Be very cautious when they do the initial inspection because it is not at all thorough and it puts you as the renter at risk if they accuse you of preexisting damage that they did not list in the initial inspection. I recommend taking a video of the car before leaving their parking lot for your own record. The vehicles are covered in scuffs, dings and dents. Gave 1 star, because 0 wasn't an option. Enterprise accepted our reservation for a truck, but didn't have a truck available when we arrived to pick it up. They said they accept all reservations because their motto is to "say yes". The man I spoke to said he called me the day before to "confirm" my reservation, because they had a lot of trucks but they were in high demand. Not sure if they let someone else rent the truck we reserved, but we ended up without the truck we were depending on and in a predicament. We were moving our daughter to Arizona for nursing school and needed a larger vehicle for her belongings. Enterprise left us without the larger vehicle we needed, with no offers to help us find another solution. Don't reserve here. They are unreliable and unapologetic. Will never return. read more

I reserved a car, even called the day before to make sure there would be a car waIting and was told yes, there would be a car. I got there and was told they were "slammed" and had to order from Truckee. It's now been 30 minutes that amd I am still waiting for my reserved rental. This happened to my mother in law, too. They are connected to a body shop so they give out their rentals to them as well. Stay clear. You'll be waiting even though you made a reservation. This is bad business dealings. I would recommend that if you are going to run out of inventory due to people keeping their rentals longer than originally planned you need to notify people who made reservations weeks in advance so they don't waste their time and money getting to you for a car that was reserved that isn't there. At least it looked clean and your staff was nice. Might attempt to do business with you guys again because of that but right now your competition will get the first look. read more

I have worked with enterprise in Rocklin for years...last few rentals the service is just really bad. They don't have proper inventory so even making a reservation is pointless. They never have time to wash cars so you either verbally authorize to take it dirty or you have to wait past your reservation to get it cleaned. I then modified the reservation to drop off a day early and it was supposed to credit me $15, it didn't! I complained about it and he said he credit another $15 for my hassle and he didn't. So I called again and they argue with me about returning early and seemed confused on how I was able to modify the reservation! I actually have a free day rental for all the rentals I've done.. I will probably use that and never do business with them again....I'm tired of their lies and dishonest business practices! read more

The car was filthy when we got it. The outside of the car was dirty and had bird poop down the windshield. The guy said they didn't clean the outside to get it to us quicker (we got it at our set pickup time) but that the inside was clean for us. The inside was definitely not clean and there was a huge pile of what looked like ketchup on the back seat/seatbelt area. He also told us that the car had 1/4 tank of gas and to bring it back at that amount. Once I got on the car, I saw that it was less than 1/8 tank and had to fill up immediately. Overall very disappointing and we will not be coming back. On the plus side, the lady who helped us return the car was very nice. read more

We were hoping to get a Tesla rental car but one was not available. They instead put us into a brand new Audi SUV (still had paper plates) which was fine but certainly not a Tesla. The second day they texted us asking if everything was going well with our rental and we informed them that we would still like a Tesla. Beyond ridiculous experience. I had an 8:20 appt with the nearby dealership and a reservation for a rental with enterprise in which they were supposed to pick me up. I waited at the dealership for 1/2 hour before the dealership finally drove me there to get the car. Showed up at 8:55 and multiple staff around, completely nonchalant about not picking me up. I was then told I had to wait a few for a car when I was already running late because of enterprise. It was hardly a few minutes... Asked several more times while waiting and It wasn't until I broke down crying to the manager that he took action. Literally 35 minutes wait to get a car I had a reservation for. In total, one hour and 10 minutes wasted from my appointment time and I was 45 minutes late to my dads 70th birthday breakfast. Poor service. Zero accountability. read more

I do not usually take the time to write a review. Today I felt the need to compliment and thank Kristina the branch manager. I recently got hit (not my fault) the other insurance company said they would not cover the cost of the insurance through enterprise. Kristina in a very professional way talked to the insurance company and they ended up paying for the cost (as they should as I am the one being inconvenienced) I really felt like she went above and beyond to take care of her customer. This location is so disrespectful. They treated me as if I was not a person and could not handle driving a truck when it was there issue for giving me one in the first place. I rented an SUV a week in advance and was told that one was not available upon arrival and that they did have a truck available. Fine. I drive a truck daily for work it's really not a big deal, but this man at the front desk kept insisting he wanted to make sure it was something I was comfortable with driving, in the most condescending tone. It was a Toyota Tacoma for crying out loud. I would also like to add that the pictures I have included were looked at by the front desk person while he was showing me the rental, telling me how my luggage should fit with the seats folded up, as where I was driving too could not have my luggage in the bed of the truck due to weather, but had blocked off the back seat so I could not see this disgusting mess until after I got home and was putting my luggage into the vehicle. He knew it was a mess, full of pet hair, cereal, trash and children's toys, yet still let me leave with that and a crack in the windshield. I also could not fit my luggage so had to put my things inside of trash bags in the bed of the truck as they offered no other solution for me to get a different vehicle and I had to leave early the next morning. read more

Horrible experience, the manager was rude condescending would not give me back my full deposit, so the vehicle was not up to par when it was actually given to me, dirty I had rented two vehicles within a weeks. Of time had to return the first one because the aux cords wouldn't work there was no windshield wiper fluid. Asked for another vehicle with both of those things they said they would give me one and the second vehicle I got was not fully cleaned and had no windshield wiper fluid. I had a car wreck on a weekend and they set up a Enterprise rental car for me. I specifically asked to be picked up at 9:00 am. By 9:10 I start calling the office to find out what happened to my rental. Finally at 9:30 some one answers. I ask about my ride and they tell me I should have called them to say i needed a ride. It's on my reservation. Still waiting for a ride and no Sorry from them. Ridiculous. When I finally get picked up and a car I'll edit this. But as of right now I'm missing a very much needed doctors appointment because of this. Do they not view the reservations? If they fail on this they will fail elsewhere. Find a better company or branch. This one seems to care less about times and needs. read more

I have experienced better customer service from gas station attendants. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle there was one person ahead of me. The employee did not acknowledge me, not even a glance. When she was finished and it was my turn she continued to enter something into the computer while I stepped up to the counter. Still no acknowledgement of any kind. So I stood there until she was good and ready to say hello. Pathetic. So after giving my info and waiting for the car to be ready she takes me outside where I am presented with a vehicle dripping wet. They didn't bother to wipe it down, there was still dirt on the windows and windshield. I would have insisted on them doing a better job however I was in a hurry. Upon returning the vehicle I found the experience to be as equally unprofessional. I arrived at 1pm to an empty office. I stood there for 10 minutes before someone walked in. This guy was obviously not supposed to check me in but he did what he could to help until the appropriate employee arrived. It seems the three employees who should have been there decided it would be a brilliant idea for all three of them to leave the office at the same time to fetch their food. Apparently being college educated doesn't guarantee common sense and professionalism. I have tried the Auburn location and the Lincoln location as well. They all seem to be consistently inadequate. The inventory at all locations is horrible as well. I don't plan on using Enterprise any longer. read more

I think the employees are great, the problem is not the employees or the service of the employees, the problem is there are no vehicles available ever when I try. I go on line, reserve a vehicle, get a reservation number and it even tells me what type of vehicle I am going to get and then the Rocklin office calls me later when I am on my way to pick up the vehicle and they say they are very sorry, but they have no vehicles available. What good is a rental car company that has no cars available. I have heard that many times this year trying to rent a car from Enterprise. I am very unhappy with Enterprise. read more
