This is about my excellent experience renting a car from Enterprise Car Rental located at 5201 Auth Road in Camp Springs, Maryland. The Assistant Manager, Ashlee Tolson, along with the entire team are to be highly commended. My experience with Ashlee was truly the best I have ever had while renting a car. From start to finish, she made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her customer service was exceptional, and she treated me with courtesy, patience, and genuine care. What impressed me most was that Ashlee and the entire team, who were young adults, carried themselves with professionalism, kindness, and maturity. In a time when excellent customer service is rare, Ashlee proved that great service is still alive and well. I needed a rental because my vehicle was in the repair shop. Happily, Ashlee found a brand-new vehicle for me that had only 219 miles on the odometer. Additionally, upon my return of the rental, she arranged transportation for me to the repair shop to pick up my own vehicle. Thank you to Ashlee and the entire team for an outstanding experience. My partner booked a car at this location (Auth Road in Suitland) but asked me to pick it up. He added me to the rental so I could do that. When I got there I received nothing but attitude and rudeness so bad that I left and went down the road to Hertz. Josh, the man who was helping me told me I was not on the rez and that he wouldn't give me a car (this was after he already gave me crap about not having insurance papers). He said I'd have to start a new reservation but I didn't have the proper credit card with me. But even worse, his cell phone rings in the middle of it all. He picks it up and begins arguing with whomever he was talking to - sounded like his baby mama. I'm not sure but it was clearly a personal call and he's yelling. He stepped aside for a couple minutes. There was no one else at the counter to help. So, I left. And prior to the phone call when I asked Josh what his name is, he tells me real snotty-like, "Joshua, here's my card." Wow, just wow. read more

Happy Sunday! I wanted to share my experience with the Enterprise location in Camp Springs, Maryland, off Auth Road. I recently had a business trip and chose this location because it was convenient, and I'm happy to report I had a wonderful experience. The entire process was incredibly easy and efficient--I was in and out in no more than 10 minutes from the moment I walked in to the moment I drove off the lot. I did pre-register everything online, but my customer agent, Aaliyah, was fantastic. Aaliyah was very friendly, professional and made sure I had all the information I needed, answering every question I had. I will definitely be returning to this Enterprise for all my future car rental needs. Aaliyah even mentioned that Enterprise sells premium vehicles, which is great to know as I'm currently in the market for a new car and exploring my options. Overall, the service was wonderful, and I highly recommend this location. I will most definitely rent a vehicle here again. read more

Customer service and care enterprise at this location has rented out faulty vehicles that should not be rented. I my family and I have been renting from Enterprise for over 10yrs and have never received such horrible service until encountering this branch. From the assistant manager on up to Lvana, the area manager. We've spent thousands at this location alone and what appreciation do we get? Attitudes, faulty vehicles, miscommunication, Unprofessionalism and turned away from this jurisdiction as they claim we owe $$$, however they have access to the bank card and more so if this was true it could've gotten handled. This is completely unfathomable and mind boggling that this lack professionalism and communication is being encountered my another pg county business! They need to do better read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Suitland, Maryland

This location has the worst customer service ever. I went to pick up a car from there on November 30th. I had it for a couple of hours the smoke smell that they tried to hide became strong and gave me a headache along with the rear tire seemed to be low or car needed an alignment. I called this location back on December 1st and told them my issue, they stated for me to come in at 4:30pm that day to exchange the car. Once I got there no one wanted to acknowledge my call and they tried to say I may have called the wrong location. They proceeded to take the car and clean it and spray it AGAIN, which clearly didn't work the first time. After the back and forth they provided me with another car that I saw someone just return. This car is not safe to drive at all, there is a rattling noise coming from the rear of the car. When you go over a bump or railroad tracks the car fishtails and you have to hold on tight to the wheel. I have tried to get a replacement and no assistance whatsoever. I am loosing money and days with this issue as my insurance company is paying for this and I'm still out of a car. Whoever is the manager of this location needs to do a better job training their staff and techs need to be more honest with cleaning and fixing these cars. rented multiple cars from this locations, most recent visit was surprised they no longer offer pickup & drop off. I will say out of all rental car companies. I still prefer to rent from enterprise in general, however with the higher cost of rentals & lost values such as pickup & drop off, and vehicles having spare tires when they should definitely feels like a deal breaker to me read more

I rented a car for a couple of days. The experience was easy because of Terence Trent. He helped me and was respectful, pleasant, and polite. When I returned the car this morning, he was there. He was helping another customer so another rep took my keys to check me in but she was gone a long time. As soon as he wrapped up with the customer, he jumped in to expedite my checkout. While I was waiting I noticed that his card said "Management Trainee." He should have no problem moving up to Manager. I felt like he wanted me to have a good experience and was dedicated to that. The overall vibe of the location is professional. Someone will greet you when you come in. When I was picking the car up, another rep was trying to troubleshoot an issue with a customer, who was irate. She stayed calm. Everywhere a different rep was trying to troubleshoot or accommodate a customer. The only challenge I had and it is not this location's fault is that I needed the EZ pass transponder and they no longer offer it, only National airport does. But this location is convenient to where I live. read more

Excellent service here just make sure you call ahead to reserve a vehicle they picked me up at the repair center drove me to their office processed the transaction and had a car ready within 20 minutes only problem was it was a Nissan something or other point is I am 6'4" and weigh upwards of 300 lbs no way I could get in this car comfortably even with the seat all the way back my knees were still rubbing the steering wheel all i could do was get it home and park it just in case of emergency so I say even though the service was excellent the fact that I could not fit comfortably in the car they provided negated my experience still I recommend them return was as simple just drop the keys off at the repair center and you're done read more

Please remember to check the "roof" of the car and/or SUV when renting from this location. No one including myself checked the "roof" of the car. I have renting many cars in my 60 years and have never check to see if damage is on the "roof". When returning the rental car early because the engine light and other maintenance lights came on during my second day of rental, the customer service representative said that there was damage on the "roof". I disputed this because I nor the representative that walked me around the car checked it; however, I was told that maybe a dog or something climbed on top of it and cause the dent. The funny thing is that if I had parked in another location, no one would have noticed it and I bet that's what happened when I picked it up. This is a $500 mistake that I won't make again. Once you buy a car from this dealership they give you their butt to kiss. When I purchased my car from Enterprise in Camp Springs/Suitland I was unaware of the BS associated with the purchase. After 4 months of having my car the motors in my windows died and my engine began making noise. I purchased the car with 62k on the dash. Soon after discovering these issues I was informed that the employee who sold me the car incorrectly entered my information in the MVAs system. I purchased a Kia Optima and I was provided a temp registration and plates for a Honda CRV under someone else's name. Enterprise states that their unable to fix the windows because they are not under warranty. I'm currently unable to roll my windows up and I am unable to receive a registration or my permanent tags. I wish I never purchased my car from this shady dealership, the employees are incompetent, the inventory is sold at twice the Kelley Blue Book value with refurbished salvage quality. I beg you to look elsewhere. I would recommend Auto Giants in Temple Hills over this place. read more

Just save yourself the headache and don't rent from here. I had a reservation through my insurance. When I arrived they said it was no more cars and to come another day (3 days later). Such an inconvenience when your car is in the shop and you have things to do. When I came back they claim they didn't have the vehicle that my insurance covers so they gave me an "upgrade" at no charge which was a lame ass Nissan suv, it drove terrible. I then found out I was being charged for the "upgrade". I brung the car back asap and got the car that my insurance covers (Toyota Corolla). At this point this is my 3rd visit to the place. About 3 days after having that car the battery dies while I'm out and about. I called their roadside assistance and found out it's a $55 charge. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I'm just very dissatisfied with this place and won't rent from here again. read more

On 9/19/22 at 11:39am I called Enterprise at this location about a reservation my insurance provider completed. The rep informed me over the telephone that my reservation was set and asked when can I come in? I informed the rep at 4:00 and he stated that he will have me set. When I arrived at the store around 4:00pm the staff started acting weird. One guy looked up my reservation and then had someone else assist me. The first guy who was working with me for the first few seconds started looking confused. They were able to look up my reservation via telephone and started asking me the name of my auto insure and and my insurance policy number. I specifically asked the rep "Do you see my reservation in the system from my insurance?" The guy stated yes. And seconds later the 3rd guy came from The back to inform one of the guys that "they don't have any cars." I basically wasted my time and no one apologized or bother to offer me discount or anything from f*cking up on their end. They told me to come back, I will go somewhere else. This place NEVER answer their phone. The only time I speak to someone is when they call me. I have called numerous times and they do not answer. After waiting for almost 15 minutes for the past 5 - 6 times I have called; the automated voice says "the call cannot be transferred please try again later". I literally have to drive there to get an answer to a simple question. Really?? When I did speak to someone, the excuse I got is that we are busy. I don't remember this place lacking this much in customer service in the past, as it is now. No matter what time I call no one answers and there is no way to leave a message. Who is the manager here? There needs to be a change. This is ridiculous. Also, the vehicle I have is disgusting, it reeks of smoke smell. And the windshield is nasty. They actually deserve NO DAMN STARS THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!I rented a SUV that was really too small for the price for a week Retuned it on Friday evening and was charged for the NEXT DAY when I didn't have the vehicle. Telling me what was fully explained ( the manager was MOT the one that went over the RENTAL AGREEMENT with me so an After the Fact comment by an employee is BS . (The employee will always explain a LIE to cover their self) in fact I did tell the employee that I would be returning back to VA late in the day and I was actually told that would be fine "WE HAVE A DROP BOX" there was never a mention of charge for the following day. No mention of no After hours drop off charge nothing. So to the Manger that left me a long message- the n a he said she said matter. Outstanding Customer Service! I arrived at this location after receiving H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E service at the Old Ferry location. IMO Enterprise should close Old Ferry and terminate every single last one of those people over there and start over. I mean when a client is coming in to spend $1 or in my case $500 plus on a car rental, you're not doing me any favors as I'm ELECTING" to spend my money with you. Its not a requirement but a choice and in order for me to make that choice, I need to feel respected and considered and not like I'm being run over by a truck filled with rude and crass people. As for Auth Road, outstanding service was provided by Amen. Cedrick was an all around professional associate and Anthony ensured that I was picked up from home and dropped back home in good care. All three people should be commended by management and if possible either promoted or given a raise for such great service. I was all but ready to give up on Enterprise after a 20-plus year relationship until the folks at Auth Road stepped and made me a believer once again. If you're in search of respect, consideration and people treating you like a human being then the Auth Road Enterprise is your safest bet for ensuring this will happen. Old Ferry - Well let's just say that remediation and some massive retraining of associates to understanding the core basics of customer service is highly required as if these people ran my business the way they run that location, I would have long fired them all! The location I went too was the satellite office in the BMW dealership. The location was under staffed for how busy they were. They had one person at the desk and really should have had two. The customer service was good and they got me into a car that was perfect for what I needed. The person there was also very patient as he had to pretty much explain every aspect of the rental agreement and how to drive a car to the person in front of me.... really the guy was a trip... but all the more reason for a second person. read more

I have been renting cars at this location for a long time (they used to be across the street a few years ago). Well, let me tell you it can be a great place, but....... This location is very high volume because of its proximity to many car dealers. People often use it to rent while their car is in the shop. The one nice thing about that is this location gets a lot of cars.....the bad thing is you often have quite a long wait to pick up a rental due to the number of rental they have. Also, if you intend to rent often and think you might be able to get to know your representative......not really going to happen because this location is where people get sent when they are on the fast track to promotion.....a lot of turn over. The representatives are friendly and usually try to work with you, but recently I have notices the prices creeping up also. read more

Great Experience. Called asking for a nice vehicle to rent for my wife's special conference. This place is a bit out of the way so I asked for it to be delivered to my house. Christina was very pleasant and said no problem. We agreed on pricing and delivery time over the phone and verified through email. Awesome follow up throughout the process. I am what you call a Platinum renter with Enterprise. I have been renting with them since I have been able to drive. lol I have frequent this location mainly because of the customer service, which goes a long way with me! Michelle has always been very polite, professional, and courteous with me and my husband. Elgin is also very professional. My last rental with them was Nov. 20, 2015, and I am sure it won't be my last during this holiday season. I prefer this location to any other even on their "bad" days when they can get understaffed. They lied about pre paid gas the short small petite lady I don't know her name but she told me the prepaid gas was $1.05 a gallon she never told me they charge you for a full tank of gas on top of that they charged me $18 and some change for the gas in a ford focus. Which is in no way $1.05 a gallon. Also they did not tell me they had no where to park my car why I drove the rental. I will not rent from that location anymore Ill stick with my usual where I can park my car and take the rental. BEWARE OF THE PREPAID GAS CON!!!!! read more
