I've rented several vehicles in the past but this was the first (and last) rental from enterprise I will ever have. I told the rep that checked me in that my week long rental was a road trip from Texas to the mountains in Colorado. Yet they still put me in a vehicle in need of maintenance and break service! Bad wipers, low tread on tires, stains all over the rear seats, and under half oil life. The first day driving the vehicle I learned the wipers were bad while driving through a rain storm. I got no response after reporting this. On the second day of my rental I drove into Colorado and experienced some grinding in the breaks while coming down Raton Pass, this seemed like they were nearing a maintenance so I wasn't alarmed by it, although I still reported it and received no response. In the third day, the breaks nearly gave out driving the interstate pass i70 with my family in the vehicle. I had to change route and modify my plans due to this vehicle, and still, I didn't receive any response from enterprise until 5 days into my rental. I had to extend my rental a day due to this vehicle being unsafe to drive through mountain passes. Upon returning, I arrived at 6:01pm to the store with my return due at 6:00pm and no one was there, and enterprise expected me to pay for another day of rental for being 1min pass my return time. This has been the most embarrassing and frustrating rental I've ever had and I will never rent from enterprise again! read more

Hello, I would like to start by saying this has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have had in my lifetime dealing with your organization. Starting yesterday, Friday 01/10, I began calling you all because I was experiencing mechanical issues with the rental vehicle I was provided and was unable to reach the branch after multiple attempts. In addition, I was trying to make sure my rental was extended as my car is still in the body shop. I coordinated to have the vehicle towed to my home and began calling the branch early today, Saturday 01/11/25 for help and after an hour on hold with no one picking up, I googled Enterprise information who got me on the line with customer service who transferred me to roadside assistance. After speaking to a very curt offshore agent, a tow truck was dispatched to pick up the vehicle, I asked if a vehicle could be brought out to my home location, as I have terminal cancer and was advised that "I either Uber to the airport for a car or there was nothing they could do for me". I had to load up a small child and my medical equipment in a Uber for a 30 mile ride to the airport, all though I am immunocompromised and transporting medical pumps and tubes because no one could bring a vehicle to me. On my way home I realized I did not have my garage opener and would be unable to get into my home, I called multiple times and was advised my information was escalated for immediate action and someone from management would contact me. It is now 10 pm in the evening and I have received no call or assistance. I am locked out of my home unable to access my medication or ability to charge my pump's etc and on my way to a hospital at this time because after being sent to the service center only to find it pitch black and closed I am experiencing a medical episode. I will be filing a formal complaint with the office of the attorney general consumer affairs division due to this abysmal failure of service. Would have been zero stars but the staff will do what they can and went beyond. Seems like their corporate office is out of touch with the local shops, putting them in these situations which is unfair to the staff and customers. read more

The reviews I saw were not great but this location was right next to repair facility so I went with it. I am so glad I did. I rent a LOT of vehicles due to work travels and this place was as good as any location I've been too. Amanda helped me and was very professional, efficient, and just a pleasant and nice person. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The car was clean and ready to go. No problems what so ever so I highly recommend using them. read more

This is how the work flow goes. Reservation was done through insurance. We call, yes we have it, but no vehicles today maybe tomorrow. Called today and Mr. Willie said sorry your reservation is at a different location. Informed him that home is closer to his location, yea but where your car is located. No accommodation, even if initial registration was at there location. Just bad service with no solutions. read more

after 5 months my vehicle is done at the shop and I finally get to turn in my rental. And after 3700+ paid I get charged an additional fee because of the poor customer service from Willis. Have never rented a car more than a week much less five months so when I go to turn in rental vehicle and Willis tells me "oh you're supposed to have your car for another 182 days" I knew we were going to have issues. Amanda the manager at this location who I was doing business with up until this point is fabulous and I am sad she was not there when I turned in rental vehicle because I feel like all of this could have been avoided unfortunately I had to work with Willis. After 45 minutes of Willis telling me I made payments, I didn't make payments, "I know the terminology may be hard to understand" the area manager is called. Willis does not let me speak to the area manager does not give me the area manager's contact information and tells me that the area manager will be contacting me to work out my account and of course I never got a call back. im am a patient and understanding person but this experience was terrible for myself, my husband and my 1 year old. read more

I almost let the 2.5 star rating of this place keep me from renting a car from here but I'm glad I didn't. I gave them a call and told them I needed to rent a vehicle for three days. The office is clean, their people were very nice and very professional. I got a 2019 Nissan Altima that was very clean inside and out. I walked around the vehicle with the rental lady to check for dents and scratches, she and I checked the trunk, the interior, gas gauge, everything. This is for your protection. If you see something point it out and they'll make note of it. I thought I might need to keep the car an additional day and called them up, once again, no problems. I ended up taking the car back as originally planned and there were absolutely no issues. Once again they inspected the car bumper to bumper. This is for their protection and once they were done, asked me if they could give me a ride to my destination. I forgot to mention that when I inquired about renting a vehicle they offered to come pick me up. I will definitely rent from this location again should the need arise. read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars even after they tried scamming me into a cheaper car than what the insurance was going to pay for. I called them after I realized I received a POS from them and they corrected the issue, giving me a car that was more up to BASIC standards. Walking in to this location we were expecting to get the car at the reserved time, but the car wasn't even there at the time it was reserved for and then when it arrived we had to wait for them to clean it. I'd say we were very patient even though we had places to be. Well that's only the start of it. They are horrible and they will try to screw you over...No, I take that back, they will screw you over. They are dishonest people. They take way too long to make a reservation. Long story short, had an issue with the first car and the second wasn't any better. Just don't rent from this location. I would not recommend renting cars here. They brought out a car soaking wet and said it was without damage. When I returned the car less than 24 hours later they tried to hold me responsible for loose bumpers, dents surrounding the car and a puncture in the bumper.so ridiculous. I was barked at immediately by an employee to put a mask on. They also didn't have my pre paid gas option recorded properly and that had to be corrected before I could leave. We have only tried one another car rental place and definitely was not satisfied. Weston has been our go to guy since the beginning and always has great customer service. He always makes it possible to rent us what we need to accommodate long road trips or just weekend in town drives. We have never dealt with any issues. We have recently bought a new car from Enterprise Car Sales in Boerne thanks to his recommendation but still intend to use this location for future rentals. read more

This was my first rental and it could not have been any better (: They asked what kind of vehicle I wanted and I said anything as long as I don't have to pay extra (since my insurance was paying for it). The guy, which I wish I remember his name, reached into a bin of keys and told me it would be a moment. Turns out, the car he let me rent was brand new 2013 leather, seat warmers, satellite radio, oh my goodness awesome. I am so thankful and hope the amazing customer service is kept to. Wow, after helping us get into a car while ours was being repaired, they put unauthorized charges on our credit card. Told us to contact the insurance company, which we did. The insurance company stated that they have never seen an invoice like this. Yes, had to get my Credit Company to file a claim against this Rental Car Company for unauthorized charges of $477.15 - waiting on claim to run its course. The manager who set all of this up conveniently left for another store and couldn't be contacted to verify our story. We love to use the auto repair business next to these locations, but my hope is that Service King rethinks their relationship with Enterprise after our complaint! Enterprise I rented a car from your Universal City Texas location and it was the worst experience I ever had. I have been a loyal renter and this should have never happen. I will now take my business to another company. 1st problem was they had no rental cars for the loyal customers or anyone else. I made my reservation well in advance and arrived to pick up my car and waited 25 minutes to be help due to only one person working in the office on a holiday weekend. 2 they did not have any cars available, 3 it took 4 hours for the company to bring me a car therefore I was four hours late to arriving to my destination. I was also repeatly lied to about how long it would take for the car to arrive at my home so a rental pick time scheduled for 11:15am did not arrive to 3:20pm and the SUV arrive with a 1/4 tank of gas for a 6 hour trip I had to stop and put gas in the car. If I left on time I would have been able to the funeral wake that evening instead I missed the wake. This was an awful experience. read more

Lets just start off with it was one of those Mondays where everything is not going right and it starts to get worse. Truck breaks down on base and we have to get the tow truck sponsored before they can tow it to the repair shop. On top of that the Mechanic tells us it's going to be an outrageous bill. I get the mechanic to drop us off at Enterprise off Pat Booker Rd. Friendly staff give the general run down start to pay with my major credit card and it asks for a pin #. Who remembers their credit card pin # most people just sign correct? So there are other rules that are referenced to me if I had to pay with a debt card blah blah blah...To make a long story short Mr. Brandon James (branch Manager) steps in and takes over and basically manipulates that touch screen to make the charge and we are in business. This is what it means for customer service, help the customer as best you can in order for both parties to be satisfied. This man is going to go places, Enterprise Corp needs to give him a raise. One star is too much. My daughter and boyfriend rented a car here. It was their first rental experience and the man doing the rental knew it and took advantage of them. Both my daughter and boyfriend have their own car insurance, but through different agencies. The rental guy told them because they didn't both have insurance from same company, a $2000 hold would go on the credit card. My daughter said no. He then told them the only way they could get the car was to buy the supplemental insurance, which they knew they didn't need, but they bought it anyway because they needed the car. When my husband called and complained, the assistant manager said the insurance could be taken off the rental but she would have to return to the enterprise location at Universal City to do it, obviously she saw it was a one way rental and they were well on their way to San Diego by then, so they couldn't waste a whole day back-tracking. Car rental agencies have a bad reputation, and this place certainly contributed to that. read more
