Our daughter had an uninsured person crashed into her on the freeway and totaled her car. She initially had a rental from Enterprise. Eddie called her up to let her know that Enterprise sold cars as well as rented them. We went over and checked out a few, but none met our daughter's criteria for a new car. Eddie didn't stop there. He listened (yes quite a novel thing sometimes these days) and figured out what car she really wanted. He called her back when he found what her "ideal" car was. At no time did we feel any sales pressure, just Eddie trying to fulfill our quest for a new car. She did get the car he found at a very fair price. I checked other dealerships that had similar cars, and this beat them. And then the process for purchasing the car began. Eddie worked to secure the best financing he could for her. I was very shocked at how easy Eddie made the whole process go down. In all the years I have been purchasing cars, this was the easiest one I've witnessed. I have to mention too, that the guys there worked as a team in getting her the car and making sure she was happy with the process. Bravo to you Eddie. My husband called and she answered the phone and had to tell her that we know the store was closing but I was in an Uber trying to get there as fast as possible. Our truck had died and all we had was this last opportunity to get a rental while getting our truck towed to the dealership. I have things to say here. First of all the General Manager seems very nice. Also, during my encounter with them everyone was very professional. My issues lie within the driver that came to pick me up and the General Managers professional choices to keep him in that position. * They were supposed to contact me to send the driver. They never did. * I contacted them to find out when the driver would arrive. They told me he was on his way.. He never showed up. * Waited longer for him to show up. I called again 20 minutes later. * Turns out the driver was lost. They never contacted me to let me know. * Also turns out the driver does not know how to use GPS. And refuses to be taught how to use it. Before he picks people up they have to print out directions for him. over and over.... Presumably while their customers suffer. As a business person who was made an hour late and lost money because of this AVOIDABLE problem, I suggested that the General Manager fire him from that position. Somehow this offended the Manager.. and he acted as if I was speaking to this driver that I have never met. It was weird.. so when I tried to record this prospective the Manager walked away. Which I will not fault him for. They did give me a 30% discount and paid for my Lyft ride to, and from, the location. So they were honorable and took care of me financially for my troubles. For this reason I gave them 3 stars instead of one. However, they are clearly making bad business choices which causes me to wonder what other issues could arise from that. Good car, but negative drop off experience. I was told my car was ready on Saturday at Service King body shop, so I need to pick it up and return Durango. Since Enterprise renting location was closed, I called Enterprise central line and told them I needed to return Durango and needed ride to body shop. They told me to go to alternate location on I-35, half hour from my house and I could return vehicle and get ride to body shop. I took it there and there were only two reps and about 15 people in very slow moving line. Waited 45 minutes to return car, only to find out they had no one working on weekend to drop me off. She asked me where car was, and rep said I could return car at Service King. Now they tell me that! Service King is only 5 minutes from my house! read more

Was rear-ended at the fault of a USAA insured party, minutes after arranging where they covered rentals, an employee from Enterprise called me to ask when I'd like to pick up a car and if I needed a ride or needed any specifics for them to prepare for. The day I dropped off my car for repairs an Enterprise driver was there within five minutes to take me to this location where I submitted my deposit, signed all forms, and I was in my temporary car within ten minutes. Staff was helpful and efficient, when insurance submitted a form that they would not pay for one additional day (before contacting me smh) one of the employees contacted me immediately to make sure I was aware and advice that I contact insurance to ask for an extension. Picked up a vehicle Sunday and the Man whom I was told by a lady that he was the site manger was a get your car and leave type guy; without a walk around. The lady whom I turned the car in to was very courtesy. An employee wearing a black jacket was not customer oriented after I mentioned the cost was expensive (won't go into any other details). I had to switch around my reservation last minute and the woman at the front entrance desk helped me with no issue, she was so patient and understanding. I Honestly wanted to give it lesser than 2 stars but there were a few positives and hence the 2 stars. But honestly, the level of professionalism exhibited here leaves a lot to be desired. Let's start off with the good things. Stacey at this location was very helpful and sweet. Right around the pick up time, she called twice and explained the delay. She also advised that the phones are getting shut off at 6Pm and the driver is 6 mins out. Moving on, this is a fairly large location with several cars. So there is always flexibility to switch cars Now, as far as the bad things, some of the front desk staff are pretty unprofessional. I have rented cars for my work numerous times. Never have i faced a situation like this. First they examine my insurance and call my insurance and verify coverage even after i explained that they were fully covered. They are also mildly annoyed and shaking their head that i have a 1000$ deductible. I am unsure how this is any of their business how much of a deductible i have. They also look at my company insurance (A company of about 3000 people and a company that makes living off of frequent travelling) and scoff at it. They say they have never seen something like that and they will not accept it. Bear in mind, the card clearly states " Rental providers call number 1-800-xxx-xxxx to verify coverage. How intuitive do you have to be to not do that. ? Laura, the agent who assisted me could only be explained as distracted and disrespectful. Now i also noticed another attendant talking to an elderly client while chewing snacks loudly. Like she is literally popping peanuts or something in her mouth, chewing it, and talking to a client like it is her home office. Geeze. I am not sure if any of these people were actually trained in some for of proper etiquette. Moving on, laura offers me a car and i ask for a different one. I am enterprise plus so i am kind of used to asking for something different. She suggests an alternative vehicle and then she brings out a car scratched and dinged at 4 different spots. She could have simply said "no we do not have another one". How many people driving customers around would want to have a dinged up car ? i ask for a nicer car and am willing to pay the upgrade fee and this is what i get. SMH is all i could think of. And now, laura asks if i want to take the insurance and i politely decline. She aggravated the heck out of me by saying "Well are you sure you want to pay 1000$ instead of this 30$ odd$ of insurance". First off, why are you assuming that i am going to crash the car. Second Why did you go through the process of verifying my coverage for 30 minutes if all you wanted to do was offer me alternative insurance ? Third, it is my business to determine what i want to pay- there is no need of shaking your head , rolling your eyes and saying "okayyyyy".This is beyond unacceptable as well as a waste of time. Upon checking me in the front desk lady says "Oh, your reservation was for a different location." I am thinking to myself - "Um, then why did YOUR driver pick me up and then drop me off here. Shouldn't he have KNOWN the CORRECT location?" --- I needed/reserved a large SUV, I have 5 kids, 4 in car seats. Lady says "Oh, well we don't have a large SUV, but this car will do. You can make it work." I thought to myself - WOW really! Finally manager steps in and gives me a mini-van only after I say this is taking way too long and I am a nursing mother and have to get back to my baby soon. Not very good customer service. This place is wonderful!! Yamel was so great! I was so lost this morning. Called at 1030 and they came to get me at home around 11. They were so calm and kind. We got back to the office and I forgot my wallet He smiled and said not a problem let's go get it. He took me back home to get my DL. Did you know that most people who work at this location have their BA?????? I've always only rented from enterprise, but after this experience and they way they have treated my wife and I, we are now big fans of HERTZ rentals! We rent cars often and have never been treated more like just a "number" anywhere in the world. Really disappointed with Enterprise service! Received rental car due to accident through GEICO, told car would be waiting at 9:30 am but didn't get car until 10:40 am with a quarter tank of gas (not an issue) because "it's been crazy." Only needed the rental for 3 days, returned car and reported issue with fuel gauge that required me to fuel vehicle every time I took a trip. Left a note for someone to call me since there was no Enterprise representative available...that was 4 and a half days ago...REALLY? Average company at best...even worse now! read more

I had great service at this office. I was greeted and helped quickly and pleasantly. The car size I reserved was not available yet so they upgraded me to the next size, free of charge. Then when that upgrade didn't have a CD player, which was a must for my road trip, she quickly found one that did have one. When I returned my rental, they were swamped, due to a recent hail storm, but again they were quick and pleasant. My only complaint, and the reason for the 4 star rating, is that even though they have no smoking decals on the car, it had very obviously been smoked in and I had to travel with that smell, which bothers my allergies. read more

To whom it may concern: I am a recent customer and while I am not totally unhappy with the service I received I think things should be noticed and seen. I inquired about renting a Dodge Durango or something similar (like a Ford Explorer) I needed that size of vehicle. Spoke with a young lady and was given a quote my time in the vehicle will be from 2/28/15 - 3/07/15. I asked did you offer those size vehicles (size was important) Was told yes and mentioned other vehicles. I said again would you be able to get me something like this or similar? once again told "yes". Great made a reservation. Called 2 days before said date confirming I had things in place. An asked if I could possibly move up the date to the 3/6/15 to pick up? Moving the time was really a question to see if I did what would happen an if I could. Nevertheless I arrived to pick up at the original date and time of 3/7/15 at 9am. Was offered a Jeep Compass as my rental. No happy at all. That was the vehicle held for me. Then told well you were suppose to pick up the day before. I say no I called asking questions. An they told me well we had a Chevy Equinox for you but sent it to the 281 HWY store. Which also wasn't anything close to what I asked about as far as size. The young lady offered a couple other vehicles there but nothing really worked. She tired calling around as well but little to no luck. Another young lady stepped in named Danielle an began to take over the process. Offered a Mazda CX-5 (too small) An a couple minivans. I didn't want a van. I then asked how does it go that I reserved a standard SUV and none are here? Because what was offered from the start was a mid sized suv. She replied well your reservation was for yesterday but I never received a courtesy call or even a missed appt call. An you had a vehicle supposedly waiting for me today. As time went on I'd been there a hour and with my 5month old daughter who wasn't happy either. She suggested I take a vehicle and trade it later? I said could I? Yes that won't be a issue. I asked if I could receive that in writing. or note my account. I sale vehicles an believe promises should be in writing. She said she couldn't but rest a sure you can trade it "JUST SAY YOU HEARD A NOISE OR SOMETHINGS WRONG WITH IT". I replied you want me to lie? There was 4-5 other customers in the store at this time. She replied " No but you can say you heard a ticking noise and they'll get you into something different." I needed a vehicle and needed to reach Harrisburg PA by Sunday night so I took a minivan Toyota Sienna. At first look it was fine. no dings or anything like that few spots on seats but ok. I signed and left when I made it home and stowed the rear seat it was dirty candy and trash below those. An it did smell of smoke. When it came time to trade the vehicle I was in Clinton Township Monday afternoon (3/2/2015) An called a couple locations the first said no and they didn't have anything. The second did the same which I replied to the guy so no one can help me.... He said no I can but it would be a smaller car. Not a SUV I told him I was open since I no longer needed the space to travel. He asked when could I come and to see ask for him when I did. I drove straight there and within 20mins I'd left in a Ford Focus. The service there was great they met e with a smile and never made it seem as if it was a problem to do so. I ask that these 2 folks receive notice for their service. Dave McKee and Jaclyn Steiner. They made a situation with the company much better. On 3/7/2015 I returned the vehicle. I asked was there a difference in rate because of the 2 different vehicles. 1 van and 1 smaller car. Was told no because I booked with my work discount of $35 a day (which they said for a standard SUV is low and should be $65-$70 a day) Which I kind of feel that wasn't good business practices With all that happened but I won't fuss. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience and received a phone call survey which only asked 5 questions and was told someone would call me in a few days never got the call. I just dropped off the vehicle and i have never written a review in anything but i was very disappointed in the lack of information I was given which were more like lies to me. I rented here due to maintenance issues with my Jeep. The young lady that attended me informed me wrong with the charges. My dealership paid for the rental which came out to be 35.00 something a day for 2 days so they got that right. When i had signed for the insurance she didn't inform me that the second box was a life insurance if death occurs in an accident which was an extra 3 dollars a day. I called back and told her i didn't want that service and it wasn't explained to me luckily I read everything. Also in my copy it wasn't printed nor did she explain verbally that they charged $10/day for young drivers. Then when i returned the vehicle, she said I was gonna be charged due to me being under 25 years of age and i told her "you didn't tell me that" and she replied that "yes i did at the end" so i asked her "can you please show me where i signed for that or where it is printed on my copy" and she said "it doesn't show but what i can do is remove one day so that you can just pay $10" and i said "no this is going by your word and i need written proof so please show me where it says that young drivers under 25 get charged 10/day" so she calls up a young man and he says "well i don't know why it didn't show up in your copy but we will give you those $20 back" they printed me out 2 receipts, one which was the bad one with all their mistakes and they were quick to take that receipt away from me where they were adding those charges and i asked for it back in case of any other mistakes. i may be under 25 but i'm not dumb enough to not go back and read! -____- other than that the car was beautiful clean and it was very fast to get the car but that was due to my dealership who did most of the paperwork i suppose. always take pictures or a video of the vehicle before you leave! and don't be fooled if you're under 25 years of age ;-) read more

Enterprise WAS my favorite car rental place until I moved to Texas. I give them 3 stars because of the last two business rentals I had. I work for a major corporation which pays for my rentals. With the first rental I was supposed to be picked up and had to call when they didn't show. They were using my old address in the state I moved from. Enterprise arrived quickly after I called because they hadn't shown up. I was given a Jeep in which the air stopped working less than half way back at the end of my business trip. It was over 90 degrees out. I told the agent and received no discount on the rental. On the second (and probable last) rental, Enterprise AGAIN was using my previous address as a pickup location though I made sure when I made the reservation that they had my current address. So, not only do I hit the road a few minutes late, they give me a vehicle with less than one-quarter tank of gas! The excellent attitudes of the agents are the only reason I dont give 2 stars. Enterprise, you get one more chance to get it right, before I move on to another agency my corporation approves of. read more

The cars have for the most part been exceptional except for my last rental which had a huge burn hole on the passenger seat and the car reeked of cigar smoke. Isn't there a nonsmoking policy??? I give Enterprise 5 stars for the service of their staff. The office I rented at was very busy and they were renting cars as soon as they came in. They took the time to tell me that and to make sure I was picked up and at their location in time to get a car before closing. When I returned the car, it was explained to me that they had an issue with previous paperwork on my car and made sure my needs were taken care off even when they could not close out the account right that minute. The people who picked me up and then took me back home were open and pleasant. It is easy to give great service when everything is working, the staff at Enterprise gave great service for everyone who was there even when they were very busy and dealing with technical difficulties. read more

This was the BEST customer service I have ever received both from a car rental company and an insurance company.
