I needed a vehicle for the day as mine was in the shop. My online search showed me a different rental company that was a half mile from my house so I started there. That ended up being a bad experience, which led me back to an online search where I found this Enterprise 1 mile away. I called the national number and was quickly connected to a human. That representative was able to confirm the vehicles were available at this location and I was able to make a reservation with ease. Upon arriving, I was promptly greeted and told that the rep would be right with me as they were helping another customer. As soon as it was my turn, the rep thanked me for being patient and quickly and professionally helped me out. The following day I returned the vehicle and was helped out by a different rep. As I was waiting for my turn, this rep was on the phone reassuring a potential customer who apparently had an injury I was otherwise not feeling very well and had concerns about their reservation. The rep was patient, empathetic, and reassured the customer several times. As soon as it was my turn, the rep took care of me promptly and professionally, with a friendly smile and good personality. A shout out to the entire team and management as this reflects a healthy culture. They shout out to Immanuel who checked in when I got there and Salvador who helped me when I returned the vehicle. Very bad waste of time tonight when I went to pick up a BMW that I wasn't told that a foreign something dollar deposit that was required in order to rent it and I waited around for the other RENT renting person that rented the car before me to bring back the car and then they brought it back to the wrong location and I'm told 30 minutes and it turned out to be like close to an hour or more that I waited for no reason so I won't be coming back to this location it was very disappointing read more

They are honestly a no frills rental car company ... perhaps limited stock of cars unlike an airport location or car rental company. It is what it is. Superb service . That's why they deserved 5 stars . I had to drop off my car at a car body shop. Cheerful talkative Douglas came to pick me up at body shop to bring me to Enterprise ! Very very friendly and I liked hm . Shelly was manager that days very helpful . She was detailed and very professional . She tried to be efficient and she matched me with a Hyundai that was way above what I was expecting . It was quite the fluke how it happened but her service skills were very nice . Would like to give this location a better review from all the other ones. I've rented in multiple Enterprises but this one continues to succeed with customer service consistently with me, if something is wrong with the car they'll let me know ahead of time with options, but if I don't like any options they'll do their best to call other branches to fit my needs. My partner and I were traveling somewhere far and wanted to rent a car so we don't put miles on our car. Additionally, we wanted something fun and nice. We made the reservation on enterprise.com and came in to pick up our vehicle and were greeted but a most friendly team! Shelly along with Owen and Jackie helped my partner and myself get situated with protections and a car that fit our needs. Everyone was very nolegable in educating us about the different protections they provide. Additionally, the rate we were told at the beginning was the rate we paid at the end. Owen did a walk around the vehicle and showed us all the features, and Jackie at the end double checked that we had everything ready as we left. When we brought the car back, Shelly was the person that check us back in and was transparent with everything in terms of billing. She also told us about a survey they do at enterprise, and we will for sure be doing that, along with this Yelp review. Needed a car for a few days while mine was in the shop. I appreciated that the nicer vehicle class was not very expensive. The reservation process (online) was super easy and I got email confirmation about everything. The staff when I picked up the car was great, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The car was very clean inside and out. It was a bit low on gas but I would have had to fill it up anyways before I came back so not a big deal. When I dropped off the car it also was very quick and I didn't even have to sign or provide redundant information all over again. Good efficiency from a super friendly staff. Also I was able to get a ride back home (10 mins away) which I didn't expect, so a good customer service add-on there! read more

On the reservation also mention that they should have similar models, but when I came today, their freaking manager said all sold and nothing similar or available. Auto-body repair pick up went great. Driver was friendly, but they took me to this location vs Mt. View, which is closer to me and where my reservation was. Upon arrival, the original car reserved was not available and had to wait for cleaning of different vehicle. The car smelled of smoke when I drove off lot. Opened the windows to air it out, but my kids felt sick when in the car due to the smell. Called Mt. View and exchanged for another small SUV. My kids had to miss their practices in order to do this exchange. They offered not to charge for the fuel on the last one, but I didn't use any measurable amount. This was a huge inconvenience to come and do this exchange and wasted $ missing practices. New car doesn't fit my kids seat properly. Latch cannot be used because you can't access the latch. Latch is much safer, and seats seem off center now. read more

My car insurance booked me a reservation at this location. I went to go pick up my reservation and my two choices in cars was a ford mustang or dodge charger. I have a 3 year old still in a car seat. I asked the employee is there any other vehicle available I have a car seat with a child, and the employee said no or I would have to pay more. I just wanted a regular car and not a sports car, and this is the first experience ever with a car rental place that has 0 customer service skills. I took the dodge charger since it was 4 doors, hated it, but I had no other choice. About 4 weeks later I received a call from a random out of state number and I answered, this branch turned me into investigation for a stolen vehicle!!!!! This was an insurance claim reservation with NO return date. I was threatened if I didn't turn the car in that second the cops will come to arrest me. I turned the car in and said why did no one call me to tell me I needed to return the car back? The employee said "we did I personally called you" then I responded if you called why do I have 0 voicemails from you or any employee from enterprise? He just stayed quiet because he was lying. I called corporate enterprise that deal to deal with this huge ordeal and never heard or received a call from them. I was so embarrassed to be treated like a criminal and accusing of stealing a car I didn't even want in the first place. read more

The only reason I have it 2 stars is due to past experience with this location. Otherwise, it would only be one star. I called last week to schedule a pickup an hour and a half before they closed and the lady on the phone told me they couldn't pick me up because their drivers go home in 15 minutes. So I took a cab. This week I called ahead of time at 8:45 am to be picked up at 10:30 am and was told they couldn't schedule a ride that far in advance. I was told to call when I was ready and then they will pick me up. But it's okay for me to have to wait for an hour on their drivers. I'll just take a cab again. Good job. Understanding that this place gets very busy given all the car repair and body shops in the area and that the staff tries hard, I was sorely disappointed. The process took an unreasonable 45-50 minutes to get me my rental after the time I arrived. 2 individuals were served b4 me even though they came after me. Rental car was not what was booked thru the online system and the option that was shown to me was filthy both inside and out (necessitating more time while it was cleaned, at least inside, to an appropriate standard). Beware of this car rental location especially if you are going through insurance. Ask your insurance company to book reservation at another location. There are many other enterprise locations nearby. The agent here told me car was fully covered by insurance and nothing would be charged to me. On his tablet while taking initials he moved so fast and showed me screen in such a way that I did not see any estimated charges. I never asked for any upgrade. And since I was sent here through my insurance I assumed they knew what was covered and giving me relevant car or just inform me if they did not have the relevant car so that I could go to another location. Be careful with this location. Explicitly ask them if there are any extra charges and walk away if they tell you car is not available. Also when I was picking car I asked for a pick up . They told me they were busy and we can only pick you after 2-3 hours. When I reached there by cab I saw 3 agents and no customer. read more

I had a great experience at this Enterprise facility this week. I needed a car last minute due to a vehicle repair. There were no cars to be found locally. The staff moved some things around and were able to get me into a car on Wednesday afternoon. I returned the car on Thursday, but where I needed to go was outside of their normal delivery area. The area Enterprise manager, "Michael", just happened to be in the store that day. He is a great person and took care of me. He understands people and life in general and will go very far with Enterprise or whatever he chooses to do in the future. If you like Enterprise in the south bay area, you'll like using them even more with Michael supervising them. If you have had a bad experience in the past, please give them another opportunity now that he is in charge. read more

I've rented from this particular location (815 E. El Camino Real) 3 times in the past 8 months. Not once has everything gone smoothly. The most recent incident (and the reason for this review) is Enterprise just sent me an information request for a damage claim from a rental back in June/2022. They rented me a minivan that was dirty, dinged up and had mechanical issues with the rear tires. Needless to say but nothing happened for the entire 230 miles I drove the minivan and then returned it. TBF they gave me a discount for the condition of the vehicle and *maybe* the damage claim is from corporate and not the local store but how did they dig up my name 8 months later? My other two rentals were from the Enterprise Truck Rental at the same location and involved improper check-in (from the night drop key box) and a double billing which took over two months to resolve. So frankly it's a lot of aggravation after the fact. read more

My experience with enterprise has scared me away from wanting to use this service here ever again. First let's start by saying I had booked a reservation for a economical vehicle over the phone while my car was being repaired in the shop. I came into the enterprise on El Camino in Sunnyvale and find out I was at the wrong location. Apparently there is more than one enterprise on El Camino in Sunnyvale (my fault) but they insisted they can still help me out. Ok awesome! Took down my info blah blah then tells me they do not have a economical vehicle at their location so I asked of the address so I can just go to the original location of my reservation. I wouldn't have mind any car but I'm paying out of pocket so I wanted to make sure I'm not paying extra to barrow a car that will be sitting most of the time I have it (work). They then try and match the price when I was going to head out to the location of my reservation so it's only $4 more per day. Cool, I'll just take it because I need to get to work anyways. I get in the vehicle, start up the car and the maintenance light is flashing and beeping. GREAT. Figured I'd come back or call to see if I can exchange after work for something not needing maintenance. Stopped by an enterprise (different location still in Sunnyvale) to see if I can trade in the car because the maintenance keeps beeping every time I get in the vehicle and the tags on the car are expired. The lady with no emotion at the front desk says when cops run the plate they'll know it's a rental. Ok cool but I'd love to avoid that and not have a beeping vehicle every time I get in. The guy at the front then mentions I'll need to exchange it at the original location.... so I just choose to keep the car so I'm not waisting anymore of my time. I get a call, my car is ready for pick up. Thank goodness! I call enterprise (location I received my car from) ask if I where to return the rental if I can receive a ride to the auto body shop. The lady says she does not see the shop on her list of auto repair shops and they can only pick up or drop off in a 3 mile radius. Ok good to know. We hang up and I then map out the enterprise location and the auto body shop. It is exactly 3 miles away. So I call again and ask, let them know the shops name and the distance. The lady who answered this time mentioned they can provide me a ride to the shop. Perfect. At 5 pm I rush out of work to get through the traffic, get gas a nearby gas station before returning the car. Getting to enterprise at 5:20 letting them know I need to get to the auto body shop by 6 pm because that's when they close. The manager then mentions that I can return the car at the auto body shop......... SMFH I rushed from work to get through traffic, fill the tank and get there for him to tell me I could have just went to the auto body shop around the corner from my job and return the car to them!!!!!! Smh I was so upset. I then sped off to the auto body shop to pick up my car and hand over the rental keys to them. I really wish one of the ladies who answered the calls could have told me this in the beginning. Not only only was the car a annoying, beeping with expired tags car this whole thing was just a waist of time and money. I promise to not do business here again. read more

So last minute last night, the auto shop guy told me that he made an appointment for my car to be brought In the next morning. Then of course, last minute I'm trying to figure out my ride situation and decided to book a reservation through Enterprise (after 1030PM). I've been to this location before but the other couple times it's been booked through the auto shop. I did my research last night and figured since I'm paying out of pocket, why not go on their app and book an online reservation for something specific instead of walking in early the next morning expecting a random car. I booked my reservation for a Tesla for pick up at 8AM, received the confirmation email and everything. I arrived this morning for Kae to assist me on my reservation. She's great as she's helped me before, no negative feedback on her great service. Since I booked online, all she needed to do was check my DL & take my payment. After all of that was done, she asked her colleagues where the keys were for the vehicle for them to tell her that they don't currently have it because so and so took it this morning. Now I'm not sure who the person is or what her title is that took the vehicle.. I was told by a gentleman who might've been a supervisor (didn't get his name) that they asked everywhere if there's another Tesla available and unfortunately the vehicle will be back this afternoon. Of course I couldn't wait til afternoon since I have to head to work, hence why I booked the reservation for 8AM. This gentleman told me that because I booked late last night and they had already closed, they didn't see my reservation. I'm sorry? Because I booked late after you guys closed, you guys didn't see my reservation? So then what is the purpose of being able to book online & for as early as 730AM as an option?? At this point I was annoyed. If I had wanted to get a random vehicle, I would've came in without a reservation. When I asked Kae what exactly happened and if they only had 1 Tesla vehicle available at the location, she stated that the woman who's in charge of Tesla something something, had taken it with her for the morning not knowing there was a booking. (At least I believe that is what I understood). Maybe next time, moving forward as a business for best practice, check the reservations list in the morning to make sure the vehicle isn't booked before taking it out for a joyride. Not only did I spend more time than I intended to for an online BOOKED RESERVATION, I also left with a different vehicle rather than the one I booked. Great customer experience. read more
