Let me preface with "why can't we have a zero star option?" Arrived at 2:15 to pick up a car already reserved through USAA. OFFICE WAS EMPTY. At 2:25 a bald Latino gentleman came from the back just to tell everyone waiting that "he's going on break" but someone should be in soon. We proceed to watch him eat for 30 minutes and then head to the employee bathroom for another 20 (I'm guessing lunch didn't agree with him). FINALLY at 3:15 (after an hour of waiting), I'm assuming breaks over cause he calls our name. Worst customer service I've experienced in a very long while. Choose ANY other rental car place other than this one. If I was forced to use this one again, I'd rather walk. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND AGGRESSIVE STAFF Roadside assistance directed me to this location, saying a full-size SUV was available to swap after my rental got a nail in the tire. When I arrived, staff refused to provide any of the multiple full-size SUVs parked on site and instead decided to patch my tire. This took over 4.5 hours, leaving my wife and our 6-week-old baby without access to the diaper bag (diapers, wipes, bottles) locked in the car. +2 hours in: When I asked to retrieve the diaper bag out of the car (my child had a dirty diaper and was hungry), the employee refused to leave the desk or call other employees to get it. After insisting the employee Lansy put hands on me and tried to force me away from Enterprise. I filed a police report alleging assault and child endangerment. While waiting, I overheard staff give another customer a car with a cracked windshield and tell him he'd be liable if it spread. He returned it due to the risk, and they offered him no replacement--he had to Uber home. +3 hours in: I was told the tire couldn't be patched after all and that I needed to drive 10 minutes to get it changed. At ~3:00 PM (4.5 hours later): As I was speaking to the police an employee comes over. I was finally given a car that had been parked there the entire time. I called corporate three times and emailed a full report during this ordeal, with no response. I have spoken to two branch managers who said a regional manager would get in touch but nothing. Direct quote from employee (Lansy): "I'm sorry you didn't get what you needed then." This is unacceptable behavior and shouldn't be tolerated in a customer-facing role. read more

My car was hit while parked & part of the other drivers insurance offered the choice between Enterprise & Hertz Rental. Big mistake. After my car was finished & dropping off the rental at the body repair shop, Enterprise accused me of damaging the rental & not having the insurance. This is a few days later. After several months of threats & harassment, we spoke to a representative that agreed with us & dropped the accusations. I barely drove the car! At no point after dropping the rental off, did someone do a walk around or inspection of the car with me. I never signed anything. Do yourself a favor & if you need a rental. Stay clear of Enterprise. It's a scam. Horrible experience & never again. read more

I would give them a zero if I could! They were late picking me up, then wouldn't split the payment on a credit card and debit card. Neither would they take Apple Pay. Then, the kicker was that they wouldn't take me home!! They said it was after hours! This was AFTER they were late picking me up, and then we had to go get others "on the way back to the location." When we got there the other TWO people jumped in front of me, so I had ADDITIONAL wait time added! All in all they wasted TWO HOURS OF MY TIME!!!! What a waste of time and money!!! This place is nice and clean associates are nice, they picked me up from blue ribbon collision. I was renting due to someone rear ending me. When I get there I am told there is nothing in the insurances budget and I would have to pay out of pocket.... The only had one car for me that was 5$ more a day so I pay what I need to to get on the road. They ask me if I want to add any protection and I decline. I drive off and hear rattling from the wheel well, also the car had tan seats and never looked like they never cleaned them. I myself went home and used my own leather cleaner and microfiber towel to clean at least the drivers seat. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they test drive their vehicles to make sure they are running sound. Luckily, I was able to exchange for a new vehicle at the airport. read more

My first review from long distance. I was asked by my boss to get her a rental car in San Antonio, TX for that evening's flight because there was none at the airport she was arriving at due to the recent Hurricane. I called over the place including the airport for suggestions on where she could get one. Airport was not helpful whatsoever. Called Hertz, Alamo who were also not helpful. Finally I thought I'd try my trusty YELP and while this location only had 2 reviews, it had 5 stars. The man that answered the phone was SO helpful and SO nice! He found me a car that would be ready the next morning by 10 am even though he said he had a waiting room full of people waiting to get a car at that moment. He asked to make sure she had a major credit card because they required it for out state customers which I appreciated. He also advised having her call first thing in the morning before arrival to ensure time would be met on their end. He was patient when he had to wait for me to gather the necessary information. I wish I got his name darn it. Unfortunately I had to cancel because the purpose of her trip was to see a dying relative that would probably not make it through the night so she opted to Uber the 3 hr drive that night. I called back embarrassed having to go through all that, but the man (a different employee) was equally as nice. He even thanked me for calling back and cancelling so that someone else could have the car. I don't ever plan on visiting Texas, but if do, I would come here! Thanks guys. read more

Well unlike all these horrible experiences from others my experience was 100 % awesome. It was spring break 2018. They were short on help so my driver was an hour late picking me up ,causing me to be late for a meeting in Corpus. However Mia picked me up and was very apologetic for the delay. She made every effort to make it up to me. I got a free upgrade (Nissan Rogue). Very nice keyless car, great gas mileage.I got an excellent rate for the week especially for Spring Break time. I have rented once since then, no problems. I'm about to rent again in n August. I found all employees very friendly when I returned the car. read more

Had to rent a car after an accident, they work with My Collision Center down the road. They arranged everything with the repair shop, it was so easy and painless both to pick up and to drop off the car. I dropped the car off at the repair shop (see, I didn't even have to go to Enterprise!) I got a call the next day from Enterprise making sure it was ok to charge me for the extras I added over what the insurance covered. What? Most places charge everything they can, and ask questions later, if ever. Mia, who I believe is assistant manager, is fantastic, really efficient and capable, and a very sweet young woman to boot. Fantastic service. I was renting a vehicle from this location while my car was being serviced due to an accident. Due to my outstanding luck at being at the wrong place at the wrong time, on the day I was to return the rental, someone backed into it. Always great customer service at this location. Have used them multiple times for work on my car or wrecks. Always helpful with upgrades. I was never charged when my insurance days were up. I got a phone call the day before asking if my car was still in the shop or not. One call to Usaa and it was fixed. Never charged or charged without a call. There one incident where I took my bag out of glove box that had all the manuals/receipts, insurance card, etc from my car that was in the body shop. When I returned the rental I forgot about that bag. 2 wks latter I needed papers from that bag. I called and was told anything that is found I is trashed. One would think if you see stuff that's valuable papers/receipts/insurance cards that has someone's name, address, phone # on it that you would actually hold it and CALL THE OWNER NOT TRASH IT!!!!!! I mean WTF!!!!!!! Common sense people! Gesh! 4 stars only because you trashed my stuff!!! Update: they called yesterday (weds) to notify my rental was up on sat, then called again today. Maybe those thhat say they didn't get a call thought it was spam call?? Mine came up as a nUmber different than main business #. I sent to vm, and they left a set tailed messages. As I stated above, I've never had non-notification of rental ending or charges. read more

What an absolute nightmare dealing with this enterprise. Particularly the Manager Courtney. I don't know his last name because he refused to give that out or a number to corporate. Thankfully google can do that. I was told that the bumper to bumper coverage was 17.99. I never sign up for this type of stuff but to my surprise I was told it was just 17.99 and the lady who got me into my rental even showed me the refund I'd be getting. I said "Wow! That's it" "Yes ma'am! That's it's and here's what you will be getting back" well it's now been over a week so I call asking about the refund and they inform me no I have a balance of over 100 dollars not including the total 50 dollar deposit they took. They wouldn't be refunding me at all actually! They'd be charging me more. The "understanding" manager Courtney explained to me they thought I was only renting for a day that's why they told me that price and refund. And refused to work with me at all with any refund. Thanks enterprise!! You are taking the last bit of money I have for me and my son for the next two weeks. I hope you feel accomplished. Next time you try to push a contract on someone make sure you explain it thoroughly and correctly especially someone that is struggling with a small child screaming. I won't ever be renting with you ever again and will make sure to not just go off the word of what I thought was a reputable honest company. Had to get a rental here while my hubby's car got repaired. Brian was our associate. He picked us up from the service shop and paperwork was pretty simple. He offered us a free upgrade so we wouldn't have to wait for our standard car to be cleaned and we agreed. Only problem was, when we got in and looked around the vehicle, there was trash from the last person! Why offer a free upgrade when that car is dirty, too? We were also told there would be a $50 hold on our card until they got the car back for damages. We were still charged the $50. There were no damages to the car besides the ones we showed him at the initial visit. I'll be calling on Monday and update my review if needed. Location is convenient, and looked clean. The employees seemed fairly nice. I did not like the parking lot. Is is extremely small considering the flow of people renting autos coming and going. Update: We were refunded the $50, but still don't like the parking lot ha! read more

My vehicle was involved in an accident and the other party's insurance was USAA. USAA contacted me and advised me they had reserved me a rental vehicle. Within minutes of hanging up with them an Enterprise representative contacted me and again advised me that the rental had been reserved and the only thing I needed to do was come in and pick it up and pay a $50 deposit which I would be refunded. However to my surprise when I got there to pick up them vehicle I was charged $114 and was told it was for the insurance. In which case had that been explained to me beforehand I would have made sure I kept the insurance on my vehicle. The vehicle was originally reserved for 3 days. The day before I was to return the vehicle I contacted Enterprise because I hadn't heard from the adjuster about my vehicle. I spoke with a very rude woman who spoke over me trying to anticipate the question I was going to ask. While explaining to her that I hadn't heard from the adjuster she interrupted me and said "umm ma'am we don't just let you keep the vehicle indefinitely". I had to tell her that was not my question and if she would let me finish without interrupting me I could get to my question. USAA contacted me the next morning and left me a message that they had extended the rental. Never heard anything from Enterprise until now that I've had the vehicle a week they contact me and tell me I have a balance on the coverage in the amount of $229. Why wait until this balance gets to this before you contact me? How come no one contacted me this time with the same energy they contacted me with to come and pick up the vehicle. And again spoke with yet another young lady who was also rude when asked that very question. So I'll have close to a $300 balance when I go in tomorrow. This is the worst service ever and after this situation is resolved I will never do business with Enterprise again due to the unprofessional customer service at this location. read more

Well, since my last post on the Nacogdoches Rd. store, I woke up this morning and they have now taken $2700.00 from my account. The original post told you they took out over $1300.00 with NO NOTIFICATION at all; said they didn't receive money from my insurance company. It took my one phone call to the insurance company; said they didn't receive the invoice, but cut the check that day. Five days later, Enterprise returned my money. That was on the 17th. of July, 2018. Here it is 10 days later and I wake up and $2700.00 has been taken from my account. Called the store and they verified they received the check from the insurance company and NO ONE can tell me why this money was deducted; again, no phone call what so ever. I have asked to speak to the General Manager, but low and behold, no call back from him. You would think they would have shredded my card number by now? Still no phone call before this happened. This is simply WRONG! And a terrible way to do business! DO NOT USE THEM! Unless, when you wake up it would be ok to be $2700.00 short, with no explanation. read more

I called the 800# at 7 AM this morning to schedule a pick up at 9 AM from the Nacogdoches location in order to rent a car, at 9:10 I called the office and told them that I had a 9 AM pick up scheduled and no one has been here. They told me that they didn't have a pick up for me and it would be 30 minutes before I could be picked up. I told them I would be late getting to work, but I would wait.I called back at 9:50 and was told that they were busy and there was only 3 of them there and it would be maybe 45 more minutes. To say the least I was furious. I called another company and while I was on the phone with that company, Courtney called me back to tell me that he couldn't pick me up because I was 25 minutes away. I told him I was only 15 minutes from him and told him that I was directed to them from the 800 # and I have rented 3 to 4 cars from them since December 2017. He said I should have call the one on IH 35 instead of them, blaming me for the problem. Never once did he say sorry for the inconvenience and he should have know my address from the beginning since he had all my info from my previous business with them. I told him to forget it, all of this has been a nightmare. A sorry would have gone a long way. Lousy, Lousy customer service.I told him I would never use Enterprise again. I got a better price and a nicer car from Hertz. However I was 2 hours late to work and I am an hourly employee. read more
