I never thought I would give a rental car company five stars, but this was an incredibly low hassle experience. My car was totaled so my insurance sent me to Enterprise for a rental. I walked in, picked up a rental which was clean, practical, and fuel efficient. Two weeks later I dropped it off and it was done - billing straight through insurance. Tip: if you have a reservation and receive a confirmation email: IT IS NOT A GUARANTEED CAR. All bad from the start when I made a reservation early and they tried to get me to call closer to the date needed. NOPE! Horrible experience and no accountability taken. I was rear ended, surprise! It's Seattle. Reserved a rental through Enterprise one month ahead. Maybe extra for some people, but because of the shortage plus I'm a planner, this usually turns out better than last minute people. I received a confirmation email with a code and the type of car and thought I was good to go. Morning of, I call this location to confirm they're picking me up or if I need to go get the car to get mine repaired. They said they don't have a reservation for me. They put me on hold and came back saying they or the insurance company needed to confirm again--the email should have been enough. Oh, and they are out of cars. They said they are booked out the whole week but that "I" "should call around and see if other locations have availability". This should be their responsibility for good customer service. No surprise, everyone on the south end is sold out of cars too. I called the insurance company trying to get them to find another company, not much help there. Enterprise corporate, or oversees, was useless too. I used to rent enterprise for my travel but with this experience I will go Anywhere else. read more

Definitely would rate ZERO stars, if available! We were visiting Seattle and our rental car broke down in February 2024. We called Enterprise's help line for assistance with the rental during our trip and were told a tow truck would be dispatched to pick-up the car and a ride share would be provided to take us to the nearest Enterprise location to get a replacement vehicle. When we contacted THIS location (on 35th Ave), we were told that it was OUR problem to find a replacement car. The woman (Jen) who answered the phone said she was the only one there, had no cars and refused to help us! She was extremely rude and told us to go to another location or SEA airport to get a car. We called another location (downtown) and spoke with a very helpful employee, who stated it is policy for Enterprise to provide another rental in our case. Ryan was apologetic and escalated our issue to a regional manager for resolution. The 35th Ave location finally sent an employee to pick us up to another location to finally get a replacement vehicle. The woman who gave us the car was very rude and said that she knows all about our situation and that she was ready for us. We finally got a replacement vehicle (not AWD, as we had rented and wanted). We have never had a problem with Enterprise before and were disappointed in the lack of customer service at this location. We wasted a total of 4 hours for this problem to be resolved. We do NOT recommend using the location on 35th Ave, as they provided NO customer service when we were stranded with a broken down rental car. read more

I've had to rent from this location several times and it's always been easy/peasy, the very nice young man Devin has always been super nice and accommodating he is truly an asset to not only this location but to Enterprise as a whole, if I ever have to rent a car again it will be with Enterprise and Devin. read more

Itzel was the only manager in store and was assisting another customer onsite so she took down my number and said she would give me a call back. She called me right back and was super friendly and helpful. When I picked up my car the next day Itzel was there, and remembered me from our call the day before. Life in West Seattle has gotten tougher, and after my car was stolen, even more so. That's where West Seattle's enterprise rent-a-car came in. They may have a slim selection at the moment, due to resons beyond me. However, Terrance made the rental process painless. Update! Upon return of the car we expressed our displeasure with the condition of the vehicle. They redeemed themselves and made it right. This shows how great their service is, looks like someone just dropped the ball somewhere and let a dirty car out for rent. Service and prices were great but our car was FILTHY. I wondered why this particular ERAC got five stars while the others were mostly three stars. Plus, when does ANY car rental place get more than 2 or 3 stars? People really dislike the experience, myself included. Anywho, during my first trip to the West Seattle Enterprise location, I was helped by Johnathan. Great guy. Some people just have a knack for human interaction, and this guy has it. He really seems to genuinely care, which is something you need in a customer facing role. I'm basically writing this review because of the quality treatment I received by Johnathan. The rest of the staff was also top notch, but John had something extra. I rented a car from Enterprise twice in the past month, and now will remember not to choose them again! In Cleveland, it took just under an hour from when I started waiting for the shuttle until I was driving away in a car -- just about the same amount of time it took me to actually fly to Cleveland from NY. Though I had rented online, I still had to wait in line (15 min) at the counter. There was a machine, but it didn't work. I had requested a standard car, but there were none cars available and they had to find one (5+ min). As I was leaving the airport, the check engine light came on so I had to go back. Then had to find another car. Finally, as he was finishing the rental, his system crashed and he had to restart (10+ min). In LA, the process was smoother. But every customer has to be met by a rep, and led to a car. There were about 20 people waiting in line when I arrived. I guess they think it gives a personal touch, but it totally slowed us down and didn't seem to add any value. On the return, we waited for 17 min (!!!) for a shuttle bus to take us back to the airport. On the plus side, the employees were very friendly. read more

I tried to rent the car on the same day from Enterprise.com using my points. For over 4 years I have used the Enterprise on SW 35th Ave in West Seattle. The Manager there has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. They called shortly after my reservations said it would be late that day for a rental I said to try Georgetown, 5 miles away and they did not. Ultimately they REFUSED to honor my rental after ME calling 3 different times for updates. That manager is a BAD BAD representative for Enterprise. The manager at Georgetown however... his name is Sinite? He on the other hand is a true customer service example for Enterprise he honored my rental, I just had to figure out a way to get there. Since the mgr. at the SW 35th store has been there my desire to rent with Enterprise has diminished. She created problems for my rental in July 2020. I have never in 4+ years ever had any issues with SW 35th location, the team in the past have been 5* but since last summer Enterprise is really failing with the team at that location. I miss Audrey, Emily, Alyssa, Sean, Oscar and the many others I have worked with over the years with my 5-9 rentals a year history. I am patiently waiting for the day the current manager is fired or moved out of that store and becomes someone else's problem. Any referrals I give will be to work with any other location than the one on SW 35th Ave in West Seattle. Georgetown is close but not in my "pick-up" area but they have always been awesome along with Burien and the Airport locations. read more

When my insurance set up my rental car with this facility, I immediately received a call from them afterwards and informed me that I can stopby anytime. And I thought that was great. Since I was not ready. The following day they called me back just to check if was ready and also asked me type of car do I want to drive and told them I need a full size. They were honest and told me that its not available til 5pm and they only have Ford 150 and SUVs. When I arrived a little after 5, I saw the a car that I want. I asked the rep if its available, she check it right away and she came and handed me the keys. Wow, what a service and they made you comfortable at the same. read more

We returned our Dodge Mini van this morning 9/1/18. We had the van for a week and took a road trip to California. When my boyfriend went to return the van the associate accused him of smoking in the vehicle. He told him the van smelled of marijuana smoke and that he saw ashes. He said a second associate had agreed with him the van smelled of smoke. This is a false accusation because we do not smoke and had our three children under the age of 12 with us. I personally cleaned, wiped down with disinfectant wipes and swept out the entire van before returning it. At no point during the week were we around any smoke besides the smoke from the wildfires we drove thru in Shasta, California. I don't know if this is an attempt to get more money for the rental but I am highly offended by the accusations. We paid nearly $500 for the rental and we are frequent customers. We travel for work and rent vehicles thru out the year in various locations. We will not be renting from this location again.... read more

I have been waiting for a regional manager for the West Seattle Branch to call me back regarding a discrepancy (an unknown fee from 2007?!) that was discovered at the Georgetown Branch. I was given a phone number to an AUTOMATED system from someone at the Georgetown location and that I would be "reimbursed by my insurance." pssssh, sure. So I just called customer service directly - talked to a rep, then was escalated to another rep thru email. I replied back as a confirmation..."thanks, let me know if you need any further info." Hoping for a prompt response... I wait a few more days - day 6 called again, escalated again, and I email again to get a status update. I hate to be THAT customer, but the turnaround time is ridiculous and the issue with the "unpaid fee" is baffling! Anyway, I am now using social media as a secondary call for help. Yelp, first.
