This location saved our butts this week. On Wednesday, my husband's car was acting weird - normally not an issue because we'd have mine to use, but mine unfortunately conked out on Saturday. He needed to get to work so I jumped on Costco Travel and booked a car at the Enterprise closer to us, in Northwestern, but the location immediately called me and said they were out of Standard SUVs (what I had booked). After that, I started calling before booking, and I finally talked to a general Enterprise number that said this location had a SUV (my husband is 6'4", hence why we need that) so I booked it online and had my parents drop me off here. They technically only had an Intermediate SUV for us, the Nissan Rogue, but because of that they took about $60 off the weekly rate. We ended up only needing the car Wednesday through today (Saturday) and there's no penalty to return it early. I learned earlier in the week that if you book a weekly rate, the last two days in it are basically like free, which was interesting. You DO need to return it by the time you checked it out, but there's a one-hour grace period - i.e., I left the location around 11am on Wed. and brought it back around 11:30am today and it was fine. Everyone was very nice at this location too, especially Tyler, who chatted with my dad a bit, and Dylan, who helped us move my baby's car seat into the rental. As for the rental itself, it was a Nissan Rogue, and very nice, although a bit small (I'm a larger lady, too) width-wise for me, in the drivers seat. It did have adaptive cruise control, which was fun, and a nice touchscreen. Overall based on this experience I would definitely return to this location. read more

There was a young lady that gave me a ride her name is Kiara she was very nice and respectful we talked the whole way as she took me to pick up my car. I usually don't rent with enterprise but thanks to her all of that going to change I even told my job and we will be moving our business needs over to enterprise. She is very nice well spoken has a wonderful smile and made me feel like the customer they have. I normally don't post reviews, but what happened to me at the Enterprise Southfield location on December 1, 2025, needs to be documented. This wasn't just bad customer service it was humiliating, hostile, and completely unprofessional. I arrived at 8:00 AM with a confirmed reservation for later that day. I simply needed to clarify a small balance. Instead, the assistant manager, Gordon McLeod, loudly announced in front of customers and employees that I owed $135.20, which I calmly agreed to handle. Then he loudly claimed that I owed $12,000, which was absolutely false. When I asked for the Damage Recovery Unit's number, he pretended he couldn't find it. I called myself. They confirmed immediately that I owe nothing and that I am fully cleared by Enterprise's Risk Department and Do-Not-Rent Department to rent at ANY location. Even after I was fully cleared by Enterprise's own departments, Gordon still refused to rent to me, claimed I was banned for six months, and the on-duty managers backed him up. They acted like they were trying to provoke me, speaking loudly, staring at me, and crowding around me as if I was being hostile -- even though I never raised my voice or acted disrespectfully. It felt retaliatory. It felt discriminatory. It felt like they had already decided how they wanted to treat me, regardless of the facts. I left embarrassed and disappointed. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this particular location. As a long-time, loyal Enterprise customer and Platinum Member, I shouldn't be treated like a problem or a burden. Immediately after leaving, I went to the Farmington Hills Enterprise, where the service was the complete opposite professional, respectful, and actually helpful. That showed me the issue is NOT Enterprise as a whole. It is specifically this branch and its management culture. Enterprise Corporate needs to investigate this location. What happened here is unacceptable and no customer should experience it. read more

Highly recommend! Got picked up from drakes collision by the nice enterprise driver, he was friendly and accommodating. Ken, the agent was very patient with me and gave me lots of options to make sure I was happy about my rental. Kept it for 2 more weeks than the reservation, didn't keep in contact with enterprise, spoke to my collision and they said I was fine and they contacted them for me and told me I had no worries. Come drop off day, Ken greeted me and his co worker was able to inspect and cash me out, I thought I was gonna get charged extra but luckily because of the great communication about my repair being delayed, appreciate the honest transaction. Driver was waiting upon my entrance, he was very patient & kind! Both times I came here it was really busy and everyone looked happy and was getting taken care of, obviously be prepared to wait. Horrible they were upset i didnt sign another contract due to some personal issues, but proceeded to take $4000 out of my account then called the police and said I stole the car the day they took another $500 out of my account that day. If i didn't sign a contract why did you think you had access to my card that same time frame. To be called a thief at 42 years old and you took $4000 out of my account is horrific. Our normal car was in the shop at a local dealer. The dealer referred me to this enterprise. Josh, Eric, and Tony have all been a pleasure to work with. They have listened to me well and provided the vehicle that my family needs. Only a couple issues. The first time I called this location, a lady said that she would help and that I was all set. She hung up before I could ask if someone was coming to pick me up. Turns out I was talking to someone at the nationwide level, not at this location. If you call this location, press * to talk to an actual person at this location. The other issue we had was that one of the rental cars smelled like cigarette smoke. I used baking soda to lessen the smell, but ultimately I went back to get a different vehicle -- which was an amazing brand new 2022 vehicle that smells new and has leather seats. read more

I have NO issue with this location. But I needed for this to be read by someone in charge!!! They always treat me with kindness and respect at this location, and if I rent from Enterprise again, it'll be from here for sure. MY issue is with Enterprise itself. I have spent THOUSANDS this year in rentals beginning in January when my car was stolen and I rented from you guys (Enterprise) for two months. There are also a couple of other rentals as well. When I booked my second month, the associate at the counter suggested I join the rewards program as it would really benefit me with the amount of rentals I was having. He told me that my rental I was just ending would count as well. I was thrilled. A month ago, I was involved in a car wreck and my car was in the shop. Naturally, I chose Enterprise for my rental. Imagine my surprise when I find my $1200 rental has not been credited to the reward plan. I called the 800 number and was immediately told by the associate that you only have six months to add missing points. THIS would make perfect sense had I been the one requesting missing points. However, I was assured they would be there. The associate on the phone made it clear that Enterprise would do nothing about it. Now, I have been an Enterprise customer for years and this is a $1200 rental that would have counted for quite a few points. I wish I hadn't joined the stupid thing now, and frankly I am not sure I will rent from Enterprise again. I don't think it is fair that I get penalized for something that was not my fault. #NotHappy read more

Wish I could give zero stars! Rental car wreaked of MARIJUANA with a very, very heavy unbearable perfume odor. It was so strong we rode with the windows down all weekend for our move in Chicago. My mother asked for one day off for the terrible smell and the manager only gave her $50. Stop giving customers cars that you know wreak of weed!! We are very loyal customers that rent very often going back and forth from Michigan to Chicago. I'll never return to this location again. Manager should have given us a full day off. Even the woman in line with us said they've given her a car that wreaked of MARIJUANA. Now you've lost a customer with your unprofessionalism. Extremely DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED. read more

I'm 21 so I had to pay extra for a rental. I believe it was about $14 extra per day. -That's fine because Hertz wanted to charge $28 extra per day. I only needed the car for Saturday and I would have liked to return it on Sunday. But nope, they're not open on Sundays. That was irritating. Another thing: The car I had reserved wasn't ready yet, they had to go somewhere and pick it up. The rep said to me I could upgrade for an extra $15. Now, why should I have to pay for the upgrade because YOU weren't ready? I told her I'll wait for the actual vehicle I reserved. The car was nice (2012 Focus) and no other problems besides the ones I mentioned before. When I returned the car they even dropped me off at my home which was nice. The parking lot is VERY cramped and I kind of hate that about that place. read more

ZERO STARS. Beware. The representatives at this agency will up-sell you on your car rental. Consistently telling me my rental is covered at 100% is deceiving,...only to find out my insurance covered my rental 100% at $30 a day. Asking for something comparable to your initial offering does not mean $17.57 above the covered price. It means equal and covered. Renting a vehicle for 31 days, while my car was being repaired cost me $544.76. It should have been ZERO. The contracts are obscure and on a small hand-held service tablet that you initial. The contract stated $16.36 per day. Upon the vehicle's return, I confronted the representative regarding the surprise fee, he was extremely rude and said I verbally agreed to pay extra. The Bottom Line is, however,.... I asked if the vehicle I was renting from you was covered, and you said 100%. In trying to resolve the matter (to get me to leave) he said he closed the contract out and would reach out to the accounting department. I have not heard back. I am still waiting..... This location has great customer service. Top notch! The reason I did not give a 5 star rating is the products, not the service. Allow me to explain.. within the 2 week period I had a replacement rental I had 2 different vehicles. The first one (Ford Expedition) had the oil light come on within the first few days and it had a chip in the windshield. The second (Lincoln MKX) has a chip in the windshield, scratches/dents under driver door caused by the seatbelt not retracting and getting stuck in the door when being closed, and also it was missing the rear wiper blade so it only scraped along the back window when it was activated. Scary that Enterprise doesn't repair their damage vehicles, not even the luxury ones. They just continue renting them. read more

I've gone to this location three times in the last three months and when Zach S. is working that day, it's a wonderful experience. He is always friendly, professional and ready to go over any and all details in the world of lease vehicles. He does his best to get me what I need, XM, comfy vehicle, etc...and it's most appreciated. The other staffers are good, but he shines! I did not give a full five because one trip did not have my reserved vehicle onsite and they had to drive me to the other location, a few miles up Telegraph. Do not rent any vehicle from this location. My family and I rented a 15 passenger van from this location, and when we went to go pickup the vehicle, it was covered in dents and other cosmetic damages. At this point, we had no other choice but to take this van because we were leaving for Florida in a few hours, and had no time to wait on another vehicle to be rented. So the representative, Sara Barr, did her "inspection" of the vehicle, marking all the problems that she could see. When she was almost done, my sister pointed out a problem with the hood cap of the back passenger tire she missed over. Few days later, we come back from Florida, and the same representative inspects the vehicle again, and notices a dent in the back of the vehicle. So she withholds the deposit on the vehicle, $250, and we get a call, just yesterday saying total damage to the back of the vehicle is $680, for a dent the size of a small hand. At this point, it is evident that they're trying their best to play games with my mother because she's a woman, that ends now. read more
