways the service department can make the whole store make buyers or returning buyers have a bad experience seems after you get the car you get ghosted

He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us evaluate our needs to the appropriate units. Negotiations was easy with very little back and forth and closed the deal within an hour. Once the deal was done the paperwork took longer mainly because they were so busy for Memorial Day and it seems everyone was buying a Honda- lol. Overall, nice selection of vehicle to choose from, knowledgeable staff, friendly service. This is a second car we purchased from this dealership over the last several years, so I highly recommend them.

I purchased a 2019 Honda Clarify in April of 2025 and was initally very please with my purchase. But when I went to file my taxes this year, I found out the dealership did not submit the required time of sale report to the IRS so that I could claim the clean vehicle tax credit the car qualified for. I tried reaching out to both the salesman and the finance manager who sold me the car initially for help - ironically in an email where the salesman, Malek, assured me that one I buy from Honda I'm a part of the "Honda Family", and they never responded! I called multiple times with and was told another finance manager, Kyle Smith, was responsible for filing these reports. He never returned my calls or voicemails. So finally I drove all the way to Roseville from Sacramento to handle it in person. Kyle Smith, their finance manager, was incredibly rude and dismissive, and wouldn't let me get 2 words out before interrupting to tell me there is nothing they could do. He walked off and refused to help more. I turned around and found another manager who was able to go to their "controller" Sabrina Radoff and she magically found a way to press the required buttons to file the report they should have filed a year ago. No one apologized for how I was treated by Kyle or for not returning my emails or calls until I sent an email asking for an apology and explaining how awful my encounter with this business was. Lesson learned: Do not buy from Autonation Honda of Roseville - they are happy to help before the sale, but afterwards, getting them to do basic things to help you is like pulling teeth.
