The counter where we picked up our rental car was slow and there were three separate lines that went to the same counter. This ended up causing a lot of confusion and frustration. The car drop-off was very easy and took only a few minutes. We got to choose from a variety of cars. The reservation matched the car that we drove off in. The car was clean and comfortable. I would rent from Alamo Rent A Car again.

The day I dropped off my car for repairs an Enterprise driver was there within five minutes to take me to this location where I submitted my deposit, signed all forms, and I was in my temporary car within ten minutes. Staff was helpful and efficient, when insurance submitted a form that they would not pay for one additional day (before contacting me smh) one of the employees contacted me immediately to make sure I was aware and advice that I contact insurance to ask for an extension. Long story short I ended up spending double what my original reservation. 8 or 9 calls to customer service only to be hung up on, put on hold for 20 minutes or more, told everything would be fixed or resolved, i even went back to talk to the manager and can't get a phone call back. the same agent was at the location and proceeded to tell me the vehicles are handed out first come first server... I have been renting from this place for over 10 years and never had this happen. When I said i wouldn't come back to that site again I was told ok...... like customer service means nothing nor does my business. To top it off i am a gold member so that meant nothing. Hertz has gone down hill from years past, I guess i need find a new company... so sad....

The vehicle was fantastic and we had no problems whatsoever with it When I picked up the vehicle in Philadelphia, the attendant asked me for my work ID And she said that I needed to have it in order to get the discount that was on my paperwork. No one has ever asked me for my work ID in the past I don't carry my work ID with me, and I felt a little uncomfortable with her attitude concerning that. Otherwise, the remainder of employees that I dealt with were very friendly and helpful.

Talk about professionalism, genuine person, ability, and a concern for my best interest interests. Greg knocked it out of the park. My reservation was ready just as I had ordered it and things went by effortlessly the best experience I've had here since the last time I dealt with Greg at the same counter. Dollar really went above and beyond with this guy and the quality of the car for the price that it cost. For transparency I did get the insurance because I'd rather pay a little bit in a worse case scenario than a large deductible. For me it's more like a peace of mind. The car was super clean and practically brand new. The whole process was seamless, nary an inconvenience. It was my first EV which was a little terrifying because I've heard so many stories of how hard it is to find a charger and we were going to run that air conditioning like it was a marathon, but I downloaded an app and it didn't take too long to charge it, plus it's super cheap compared to gas prices these days. Usually I'd say no to an EV but they said they would t charge me if the battery was empty, so I guess nobody wants the hassle and they're begging people to use the EVs. Lol, take that tree huggers.
